Tested positive for Covid.

I'm double jabbed with the vaccine (recently) and caught it off a triple jabbed person. All Pfizer jabs I believe. I don't think these jabs stop much of the spread.

Felt pretty lousy all day. Pretty much like a flu I guess, but I never had much of that ever in the past, maybe once or twice so it's noticeable for sure when this happens.
Thought I was going to be sick in the morning but was alright after light breakfast and Ibuprofen to clear the headache a bit and could carry on sleeping.

Feeling cold - hot - sweating type of sleep but apparently I was snoring my head off eventually.

Slept 15 hours in total and felt somewhat better in the afternoon.

Will see how it goes I guess. Will have another long sleep tonight.

Get well soon! I had Delta back in October (daughter got it from her tennis doubles partner). I was vaccinated by Pfizer x2 so it felt like a mild cold. Other girl's dad approx my age only got Pfizer x1 an he had pneumonia and barely avoided ICU stay.  Roll Eyes

I bet this was ordered to discredit Bukele and Bitcoin. When I see a word combination "non-profit organization" I read CIA (or some other three letter agency) between the lines. It's hard to believe average joe journalists can detect war spyware like Pegasus, identify the person behind it, locate all victims etc. Looks like a job for intelligence guys.  Cool

He's a demagogue and a wannabe dictator. If he wasn't so into Bitcoin he'd be derided here (if anyone even knew who he is) for his actions and policies, from firing Supreme Court judges to inflationary spending to COVID lockdowns. He's a populist and seems to be well liked in El Salvador. But I have little doubt that the spyware story is true.

It most probably is true, but I question the goals and motivation behind this investigation. Also, very suspicious anti-bitcoin, anti-Bukele movement showed up in El Salvador all of a sudden right before the legal tender bill. Luckily, it didn't grow to the scale of riots or civil unrest but was probably sponsored by some external anti-Bitcoin forces.  Cool

Proudhon? Grin

Bingo!  Grin

An opinion piece on CoinDesk
"Nayib Bukele Is Not the Bitcoin Hero We Need"
https://www.coindesk.com/layer2/2022/01/14/nayib-bukele-is-not-the-bitcoin-hero-we-need/

TL;DR Installed Israeli spyware Pegasus on several regime opponents, mainly journalists.
Just like Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia (remember Jamal Khashoggi?) and other citizen-friendly governments.

Any mining expert can disclose how many machines or how much it currently would cost to set up a mining arrangement that produces 126 Terahashes (TH) of mining power?
The Bitmain S19 has 110Th/s

On average if you solo mined with one Bitmain S19 (110TH) you would find a block about once every 30 years (assuming current difficulty stays constant, which it won’t )

Something strange has just happened:

This is a very unlikely event:

What is this?
Incredible luck?
Miners in this pools looking all like solo miners?
A marketing stunt from the pool operators trying to lure miners in their pools?

I guess it is this.
Funnily enough I thought miners being the most rational agents, not easily fooled.
We will see…

News like this can be turned into FUD to scare the noobs. I can almost see the headline: Breaking! Bitcoin Hacked! Hackers Found the Way to Trick the System! Grin

On average if you solo mined with one Bitmain S19 (110TH) you would hit one block about every 30 years (assuming constant difficulty)

In the real number interval [0,1], any specific number has zero probability of being picked (assuming a continuous probability distribution).

Here's one:

0.4895739579579407964907

Hey, I picked it! I'm so lucky, right?

That's what happened to the lucky miner who got 6.25 BTC so soon. It was pure luck. The probability of you and me getting this lucky is practically zero, as was his.

Few understand this.

My L3+ mined a LTC block about a year ago for a pool, at the time it would have taken 435+ days (probability) to solo mine. For $400 worth of power during a probabilistic time period I couldn't chance a solo endeavor. The S19 takes about 4X the power I cannot fathom how one could solo mine with any expected outcome unless they are actually a farm that has 500+ machines.

.... or free electricity?  Cool

Meanwhile, 7% inflation in U.S.

7%? First time since 1982? You have to be totally retarded not to buy BTC now!  Cool

At a glance: we're still missing the last leg.

Agreed, can't see the numbers on that graph properly but I guess it should propel us to something like 200% up?  Cool

Maybe he is the kind of person that is just tired of all the bullshit. Just like we have grown tired of yours.

Thanks, that explains it. So I'm tired of this bullshit so I'll go out and burn some cars, punch my neighbor in the face, print some fake money and try to buy something at my local store?  Grin

And Djoko is a fucking egocentric narcissistic antivaxxer prick. He claimed he had some "condition" preventing him from vaccinating. Big lie! He just had covid in December thats it. Why should he be allowed to compete? Is he special?  Cool

Yes he is, he is immune you idiot.

He can be immune or not. There is a law. Everybody is equal and must comply. Or maybe I can smuggle some weed into Sweden today? I need it for medical reason I swear!  Grin

Because smoking weed and playing tennis is almost the same thing.

Everybody may be equal to the law de jure, but we all now they are not de facto, and furthermore not all laws are equal.

And I also apologize for calling you an idiot, I was grumpy this morning due to pain and boiled over.

Seem to be some doubts about his PCR tests:
