861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: finally achieved $1,000,000 goal (kind of) on: August 22, 2023, 03:11:48 PM
He'd been doing it for weeks already, the last time as far as I know he also lost and he was also asking someone to bet an amount for him.  Crazy high roller but definitely the casino likes him.
It's not impossible to get that $1M but I wonder how much he had lost actually I remember more of his threads in the past where he also lost more than $500K.

Definitely, the dude has tons of money for his sports betting. If I were him I would actually go offline and enjoy for some time and move from online to offline. Stretch a bit to get a better view and not so fixated on this $1M goal.
862  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 21, 2023, 06:07:53 PM

~snip
For some people, they prefer to be known as a gambler, and for others they would not want their habits to be known by others, or even their own family. I say this based on what I have seen, they are proud of their gambling, and some are secretive. There will be many reasons why they don't want to be known as a person who gambles, one of which is the environment in which they live. We know that nowadays not all countries legalize gambling, even gambling is legal but there are designated places.

I think it will come back to their own personality, whether they are comfortable with being open or more comfortable when they are closed.
When a gambler loses a gamble, he does not want to let anyone know about his gambling and not even his family members.  But when a gambler wins big by gambling, he happily tells people about his gambling. and told this to his family.  And at that time almost everyone accepted him, and did not look down on his gambling. this is because he has money and is financially strong enough. So for someone who is financially strong, bad things become a normal thing for him. How people perceive your bad habits depends on your financial status
I have a friend that is doing the opposite of this LOL. For context, his family and friends knows that he plays casino and he has a stable source of income, he said that no one care about him for doing gambling.

He told me a story about himself that he don't want people to know that he has some money that he won from doing gambling that's why he decided to always show to people that he always lose his money on casinos where the fact is he is bagging cash in his account from doing gambling. He told me that he hates people coming to him because of his money and asking some of it. Maybe he has some bad experience of sharing his gambling money to other people because people knows he win from a casino and it's an easy money.

He's not an addict, I tell you and he has some stable income. The conclusion is we have different scenarios and flaunting it or hiding it to the public is somehow a personal decision that we all decide depending on our situation.
Gambling money is really easy money. Because here no one has to work hard only to stake money against some result. but there are many risks that not everyone can afford. many people are very lucky due to which they can achieve great things from gambling and seeing them, others are also attracted to gambling and dream of making easy money by jumping into gambling. This is how the gambling issue is spreading among everyone. and not everyone is able to keep gambling a secret because gambling is now considered a common thing by everyone

You mean the moment the guy is already addicted to gambling as he was caught by his wife engaging in such activity, it's a bit late already?
Yep that's a bad sign and the more disappointed the wife will be if his money was just wasted in gambling while their son stays in the library while the rest of his class eats in recess. Sad sight but it happens.

It's gonna be harder for the gambler to keep it a secret when that time comes. Some people even reveal it to their family when they finally earn a life-changing jackpot. That's not a disappointing sight but will the family condemn it?

863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: August 21, 2023, 05:22:43 PM

The only reason why the activity is legalized is because they wanna regulate it too.

There should be someone out there a fan of cockfighting to develop a casino for crypto. He just needs to partner up with those existing cockfighting platforms and he is good to making a living. Vietnam has a huge population of crypto users AFAIK, I've seen Netflix series where the casts are using ETH to make transactions. Even just dominating this cockfighting website in one country, he will definitely make a lot of money and the government is not hunting these websites to the grave.
864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos games are not made by the casino teams but... on: August 21, 2023, 04:52:27 PM

There are casinos that consult the 3rd party game developer when they see the user earned from one game and wanted to withdraw instantly. The casino still sees the game developer as responsible for finding out whether the user had cheated his way to make a fortune.

In case the 3rd party game developer says the users did cheat, the casino will more likely not allow the funds to be withdrawn but allow the user to only withdraw what he had deposited. I think this situation already happened.

And there's only 100,000,000 as max supply. You're 2M shy, damn it why not mine them all?  Give them all to the president of our Sovereign government nation!  We're loyal to the supreme government nation so we could colonize space.

866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: History of Gambling From Ancient Times to the Digital Age on: August 21, 2023, 04:15:15 PM
~
I like to reason that the history of gambling is different for every side of the world, and the writers of the this history that you have shared only have knowledge of the side of the world they were and not every side, so gambling history is different. Gambling started in different forms for people, all trying to win something of value to them, not necessarily money.

There is no fixed history to me about the history of gambling.

Recorded history should be rewritten if there are discoveries but are not for it will also change a lot of things. If OP says it starts in Mesopotamia and China, then it's just limited to their recorded history. For all we know there are more ancient civilizations than Persia or China since there are new discoveries found in carved stones.

It probably didn't start with money like he said and people only barter during that time. One person who wants to eat a banana but doesn't have something to barter will likely just dare the merchant for the banana which is kind of a gambling still.
867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 21, 2023, 03:54:59 PM

O'Malley made it look way too easy. He also managed to escape a takedown attempt quite effortlessly, which is something. It seemed like Sterling got a little bit too cocky by connecting with the left jab and got careless and rushed too hard. He didn't do his homework as everybody knows O'Malley is a great counter striker.
I wish I had taken my own advice and put money on Sean, he was definitely underrated by bookies in this one and in his fight against Yan, but I think it's fair to say he passed his test and deserves more respect.

I was really surprised by what have happen and I admit that I don't like O'Malley and I don't like him to win this match but surely he got pretty much good from his previous fights for sure and in this fight, he really made it too easy for sure and I really don't like that because O'Malley has stopped the takedowns of Aljamain Sterling in this fight that means all takedowns is now voided it was shocking that there is something that is not right in this fight as it looks like Aljomain Sterling is now giving Merab Dvalishvili an opportunity to beat Sean O'Malley because his friend doesn't want to fight him he is giving the fight to him, just my theory and as many said the fight looks to easy,

Yep some are quick to say it's an early stoppage but definitely see Aljo not going to last with the coming fist pound. The ref had to step in or it will be humiliating to see Aljo flat on the ground.

It's quite coincident when he talked about how Aldo Jose hastily going for Conor was a mistake but that mistake also resembles what he did. He took time though but it was also an accurate counter that brought him down.

For me, it looks like an early stoppage but for sure it was a good one and the referees are just doing their job for sure, so it is a good stoppage in my opinion, this is the difference in boxing where the referee will save the fighter early if necessarily so no further damage or a serious concussion is prevented,

The bombs dropped on Sterling are just not bearable. His head bounced several times, he couldn't even stand to protest. When they see he didn't protect himself, they understood it's the end already. If the rules say we wait til a fighter is flat out, the majority of the fighters in UFC will not live long. Sterling be grateful to that referee or it would have been more slashes on his face and he might end up with a brain hemorrhage.

And Sean also just cut him out for a rematch by calling Vera who seems tobe his priority. After Vera that might just be the time we'll see who will be the next, Cejudo despite being old, will grab his phone to Dana.
868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I will pass KYC later is a bad idea on: August 21, 2023, 03:15:41 PM
LOL! Now OP thinks that his thread would get gamblers pass KYC before even getting themselves accustomed to a casino. Why on the earth a gambler should go through KYC before being able to understand the paltform. I do agree a big deposit before passing KYC can be an issue. What I don't understand why I need to submit my identity document on a casino that doesn't give me a guarantee that it won't be sold. Is there any law supporting a users document would be secure? I and many here have seen how an established casino can dupe it's users. There is nothing that would harm the owner of a casino if he and his team do an exit scam. Then why a gambler would verify himself! Atleast he is still has anoymity and if he wins he would go through the KYC process.

The rejection of KYC from the casino site was made by the improper submission of the ID proof or Selfie with the ID.If the Document submitted for the KYC will not be cleared, the casino site had full rights to cancel the kyc and ask to resubmit the KYC.The gambler should take responsibility for the KYC submission,So if any problem. He should resubmit the KYC to the casino and the casino will verify this time without any delay.Because delaying huge time will spoil the reputation of the casino site among the gamblers.

I have not really heard of a casino asking KYC because of the big deposit. Maybe I missed it. Most of what I have read is withdrawing the huge winning causes the casino to ask KYC. There is still a way to get away without submitting. Just withdraw a small amount and still continue betting.

But if there really is no option, then submit the real one. Just make sure you are in a really reputable casino. It's still a bad idea but you get the chance to withdraw the lump sum.

869  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Platform to have multiple charts on the same screen on: August 20, 2023, 08:24:02 PM
Metatrader software does have BTC/USD pair on it. This is what FX traders use. I tried searching for it again just to put it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EFXviQJPWw
I'm hoping one day a crypto exchange will really be using this to integrate cryptocurrencies but so far I can only see BTC. With it though you can see 1hr-4hr chart, daily, weekly and monthly at the same time which is quite helpful in 3 ducks trading system.

Metatrader can display 4 charts at once but it will be smaller especially if you have a small screen monitor.  What people may suggest is to buy VGA splitter and connect 2 monitors to your computer so you'll literally have two screens.
870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: August 20, 2023, 07:40:57 PM

So much for the Fury vs Ngannou clown show, Mike Tyson vs Fedor Emelianenko might just be among the card this October.  Consider this post as a filler though it's a bit of an off-topic, I just want to insert the info to leave a bad taste. So who you got and how does it play out?

This is Fedor's death wish by the way I guess Tyson wouldn't say no to someone that is dying. Mikie still got it, somehow he showed it in his last with Roy Jones.

Emelianenko has long wanted to try himself in boxing, and it seems there was talk of a fight with Roy Jones, but he only agreed to a large fee that none of the promotions could organize. As for the fight with Tyson, I have no idea how it can end - Fedor has already lost everything he could, boxing is not his main occupation for him (although he is undoubtedly more experienced in boxing than, for example, Ngannou), but Tyson is much older.

Seem a bit of a fair match though. Mike is older but boxing is his playground while Fedor is younger but he is fighting in a boxing ring. This fight will be a good undercard for Francis vs Fury as it will also make a huge crowd in the arena. The promotion will be glad to welcome them.

Ngannou vs Fury hype had slowed down to which it really going to need help. What they will need is more UFC fighters crossing to make a lot of people interested in the result.
871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption in Turkey Grows Stronger on: August 20, 2023, 05:57:56 PM
So, will Inflation be one of the driving factors for Bitcoin adoption in other countries?

Looks like it. It's not so strange to hear any more of this kind of story. There are other countries with high inflation also where the citizens are starting to use crypto namely Argentina which OP gave in the 2nd link. It however may not make sense if BTC also dives deeper so it's not going to save them if crypto continues its bear market down to 20k.

I just watch the video and they are accepting not just BTC, including TRON. If they trade it to their local currency right after receiving BTC though, it would be pointless.
872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: August 20, 2023, 04:37:45 PM
Anybody know of any crypto casinos that offer cockfighting? preferably vietnamese thai cambodian or filipino

As far as I am aware, cock fighting is outlawed in basically every country and I have no idea where you could find an illegal game provider. I would advise against it, either way. It is both cruel and sketchy.

Now as far as online digital cockfighting goes, I heard that it is difficult to find a fair game, as gambling games that are not 100% probability based can be manipulated. So nobody is willing to provide something like that, as the casino is legally liable in such cases.

Not in Asian countries. They do it legally but there are also underground cockfighting arenas just like how dogfights in some countries.

I would like to participate in this but it's just too hard to learn the rooster's capabilities and its past so it's murky. You will be betting on fights you never really know if you have the edge even if you are pretty much knowledgable about roosters. I would avoid such games, this is best when you are a local.

873  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 20, 2023, 04:20:29 PM
But gambling habit is another case that we don't have to keep secret, especially from our family. They have the right also to know what makes us busy and besides, whatever happens to us like getting into trouble because of our addiction, they were to help us.

Well, I could say that I was different from you and probably different from others too because I believe that our family is a part of our life. Some things would be kept secret and alone but the majority will be known to them as well. I'd preferred to tell my family as trusted them most rather than telling my friend which could possibly spread more about the issue.

In my case, I have been playing poker for many years and my close relatives know about it, but it is a topic that is not usually discussed. It is like a taboo subject. I guess because everyone knows or has heard of someone who has had problems with gambling and they think that one day it could happen to me. This despite the fact that my finances are going well and I don't have any economic problems at all.

I suppose that if I went on television as a big poker star it would be a different story, but since it is a relatively private thing where nobody sees what I do at the tables, they feel insecure.

Well, maybe your family doesn't touch on that topic because they also have Respect for you and that is something that can be very delicate for them, also, since you keep your finances in order, they can't get too involved either , it's something that can sometimes cause them a taboo subject , but as time goes by and they realize how things are with casino games, they will realize that it is normal, for me it is that they do not want to go into details because some problems may occur, as long as There is an exchange of opinions and that there are different points of view, because things can heat up and perhaps the relationship that they have with each other will deteriorate, and since they are family, it is better not to touch on those issues, because not even they can change you , but you can. To them, that's like a topic when it comes to politics , many people don't understand it and they tend to get upset when they have ways of thinking that are very different from them.

What you say about playing poker and if someone comes out on TV wow that would be something very cool, because there they will see you differently and they may even admire you a lot and accept it in a way that they didn't think , but it's not worth it, I think that as a poker player as long as you do what you like, well you should keep doing it, being a famous person is alerting thieves and bad people to persecute you and your family , sometimes things tend to be better like this in a quiet way so that there are no problems that are generated later, the majority of people in the world are envious, the percentage of people who are happy because others are doing well is very small, it is difficult to find people like that .

However, the one you give is a great example, because just like you, there must be many similar cases where some do not dare to say it out of fear or for other reasons that can be very determining, there are times when in couples, women do not like that, and there are some who do not give Importance to them and even that can be a Reason for Separation.

There is certain politics inside a family and for someone who is not dependent and almost like a big shot in the family, no one will bat an eye whatever they do with their money. Playing poker could just be a taboo but probably behind his back, some jealous guys in the family (inlaws usually) are just waiting for his failure. You never know, some of them think their sister's money is their money.

I would be proud of my gambling also but I'm not showing it to anyone in my family not even to my wife. But I can talk so much about sports or even gambling strategies whenever we play cards.
874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can everyone in the world have bitcoin. on: August 20, 2023, 04:03:55 PM

Despite the act that everyone could just have a fraction of BTC, not everyone has access to the internet obviously not all will have BTC. Regular people today with access to the internet don't even have BTC for they rely solely on fiat. With BTC so high in price, they will be discouraged to buy but will think tokens will also go up like BTC which it won't.

Even some crypto users especially the ones who are into airdrops, most of them might just have altcoins.

Holy shit, Sean O'Malley knocked out Aljamain Sterling which i was not expecting the fight to be this easy for Malley and i was picking Aljamain Sterling to win Cry. Picture perfect right hand to his face and Aljamain Sterling fell flat on the ground and he finished the fight.

876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What micro games is best for you? on: August 20, 2023, 03:16:26 PM

Dice would be best for me as I have been playing it with my altcoins for some time. So many dice sites are actually in crypto and to this day, people who are betting on those sites are high rollers. I still see some of them bet more than 0.1 BTC I could be wrong but we could see it on the recent bets.

EVeryone has different tastes in which is best for them.
Dice works for me because I'm just using altcoins such as TRX and DOGE so I wouldn't mind losing all. However, I hold on to those coins which are still growing in quantities in my account.
877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: August 19, 2023, 07:41:44 PM
~
Sadly a gambling addict doesn't understand what's self control and discipline, he will try to gamble as long as he have money and will try anything to get money. If every gambler understand about self control and read every warning message on the casino, there will be no gambling addict.

I think they're born to become gambling addict that used to make the casino's owner become rich, make a debt collector to work etc.

They understand it. They know control but they are just not resisting because they like it. Once upon a time, some of us are also addicted to gambling games but because not only did we want to win but also enjoy the company of friends playing so we keep doing it.

You should not gamble if you feel stressful whenever you gamble even if you are using own money. Gambling should be use for fun and you should stop if are already stressful in the game since it only means that you can’t handle risk. You don’t get the real purpose of gambling.

I understand about the pressure on playing using loan money but not all user here feel the same way because some user just need quick funds in crypto while waiting for their salary.
Why will a gambler utilized loan money for gambling in the first place, it absolutely makes no sense. Loans are taken for budgeting purposes, not gambling, and they have implications that we might never exist after encountering. Gambling with a solid mental balance will undoubtedly lead to gambling with an estimated amount of money, rather than the other way around. When it comes to gambling, we feel more pressure to do what we think is right, but we often forget that the chances of succeeding are 50/50. It's as simple as that: our results either result in profits or loses.

This is a very rational statement which is being said by a rational person, even if you maybe a gambler based on what you say that loans are for budgeting purposes makes you a very rational person and that is a good thing. The problem though is that gamblers who are deep down in addiction or near falling to it will not think that cold headed and will just say that I get this loan and I win money, deep down they think they will win with this money but unfortunately for them it is a dead end tunnel which you have a lot of difficulties turning back and getting out from there.

They really would expect to win and even paid the loan with extra in hand ready to roll out again. This always ends in a disastrous way when the loanee lost the bets and couldn't pay the debt.

In a loan business, most of them are going to check what kind of job a person has and whether he has properties before he is allowed to take a loan. In the forum though, all you need is collateral. Back in the day, the account can even be used as collateral.
878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling by financial dependents. on: August 19, 2023, 06:38:39 PM
A family member reported to me that her eighteen years old son has started gambling. She is not worried that he is gaming but her problem is that he is a student that solely depends on her for everything he needs. Her fear is also that her son might start stealing from her if he has no access to the money he needs to gamble. My relative has even started suspecting that some money she feels was misplaced might have been stolen by her son.

He is not worried but has a problem. Perhaps, she would be worried more because her son is gambling, not just a simple gaming activity. She would stop her son as early as possible before he totally fall into a gambling addiction. She would have not let the worse thing happen because it was hard to stop it once addicted and yes, stealing could be possible.

We should have to educate young minds about gambling and must tell them the real thing - they must know the negative impact on their life in order for them to discourage.

But one is not supposed to over react either. Sure, it is good for anyone who is young and inexperienced to be aware of the risks of gambling in the long term, but not all the gamblers are destined to become addicted to their hobby.

There are people out there who are gamblers and one would not even notice, because they are able to control their feelings and their money.
It is a matter of paying attention to him to see whether he starts to behave in a different way and he loses the control over his finances. As long as he keeps a healthy budget and can stick to it, then gambling would not be harmful to him or anyone around him.

For a young man like OP's nephew, he will learn eventually after losing money and circumstances change where there are more things to spend on than playing slot. Young men always commit mistakes they learn eventually how easy it is to spend someone else hard-earned pay while hard to spend the money you worked so much.

Not being able to learn all these will really make the guy dependent all his life. It's pathetic to see a grown man asking Mommy for money so he could play slot.

Experienced a losing streak and my patience run out and then max out.  Grin

You know playing in the middle of the night is actually my favorite thing to do. No one bother's me and I get to stay outside using my laptop while smoking. It keeps me focused when I'm the only one alone and confidently free to open a browser with a casino on the page. It's really bothering when someone is behind watching your bet like they know how to play than you.
880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 19, 2023, 05:13:55 PM
Andre Petroski will fight Gerald Meerschaert, Andre Petroski was born in the USA, in Pennsylvania, he is 32 years old and has only 5 years of professional career, in addition to that fact he also had few fights throughout his short career, in all he did 10 fights, and he managed to win in 9 fights and lost in only 1 fight, and a good performance, to add he had 4 wins by knockout and 4 wins by submission, he only had one victory by decision, while his opponent Gerald Meerschaert is 35 years old, was born in the USA, in Wisconsin and has more than 13 years of professional career, having made a record of 51 fights, with 35 wins in which he got 27 wins by submission, 6 wins by knockout and 2 decision wins. in my opinion Andre Petroski will win this fight

Andrea Lee had fought Natália Silva, well Andrea Lee is 34 years old and was born in the USA, in Texas, she has 9 years of professional career, in that 9 years of career she had 20 fights and won in 13 fights and lost in 7 fights . she has 5 wins by decision, 5 wins by submission and 3 wins by knockout. while her opponent, Natália Silva is 26 years old and was born in brazil, has 8 years of professional career, having had 21 fights, of which she won 15 fights, lost 5 fights and had a draw. Of the 15 fights she won, 5 wins were by knockout, 7 wins were by submission, 2 by decision and 1 by disqualification. in my opinion Natália Silva will take advantage of the bad moment that Andrea Lee is going through and with that Natália Silva will win this fight

Karine Silva will fight against Maryna Moroz. Karine Silva is 29 years old and was born in Brazil, she has 10 years of professional career, and during the 10 years of her professional career she managed to have 20 fights, of which she won 16 fights. they managed to get 9 wins by knockout and 7 wins by submission, on the other hand their opponent Maryna Moroz is 31 years old, was born in Volnogorsk, Ukraine. she has 15 fights, of which she won in 12 fights and lost in 3 fights. She has 4 submission wins, 1 decision win, and 1 knockout win. well, in my opinion Karine Silva will win this fight

Fights are uninteresting when no one is posting about them. But since you posted them I start looking into their fights on youtube. Its usually the younger one that is very eager to win but if I have to bet, I'd try Meerschaert. He is quite a very experienced submission fighter and though he is just 35, it's odd he is not the favorite.

Natalia Silva also is the younger one with more subs wins.
Maryna Moroz's record is 6 by submission and 4 by decision.  But I think Karine Silva will come out as the winner between them. Karine has more KO rate than Moroz, this obviously says Yes.
