So I don't like someone calls me "Sir" , and I don't like to see who uses this word in forums.
Forgive me for broken English, but I think you also have the same feelings for the word “Sir”.
SIR in my vocabulary means "Slave I Remain" and obviously the reason why you hate to be called as SIR is because of this. There is no slavery that happens on this forum right? "Sir" is derived from the word "Sire", or "seigneur" in some other countries, and it was a form of address used when talking to a feudal lord, possibly a knight or a baronet. It was used by the serfs. It doesn't really have a use in the modern world other than as an obsequious form of address used by a shop assistant or waiter.
So Sire or seigneur was the etymology of the word Sir. Anyway, this word apply righteously to the teachers where they love to see their students as slaves. Students are becoming an assistant to the teachers from assigning some of his workloads on that students provided that the student will going to get a good grade. Sorry for bringing this but I would like to ask everybody that we celebrate a happy teacher's month and an Advance happy teacher's day worldwide on 5th of October of every year. |

Most people believe that the price of altcoins' is determined by the price of bitcoin and that they tend to follow it's market movements.
Yes of course, altcoins or alternative coins for bitcoin so basically the market price for these altcoins will determine from bitcoin. Anyway, there are good altcoins in the market that barely has a good market price increase depending on the ROI of that project that could add up its market price value. Undoubtedly, there are market forces and factors which affects most currencies, this is not influenced by bitcoins price, it rather controls bitcoins' price as well as others.
So when trading or investing, make sure you treat each currency differently as they have different utilities.
Bitcoin is not being controlled by other coins here though those coins could really help bitcoins increase its demand as a trading pair on that crypto. |

Let theymos decide on this matter since for the time being had no plan for this to create a demerit committee. Besides if a demerit committee is needed theymos should consider also on how it will be used like a protocol before proceeding to demerit a member for it could be subject also for the possible abuse of its use. I bet also because the peak season for this year is coming already and I guess it will be inevitable for bitcoin to go pump higher on its market price this time. Well I could not make so sure also because bitcoin market price moves unpredictably. One could not really predicts its market price movement and but so since I am seeing and reading a lot of comments an feedback regarding with bitcoin getting another good market price increase on this year ending of 2018.
Well if this really seems to happen I may be happy since I hold small amount of bitcoin also. And it is only bitcoin I am holding for now because the most volatile crypto in the market is bitcoin.
Investors should have consider now on buying bitcoin for still the market price consider to be good and cheap.

Wow you already got so many posts and activities.. I can't imagine what you are feeling right now.. what do you think are the reasons why your rank is back to newbie? Is it because of being inactive or just low quality posts?
As i look at his profile most of the posts are social media bounty reports which could not be merited because it is considered as garbage posts here in the forum. No wonder why you could not get merit. Try something new and check and do the same something like on those threads that are merited the most. Because I only wrote a report about Bounty, I didn't have the chance to get a Merit.
I am now trying to get Merit.
You see, You have agreed to it so posting in this thread complaining about the new merit requirement to rank up jr. members would not be helpful. As theymos said that if you can't rank up then therefore this forum is not for you! |

In bear market price of Bitcoin slowly drops to the bottom. It never go just one way but a bit down and up and down. But of course more down then up. Then we at some point reach bottom and bear market stops. After that price still goes up and down and up and down. But in general price dont moves to nay direction. So price sort of stabilize. After period of stabilization ends then Bull market start, where price goes up and down and up. But more up then down on long term. And then at end we come to the ATH. And ...
Maybe you mean the volatility of bitcoin market price. As we all know that these is not an unusual event for bitcoin market price movement. The OP says if what will actually happen if bitcoin market price fall and who will directly get affected by this and I suppose the short term bitcoin investors. Some of investors may lost interest in holding their bitcoin while new investors may be attracted to invest with its low market price too.
As I thought that the short term investors for bitcoin will directly affected by this resulting to selling bitcoin in a cheaper market price. |

Possible rin naman na dahil sa bitcoin hype noong 2017 at maramin ang kumita dun kaya gusto silang magbahagi. Tingin ko sa paglaganap ng information na kumikita sila ng pera gamit ang mga bounties dito sa forum na ito ang dahilan kung bakit madaming new comers sa forum na ito.
Kadalasan kasi sa atin mga pinoy mga mahihirap kaya pag may nakita na opportunidad e gagrab talaga yan at sa kagustuhan na rin na mgkapera pa mas minabuti na gumawa na lng ng bagong account at dun mg bobounty na rin. Yung iba ng quit pa sa kanilang trabaho. Eh nako di ko kaya yan regular na ako at mabuti din sahod ko kaya di ko need mg resign para dito. Uuwi na lng ako ng ma aga mayakap ko pa mga anak ko at yung labi dabi darling ko. Oo pansin ko din sa facebook groups na related sa bitcoin karamihan doon sa mga kasali don ay walang alam sa forum na ito.

Yeah we are in the same corner there buddy. I had known that it is really hard to get merit after I was demoted too to newbie last 3 days ago. I was so miserable that time and thought that I should do something different. So I cook a thread that was able to change my account rank. I rank up to member now and get advises from good people with high ranks on this forum. My hats Off to them. I am getting across many newbies now with extraordinary post quality and this only happened after the merit requirements update, I guess its already a successful experiment.
This one is the product of the success of the experiment. The admin has done something exceptional knowingly that there could be so many newbie here that would spam in this section so he take a step ahead by letting them buy out the copper membership program with such privilege that could let you wear an avatar. I even do like to buy that membership to wear an avatar that will surely make my profile attractive. For now I am still learning to post constructively and would like to post a thread once the spamming activities of the other members in this section will stop since there are some newbie here still could not accept the demotion. |

This idea would increase the moderators work, which is pretty high already.
And merit , in your example, is not a word related to spam.its an important forum feature that needs to be discussed at this moment.
I suggested in other topic that the words related to altcoins such as "ethereum" or "bcash" etc should be automatically moved to the altcoin board
Precisely it would increase the moderators work! Besides the word merit defines as the quality of being particularly good or worthy (this taken from the dictionary) and should not be used to identify a spam thread. Aside from that since it is automated then you have to made a system on it and incorporate that with this forum and making sure also that there will be no conflicts among the systems that are running already (Im not pretty sure on this, I am not an IT expert). One thing about the OP that I like is his character and attitude for the initiative on imparting his ideas and knowledge for the forum. |

Me, in the role of a trader, always try to increase my dollar. Most people compare Bitcoin to the dollar and say: "one Bitcoin is worth 1$" and less people say:"1$ dollar is worth one Bitcoin." So, at the end, the amount of dollars is important. So try to increase your dollar by Bitcoin. Good luck everyone.

Well thank you for that words and yes you are right i am trying to be good here in the forum by doing the right thing. I consider this a motivation and encouragement for the betterment of my posts in the future! The irony is that erikoy accused the higher rank members of the fact that they "hit you with a fist on your hard face" and "make you cry with your shoulders down" and you proved him wrong, making what erikoy deemed almost impossible. This situation proves once again that the efforts lead to the result.
Yeah I admit my mistakes on this! Please consider that I was a newbie last 2 days after demoted. And I am still learning more about constructing a good thread. It was exaggerated accusing the higher ranks and even the moderator but see the brighter side. I was just kidding on this part "hit you with a fist on your hard face". There are really hard headed newbie here in the forum that always complain instead of doing something that could change their ways in interacting this forum. You forgot something else: you will get on some people’s ignore list. People who are merits sources and high ranks, so you will be way less likely to get merit.
I hope not as what i have said that I was demoted to newbie last 2 days and here I am doing a comeback! And I am still studying also how higher ranks do their posts constructively. Hoping for the kind consideration. |

Why on earth i should post here to get merits? I am not a typical type of person that will likely to jump over this section and will proceed on doing a thread or commenting from any of those shit threads. Just as Warren Buffet says "Don't test the depth of the river with both your feet while taking risk"? What does the risk I am talking here? The risk of getting hit in the face by the higher ranks, or even the moderators of this forum by their fierce critics on the threads and even in their comments. You will just going to know it when you question them in the things you might wonder that you are correct and righteous but in the end you will end up crying with your shoulders down. I have compile some of these here in this thread and try to see it for yourself before you post another thread raising your issues and concerns. from Thekool1s Cuz these people are 'theoretical scientists', Their work is all based around theories, not action  And if I remember correctly this is the 5th post I have seen on the same topic of 'earning merit'. From hilariousandetc I don't think he wants people to go out of their way to just try get merit, but he wants the quality of content to improve. i dont know what admin do for he make the rules about ranking in Bitcointalk, because i think very hard to get merit and make my ranking increase to Member, but now i lost my hope to get ranking Member, because my ranking down to Newbie and i dont know how i can do in this forum, i give up in this forum, because now in this forum to up ranking in Jr Member so hard, especially in the ranking Member or more. i hope the admin make ranking in this forum is easy again.

Don't be so naive look at the brighter side! theymos has brought the jr. member account without merit to be demoted and yet he keeps the balance by letting you pay a small fee and let you use images and avatar in your profile just like those full member do. I have been a member since September, and I have 245 activity, if I 2 year ago to be submit now even though senior will be, but newbie at the moment, this is not fair this is not justice.
You should buy the copper membership program that was announced by theyos. He had made some balancing which if you get demoted then you can avail the copper membership which cost you only a little amount it will give you the chance to wear avatar or images which likely to add stake as a reward for wearing it. I saw the new updates of the rank this day promulgated by theymos one of the Global Moderator here in the forum. It seems like there are so many jr. members being demoted to newbie since they were not able to get even 1 merit like me. I do believe that theymos is just doing this for the good of the forum. I had observe also that there are so many jr. members here spamming everywhere in the discussions. We have one thing in common and that we could receive in those who are running the bounty campaign program a reward. It is indeed a good time having here in the Bitcointalk forum from February 2, 2018 up to present by its ups and down, from the success and the failures and to the confusing time knowing what to do on the coins received from the bounty campaign.
Ever since i joined the forum i did not get any merit/s and i did not even ask for it also that someone might give me one. I admit that i spam on this forum for complying the bounty signature campaign requirements to get a weekly stakes from the program. I did not even completely read those important details about the forum in meta, the beginners and help and other sections related to the forum. By then, I was only doing scan reading on the rules and regulations and highlighted only on those parts that are important and avoid doing those highly offensive type of violations. Which means i violate some of the rules and regulations. I sometimes do the trolling since there are some comments and threads that are useless and needs to get a real good bump to self reflect and realization of that said member. Well that was the fun part of having here in the forum after having some high blood pressure on reading so many threads and comments.
And now i dream about ranking up to jr. member to finish what i had started here since as what i have stated earlier that i am enjoying the stay on this forum. I have known some good men here like JetCash, Piggy, Hilariousandco, theymos and even the profile of Satoshi Nakamoto BCT account after reading his giveaway thread in the forum. I envy them since they are already successful here.
I would like to tell on those merit source that there are investors and at the same time bounty hunter members here in the forum. Since bitcoin/cryptocurrency is the vehicle and we run it, then look after those individuals and should examine them and probably give them merits if they are bitcoin or cryptocurrency investors. In this way the participation for the bitcoin market price rally would be at a greater chance for we give those bounty hunters/investors the encourage to invest more and participate in this forum after receiving merit. This message is really up to you to turn the coin from one side to the other side.

I think that business is in trouble because not all the time you can earn profit using bitcoin because it might be profitable or more worst to that because of its volatility so its not good idea to use bitcoin as payment in any business.
Yeah i could agree with you there are many members here always talking and boasting their accomplishments in bitcoin business. Yet they are not telling also their failures on bitcoin as we all know that when there are success there are also failures and we should not forget that those failure are not being posted here. |

Well technically it is a global tender now. But the fact of the matter is will everyone use it? My take? I don't think so. Not everyone has heard of crypto currency even bitcoin. Others may have heard of it but doesn't understand it. Only a handful of people per country understands crypto currency to a point that they could use it. So i think educating everyone on what crypto currency is and the benefits of it is the firt step.
No it could not be possible but for now it may be difficult to education individuals on cryptocurrency because the system is not yet accepted by the government. Though there are certain countries that has accepted the system then they could possibly implement education on bitcoin. |

We all experience being financially challenged and we cannot deny that money makes us revolve around it. When we find ways to alleviate our financial suffering, we stand our ground and spend so much effort just to see the result and of course, benefit from it. Do you think that spending time and effort to gain bitcoins is a rational idea? Do you think that you could've been wasting your time? Let me know about your thoughts.
No of course there is no wasting time here in joining the forum or spending time with bitcoins. The knowledge with the new trend system could be applied to anywhere since cryptocurrency or bitcoin offers blockchain technology. Aside from that there are some faucets that one could earn and that is by promoting ICO projects and getting reward system after the success of the ICO period. |
