I have not seen this term also. Interested to know which casino this is.  Since this is often used for fiat casinos then it probably is a fiat casino and has just recently adopted BTC.

It's a wonder though what is the difference between the casino to a regular crypto casino? Because they could just remove the terms to avoid confusion.
1662  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Staking really great way in crypto wealth on: May 05, 2023, 10:32:55 PM
Staking when price fall you just buy more and put in to staking once price goes up you don't need to sell it you continue to staking so after u earn more.
The new feature on exchangers the EARN could be one of the best ways to earn income some of them Even no lock up or little as 14 days.
No liquitation risk and you sleep well newbie friendly method..instead of trading off course If you know what you doing trading good Also but staking Are great one.
This will exactly depend on what coins and the amount you are staking. I have ever wanted to try staking on certain platforms. But, with the amount that I have and the period that I want, this is exactly not worth it. For, this is not appropriate for me although I have several amounts for staking, moreover sometimes, certain coins only give small APY. On the other hand, there may be certain platforms that give high APY, but we don't know the reputation and this will be a higher risk for us to stake it for a long time. Moreover, we cannot do anything to coins that we are still staking on, they are not able to sell even if their price keeps going up.

But once more, this is a personal preference. Some people may love staking to wait for long-term investment or holding. But some people prefer to do this. This becomes a personal decision. And everyone has their best decision to take and to do.

The decision is probably because they are willing to wait for a very long time. But I doubt that they won't sell in the bull run though. In the bear market, you can't sit seeing APY is not worth it. Accumulating in a bear market while the price is low is way preferable to waiting again for the price to rise in the bull run. That's another 4 years of waiting while the price keeps falling.

As long as it's achievable and you not wanting to have a unicorn, it can be achieved.

There is a story of a commoner who becomes an emperor which he himself had not even dreamed of until he achieved something and then want more. If your ambitions are unlocked after achieving a simple dream, you can be whatever you may want to be.
1664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling or gaming sites on: May 05, 2023, 09:35:38 PM
Found out that Gamingvault years ago where they were in a documentary where gamers are gambling. Surprisingly they are also using cryptocurrency. Gamers are now into it, they are bidding on Skins and gambling cryptocurrency as well.

Seem not a very different path for crypto adoption, just as we are gambling in sports and online casinos, they are just enjoying their games and buying game stuff.
1665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: May 05, 2023, 09:14:43 PM

Chat GTP can only provide us with what is available for analysis and computations. It is not capable of reading specific people's minds and emotions in predicting the future based on fantasies. In a poker game, Chat GPT can only provide you the chances of winning your cards based on what is seen on the deck and its remaining cards.

So it's like a better version of a scientific calculator because it saves you time and effort from memorizing and making calculations based on your mind which is not that easy. Maybe in the future, a robot can read people's expressions and gestures that might help assess if they are worried and or comfortable with their cards.
Chat GTP is vital for students, and they made full use of it. Computer science students utilized it to repair code bugs, while other students used it to improve their essay writing skills and pose needless questions that required irrelevant answers. Chat GTP has surpassed other social media platforms; I found it useful in so many ways, but it's also detrimental since students will currently wake up and give chat GTP instructions on what happens next in the house. Saving and instructing chat GTP on online tasks to complete within a few seconds or minutes can completely stimulate their laziness and relenting in their activities as students and children.

I agree although we cannot deny the fact that generally speaking, Chat GPT is a big help not just to students. Very busy people can save time and effort due to Chat GPT. It might cause laziness to some people, especially to the next generation but they can always divert the time they save to other activities that makes them productive. The future will become more futuristic because basic stuff like doing research is becoming easier.

Chat GPT brings a lot to the table but at least online poker gambling is still competitive as it is. It might help someone to have an easier time making calculations but that is all this AI can bring. There is still zero chance of knowing the cards of its competitors and those that are in the deck.

Many developers are already using AI and ChatGPT for the apps they are developing. Quite a development for sure that can be used in many industries, the new generation will really find the bots useful even in gambling.

But AIs used in online poker will not be good for it will only make users distrust casinos that allow the AIs. By then as people suspect every player uses AI, they will only play poker on the real casino on the table. Just like what happened in online Chess where players can not be sure if they are playing against a bot.

Cejudo vs Aljo is a good match but I don't think it's easy for Cejudo to win. He is strong when standing so Aljo will take Cejudo down to the ground.
Burns really is tested over and over last and this year and sometimes at very short notice. He is exciting to watch but this could also end Burns being taken down to the ground by Belal. Just betting on the two, Aljo and Belal.
1667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Montana bitcoin enthusiasts are now protected by the law. on: May 05, 2023, 08:10:55 PM

But what about the environmental effect, they sure know that Bitcoin mining ruins nature.  This is not gonna be good.  Cheesy

There are a lot of states slowly getting into it, Mississippi & Missouri lawmakers propose laws protecting bitcoin mining.

And with that, perhaps we can consider this states pro-bitcoin too. But then again, it's about the cost of electricity that will be the big factor here. If they can keep it cheap and low cost then maybe it's going to boom and it's good that they have this kind of laws. So let's see who's next and how it will affect not just mining but bitcoin is general in states as the Biden government wanted 30% tax on crypto miners.

Miners will find a way to make free electricity that's for sure. Whenever people learn they can make money by generating electricity, anything in mind like that perpetual movement will be tried just to try. Once government applies this law in many cities, they wouldn't mind that 30%, they will use rivers and wind for free electricity.
1668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 2 questions that bother me on: May 05, 2023, 07:31:18 PM

Whenever the market opens and there is a buy order, the price of that buy order is also the current price. I think it's not up to someone but the market determines the price.

If the price is pumping, I don't see any wrong in buying as long as you can also dump when it's necessary also. Tokens that are launched in the bull run season usually pump, it should be good.
1669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin doesn't give you instant 100 percent profits on: May 04, 2023, 10:32:51 PM

They are likely have no experience yet in crypto. Its a normal question for those who want to make money as they are exposed to some influencers who introduced BTC as get rich quick and they are also short term investors. The result of being naive somehow, wait til they hit the bear market in 2026, they will call BTC a scam.

1670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting Rid of the One, Major, Cryptocurrency Problem Remaining on: May 04, 2023, 09:34:39 PM
3. Since we can trust the programming, and since it is open source, make the blockchain totals - coins created and current amount of coins mined - invisible to everyone; trust the programming. This goes for everyone including the miners.

This will not help users trust the coin. We have seen so much users on top of the richlist that gobbled more than they could shallow. Turned out to be scam.

We all want to avoid Warren's bill and so is the wallet developers. They still couldn't force any wallet company to register, all they will need is move out of the US. The expense is lesser than the loss if they allow Warren to win.
1671  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Staking really great way in crypto wealth on: May 04, 2023, 09:22:39 PM
unfortunately these staking are those who are very patient in reaping profits. Real staking usually takes quite a long time and a lot of capital for moderate profits. well, if it is to fight an unstable market staking is the best option. I recommend not staking on new websites or on high APY as they have a short life to invest.

As usual you benefit more when you bought your tokens at the very early stage of the project where the price is just cents that even after the bull run, you still can see its profiting and you won't be scratching your head regretting you should have sold while the price was high.

Those who bought Cardano (ADA) while the price was just $0.02 enjoys it still while those who bought at $3 are quitting before it even dip to $2. That's the lesson to learn every time a bull market is about to end.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: May 04, 2023, 09:10:07 PM
^

It seems to me that this man's behavior cannot be justified, no matter what nation or creed he may belong to. You can't blame his environment for his gambling addiction to this extent. We make the world around us, and if he wanted to, he was not surrounded by gambling, but by walking in the park with his granddaughter. He chose to gamble and brought himself to what I would call an inadequate state.

Try to keep an eye on your relatives because such stories can happen to anyone.

Family members could have seen it coming but not this kidnapping. The grandpa must have show signs of his addiction and probably ask money to babysit the kid for awhile. Thinking he could gamble after getting his fee all the time. Its not so far fetch to think can't wait to get back to his usual gambling spree so he just ask for ransom as its the same as winning a lumpsum.
1673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There are many advantages to the relationship between gambling and Bitcoin. on: May 04, 2023, 08:59:22 PM
I do not know if there are actually any of the advantages that you are talking about. Most of the casinos ask for KYC details...so that destroys all pseudo anonymity that Crypto currencies supported.

People could care less about decentralization....and most casinos are not decentralized, so I doubt if that has any advantages for the gamblers. The casinos that are decentralized are scarce and a lot of them are illegal, so I do not use them.  Undecided
Privacy has never been the issue lately, but certainly it’s all about its legitimacy and not being rigged. Though there are still those who offer KYC-free casinos if you gamble in grey areas, but most of them are illegal and have no provably fair system that we can rely on. That’s why I’m no longer much excited with decentralized casinos these days, as KYC has become the norm and people are actually complying in it.

Gamblers comply for there seem to be no choice and they don't want to be scammed by casinos that are already scamming. Once there are options, they will be moving to the casino that is not asking KYC but the reputation still is more important to them.

One essential advantage that a gambler can see in using BTC is that BTC price goes up all the time. They are not just gamblers but also investors of BTC. Whenever there is an opportunity to accumulate, its going to be taken.

1674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: May 04, 2023, 08:44:24 PM

To prevent telegram users from adding you to a group, you can follow this tutorial on How to prevent users in adding you to groups. Its common for users to add people especially because they have the motive to promote to anyone.

Bounty campaigns use to pay a lot when tokens can be easily added on exchanges but since 2020, exchanges are not adding them when they see, the project is just something that has no value.
1675  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why Opening an Account in a Bitcoin Sportsbook is the Future of Sports Betting on: May 04, 2023, 08:27:27 PM

You won't need to convince anyone to register an account on Crypto bookies especially if you post it in this forum. The question is if the Sportsbook can be trusted.

In fairness to this marketing guy of Nitro betting casino, He is still following the forum rules by not promoting the specific casino he came from and just use a recycled gambling facts to attract user on engaging the topic for his name visibility which in this case the casino itself. This is almost a perfect plan for marketing if he only wears signature code and engage with the discussion of the community to prolong the activity here rather than opening separate topic every week with same purpose of describing the advantage of bitcoin sportsbook.
^Or probably the OP wanted only to share his thought about sportsbooks using BTC. If OP aggressively wanted to promote his gambling casino for sure he wear also a signature under his profile but he is not. He is talking in general about the sportsbook and does not mention any name on it. We have here different sportsbooks to use which we prefer. But if he is repeatedly posting the same topic, that is spamming and should be against the forum rules.

He is careful in making posts and buying time to make topics that may possibly rank on top when searching in the forum. As for him not wearing the signature while he already can may change one day. Of course everybody who has business will want to promote his business. But I could be wrong in all these. Nitro though had known to users, its been on the list of casinos which it doesn't need an obvious spam.
1676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: May 04, 2023, 08:10:41 PM
as we know, many people suggest investing in bitcoin because the risk is not too high.
but if we look at the market there are lots of people buying altcoins, and to be honest I also like to buy altcoins but there aren't many of them, and it's still my biggest investment in bitcoin. and to be honest even though investing in altcoins is risky but I always want to buy and the reason is because of the high pumping..
and I want to ask everyone what is your  for buying altcoins, is the reason the same as mine?
In my case, the explanation is simple – the desire to get a quick profit. Only a couple of projects were interested. But investments in them just brought nothing.

Definitely the case when people sees how much money a regular person profit after having billions of SHIb with just less than $50 and then made it 10x, its a pipe dream come true. Another example of this was the users who has PEPE coins just weeks ago.

Countless of users made a tron of money since 2017 bull run. Some of us just got it from bounty campaigns. And because it was spread on social media, the hopefuls are investing.

1677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another side of Sports betting you may not know about on: May 03, 2023, 11:17:42 PM
My guess is that they've affected the other teams moral and somehow lost thier appetite to win when they learned Jameson and the NFL gangs bet for the other team. They were like influencers that acted like a bookie who identifies which team could win.

I'm not sure if this is what the congress mean when they say potential harm posed sports betting. We all know there always is an underdog, the other team should just take it as challenge. Its sure the Congress means gambling addiction or kids exposure to gambling.
1678  Economy / Economics / Re: 2023: What money lessons have you learned so far? on: May 03, 2023, 10:58:06 PM

Having a job is very neccesary even when you have a business because you can't just rely all expenses coming from the earnings you get from the business. With the current economic situation, any business can go bankcrupt when crisis are not making people avail services.

One reality that I have learned in Covid is that even family/relatives will treat you bad when you don't have money.
1679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop comparing BTC to FIAT. FIAT is dying every single day. on: May 03, 2023, 05:51:36 PM

Selling only when you need I think is a bad idea. While you hit it, you may just be selling to profit and make more. Take it as a mission. Just like the traders who treat trading as a business, you may just accumulate BTC as well when opportunity knocks.

The time when the price goes to the moon every time. Sell BTC and wait for the price to dip to its bottom. It makes sense because if you have the ambition to make it in life, you will bear those suffering in order to make money by waiting for bull run.
1680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we should play on minor gambling platform? on: May 03, 2023, 05:40:27 PM
in my opinion the risk of giving your identity to a new casino or to a stabilished one is not so different
in both cases you should consider it lost in a way that you possibly won't be able to know if your documents were deleted after verification or not
both risk

though there aren't many casinos without KYC nowadays, right?
It's different, giving your identity documents and personal information to a new casino is not the same as giving them to an established and trusted casino platform since there is basically no reputation nor trust for the new platform and your documents can be used in a bad way where an established platform is more likely to keep them safe.

In very rare cases, a trusted and reputable casino might misuse their collected users' information and break the trust of the community but that doesn't happen all the time since it will compromise their reputation and that isn't good for their business.

When it comes to your personal data and KYC documents, the established and new casinos are not so different. They both can sell your data to a 3rd party without our knowledge of course. You may doubt that big companies will not do that but even Google is using our data for the advertising network they have.

You already have a leak data you have, don't add the data you send to the tiny new casino. Why we shouldn't play on a minor platform is to secure your funds.
