1601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is Gambling Like Investing on: December 01, 2016, 10:57:10 AM
Aside from the fact that you are risking money, there is nothing more that gambling and investing share in common. Everything in gambling is relying on chance or luck. Everything in investing relies on careful analysis of data.
1602  Economy / Speculation / Re: Friday, January 20, 2017, let's pay attention to that date on: December 01, 2016, 08:40:54 AM
I doubt that bitcoin price will react just because trump will be seated in the office. Let us wait a little longer, when he actually make policies that will effect bitcoin positively. If that happens, then bitcoin will be more expensive. Or if the value of dollar plummets because of him, then surely bitcoin will be more valuable.
1603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin impacts? on: December 01, 2016, 05:06:57 AM
Mass adoption of bitcoin can force many financial institutions to make overhauling to their over all system. It can force money processors to lower their fee.Global monetary market will be severly effected by bitcoin

This is only possible if it is massively adopted globally. Bitcoin can force the hands of the banks to adopt to what bitcoin is doing in order not to be out power by it. But at this moment, it is yet to make an impact to financial institutions. The users of bitcoin is too small to be noticed by the banks.
1604  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: November 30, 2016, 11:12:24 AM
Investing bitcoin is amazing steps to get rich quick. Many peoples was became millionare because bitcoin and I will following with buying bitcoin as much of the money that I have.
I do  not look at bitcoin as something that will give me quiick riches.  I treat it more of a long term investment that can give me a steady source of passive income. I think being patient plays a big role in going long term and disciplinecis definitely needed.

It depends on how you view bitcoin. If you see it as a currency, then you will not profit but just for spending. If you view it as an investment, then it can be a good passive income because it becomes more valuable over time. But if you meant to trade and profit from it, it can be a get-rich-quick asset. If you are good in trading, in short term, you can profit a lot from the fluctuation of its price.
1605  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: November 30, 2016, 11:00:48 AM
Managing money is really hard especially to people like me that wants to buy anything that I want. When i had my first bitcoin i bought a phone. I changed it first to real money and bought it. And i think why didnt I invested it. Then i had an everyday facepalm everytime I remember that

That is right actually, for people like us it is really hard to manage money if we are willing to buy anything we want, like you i also did that thing, i used my bitcoins to buy a bike for myself but to be honest i really needed that, but still i want to save my bitcoins but every month i cash some of them out and spend on myself.

It is not a hard thing to manage money, because with my situation my budget for weekly expenses is not that even high.

Let's say my budget for 3 days is just $10 so how would you budget that? Since I'm not that very socialite person, I'm having a proper budgeting.

I'm setting aside up those things that I need to allocate my funds like fare and some meal allowances. Just don't get too cocky to buy everything you want.
$10 for 3 days? How did you able to manage it?Are you still eating on that amount? Saving and budgeting really helps so that you could able to manage your money well and could able to survive on daily living but that amount you mentioned seems too unbelievable to consider because its really to low and i cant imagine how you able to manage it. Expenses and bills are considered normal but on buying wants its not really ideal.

Actually yes, I'm still able to eat with that amount. Since I don't need to spend too much because my destinations are just a walk away.

Because I'm not focusing with the things that I want, I'm focusing more with the things that I need to spend to, like paying bills and everything.

I usually spend $3/day and of course with the help of some relatives and friends that surrounds for the food so I don't have to spend too much with it.

It helps a lot if you have relatives that can help in your needs like food or shelter. But if you will shoulder everything like mortgage, food, bills and insurance, it will be more challenging to manage your money. And I bet that 3$ a day will be harder to make ends meet.
1606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi reveals himself, what would be of Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2016, 05:04:34 PM
Then his bitcoins will finally move and it is good to the economy of bitcoin. And maybe a positive effect on price also. But more importantly, we would know who are we going to thank for a great invention he has given us.
1607  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many times have you've been scammed? on: November 29, 2016, 04:24:41 PM
I have been scammed by altcoins ICO. I believe it is my fault that I got scammed. I did not researched enough on the coins I am buying. So now I am wiser and avoid investing on ICO. And if ever I will invest again, i'll make sure I know everything about the product I am investing.
1608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: find satoshi? on: November 29, 2016, 08:25:29 AM
Satoshi is still mistery , however every one behind the name Satoshi Nakamoto is a smart , futuristic person

It is possible that Satoshi Nakamoto is not a single person, it is maybe an alias used by a group of individuals who have thought of something like a currency online which gave birth to cryptocurrency and bitcoin. It is also possible that they just made bitcoin not as a currency but it was accidentally considered and accepted as a currency when someone thought of buying it after seeing a potential use and income. But whoever nakamoto is and what ever purpose bitcoin is made of I am happy that bitcoin today has helped me a lot to earn online.

It is very much possible. It can be a single or a group of person who created blockchain and bitcoin. No one here have met satoshi in person so your guess is as good as mine.
1609  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how can i secure tx? on: November 28, 2016, 04:15:58 PM
There is no other way but to use escrow to ensure that your goods will be delivered to you. Since you are just a newbie, they will be wary making transactions to you. So other party will probably require an escrow anyway.
1610  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: November 28, 2016, 07:03:36 AM
If you have a regular income but work on the Internet for which you receive bitcoin, then even easier to collect savings. Probably true bitcoin currency, which has been preserved to bring good returns in the future. And already with other money to manage as best you can.

Having multiple source of income does not always cut it. Most of the times, the more money you have , the more expenses you will incur. If you do not monitor your expenses, it will be very hard for you to manage your finances.
1611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is there to do with bitcoins these days ? on: November 28, 2016, 06:50:04 AM
2 ~ The far majority of the merchants accepting Bitcoin are using a service such as BitPay where you require to have at least 1 confirmation when it comes to higher value transactions.

You could use a Bitcoin payment card, and then you wouldn't have to wait for any confirmations altogether

This wouldn't really make sense for me as I would then need to go through the hassle of signing up to a Bitcoin related debit card. And to do what? The same as my bank card allows me to do? No thanks. As said before, for international use, Bitcoin is a great functioning currency, for local use not.

It looks like you are claiming that Bitcoin use in everyday life sucks just because you should go through the hassle of issuing a Bitcoin payment card on your behalf as though the procedure of issuing a bank debit card is somehow fundamentally different. I guess it is similar to saying that bank deposits suck overall not because the interest you get on the money placed in the bank doesn't exceed inflation in most cases but simply because you have to go to the bank, sign up some papers to open an account there and then transfer some funds to it...

Are you kidding or what?

At least for him it is a hassle because he have to go through the process in which he have already done in his bank card.  and for him, there is no added value if he switch to bitcoin. Which is true. Why would you switch into something if you already have something in place that is working for you. I think it will be different to others, who while spending their bitcoin also earns from them thru trading or other bitcoin source of income.
1612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I did not understand something with the Bitcoin on: November 28, 2016, 04:21:56 AM
Bitcoin is revolutionary, but get paid for his work in Bitcoin is not a bit risky?
If the price of Bitcoin decrease, and you have already been paid in Bitcoin, what will you do?
What is your opinion on that?

I think you should keep a little bit of money in fiat for this very reason otherwise you must just wait for the value to increase. Also check how well your local currency is doing , sometimes even if bitcoin went down in $ the $ could be stronger so you get more in your local currency. This is just a smaller margin though.

Right and I think none of us are already earning purely in bitcoin. So even if the price erratically move, we can just wait for it to go back up or at least at the right price. There is not much we can do about it. We just have to wait until the time when bitcoin is not fluctuating too much.
1613  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: November 27, 2016, 04:08:11 PM

Anywhere scammers exist, not only in the online world or crypto to be specific, but the bad news is only the people who have not enough knowledge fall victim of the scam, these people can easily be deceive because they welcome investments that are too good to be true. I know we are not like them, right?

Experience too can make you a better investor. Experience can make you get away from scammers because you can spot them more easily. So, while you are young, invest. It is the only way that you can gain experience and can make you good at it. And when you are already earning from it, never forget to save for your future.
1614  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: November 27, 2016, 03:49:45 PM
Cash is easy to steal weather from your pocket or your bank account but bitcoin on the other hand has no potential way of being stolen, has more value easy to use and wallets don't charge you anything when sending or receiving bitcoin unlike the regular bank accounts that force you to pay a portion of your hard earned money

I agree with this thing, but one thing is bitcoin  can be stolen by those greedy people and very oriented on stealing using internet . Any thing can be easily stealable through Internet.

Everything  can be stolen if not protected properly, whether it is fiat or bitcoin. I think the advantage of bitcoin in this aspect is that it can be stored offline, on a hardware wallet o lr cold wallet and no one can steal it anymore.
1615  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments create their own cryptocurrency that will replace fiat? on: November 27, 2016, 03:06:12 PM
100 years is a long time. I do not know what will the legislation about bitcoin will be by then. But one thing is for sure, governments do not want to give away control. If it is based on block chain technology, then they cannot control it. So my answer is no.
1616  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 27, 2016, 03:00:35 PM
the current price of bitcoin is important, even those who have been willing to withstand many bitcoin they have to wait for bitcoin price increases, however, this time I'm not considering it. now my main goal is to collect a lot of bitcoin, regardless of price. Well, I always think optimistic, because I know, certainly bitcoin prices will slowly rise.

The reason why your focus is on collecting more and more bitcoins is only because it has a high price, so the thing comes back to the price again which proves that the price does matter in bitcoin, without this price bitcoin would not have been so popular in the world.

You are right. When the price of bitcoin was just cents, no one cares about it. But now that the price has risen to this level, everyone wants it. It is the same technology back then, the only difference is the price. So, price does matter.
1617  Economy / Economics / Re: How much money do you have left from your job? on: November 27, 2016, 02:50:46 PM
I earn about $2500 at my place and I am not at all happy with that much during a year as expenses are high.
Bitcoin sometimes help me out in maintaining the budget so that me and my family survive.

I think $2500 is a good income to have but it will also depend on which country you are living in, if you are residing in first world country then it may not be sufficient for living as cost of living is high but I think its more then sufficient if you are living in third world countries.
Well, if I taste, earning $ 2,500 a year it is very difficult to meet the needs of people who already have a family. I also now have an income of about $ 400 a month, but it is still rather difficult. Well, I was also greatly helped by income from bitcoin, because bitcoin have extended my income each month to more than $ 400

That is close to my situation. Living in a post-communist country in Europe and having income which is over $300 per month is not not bad if you spend them on your needs only, but having a family to feed, kids to rise etc. it's very difficult. So nothing is left actually, all goes for daily needs: bills, food, some simple clothes mostly second hand ones, books for the kids to study.

Damn, same with you guys. How the hell will the government or the world think we can live in this kind of salary? At these rates, we can only earn for ourselves and not for our family. In fact, we can't even earn for what we want. We have to work more than the work hours so we can live a better life.

That is the design of world economy to keep the workers in a ratrace. Workers will keep on working on wages that is merely enough while fiat keeps on inflating and the rich keep on becoming richer.
1618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: November 27, 2016, 01:56:29 PM
It can be. All I know is, cryptocurrency have a great future. It can be bitcoin or a better crypto that can be the future of money. There are still a lot to improve to bitcoin and if they can improve it, it can be the future. But if not, maybe another crypto will be and bitcoin is just another step for a better currency.
1619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: November 27, 2016, 01:08:33 PM
The fact is people around me doesn't know what bitcoin is. Even well experienced and educated teacher also don't know what bitcoin is and when they hear about it they think that is useless and so they don't care about it.
It is very sad to hear about that. I think they must at least know how bitcoin truly work instead of nothing. It can be considered as a crime if someone claims that bitcoin is useless  Angry have you try to convince them yet ?

Professionals who earns  large fiat money through their profession do not have time for bitcoin. We cannot blame them if they view bitcoin as useless currency because they are already satisfied with their fiat income and their time is dedicated to their profession.
1620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: November 27, 2016, 07:39:52 AM
We all can agree that if we buy bitcoin now, you will profit no matter what, because it will be more expensive in the future.
So why people are still being fools - and think that useless (faucet) or totally random dependent (gambling) ways of gathering BTC are good?
Just buy it already, use standard Bitcoin exchange, it is the best way!

The problem here is that most people don't have initial money to buy BTCs, they want to earn money because they don't have it, don't have jobs. For who already has a lot of money it's very easy to make profit with BTCs and increase the fortune, the real challenge here is to start from zero and reach to the top of world.  Wink

Even if you do not have starting capital, you can invest your time and skills to earn bitcoin. There are a lot of ways here to earn bitcoin. But if you are lazy in real life, there is no way for you to earn whether its bitcoin or fiat.
