1641  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Diversifying Your Portfolio in Crypto on: November 26, 2021, 11:59:18 PM
If you could able to identify directly on whats a scam project then good for you but its not really that something on where everybody would able to do so because experienced eyes wouldnt able on having that 100% sure whether a project is scam or not...

Now a lot of projects are being launched without even having a website. But the lack of a website was previously one of the red flags for the project. And what surprises me a lot is that investors carry money into such projects, counting on the fact that almost all coins after TGE bring several hundred percent profit to their investors. And this is really still a working scheme now, which will be brought down together with the arrival of the bear market.
Investors are looking for hype projects because they want a short-term earning profit and they aren't purely investing because of its use of the project, they invested because they gamble their money and hope it will double the amount within a month or it might a week.  That's right, this seems like a scheme because when the hype will stop, then it will become a shitcoin.

Diversifying a portfolio isn't mean that you will always make a profit because we don't know exactly which is altcoins that have the potential to make a profit.  But Bitcoin for sure is the safe haven if your purpose is a long-term holding, as we can see there's good news to it that for sure it will raise after this correction right now.
1642  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is cryptocurrency making new millionaires every day? on: November 26, 2021, 11:53:25 PM

Maybe one day, the millionaire status will come true for every crypto investor.
This won't happen. Not with the current gambling mindset of investors.
I tend to agree, those who invested hype coins or tokens are totally gambled their money because they want to earn in a short period of time which is though it is risky but if you will a little bit lucky you will be able to earn a profit, but over all isn't safe at all.

You have heard those who've gained but how about those who'd lose their money because they are trapped investing in a high price but suddenly have dropped.  Not all cryptocurrencies will make you rich especially in altcoins, if you're a Bitcoin holder and purchase for about 5 years ago for sure your profit was there, not the short term or hype coins/tokens.
1643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you spoken to Satoshi ? on: November 26, 2021, 11:41:28 PM
There's a lot of people who keep digging and searching for who is Satoshi and there's a few of them claiming the real Satoshi even though they can't able sign message the first Bitcoin wallet which a proof of evidence that they are the one.  Why not we didn't respect Satoshi's decision to become anonymous, and comment above was right, being anonymous is the power of Bitcoin to maintain the decentralized nature of Bitcoin.

Who knows maybe there is, but not publically posted it here those who spoken with Satoshi before and having an interaction with Satoshi.  I believed this user Hal, was spoken to Satoshi before because he is knowledgeable about Bitcoin and Blockchain networks.
1644  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Gifting Bitcoin to minor on: November 26, 2021, 02:26:26 PM
I will do more research. It does seem complicated but I can keep at it.
It seems you're doing great now and I think you already understand the concept of Bitcoin and how it will work.  As you have said above, your nephew said that he/she likes Bitcoin, which means, your nephew probably already knows or has a little idea about Bitcoin and that is the reason why he/she requested that valuable stuff from you.

Just a friendly reminder, remember that anyone who will hold the private key will be the new owner of your Bitcoin.  If you want to hand over the private key to your nephew, just make sure it is safe and should not be saved in any online third party or any device that could be hacked.  Valuable things like this are always prone to scam.
1645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which upcoming MetaVerse projects would you recommend? on: November 23, 2021, 11:57:46 PM
Trendy metaverse projects right now are DECENTRALAND and SANDBOX.
I tend to agree and yes they are and Sandbox is one of the most very trendy now.

In addition, Enjin Coin also has a good concept IMO.  I have still researched these top 3 metaverse cryptocurrencies and as mentioned above all of them are good and I'm planning into it.  However, this is my personal opinion and not financial advice, you can find your own research if you want and don't rely upon others' opinions.
1646  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Passive vs seasonal trading on: November 23, 2021, 11:49:33 PM
Lately trading have become a such of livelihood for some traders as some have turned to cryptocurrency trading to meet they daily needs and pay their bills, but have been wondering which is more profitable and less stressful since trading is base on quality decision. Should one trade passively or just trade once in a while for both emotional and physical well being.
There's no easy way of making money on trading, so it's expected that you may stressful if you are looking for a passive earning and you can do that in day trading which is I think you can sit and face your computer for a how many hours a day, sounds stressful isn't it?

Long-term trading is less stressful and you can minimize the risk but there's no guarantee that you can earn passively because in long-term trading is most likely you're holding it in a long term.  So, now which one do you prefer?
1647  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Elon calls out CZ over Binance issue; CZ got piqued, went out of context on: November 23, 2021, 11:42:44 PM
He went off topic because he knows it was their mistake. He just doesn't want to admit.
I tend to agree and it says "what happened here" trying to change the topic so that the Doge that has stuck issues a year ago and doesn't become the center of the topic.  I'm not in favor of Elon but I think he is trying to raise the issue because he is also a Doge holder and on behalf of other Dogecoin holders.

I think the word used by Elon Musk "Shady" was triggered by CZ to find another issue towards Elon Musk.  Instead of solving the problem, I      understand why it seems CZ looking for some troubles towards Elon and other Dogecoin holders.
1648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Childrens Wallets on: November 23, 2021, 11:18:10 PM
No, even DEX exchange we dont know when the site becomes shutdown, IMO, isn't a good idea to save your Bitcoin for a long time purpose there.
You can create a paper wallet or a Hardware wallet and here is a [BIG LIST] Hardware wallets (80+), either Ledger or Trezor which are very common to use.

In crypto, we have an important rule to follow in order for your coin to be safe for a long time (Not your key Not your coin), that key means your private key which is you are the only one who controls it and no one will access it.  Saving Bitcoin on exchange isn't a good idea at all.
1649  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A newbie here - can someone advise on a link where I can understand Bitcoin? on: November 23, 2021, 10:51:06 PM
Don't rely upon a single source of information to understand what is Bitcoin, should have at least 3-4 sources so that you can compare which one has told the truth.  There are too many articles now that mislead newbies on having false information, you should always be aware of this.

Everything is on the internet you can simply research it, if you like video tutorials there are hundreds of them on Youtube.  It's very easy now to learn about Blockchain and Bitcoin functions.
1650  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie must read this,, Tips for Choosing Legit Cryptocurrency Assets. on: November 23, 2021, 03:24:26 PM
There are a lot of them that you must consider not these very basic ways of checking the project.   Because IMO, even if they had all you have stated above, once a project that has a motive to scam people, they will abandon the project at the end and that's a type of scamming investors, that's an exit scam.

I think these must be added too.
  • the real use of the project, it should be not redundant from other existing projects
  • use their own blockchain
  • planning to list in a big exchange
1651  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you make money day trading Bitcoin? on: November 23, 2021, 03:08:49 PM
Of course we can earn money from day trading. Moreover, the money that will be obtained also does not have to wait long because the method applied is day trading, where you will trade every day and it does not rule out the possibility that you will get a profit. Compared to you doing long term trading which takes a long time to get money or profit. Especially if you often have a sudden need for day trading, this is right for you.
Both long-term trading and short-term trading have different pros and cons and it has the same goal to earn profit.  However, this will vary to the trader which prefers to choose and which best suits and didn't conflict with other activities.

Day trading is very risky and crucial in making money, there's no guarantee that you will make it in just a day.  The pros of day trading are the fastest means of making money but the cons are, you will become stressed with the volatile market.  Not like long-term trading needs in-depth knowledge so that you can minimize the risk.  For that individual trader who wanted to gamble in a new project and trading, it seems willing to take the high risk and willing to have an amount that can afford to lose.
1652  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador develops further its bitcoin strategy on: November 22, 2021, 11:59:20 PM
Bitcoin City is the flagship tokenised project of a tax free city funded by these 6.5% yielding bonds (currently in the CCC bond territory in my view - Trash debt AKA "High Yield").

I heard the news last night. Just to point out it is not 100% tax free, it will have a 10% VAT tax. Which is not bad at all.
I thought there's no income tax to pay but if that there's 10% VAT tax isn't bad at all which is the result of a small amount to pay.

I wonder how their economy survives with the tax-free implementation and we know taxes are the source of which the economy has developed.

I'd nothing to say but good luck and I hope we saw a better result of this experiment of the El Salvador government.  So that other countries will follow to them and next to be a Bitcoin city.
1653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time Trend or New Reality — NFT & The New World on: November 22, 2021, 11:37:41 PM
Yeah, it's a short-term hype.

It is very common because there's a lot of people who know the value of NFTs project worth it to hold.
NFTs showed a real decentralized project, just because it can't be destroyed and the data should be on the blockchain and the best thing is it's easy to trace the original owner of the collection that you've collected.

And another factor is the NTF play-to-earn games which are very trending now since there's a lot of people staying at home while there's a pandemic and while playing why not if you will earn too.

1655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin City on: November 22, 2021, 11:06:25 PM
This is another history for bitcoin that only El Salvador has the guts to do it.
Yes, they are making a BIG history that they're the first country that adopted Bitcoin and becomes a trade zone.  They're now part of the Bitcoin history that should people know and I think there are few countries that had to follow their steps.

El Salvador trying to improve their economy and even it is a risk to invest in Bitcoin their president and the government already studied this.  Because they are trying to be independent towards using dollars and the country of US as well.  However, many countries were now on eyes with them, it might be followed to them if the result is good which I doubted it is.
1656  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What if Covid 19 broke the 4 year market cycle? on: November 22, 2021, 10:53:58 PM
Well, I don't think there is any chance the market will get broken. I mean, let's be objective since the pandemic started, the crypto market only got more substantial and more popular. I mean, more and more people are interested in crypto, and not only young people but experienced businessmen as well!
Because most of the transactions are getting online now, many started to adopt cryptocurrency and Bitcoin and since during the pandemic we are able to reach the peak I think the cycle continues for good and this pandemic will be remembered as a great start for huge Bitcoin adoption. We’re into correction right now just like a normal cycle but I think after this, we will rise again and since we are still on Pandemic making transactions online are still necessary for a more convenient way.
I tend to agree and not only by that, but we are also in the digital transactions since we don't want a physical contact like using a traditional currency which is fiat.  As I noticed, all digital currencies have been increased usage including cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.  The price was increased because it triggered the pandemic covid-19 which is until now we still using it.

There could be a worst but it's not painful like a few years past because as we can see there are too many adoptions in most countries and a lot of good news happening around us.  So I think pandemic was also the reason it has a wide adoption because of this electronic cash and Bitcoin is one of them.
1657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Education Insurance on: November 21, 2021, 11:58:08 PM
Another part of Bitcoin improvement and we saw day by day that there are different kinds of adoptions such as Bitcoin use a monthly salary, use a pension, use in a charity and now education insurance.  It might they already understand the risk that possibly will happen in the future and that's the reason they used now Bitcoin in any financial aspect.

It will help to spread Bitcoin adoption awareness as well.  Doesn't matter what is the hidden agenda about this program but I think, it will have a benefit to Bitcoin that will surely give a boost to the price grow up.
1658  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Basic trading strategy for newbie to make a profit on: November 21, 2021, 11:44:54 PM
I decided to make a trade.
But I'm really confused how to start the trading so that I can make a profit daily.
Trading isn't easy of what you think that you can surely gain profit daily, there's no assurance for that so I would recommend this for you.  You should be prepared about your capital because anytime it will lose without prior notice.

I need a reference where I can learn about it.
If anyone have a good chanel sugestion for learn in trading crypto, please reply.
There's no specific group or channel but you can find many video tutorials on YouTube.
You can learn here in the forum but not all comments that you have seen were true, support it with research to verify such statements.

I suggest spending more time to gain knowledge in trading and try to research the Etoro exchange platform, they had a copy trading feature which is you can practice it there to gain experience but only the amount that you can afford.
1659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Instant Exchange VS a CEX: Who Wins? on: November 21, 2021, 11:05:05 PM
I have tried this using Coinomi Bitcoin wallet app, as I can advise always look first the fee per before making such transaction.
I think Coinomi has a partnership with Simplex, am I right?
Yeah right, I think most of the trusted exchanges and custodial wallets have been used this Simplex, a licensed financial institution.
As long as you're running centralized services Simplex is very common to use.

Have you tried having experimented with this wallet app what is the result?  How much the fee will have cost if we compared to Binance since they have used 3 different swap exchanges like Changelly, Coinswitch, and Totle.
1660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Instant Exchange VS a CEX: Who Wins? on: November 21, 2021, 03:34:28 PM
If you blindly accept the high terrible fees on instant swap exchange, then that's good for you but if you want to save fees regular crypto exchange is the best for you.  Upon reading the OP thread the thing that comes up in my mind was Binance is a good exchange if we based on the fees but if in the fastest way and also the privacy coin instant swap exchange were reliable enough.

In an instant exchange, there's no leverage, margin, derivative stop loss because the fee is fixed and quite high.  Because the site has earned profit from the fixed fee and that's why in the experiment of OP was right, it's terrible high the fees to use in the instant swap, I have tried this using Coinomi Bitcoin wallet app, as I can advise always look first the fee per before making such transaction.
