1601  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 15, 2014, 10:32:53 PM
Shareholders have indeed backed Havelock all the way.  This result should not be a surprise to anyone.

I want to retract everything I said yesterday in regards to taking action against the company.  Yes, I was overly dramatic but felt it was all I had left to try and somehow get Ken to see sense.  I have been as patient as I know how and it suddenly all became too much, so I snapped.  I totally support ActiveMining and appreciate how hard Ken is working to make it successful.  He's done a fantastic job of late and it just depresses me to see that the shareholders are yet to take ownership of their investments.   I've been scammed by just about every startup in this space and ActiveMining needs to work out for me, otherwise I'm back to square one.

Please Ken, give us access to our shares as soon as you can and let the good work you are doing be reflected in the price. Smiley

I think anyone invested in this company has gone through the same emotional roller-coaster ride and flipped out from time to time. I know I have several times over. Its a direct result of the feelings of impotence caused by being denied access to our shares!

presently ActM is doing great... BUT... how long did ASICMINER dominate the hashrate? a few months before they lost their position forever? Imagine if when ASICMINER was priced at 4btc a share that their shares were held by FC and not released for trading? his greatest cheerleaders would be flying to china to chase him down!

how long to get these shares online? not until we lose our position? past performance does not inspire confidence here.

what I am trying to stress here is "time is of the essence"

git those shares online anyway anyhow (Ive been saying this for almost a year!)
1602  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] - KENILWORTH - Real World Mining Opportunity with Bitcoins on: April 11, 2014, 08:10:08 PM
whatever goes on kenilworth-less remains silent, therefore I must conclude they are gone and have no plans to honor their shareholders by making these shares tradeable on havelock, pivately, or anywhere else.

Kenilworth! I'm talking to you. Tell us WTF is going on!
1603  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 11, 2014, 06:59:34 AM

1604  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 11, 2014, 06:28:57 AM
I propose that all shareholders who actually did transfer to AMC tender get rewarded with immediate transfer to CT and let Ken figure out the rest.
1605  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] - ADDICTION - KNCMiner - Now hashing at 14+TH! on: April 09, 2014, 10:03:41 PM
thx 4 the clarification.
its been a good ride and addiction turned out to be a real oasis in the wasteland of crooked btc securities.

cheers
1606  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] - ADDICTION - KNCMiner - Now hashing at 14+TH! on: April 09, 2014, 09:11:53 PM
Is there any sort of future plans for addiction, or is it "that's it, that's all"?

If its all over now, why would you take shares for miners since the shares will be 100% worthless after the final div is paid? its just giving a kickback to larger shareholders isn't it?

I'm not mad here, I feel I got pretty good value for the amount of btc I put into this. I'm just curious about the future and what, if anything, I can get for my shares.
1607  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: April 04, 2014, 07:05:19 PM
I would like FC to address the whole rockminer thing; the ipo bought up by private parties pre-ipo, what prices are AM giving to Rockminer? how many (if any) shares of rockminer does FC own?
I feel this rockminer deal needs total transparency, from AM's side at least, otherwise there will always be suspicions of shady insider dealing, or worse that it is an umbrella company designed to siphon prophets away from AM shareholders and into the hands of rockminer exclusively. If divs and share value continue to suffer people most definitely will begin to ask questions, wouldnt you agree..

and before the cheerleaders try to shout me down with cries of "FC has no reason to go rouge" I only ask for clarification of details and transparency. Anyone can get greedy, regardless of past preformance, thats why transparency is usually offered voluntarily...reassurance in facts rather than paranoia via conjecture. And TBH, that rockminer thing seemed a little off to me. and to address the argument that FC has significant shares in AM isnt good enough either. we saw a few sell-offs take place just before the IPO, one could still sell off shares now and cash out nicely, especially seeing as the future profits are now available through one's rockminer position.

This isnt FUD, these are my legitimate concerns. heck, I wanted in on the rockminer IPO, but as many of you found out, that was for those in the loop only it seems.
1608  Other / MultiBit / Re: Disturbing glitch in multibit on: April 04, 2014, 02:29:25 AM
nevermind- i fixed it by closing multibit, going into my app data and deleting multibit.spvchain, then restarting multibit. phwew! that was a stressful hour...
1609  Other / MultiBit / Disturbing glitch in multibit on: April 04, 2014, 02:02:18 AM
hello
I have been using multibit for over a year with little or no problems until today. My computer crashed, and after rebooting it, I tried to open my multibit client and got this confusing message (it is long and multibit wont allow me to copy paste it so here's a screencap)

I tried reset blockchain and it is stuck saying "synchronizing" yet in the message box it says, right after "replaying blockchain" it says "stopping bitcoin network connection"

I'm losing it here. HELP!!!
1610  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] - KENILWORTH - Real World Mining Opportunity with Bitcoins on: April 03, 2014, 10:03:28 PM
oh look!  the kenilworth listing on havelock is labeled "invalid" now!

looks like these thieves have absconded with our btc. glad i only put a tiny amount in, but i will be notifying the authorities nonetheless.

scumbags.

1613  Economy / Securities / Re: ROCKMINER - miners using GEN3 ASICMINER chips on: March 25, 2014, 10:25:34 PM
My only fear that this umbrella company will ultimately lower AM divs and therefore devalue AM shares.
1614  Economy / Securities / Re: [Active Mining] The UNofficial Active Mining Discussion Thread [UNmoderated] on: March 21, 2014, 12:49:55 AM
Look, I can understand why my last 3 posts got v& but I mean it. I know I shouldn't use hate-speech but sometimes I get so angry I cant help it.

anyway, the writing has been on the wall w/ this jalopy since even before it became un-tradeable on whateverexcuse.lk. I suppose I copy-paste this into more "democratic" subs?
I'm pretty busy so maybe one of you kind fellows might send some new financial advise my way.
Oh yeah...before I forget . Amazing company.

andI dont really think I actually classify as a troll in here.
I am so burnt at this shit ActM
I feel robbed

Gox is not competent enough to redirect people's attention like this.

this.
I love how the kids on this forum seem to know everything there is to know about everything....after the fact. and manage to direct their ire at whomever might be in the hot-seat at the moment.

btw, karpeles told me there's no santa clause. I'm gonna sue for emotional suffering. waaaaaaaaa.

1618  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] - KENILWORTH - Real World Mining Opportunity with Bitcoins on: February 28, 2014, 07:51:34 AM
so... they send everybody a super-inept email that says actually nothing and full of bad links, then go silent again...
I also wonder about the status on havelock. It says "private" next to the listing and the shares are not tradeable. Is this due to action or inaction on Kennilworth's part, or is it up to havelock and regulation-ing on their end that has prevented full approval and green light to trade.

I suppose kennilworth could very well be mineral explorations guys who have shitty PR and internet skills, cant say what the hell is going on since zero communications. I suppose until trading is enabled no news is good news (?)

1619  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 16, 2014, 06:16:02 AM
I used to try and earn extra money when i was a kid back in the early 80s. I'd do stuff like open a screen-printed t-shirt retailing business which meant i screen printed tshirts in my basement and went and hawked them out on the main street. I profited, somewhat. I still advise youngsters to look into screen printing and textiles if they show any entrepreneurial interest.
If even one of them listened to me, there is one person who learned the lesson of thinking for themselves first and not listening to an idiot like me. no matter how persuasive i could be. grammer-correct that mazzah-fkkah

EDIT: ProTip: if buying gift for young adult, I like to choose a waste basket or some other sort of garbage removing furniture
1620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's Conundrum: If you're so smart, Why aint you rich? on: February 16, 2014, 06:01:43 AM
