661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: September 20, 2023, 04:33:33 PM
It wouldn't be surprising if the kid already has been on the website you have tried playing. Once they see you doing such a thing, it's already in their mind and they may even use it as a reason to do the same. They wouldn't even ask you for anything, they can figure it out themselves. Youth today are more tech-savvy, they may even be gambling inside the games they play on their phone even when it's not a gambling site. Kids find their ways to also do what their parents do.
662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the drive that makes women go into gambling? on: September 20, 2023, 04:00:13 PM
I think for many women some of the few reasons they go into gambling, is that gambling provides them with the opportunity to be sociable and enjoy time with friends and also use it to escape boredom loneliness or even stress, excitement is also part of the reasons why women goes into gambling the sense of winning creates an additional anticipation of something bigger having the spotlight on you as a winner can make you feel good even for a brief moment. This has eventually turn into frequent trips or long session in gambling.

Loneliness must be one. I have lived with my aunt for more than a year and their neighbors told me, she wasn't a gambler at all until her husband sailed to the sea for years. The husband occasionally calls her but that's just it. After hearing so many tales about what sailors do when they dock at a port, they do stuff like take a girl to their cabin.

I think that really got into her and so she tried entertaining herself in some resorts and found friends who are gamblers. Yep, she is well-known in nearby casinos.
663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No KYC vs KYC enabled casinos (Facts you need to know) on: September 20, 2023, 01:35:03 AM

More users will believe no KYC casinos are better which they would prefer using than the ones asking no KYC.  KYC casinos are still the top casinos though.

Somebodys gotta list the disadvantages for both classification to see how much users dislikes which. In reality, KYC casinos are still the ones we go to because decentralized casinos are no way guaranteeing security.
664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel when you look at your first Bitcoin wallet? on: September 20, 2023, 12:41:43 AM

Thats probably the most of us are feeling. I haven't look at it since 2017.  I just look at it now and it felt like this could have a lot of coins if I just did the right thing during my first experience of bullrun. I was unaware that bear market could actually drain the price down. If I was just aware, I would have coverted all to stablecoin.
665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zhang Vs Joyce II WBO Interim World Heavyweight Championship on: September 19, 2023, 02:53:50 PM
This fight is just four days away, and I'm quite surprised that 85% of the poll voters here believe that Zhang will once again win via KO. Judging by the odds, it's a close fight, and given that both boxers are KO artists, it's unlikely to go the full 12 rounds. It would be a nice redemption story if Joyce can come through and potentially set up a trilogy, ensuring that his career doesn't falter after a promising start.

If he learned from the previous fight. He gotta work out his head movement, it becomes an easy target for Zhang. HW guys can shock a cow even when it's a slowmo punch. He wasn't very defensive, he ate the jabs with a warm welcome but of course, it was all because of his right eye.

By the 1st round, we can already determine who will. If Zhang still wins this fight, he must deserve a title shot. How crazy would that sound that a Chinese HW becomes a champion in WBO? Only in this era.
666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 19, 2023, 02:05:01 PM
Just a little return to past fights - I remember people were talking about Strickland vs Adesanya rematch, and talked that this gonna happen soon, because of Adesanya past achievement, and they probably think that Strickland does not deserve that belt. I would suggest that Shevchenko and Grasso should make as soon as possible a rematch and end their trilogy once and for all. Imho that fight really deserves an immediate rematch more than any of fights this year.

I also have heard that people are saying Strickland does not deserve to have their belt. But I don't know about that. He was able to win against Israel Adesanya because he definitely deserved to win. Remember, past achievements, do not mean anything if you cannot win the fight that you have in hand. You can have a good past. But if you cannot perform in the present, no one is going to judge you based on your fast, especially after you lose.

I also agree that Shevchenko and Grasso need to fight against each other. I do not follow women’s fights in UFC to match, but this is something I am interested in.

The majority of the observers were rooting for Izzy which seemed like Strickland was fed to a lion. He knew it, Dana wanted him to lose too and I bet he also didn't expect Izzy to lose. So he just makes fun of that belt, you can see how he fixed it lol it's like the belt they are after is nothing to him. If Izzy and Sean will have a rematch, Izzy might have to improve his wrestling.

Shevchenko and Grasso have learned a lot from each other, it will be more challenging for both to fight again. It's a race against time for Shevchenko though. If it takes another year or 2, this will be depressing for her.
667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [QUESTION] Which EU countries are friendly for overseas online betting? on: September 19, 2023, 01:52:57 PM
Is it worth migrating than using the crypto casinos that don't block you from where you are?

So much is to be factored if I were to move there but it must vary to each of us. bet365 is just one casino, I have no idea how special this casino but I'm sure what they offer is also offered in many casinos in crypto. I'm sure the sports there are also found on Stake.com.

If I had to move there to EU myself, I'd probably just choose the cheapest country to live in. Pretty sure not a single country banned crypto casino.
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: May I ask, how can I securely store USDT? on: September 19, 2023, 01:49:26 AM

You can store them safely unless you put your stablecoin in DAI. You'll never what could SEC's regulation would approved. There are instances that USDT was frozen in a wallet.

DAI must be the answer although decentralization in ETH network is constantly questioned. Since there possibilities of nightmares to happen just allocate certain percentage of how much to keep on exchanges and on your private wallet.

UFC Fight Night: Fiziev vs. Gamrot

Yay! Finally a really exciting fight, almost guaranteed not to be boring. I'm heavily biased on this one as Gamrot is my compatriot and I like his character, but I think, objectively, he has what it takes to defeat Fiziev. Gamrot likes fighting in Las Vegas, he fought and won 5 times there, his wrestling is obviously superior to Fiziev's and he's experienced enough to withstand the pressure.
It's an important fight for both of them, winning this one will open the door to fight guys from the top 5, meaning big money fights.

They are both smart fighters but I think Fiziev is more well rounded. If Gamrot even bring this fight to the ground, he will struggle to keep up while Fiziev dominate the fight to which Gamrot would better prefer foot on the ground.

UFC is giving Gamrot a slow climb to the title shot but if he could beat Fiziev, he might just get the shot he needed.

I could only see this fight turn out to be boxing and Fiziev being the fast KOs Gamrot.
670  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: September 19, 2023, 01:07:11 AM
Not secret but not broadcast either, its nobodys business but your own really much like many activities.   IF you mean secret from your family especially your wife who you split finances from then yea I would prefer not to have to do that but I understand if many people do avoid that aggravation if its not really needed to do.   The only real reason you have to disclose gambling is when you fail to control or  balance your finances then likely its problem for you and everyone around you unfortunately.
True, the worst problem you can encounter is getting addicted to gambling and losing a lot of money because of it which can lead to real trouble. IMO the best thing to do is to be open with your family and your tell about your gambling activities and you shouldn't hide it. Things tend to get worse when you hide such stuffs like that and if they find out, it can lead to a lot of troubles, sometimes even resulting in divorce or major problems within your family.

Of course when you defaulted utility bills, its definitely time to pause and think through. But as long as you manages to make it and you spend the money that your wife has allocated for you, there is no need for her to know how you spend the money or your gambling activity.

Wives talk to other wives. They even talk how big your dick is. So your habit is just another that will make them despise you.
671  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: September 19, 2023, 01:00:56 AM

Its not a violation to thr rules in the forum if you share the link. Just let the people know which one are you talking about winc eyou already send out the warning.

Not allowing users to withdraw unless KYC is submitted had been going on since. But allowing the banned countries is very sketchy to begin with.
672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Stevenson vs De Los Santos - Nov 16 on: September 18, 2023, 06:35:00 PM

Shakur is a top-level which many had turned down fighting him, even Loma and Isaac Cruz but I think DLS can handle him. Though Santos can hurt with just jabs, he hasn't fought someone with skills like Shakur.

De Los Santos is younger with 1 loss, so losing another isn't as frightening as the first for him. He's got his run though but Shakur could stop him from picking up while he is still trying to climb up.
Its too unprofessional for some backer to back-out especially if there’s already a schedule of the fight, well if they are afraid of Shakur then better not to accept the offer in the place this. Anyway, this is still a good replacement and yes De Los Santos can bring a good fight with Shakur, there might be problem with his strategy of fighting, there’s still time to prepare though. Still looking for Shakur here to win the match, he’s really a good fighter.

It's all verbal if I'm not mistaken, when it was announced that a Martin vs Shakur was reach, there is no sign agreement yet, but just say Yes without any contract.
I'm not defending Martin, but there are boxers as well who ducked and for sure it will put a stigma on them, just like what Martin name is right now, synonyms of avoiding or ducking Shakur.

Few boxers nowadays are willing to face opponents as long as they meet the weight requirements. Most of them have become more strategic, understanding that a loss can significantly hinder their future goals. They carefully choose their opponents. In Martin's case, he likely realizes that his chances against Shakur are very slim. He cannot afford to take that gamble, so perhaps he understands that it's not yet the right time. He doesn't want his career to end prematurely.

They have their reasons, mostly ducking and afraid of losing but there is more to it. Or there's the discussion about the cut.  Champs are also picking who to fight so it's pretty common to refuse if they are not mandated. Martin is a better contender than Santos imo. It's a wonder he hasn't gotten a belt yet.

For the sake of providing entertainment at his expense, just give a salute to Santos and his brave soul. This is going to be a dominated fight showing off the agility of Shakur.
673  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: September 18, 2023, 04:16:28 PM
Indeed, more gamblers who initially kept their gambling activities secret were revealed after their finances started to get messy and involved people around them. It's like borrowing from friends and family just to gamble with the assumption that it will pay off when you get a monthly salary or win from gambling.
and of course it will disrupt the family's finances. and it would be very bad if such gambling activities continued. forcing yourself to continue playing even though you have run out of capital.

In fact, it's also a good idea for the family to know about the gambling activities we do. at least our wife. So there is a clear allocation of money for household needs and also for playing at the casino. Maybe when we provide good understanding, family can actually be a control so that we don't lose too much beyond the limits of our abilities.
That's right, an addicted gambler will do anything to be able to gamble, I once saw an addict who looked very anxious and confused, financially he was previously well off and his family looked happy. However, the more I got here, I started to think that he was an addict because what I saw before was now the opposite, his family was also feeling the impact. And it can be concluded that it is very terrible if someone is addicted without realizing it, he will lose all his possessions and this can cause problems for himself and his family.
The impacts experienced by gambling addicts will be felt by those closest to them or their families. Therefore, if they have gambling activities, they should talk to the people closest to them to find out about it and help control their finances. If the person is married, he can control his finances because he has a wife/husband who will help him so he doesn't experience gambling problems. But it's a different story if the husband/wife finally sees that gambling is fun and joins in gambling too. That will cause big problems for the household because they might get involved in a serious gambling addiction without self-control. So if someone can control himself and knows his limits, he can hide his gambling activities from others. But if not, he can talk to other people about his gambling activities and ask for help to control his gambling activities.

So now even his family is judging him.

Of all the people in the world who you think will not look at your faults will not see you with disappointment. Let's say they (the family) audit the amount you lost in gambling because after all, they know you are playing all the time. They may think right now that, you could have bought a Tesla car with the amount instead of just playing.  Grin

Now they may visit your apartment from time to time checking you whether you play as to not let them know you gambling habits.

674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When the fun stops on: September 18, 2023, 03:38:08 PM
You obviously won't be entertained when you lose money and when you lose all your capital, that's when the fun stops.

For the users in the forum who promote casinos, taking a break would mean losing opportunities as well. There is more to continuously playing than taking a break. For me, I think I'm about to make a big win and I can also feel there will be a sharp spike in prices, the economy will get better so it's a happy times already.
675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 18, 2023, 03:38:08 AM

I was really confused about the result surely Shevchenko also did a great job in getting those takedowns and those heavy hits she even got 1 round for herself but I am not really an expert in analyzing the fight but for sure it was really a close one and they say that Mike Bell had a controversial judging because he gave a 10 - 8  score on the 5th round for Alexa Grasso but if he gives a 10 - 9 score the championship belt will definitely go to Valentina Shevchenko for sure Shevchenko will have another complaint about the result and she should have won the fight but for sure that sparring with guys are real for Shevchenko  because she got a pretty muscular physique right now,
The judging was shady and there should be some sort of investigation into how they scored the bout as there is no way Alexa Grasso is winning the 5th round 10 - 8 and if not for that stupid judging decision Valentina Shevchenko would have retained the title. Now the UFC needs to reschedule the fight once again as it was a really close fight and i was surprised with the striking of Alexa Grasso and overall it is one of the best fights in Women MMA.

I very much agree and also like Valentina Shevchenko's argument, this draw was given to her because it was a special Mexican holiday. They do not want to disappoint the Mexican fans hehehe. Also, how powerful is the Mexican cartel in Las Vegas?

I would agree on the split decision, however, it should be a split decision for Shevchenko. The corruption appears to be starting in the UFC also.

I think it happens most of the time. A champ can request a fight to be in his country and most of the time the judges sccores him favorably.

A more disappoiting fight was Kevin vs Maddalena, he was just shitting around and making it funny while his ass literally kicked. He isn't even trying to win. I bet he'd also raise his hand giving a thumbs up while getting choked.

676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not banned, yet not accepted on: September 18, 2023, 03:06:40 AM

Banks in 3rd world countries are often working late when it comes to adoption. Banks in my country does allow paypal to be connected to our accounts but Paypal is not widely adopted in my country. When people make transactions its still bank to bank or cash.

BTC may not be banned but still not wide adopted. I don't think BTC is even widely used in the first world countries. Its mostly to people with money and acess to financial investments.
677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Experience for new and old gambler? on: September 18, 2023, 02:58:06 AM
Depends. I think it's easier to break with gambling addiction for old-school gamblers because there are so many things to do that will keep us busy. Today, we can work at home, get a helper, laundries are easier, cooking is way faster, we can also just get a food delivery to avoid cooking, and more equipment that makes life easier so we have lots of time to gamble. So, I think the era today where we use online gambling is more prone to addiction than it was before. A husband doesn't even need to make it a secret anymore because he can do it at home, no more sneaking out at night just to gamble, all he needs is a computer/phone and internet access, and voila, he can play.
Also, because of the wide range of games today like slots, poker, blackjack, roulette, etc.... getting bored in gambling is non-existent as long as you have money.

Thats for a bachelor who has no responsibilities and just sleep and work.
But that seem to be an excuse to gamble when there are lots of responsibilities especially for a family man.

If one gets addicted already either he is a single or have a family, its gonna be hard whichever he is. So before that ever happens, someone has to intervene like the father or the son. It would be awful for him.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ads for online gambling should be banned. on: September 17, 2023, 07:47:01 PM
https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2023/jun/28/ads-for-online-gambling-should-be-banned-in-australia-within-three-years-inquiry-recommends

If this should be implemented will it affect bitcointalk casinos? As we all know most established and new casinos come to bitcointalk to launch their ANN thread and carry out signature promotion campaigns which can be regarded as ads in a sense. If ads should be banned will their promotion in Bitcointalk also end?

Australian laws should have no effect on a global forum. I don't see how they can enforce this in their country without resorting to widespread censorship of the internet. Gambling ads are everywhere. Maybe they will just ban gambling entirely, that way even if a user clicks on an ad or visits a casino site after watching a video ad the domain will be blocked by their ISP.

I’m sure they would just follow Canada’s lead and start censoring websites from their citizens. It’s pretty crazy that this is happening to be honest but at least people still have the option to use VPNs for now. I’m sure someday in the not too distant future these countries will start making VPN use illegal.

Few people can access casinos then. It is time these casinos also will find ways to start having a version of their site for each country like Stake.ca Yep Stake has it ready I guess they are seeing it happening already.  It must be a premium domain to buy.

Australia was the first and then Canada. It's somewhat easier to track gamblers and crypto users if each country will be doing it this way. Stake seems to be ready to comply.
679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keeping or recovering seed phrases during or after a natural disaster. on: September 17, 2023, 06:55:10 PM
Hardware wallets, notes written on paper, seeds stored in special safes at home. You can lose all this very quickly due to natural disasters. The only thing you can do is to increase the storage space. If you have houses in different cities or if your parents live there, you can store your seeds there or you can do the healthiest thing and rent physical safes in banks and distribute your seeds to your safes in banks in more than one city. I never thought i would use banks in this way for security reasons Smiley

But with the recent disasters we have experienced, we may think that the best thing would be to divide the seeds and distribute them to different places rather than storing them in one place. The safest method i can think of is to store the seeds in bank vaults in different cities and store them in more than one place rather than in one place.
Depends on how you store them. You can't really lose it if you store it carefully. If you write it on a piece of paper and store it at your house, yes there is a good chance that you could lose it with a natural disaster, like floods would take it away and you will never have access to it.

But, if you could end up putting it in a few different places, far apart from each other, that would be a lot better for you without a doubt. I get that it is not going to be something that would be easy to handle, but you just have to handle it a bit differently. I get that it is going to be something that we can care on the long run, hopefully it will be doing something that would make sense if you could do it that way.

These disasters are alarming. Conspiracy theorists are up to make several stories about it. It's very believable especially when Oprah hired his own firefighters before the fire started.  Grin

We'd likely have a safer seed if we do it this way. Sort of a redundant way but keep the paper in a tight container, no water can get in.
I live in the lower area where food could strike any moment actually so I shared my seed with my sister who lives on top of the mountain. I just hope she won't spend it all or lose the seed she kept for me. If I die from any disaster, it's hers.

680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free spins are also a demo in disguise? on: September 17, 2023, 06:00:49 PM
Are there really free slots? In a way, yes. Things get tricky here, though. There are a lot of websites that give these free spins as a promotion, or "bait." I don't think the "free" spins are always rigged, but I do think they are controlled some.

The similar results you and your friends got? I wasn't surprised at all. It's been seen too many times. Even though the results aren't really demos, they're often meant to give you a taste of what's to come without actually serving it. Yes, they usually ask for a tip before you can bet. It's a sneaky way for them to keep you locked up. After all, casinos would go out of business very quickly if free spins were really that good. Remember that the house wants your money more than you do.

Betfury roulette spin if you have tried it is rigged. It always lands on the token that has no value at all. There couldn't be more rigged than that. The token is just there to make you believe you can play on their casino and you lose nothing if those FUNFURY tokens are the ones you are going to use. I think the free spin promo was over though, the last time I checked.

But I guess it made me go there to try out the demo in order to experience the feel of their casino. If any felt lucky, maybe there are good signups and depositors in the casino so they have lured well.
