1627  Other / Off-topic / Re: running a mining rig inside a mini fridge on: February 14, 2014, 11:46:57 AM
I think the BTCminifridge is a great idea. I have similar technology for making soup with the radiator in my apt.
first get a can of campell's cheese soup
remove lid
place on radiator
wait half hour
voila

1631  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: direct shares vanished, what can I do? on: February 03, 2014, 10:01:46 AM
i seem to remember a user who held direct shares not getting dividends but it eventually got sorted out when FC finally got around to manually fixing it. apparently FC isn't always the most prompt with his PM replies

Lead miner at Eligius is at 500 TH/s. The mining rigs that this entity has are the sloppiest miners around, completely unable to remain stable, but they work.

I would guess this is Luke Jr.'s rig(s)
What rigs does he use? They must be beta versions.
yeah, I know he got one of the first BFL ones and avalon too, but he's deep into tech and a very early adopter if not one of the original satoshi mailing list guys, so he must have homemade ones from the old days and whatnot. I'd be curious to see his lab. prolly a real mad scientist sort of thing going on.
I'm veering off-topic, so... that is all.

I got a e-mail from Labcoin yesterday (info@labcoin.com) and told me he will come after me if i continue to harass him. The nerves of Alberto to even reply back with that. It seems like he still checks his labcoin e-mail account.
PERFECT! name a time and a place and we will ALL be there (bring your baseball bats)
1635  Other / Off-topic / Re: Satanism and persecution of Christianity on IRC and in the cryptocoin community. on: January 27, 2014, 02:23:16 AM
I used to defend christians, because I believe in freedom of thought. They can believe whatever they want just as can I or anyone else. Well, time and again I have only been met with intolerance and hate from the christians I supported. You are part of one of the worst and most oppressive religions in the world, right up there with every other fundamentalist belief system. Every christian I meet is a bigot and a bully to any who differs in belief. If you see something you dont like on IRC or forums I suggest you do what Jesus did and TURN your OTHER f'n cheek, then GTFO. You bitch about being persecuted but you want to censor thoughts?

I used to defend your type, now I don't. Go to hell, and Hail Satan!

I really enjoy Jerry from EndWorldSuckDotCom.
1637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fancy Accepting Bitcoin. Really cool stuff! on: January 25, 2014, 08:29:03 AM
That is nice stuff. I have been discouraged in the past by the lack of decent goods available for BTC, but it looks like things are looking up. Oveverstock was a real coup, but their shit is...shit; Walmart clone-wares and other vanilla garbage I cannot abide. I like this Fancy! Thanks for the sweet link bro!

Now, if they only sold these...

1638  Economy / Speculation / Re: [POLL] - Predict Bitcoin's all time high on: January 25, 2014, 08:05:31 AM
I have to think that a lot of people losing money in the stock market may be unable or unwilling to get into BTC now and in the near future. They've lost their shirts and will have to adjust before embracing a risky thing like BTC. Ultimately BTC will prevail, but there could be a slowing of new money into the economy for a bit while people recover their ground. They will see the value of BTC all the more through their fiat-based losses, but they may not be able to spend any money at all for a while.
1639  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin ready to new biggest burst according to financial experts!! read on: January 25, 2014, 07:50:04 AM
they wont take canadian money in Kabul Wabo? Inconceivable!

Plus, that isn.t Gene Wilder, It's Angus McTavish The King of Canada! get your facts straight!

He's not cheap! He's thrifty.

1640  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 25, 2014, 04:58:17 AM
"ignore" is kind of pointless when so many users love to quote the trolls and I have to see their blather anyways. If anything, this thread has strengthened my critical analysis skills. I read, think, then disregard about 90% of everything in here. Just like watching the news on tv, you learn to read between the lines and spot outright manipulation and lies.
