1601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 14, 2022, 12:41:14 PM
This break in the competition should help some teams to better prepare for the continuation of the season and increase the chances of a better result.
I'm thinking of Liverpool in particular, who usually start the season worse, but in the second part of the season they play much better and achieve much better results.
If they were to play their match against Real now, they wouldn't have much of a chance, but I'm sure that in the spring they will be much better and more ready for the match with Real.
In any case, a very uncertain and exciting competition awaits us, and we still do not know in what condition the players will return from the world cup.
Yes, a break in this competition will help some teams especially Liverpool. however, not all teams benefit from the world cup break. some teams will be disadvantaged by players who experience fatigue, may get injured after playing their matches in the world cup.

Nonetheless, it appears Klopp has benefited from the World Cup hiatus. as we predicted, if Liverpool played their match with unstable team performance conditions. many of us predict, Liverpool will be powerless against Madrid in the round of 16 later. however, by having a long break due to the world cup break. Klopp, can rearrange his troops and restore the mentality of his troops, plus provide time off for the recovery of injured players.
I hope that after the world cup break ends, Liverpool can show their best game against Real Madrid.

I think these types of breaks are better for those teams which are underperforming. And these types of brakes is not good for those teams which are performing well and consistently, because this certainly takes out the momentum from them in my opinion.

But I think a team which is performing well is more likely to come back and start performing well regardless of a break unless they have injury issues. And this is one thing that clubs will have to be really careful about. But then again, they honestly cannot do anything if a player gets injured, trying to give his full effort at the World Cup for his national team.
1602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 13, 2022, 08:15:59 PM
Liverpool formation actually changed to 4-3-3 and Firmino as central forward and Nunez filled left winger position, not any changed with Liverpool starting eleven opponent Southampton and three points achievement is needed if want take top position standing before international FIFA World Cup break out. Salah keep filled the usual position as right winger side and have little changed on midfielder area where Jordan Henderson not include in line up listed. Have many changed formation use by Klopp after several main player get injured, actually Nunez is not winger side position but after Luis Diaz injured Klopp have moved Nunez become winger player.
But it looks like Klopp managed to concoct this strategy by winning 3-1 against Southampton. Darwin Nunez also managed to score 2 goals in this match, in my opinion it's not bad to fill Luis Diaz's position. Maybe in the future Klopp will apply a formation like this when some of his players are absent when injured.
Compared to previous matches, Liverpool's performance against Southampton was mixed. They played well and won. Liverpool's performance has improved in the last few matches. They have managed to beat strong teams like Napoli and Tottenham. And in the last match, they also won against Southampton.
Even so, I'd say Liverpool's performance is completely erratic. I don't think Liverpool can maintain that consistency after the World Cup break. They will lose the truck again. Liverpool still has a lot of weaknesses within the team.

I honestly think that Liverpool is improving. But surely they are getting better. A lot of people thought that Klopp might get sacked. But right now I don’t think that is going to happen. Things are improving for Liverpool. Now Liverpool got two back-to-back wins.

And yes, I agree that none of those were actually very convincing but a win is a win. And I think it is just simply because the players in Liverpool were not able to perform at their best. But at the same time, I am not going to say that all the problems of Liverpool have been solved. They are still going through that improvement phase and they still have a lot more to do to get back on the top of the table.
1603  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bank account linked to FTX US on: November 13, 2022, 05:07:30 AM
FTX and FTX.us were both hacked at the same time, the story behind this is still unclear but it is better for everyone to remove all links and stop accessing both exchanges to avoid unfortunate incidents in the future. I wouldn't believe this was an external attack, this could be their internal attack and someone trying to collect their last property to run away. This could be the worst disaster in crypto history.
1604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bearish fud main account Bitcoin on Twitter on: November 13, 2022, 04:57:59 AM

I have never seen any official bitcoin accounts on any platform. Look at that twitter account created in 2011 but it's also not recognized as official by TW, so it's just a normal user's account and it doesn't represent bitcoin. Bitcoin is open source and not controlled by anyone, be careful what you are following on social media, it can lead you to some scams.

It's very hard to find any readable, informative posts in Twitter anyway.

Twitter is considered a favorite place for investors, all information is regularly and fully updated on it, and as long as you know how to select information, it will be very useful.
1605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is centralized, can we trust it anymore? on: November 13, 2022, 04:41:33 AM
`~

Don't get your point, if something is getting centralized then it is controllable so for an average joe the chances of making profits will become less cause manipulators know when to trigger the button which pours profits in their pockets.

Bitcoin is not really anonymous but its completely decentralized so there is a difference between anonymity and authority. If we actually wanted the privacy then monero might be the king but it isn't the case.

If it's about manipulation, I still believe that the crypto market is being manipulated even with bitcoin and not just with centralized altcoins. If we compare bitcoin to gold or stocks, bitcoin is too young, its capitalization is too small and it is not regulated by any legal authority, so the manipulation will never stop. The market is so vulnerable, even a few tweets from Elon caused an immediate reaction from bitcoin or the market. So whether concentrated or not, they are still manipulated, making prices to profit from big forces.

Yes, I agree with you, bitcoin is not really anonymous, it is just decentralized and I think that is enough for us to avoid government control and tracking. Anonymous coins like XMR although very well anonymous but not decentralized like bitcoin and they are being targeted by the government, they are too risky.
1606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 12, 2022, 07:51:19 PM
As I predicted in the previous post, Gladbach will win the match against Dortmund.
Gladbach, have a good record when playing matches at their own headquarters. while Dortmund, in their 7 away matches, were only able to win 3 wins and 4 defeats. and with this result, Dortmund add to their bad record with 5 defeats in their 8 away games this season.
this is a bad season for them, than the previous seasons. some of the young players they projected this season, did not perform brilliantly plus they had a number of names of players who were absent due to injury apart from Sebastien Heller. something that Edin Terzic did not expect of course.
Now I cannot say that Dortmund did not play well in that match. I think Dortmund certainly played well. Obviously, if we look at the stats we will see that Dortmund is the team which had the most amount of possession of the ball. But if we actually watch the match, we will understand that Mönchengladbach made more devastating and penetrable passes compared to Dortmund. Dortmund did have the ball but they rarely made good enough chances with it. Dortmund did make chances I don’t deny that. But the finish was not there for them.

Today, I'm waiting for the Leverkusen vs Stuttgart match in a few hours. which is where I estimate, Leverkusen will get their win in three matches in a row.
Leverkusen vs Stuttgart

As I thought, Leverkusen got the win in this match. And I think there are better performances to come from Leverkusen. They should be able to get further ahead in the table compared to where they are now.
1607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 12, 2022, 07:40:10 PM
Napoli - Udinese was a very nice and very entertaining match. Napoli made it unnecessarily difficult for themselves by seeing a 3-0 lead almost completely evaporate. Some underestimation and laziness were likely factors. Sampdoria lost yesterday, not good either. The last runner-up only has 5 points, but Sampdoria and Cremonese are not far above that with 6 and 7 points. Atalanta should really start winning games again, otherwise the season will be a big deception without European football, conference league that is too low a level if they would qualify for that.
Yes, it's a great match. Although I was a little nervous when Udinese's first chance almost scored against Napoli. And in this match Osimhen and Elmas really played well. Even the goal by Elmas I thought was beautiful. he outwit the Udinese players with an incredible flick until he finally scored with a hard kick. but Silvestri is also amazing. he was able to save Udinese from 2 hard kicks from Elmas and Osimhen even though I thought a hard shot like that should have been a goal. but it turned out that Silvestri could hold it brilliantly. Nestorovski's goals were also very classy. ah what an amazing match. and now Napoli are further at the top with a difference of 11 points from Lazio. And it looks like a tough test comes when Lazio have to catch up with points. because Lazio have to fight Juventus. and I think this match will be a match that is difficult to predict.

Honestly, I think Napoli could have scored a lot more goals if it was not for the goalkeeper of Udinese. The goalkeeper of Udinese stopped some really furious shots hit by Osimhen. And also Osimhen was absolutely unbelievable in that match. But towards the end because of some mistakes made by Napoli, Udinese almost came back into the game. But in the end, Napoli held on and got the three points. So this does mean Napoli extend their lead to 11 points with one match more played(15). They really look set to win the league title so far.
1608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is centralized, can we trust it anymore? on: November 12, 2022, 06:12:40 AM
We all know ethereum merge of PoW to PoS happened recently which reduced the transaction fee a lot but it become more centralized than before so what is going to be the future of ethereum?

Today I saw some blogs related to this so just curious about what bitcointalk community thinks about this merge, the major stake holders of ethereum becomes centralized exchanges which all consists of 64% and all the centralized exchanges are regulated and can be controlled by government so in future if governments make changes in their regulation policies which can affect the ethereum so what will be the future plan of ethereum holders? It can be trusted and still it is good for investment?

In today's market, with the exception of bitcoins and non-custodial wallets, as far as I can tell, all the rest we are using are centralized, from exchanges to altcoins...it's all centralized and we don't seem to care about privacy anymore, we care more about profit. If you need a privacy priority coin we have bitcoin and I think bitcoin alone is enough for us to use. As for ethereum or other altcoins that are just tools to make profits, you don't need to worry about whether they are centralized or decentralized. As long as they are profitable for us, we just need to invest and convert them all to bitcoin on the DEX, we are safe.
1609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are crypto devs so greedy on: November 12, 2022, 06:00:28 AM

Here are some solutions:

1) Limit on the number of new projects : All crypto devs are not greedy. But the problem is that there are so many new projects and so many new developers behind these projects that some people will come out to be greedy from these always.

At such some step should be taken to limit the number of new projects. Only credible people or people with good history should be allowed for this . People can also ensure this by boycotting projects that do not have a solid team.
Limiting the number of new projects is like holding back the growth of the market, cryptocurrencies are a free, open market and they are in the development stage, don't hold it back.
Luna and FTX before bankruptcy, the development team behind are all talented and very good people. So even celebrities cannot guarantee the safety of the project, everything is at risk.

2) Strict punishment for defaulters : Even when coins have collapsed or exchanges were at fault, they were able to get away with all this without any punishments. This is not good as it removes the fear from bad people and they repeat the mistakes in future causing further loss to more people.

Examples should be set in these cases with very strict punishments so that no one can think of duping people of their hard earned money with scam projects in future.
Strict punishment means you accept the government to control us, only the government has the authority to make regulations as well as the power to punish the scammers but regulation will also cost us freedom, privacy.

There is no effective solution, all of this comes from greed, as long as we control greed, we will avoid these scams.
1610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin survived a lot more than one Exchange going bankrupt - Remember that on: November 11, 2022, 06:27:55 AM
There is no reason to fear if we have stayed in the market so far, we have dropped from $69k to $20k and we are still here. So why should we fear when the price drops from $20k to $16k?
Whether you are new or old, remember that bitcoins do not depend on any exchange or any country, only they depend on bitcoin, if they crash bitcoin will always be there but if bitcoin crash all will die together. Exchanges like Mt.gox or FTX crashing isn't necessarily a bad thing, because like all shitcoins, the bad stuff needs to be removed as soon as possible, keeping only the best. If we want the market to grow further, just keep the best.
1611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc wallets difficult to use on: November 11, 2022, 06:10:11 AM
Yes they are difficult to use most easy Are blockchain.
This is the reason why exchangers still popular
Can you tell one safe and secure btc wallet ?
Wich one is safe?
Actually, using a non-custodial wallet or an exchange wallet has nothing to do with difficulty or ease of use, the difference lies in the purpose of use. People who leave their bitcoins or cryptocurrencies on centralized exchanges are mostly traders, very few holders will leave bitcoins on the exchange.
Nowadays, people not only invest in bitcoin, many also invest in altcoins and the fact that each stored coin needs a separate wallet makes it very difficult to control the asset. So people tend to have them all on a centralized exchange, which is convenient for trading as well as managing them.

I have also used blockchain.info wallet, coinbase...but if for storing bitcoins Electrum wallet is the best and easiest to use I found, and for those with higher security needs, they will tend to choose hardware wallets for themselves.
1612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 11, 2022, 05:38:19 AM
England really played very well in today's match.  India went into bat and collected 168 runs losing six wickets in the scheduled 20 overs.  Many people said that India's run rate in the first stage was very good, but India lost to England's strong performance.  England scored 170 runs to secure the final today. But kudos to England as they beat India in an unusual manner today.  the
England's performance was excellent today. At the same time, the performance of Indian players was very bad. They were batting slowly from the beginning of the match. And that's why they couldn't collect big. Had the top-order players performed better, the result of this match might have been in favor of India. Rohit Sharma wasted a lot of balls. More than 190 was needed to win against a team like England. But due to slow batting at the beginning of the innings, the Indian team could not give a big target. And it is not possible to win with such a low target on such a batting-friendly pitch.
I am now thinking about the final game, England vs Pakistan. What a great game it is going to be when both teams are in top form at the same time. I can't say for sure which team will win. However, England's batsmen are better than Pakistan's batting lineup, they have good batsmen in the middle order. But everyone like me is interested in this final.

Just a shameful experience. Utter domination from England. I don’t think India ever thought in 1 million years that they were likely to lose like this in the T-20 World Cup semi-final.

Right now a lot of people are going to say that India did not play well. And I agreed that this was not a pitch in which 160 was going to be enough. But I really do not think the performance was that bad from India. They just simply did not have any answer to that English batting lineup. England batsmen simply slapped the Indian bowlers here and there. India has to be embarrassed after a performance like this.
1613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CPI DATA INCOMING on: November 10, 2022, 11:56:21 AM
This is the most notable information in the last 2 months of the year, the Fed will rely on this month's CPI to consider whether to raise or lower interest rates and it will decide the trend of the market. But for better or worse, I don't think it matters anymore as we've probably experienced bigger crashes like this since the start of the year so there's no reason for us to worry about CPI this time around. Just looking ahead, no matter how bad things are today, it will all be over soon and recovery will also begin.

As for Sol, I think the news only affects solana holders and has nothing to do with bitcoin, it's just shitcoin out of thousands of shitcoins on the market.
1614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Will buy Binance? 🤔 on: November 10, 2022, 11:42:14 AM
Luna goes bust
>3AC goes bust
>Voyager and friends go bust
>FTX buys it
>FTX goes bust
>Binance buys it

Who will buy Binance 🤔  if they go to dust 😔?

Binance currently dominates the market and has the largest market share, I don't see a problem with them right now so they have no reason to be liquidated like FTX. FTX was not transparent in its investments, they themselves became greedy and forced CZ to sell all his FTT tokens causing market panic.

Yesterday when Binance announced the acquisition of FTX, I didn't believe it because doing so binance would be sued for antitrust laws and would be investigated by the government. In the end, everything didn't happen and FTX was liquidated today. FTX has officially suspendedwithdrawals and there have been rumors they are filing for bankruptcy.
1615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 09, 2022, 06:50:16 PM
How wrong I was!
When I added the victory of Milan to the same multibet. Of course, now I remember the previous round where Milan barely won in the last minutes against the weak Spezia and I think that "it was obvious", but it's too late  Grin
In fact, this draw completely changes the picture in Serie A - now there is no "two leaders and everyone else", but there is one leader and everyone else.
And that team is Napoli who from week to week they feel something comfortable because their competitors failed to get 3 points this week. And if other teams follow in the footsteps of AC Milan, such as Atalanta and Lazio then they (Napoli) can sit comfortably at the top of the table. They now have a difference of 8 points from AC Milan and 11 points from Lazio and Atalanta who have the same points. Now Napoli don't need to chase a lot of goals from Serie A, they just need to win the game even by a narrow score. They don't need to be ambitious to be able to win with a landslide score. It is a comfortable position for Napoli before the international break.

Napoli basically has nothing to worry about right now because they are 8 points clear of the team which is in the second position. As a result, they are taking a huge advantage over the other teams. After all the teams come back from the international break, it is going to feel like Napoli is getting a head start on the season.

It was an unexpected result for Milan though. They really should have done better in the last match. Now the competition is going to be very close from the second position to the eighth position on the table.

I really expect great things from Napoli this season. After this, they will likely not have any problems. And if they cannot win the League title this season, it is going to be absolutely hopeless for them.
1616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the perfect time to invest in Bitcoin on: November 09, 2022, 10:41:11 AM
Today due to FTT the price of all coins including Bitcoin price has gone down completely. If the price of Bitcoin continues to decrease like this, then I think the price of Bitcoin will come to 2017 to 2018. But the price of Bitcoin will definitely increase so there is no reason for you to despair, the price of Bitcoin will increase further. The owner of Binance sold all the FTT tokens it had.Due to which the price of all coins is now towards dumping.

There is nothing to fear, just take a look at the recent ATH and think about the future. This is an opportunity to buy more, the deeper bitcoin falls, the bigger the profit you will be able to make in the future.
But we have to admit that this year's bear season we have experienced a lot of events that the market has never experienced, consecutively large projects in the market collapsed, crises, wars, and epidemics .. .was a very bad year. As investors get smarter, the market will also become harsher and more unpredictable than we thought.
We have stood up to this point there is no reason for us to stop now, be patient and wait, everything will be fine.
1617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it cheaper to send Bitcoin or Ethereum directly? on: November 09, 2022, 09:18:57 AM

That's definitely one of the reasons why this misunderstanding spread out very quickly. It really was made to look like the recent Merge is the silver bullet for all of Ethereum's problems. Of course it wasn't but then all the excitement, the hype, and the anticipation surrounding the Merge blurred the real deal of the upgrade to the point that myths were more popular than the truth. Then the upgrade happened and people are somewhat disappointed that what they were expecting didn't take place. It was all because they're expecting the wrong thing.
What you say is what's happening, people are mostly just focusing on price too much and just waiting for the upgrade to be able to sell at a high price, people barely care what the upgrade will solve and how it will impact the ETH ecosystem. If we try to capture everything, we will not be disappointed.

It can be said that today, new investors entering the market only care about profits and will leave the project when it is profitable. This also worries developers and they also have the same thought, it is better to dump before investors dump, leading to a series of just-for-profit projects and rug pull afterwards.
1618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 07, 2022, 06:01:49 PM
I do not think anyone have thought Leverkusen would win. That was a very poor performance from Union Berlin. Both teams were bad in the first half. But nobody expected that Leverkusen score 5 goals and Union Berlin give up. I hope for Union Berlin that this was an one-off and that they will show a better performance against Augsburg at Wednesday.

This performance was really unexpected from Union Berlin. They have shown some great promises this season. But this match was a big slap on their face. This match really shouldn't have ended like that. I think this ends the chance for Union Berlin to be the winner of this league.

This also establishes Bayern Munich as the leader of the Bundesliga. I don’t know if this is going to be a one-off for Union Berlin. They might close more after this as confidence is likely to be very low right now. But the positive side is that they will play a relatively easy opponent in their next match. So, I think the result might be in favour of Union Berlin.

PCB needs to work on few things which can give them increase in quality and performance as a foreign quality coach and increase in salaries surely will bring positive results now they are already working on WPSL which is surely an amazing thing for this region and development of the game.
WPSL would be an excellent idea. Ramiz Raja recently came up with the PJL, which has been a big success. I am sure that the WPSL will be another success story for the PCB. The Pakistan women's squad has showed a lot of promise, despite having a small talent pool. Also, there is no proper domestic setup for women's game in Pakistan. Ramiz should focus on that as well. And finally, a big thanks to the Ireland women. Despite the recent controversy regarding the shooting of Imran Khan, they decided to continue with their tour.
For the past few seasons we can see that Pakistan Cricket Board has been organizing the PSLT Twenty20 tournament with great success.  And later they took a decision that they will organize WPSL along with PSL.  I think this is very good news from Pakistan Cricket Board.  If they manage this league successfully, then the expansion of cricket in their country will increase.  Hope Ramiz Raja will make this plan a reality.
Their plans for this event have already progressed. From next year we will be able to watch the Pakistan Women's T20 League (WPSL). It will play a very important role in the development of women's cricket team. We think Pakistan women's cricket team will be more experienced and stronger in future. This initiative is truly to be applauded.

@Sithara007 I agree, and I think the Pakistan cricket board is doing all they can to improve the situation of cricket in Pakistan. They have understood that if they do not try to improve the situation of cricket in Pakistan, no one is going to help them. If anything the others are going to try to stop them from improving. So they have taken matters into their own hands.

@BobK71 The situation of Pakistan women's cricket is improving rapidly. And it will be best for Pakistan if they try to maximize their potential right now. In the WPSL the women cricketers of Pakistan will also try to improve their gameplay. That is eventually going to create a better team and also a better environment for Pakistan cricket and Pakistan women's cricket.
1620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining ban in Europe on: November 07, 2022, 02:20:26 AM
It should be fossil fuel ban for sure, not bitcoin mining ban.

It's a bitcoin mining ban, although Europe has stored enough gas for this winter, if the climate changes abnormally, they will still be short of gas, so limiting energy use is extremely urgent now. Traditional manufacturing companies have also had to close due to lack of energy, so their ban on bitcoin mining is understandable. But what worries me is whether when the gas supply returns to normal, the energy stabilizes, will these mining bans be lifted or will they stay in place forever? because they always put the thing that bitcoin consumes energy and that is an excuse for them to find a way to get rid of bitcoin, they always wanted to do this before the crisis hit.
