lets say they are "easy" to make......it will cost millions for production to start.

it is not like someone will get hurt or suffer from it. it is just a technical glitch which happened before, it only happens on rare circumstance which was explained before. no big deal, just a delay in trading
but to some of us time is money....delay = -money

so how would they recover from this? their site still lets people withdraw bitcoins. and bitcoin transactions are irreversible. so what do they do? they can't just do a rollback.
They could easily look at your withdrawal history and then take your account that much bitcoins...simple accounting... what if you never plan on using that account again? So you withdrew coins that were tied up in an order right? Say a sell order... They will just not give you your fiat that got converted...how is there any gain there for you? if you withdrew coins to your wallet how would they reverse that transaction? they would just have an account that has -200btc on it? who would use that? They wouldnt reverse it. You wouldn't get anything else but the coins that you had in the first place....i'm still not following you... no, say you made 200btc off of this chaos. then withdrew it to your wallet. what could they do about it? so it didn't actually happen and you're just spreading FUD. +1

At first I was pretty mad that I sold right before that millionaire bought in
But now I'm glad I did because I think Kentrolla is probably right, BTC will at least momentarily dip quite a bit because of this
Good thing all I had was fiat then...

seriously though. does anyone see a way of successfully recovering from this? u can't just rollback bitcoins.
what evidence is there that a hacker has stolen coins? He think because he withdrew coins that were tied up in a sell order that he has actually "gained" something...i dunno what he's talking about...

I highly doubt ur order will exist if you had coins tied up in an order.... Edit: and withdrew those same coins.

Wow, it's like 2011 all over again...you'd think MtGox would fix bugs like this. I remember seeing them having the occasional loop like this last year. i sure hope its not Gox having this problem.
It's MtGox's websocket that's sending the same data over and over again, so it IS MtGox's problem. +1000000 Seriously they need to get it together...its been over a year since the hack and still got BS issues like this?

Sure looks like it....mtgox live is dead to a halt, price on their main page also dead and sometimes dying, ....

Oh I'm not afraid of putting the code up public. I'm just wary of putting broken code up there and getting lots of people trying it and starting to file meaningless bug reports when the code is in massive flux. I was planning on putting it up shortly anyway.
Take your time.. no need to rush code when you are making sooooo many changes. +50hundred none of the people that have said how "easy" it is have done anything (but I guess 99.9% of them never tried ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) ) - conman is actually working hard at this a little patience people lmao @ ppl demanding btc back when code isnt even finished being written . oh sorry "threatening". way to encourage work....NOT +1....."i'll pledge x btc.......wait........gimme my btc back u f*g since you didn't finish the code faster!"
