1661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who to blame for the increasing transaction fee? on: February 06, 2017, 07:42:46 AM
Most of the blocks are full 990.11 999.12 and so on but there are some blocks with the size of 0.25 can someone first tell me how is this possible?

1662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is banned on: February 06, 2017, 05:13:03 AM
Do you know the entire crypto currencies marketcap is a childplay thing or better like the pennies you get as a change after buying something from a shop for most countries? and I believe many governments around the world starting to accumulate and that is why price is rising, only if people stop selling at these low prices and hold for a more strong demand the'll see that there are even stronger demands than $1500.
"If you can't beat them, join them" but of course a military oriented regime can enforce tyrannical rules such as ban on internet related services.
1663  Economy / Speculation / Re: Say bye to Triple Digits on: February 06, 2017, 04:58:35 AM
Seems like you are trying to kid us OP? this ain't true and everyone knows it, in order for maintaining a balance between different markets the price will be corrected to $960 and stays there for a while.
1664  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are terrorists only muslim in religion? on: February 06, 2017, 03:49:37 AM
Yes, but again you can't call anyone terrorizing people a Muslim, everything they do is against what Islam stands for.
However it depends on the people that you are calling terrorists, according to medias and US government entire universe is united states and anything or anyone outside is the background noise that you are free to call them terrorism, enemies/allies/aliens. and there is that Mr.Trump the leader of the free world the boss.
1665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No big reduction in full node operation cost under Lightning Network future on: February 06, 2017, 01:55:28 AM
What exactly is the problem here now? are we debating only about 2 options here LN & segwit?
@franky1, seems like you are not even sure which side to pick or which option is the answer.
Could you tell me the final solution and not list pros and cons?
1666  Economy / Economics / Re: How world currencies compare to Bitcoin in terms of "market capitalization" on: February 06, 2017, 01:36:03 AM
So where is bitcoin's country? where are North Korea and Iran? why CIA as reference? because it says CIA? you should check the data provided by the world bank. now we all know bitcoin knows no borders and could reach even more levels of credibility and value or are you trying to prove a point I'm not seeing it.
1667  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-02-04] Almost $1 Billion Worth of Bitcoins Stuck in Transaction Backlog on: February 06, 2017, 01:03:29 AM
2014-02-04 is that the correct date mate? best time to accumulate as much as you can because we're moving towards the exclusive club of the riches where each BTC worth $10K and any successful transaction cost you $1 at least.
Do you know the biggest flaw of bitcoin distribution? you only get the fees if you are the block winner but if we could receive fees just by running a full node, then no problem of sorts.

However I know I'm being silly, no matter how many elevators we have each elevator can only carry a certain number of people though only the fastest one opens it's door when reached destination.
1668  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Mass Adoption even possible.. on: February 06, 2017, 12:13:39 AM
Which country has the cheapest electricity? one is China and that alone has more than 1B population, if we are introducing bitcoin as a decentralized currency every one should be able to mine it but when most of the people in other countries see they can't profitably mine bitcoin and see Chinese have the advantage over them, what would you do?

I think nation adoption has already happened but worldwide adoption with this small block size? the joke is on you.
1669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Frustrates You Most When Using Bitcoin? on: February 05, 2017, 11:47:19 PM
Today's keyword is "frustration" greatest fear my a*s Cheesy there is no need to copy paste or check addresses few times only check 2 first and 2 last digits to make sure. what truly makes me mad or frustrated? when I send bitcoin to buy online and they refund me saying you didn't send in time and because of the price fluctuations the amount received was less than what we are selling our product.
1670  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I have a GREAT invention w/ but no programming skills on: February 05, 2017, 12:14:08 PM
Techcrunch.com or medium.com or inventmyidea.com or inventioncity.com
I need to remind you that you can't surpass bitcoin protocol.
1671  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Processor speed and blockchain synchronisation on: February 05, 2017, 11:54:54 AM
I'm planning to get a lenovo with Celeron N3060 1.6GHz upto 2.48GHz 2MB cache  with 4GB RAM and GeForce 920M 1GB
I will install win 7 what manual configuration do I need to do for best blockchain sync?

Is it this one?
http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/laptops/lenovo-ideapad-110-15-6-laptop-black-10146807-pdt.html

If it is, I'd try to get a copy of the blockchain directory on a dvd, or use the ethernet to connect to a machine that is already running a full node.

It takes forever to download the full blockchain.
No it's ideapad 300-V and from where can I get the full blockchain? I need at least a zip file with resume ability to download with internet download manager.
I have internet speed up to 10MB/s
1672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet Address and Payment doubt. on: February 05, 2017, 11:48:30 AM
So if your address keeps changing means people are still sending bitcoins to 1 address right? because if as you put it your wallet address is changing each time are you providing the campaign manager with the new one? or he is still sending to the old one? if he is sending to only 1 address then wtf are you doing here?
Blockchain.info generates a new add every time you receive bitcoins you can use the new one each week but campaign managers hate to change participants info all the time.
How much are you getting paid that if missed you'll regret the rest of your life? lol
1673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Investment Doubt on: February 05, 2017, 11:32:12 AM
I've tried 2 gambling services accepting investments on their bankrolls and already received a decent return but I was stupid to play with them just to double my cash but went on a big bet and lost 70% Sad and now investing the remaining %30 and will wait for my profit hopefully the house keeps winning.

1675  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC Price Question on: February 05, 2017, 10:47:49 AM
What kind of idiot would buy high to sell low? calculate the electricity cost for mining each bitcoin and add %30 to that estimated cost and you have your price. Less electricity cost more profit.
1676  Economy / Economics / Re: Difference of Trading and Investing? on: February 05, 2017, 10:24:51 AM
I'll spit out some knowledge here, often lazy a*s people like to give their money so the smart people can work with that money and earn more money while those smart people funnily enough are giving the money to other smarter people and so on until the final work is done and profit is earned.
Trading though is one of the oldest social interactions among humans and usually items with equal values been traded unlike investment where you think something will have a great value in the future.
1677  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MinerGate Cloud mining on: February 04, 2017, 01:00:32 PM
I have used their miner without problems, but actually I never had any withdrawal request though, they seem to provide the maximum 1,000,000 GH/s for 170BTC and your daily cost at $330 I just saw this now and might start with a small amount whenever I had 1k+ bitcoins in my wallet Cheesy
1678  Economy / Speculation / Re: If we burn bitcoin? on: February 04, 2017, 12:38:27 PM
Did someone shove a red Mexican pepper in your behind that is to burn the coins instead of just holding them?
Or did you think bitcoin is like fiat with unlimited supply and renewable?
1679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Insurance on: February 04, 2017, 12:27:44 PM
You mean accept as currency or insure the safety of bitcoins? first one is not even accepted by the small and online shops even games not yet accept bitcoin at least not the majority.
Insuring the safety of money is in the banks area of expertise and since bitcoins in bank vaults or in your home small vault both are equally safe there is no need to insure your bitcoins.
This also goes back to the usual exchange to fiat first and then use that cash to pay such companies story Smiley
1680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 65214 Unconfirmed Transactions on: February 03, 2017, 11:10:37 PM
People Forgot That The Idea Of Bitcoin Is P2P Transferring, we need to run nodes in our home to support the bitcoin network, there’s how we can do it:
~snip~ lol

Isn't confirming transactions the same as mining? sorry but I was running a full node for a few months on my desktop and all I got was an useless overheated junk left for me to throw away.
If you know a way to run a full node and get the fees without the need of your resources being used then I'm all ears.

About what fees you are talking about?
There's hundred of more powerful mining rigs than computers working 24/7.
Forget about the idea of getting fees from computer node.
If you would run node at least when you using your computer it would help to the network.

Just enlighten me please, isn't confirming the transactions called mining? also if you find a block you'll get the fees and if you run a node with desktop computer you are technically mining but will never find a block and never receive any thing whatsoever.
It's the pools that should run as many full nodes as they can but are they?

One thing we should let people know, you can mine with 5m rigs and link them just to 1 node or you can have 5m rigs and link each one to a node to have 5m nodes, but if you want to find a block faster than others it's better if you do everything with that one node.

But the network problem is way over that, and it's about the limitations in the source code itself, so if you run 10m full nodes you'll be limited to find a block every 10 minutes and in each block only a limited number of transactions can fit.
