What could be some tweaks that can be added to this strategy? If there is and someone finds it to become better, I would just say good luck to them if it really fits them right to do this.

Yes, this strategy can be risky and can lead to significant financial losses, especially if the bettor does not have an unlimited amount of funds to keep increasing the bet. And nobody has.

The martingale strategy can be modified in a number of ways. One way to modify the strategy is to set a maximum bet amount and stop increasing the bet after the maximum is reached. This can help prevent the bettor from betting more than they can afford to lose. Another potential modification is to only increase the bet after a certain number of consecutive losses, rather than after every loss. This can help reduce the overall amount of money being bet, but also means that it may take longer to recoup losses.

Croatia defeated Brazil 4-2 in the World Cup quarterfinals, knocking out tournament favourites Brazil for the fourth time in their last five appearances.  Croatia's goalkeeper, Livakovic, earned plaudits for his performance. He may be a contender for the Best Goalkeeper of the World Cup Award.

The game between Brazil and Croatia has been a great match for the neutrals. The two teams couldn't be separated in 120 minutes, and we're going to penalties. The score is locked at 1-1. It's hard to predict who will come out on top. We're going to penalties!

105 mins Extra Time: Croatia 0-1 Brazil

Croatians are not playing well offensively, but their defense has kept them in the game so far. Their defence has been well organised and disciplined, but they have not been able to find a way through and to generate enough chances to threaten the Brazilian goal, and are now running out of time. The second half has been extremely tight, with neither side able to break the deadlock. Croatia have been very well organised defensively, but they have not had much joy going forward. If they can get a goal, it will be very difficult for Brazil.

I agree with mocacinno and others. Reinstalling the operating system has become much less of a chore than it used to be. Sure, it's a hassle to restore all apps and settings to the way they were, but it'll do a better job of getting rid of malware than any other option. Better to be safe than sorry, right?

You may also want to consider using a bootable Linux live CD or USB drive to scan your system for malware, which will be left behind by most other methods. This is especially useful if you're not sure what else to do with the infected PC. Personally, I also use a combination of antivirus and malwarebytes. But because my computer doesn't do much besides surf the web for geeky stuff, there isn't much chance that it'll encounter dangerous files anyway! Of course, I still wouldn't feel comfortable keeping large sums of money in this machine. It's better to use a more secure PC for that purpose, or better yet - a hardware wallet.
1687  Other / Off-topic / Re: Access Control in a Blockchain on: December 09, 2022, 04:23:48 PM
I agree, in my opinion this wouldn't be a good use case for blockchain technology. Medical records contain sensitive and personal information that, if made public, could be used to harm individuals. For example, an individual's medical records could be used to blackmail them or discriminate against them. A blockchain is a publicly accessible, distributed database. This means that anyone with access to the internet would be able to view all the data on the blockchain. This would compromise the privacy of the individuals whose records are in such a database. While the blockchain is designed to be secure, it is not completely private. As such, I don't think that a blockchain would be appropriate for storing  sensitive data like medical records. I think that it would be much safer to store those records in a centralized database, where only certain individuals have access to them.

OP is not an experienced internet user. My guess is, he is a very old person who is excited to use a computer or smartphone but completely unaware that the world gone far away from his age LOL

LOL, no! I think you are wrong about that. Look at his post history.

OP is actually a very experienced dev and Linux/FreeBSD sysadmin. He may be older than many of us because I personally don't know a single young developer who knows FreeBSD, but that doesn't mean he's any less of an experienced internet user. He probably knows the technical side of the internet better than most users here.  Smiley

@mocacinno, you said: "sometimes it can take an hour before a valid block is found". Is one hour the maximum time between two blocks? What happens if no miner finds a valid hash in that time? If not, is there a maximum time that can elapse between two confirmed blocks?
1690  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SHA256 Algo can reverse on: December 06, 2022, 08:45:21 PM
If Sha256 algo created for hashing. and its one way function. Whoever invented this , he or she  can reverse ?

No. The SHA 256 is one of the most common cryptographic hash functions out there, so you'll also see it in lots of applications and other algorithms in cryptography. It's a fast, one-way function, and it can not be reversed. This means that there is no way to recover the original message from its hash value. It's also very hard to modify the content of the message without completely changing its hash value. And, of course, its uniqueness makes it a perfect hashing algorithm for digital signatures.

Considering that it's been said that Bitcoin won't be impacted and will continue to grow, what are the key difference between the two Bitcoin and other coins?

Yes. Bitcoin isn't the only type of cryptocurrency out there. There are hundreds of other types of coins, some with features that may make them more desirable to certain users.

But, when compared to these the difference between Bitcoin and other coins are clear. Bitcoin is the flagship cryptocurrency. It is the first, most valuable and most well-known digital currency in the world. Many tried to become number one and failed.

Lol, it's the English language flag, click and choose any language.
Site fully functional.
Curacao gambling license in process.

I'm not sure if I should laugh or what, but this casino site seems like a joke. Sorry OP, but we've seen many sites here with the same script as yours and they are all either scams or just plain garbage. I'm not sure if you are new to this or what, but I really think you should reconsider your plans. There's nothing wrong with trying to make a casino site, but if you want people to take you seriously then some effort is required, and it seems like you're trying to make a quick buck here.

Can you show us proof of bankroll? Since you're new, please show us your signed message from an address with a decent amount of coins to prove that you do have funds to payout.

And you still haven't explained why your Terms of Service are identical to those of other casino sites? This is not a good thing because it suggests that you don't take your business seriously.

Everything is happening very fast, yesterday I made a bet on Brazil and it went very well, here at freebitcoin I didn't, one question, if I also bet on the draw. Does it have to be a tie to go to extra time? Or does extra time open another possibility or another bet? Because each player bets on penalties with more luck, that was the game with Japan and the Croats, the Japanese didn't know how to shoot the goals and almost all covered them.

If it is about penalty kicks, that is as far as the bet for the tie ends and can it be considered that he won?

You cannot bet on a draw in R16 games on freebitco.in. You can only bet on the team that will win in the end.
This is the case throughout both the knockout rounds and the finals of the tournament.
1694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 06, 2022, 05:52:14 PM
Morocco 0-0 Spain (3-0 on pens)

A. Sabiri 121'
H. Ziyech 122'
A. Hakimi 126'

After a hard-fought 120 minutes of play, the score is tied and a penalty shootout determines which team will advance to the next round. Surprisingly, Spain are out of the World Cup! How is this possible? The Spanish team, who were favorites to win the tournament, had a string of bad luck in the penalty shootout. First, Sarabia missed his shot and then Soler's attempt was saved by Bounou. Then Busquets goes left, and Bounou is all over it again. Moroccan fans went wild as Hakimi scored his side's fourth penalty in a 3-0 win over Spain that sent them through to the quarters of the World Cup.
1695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 05, 2022, 09:25:54 PM
Croatia had a really big difficulty against Japan today. They were barely able to eliminate Japan by penalty shootouts. If they don't make any improvement in their effort they can't do much against Brazil.

It would be unwise to count Croatia out just yet. These matches showed that Japan and Korea play at different levels.
Korea was one of the lucky teams to advance out of its group and play in a knockout round. If not for an unfortunate last-minute events, Uruguay would have been playing today instead.

On the other hand, Japan showed that it is a team to be reckoned with by beating two former world champions—Germany and Spain. So, it's not out of the question to think that Croatia could make it to the semifinals.
1696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 05, 2022, 08:58:03 PM
Full-time:
Brazil 4-1 Korea Republic

Vinícius Júnior7‎'      Paik Seung-Ho 76'
‎Neymar 13‎'
‎Richarlison 29‎'
‎Lucas Paquetá 36‎'‎

Brazil have won the match in a ruthless fashion, scoring 4 times while South Korea were able to score just once. The result sets up an exciting quarter-final matchup with Croatia vs. Brazil.
1697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unwarranted ECB claims about BTCs "last stand" on: December 05, 2022, 08:40:29 PM
The only thing that the ECB seems to have concluded in this report is that, should bitcoin become a threat to their existence, they will fight it with everything they've got. This is a good example of how various central banks across the world are struggling to adapt to the changing financial landscape and how they continue to try and paint Bitcoin in as negative a light as possible. The ECB's report is nothing but an attempt at discrediting the cryptocurrency, and it doesn't take much reading between the lines to understand that they don't like competition.

Unfortunately for them, the facts have a bad habit of getting in the way of their rhetoric.
1698  Other / Meta / Re: Auto-correct will improve communication on BTT on: December 05, 2022, 05:22:07 PM
I believe that auto-correct can make our work easier by correcting spelling and generating words to help us finish our own sentences. I like the idea of saving time and not worrying about any spelling errors while having a conversation with someone. But I am sure that many people would like to have this feature in their own devices. Auto-correct can be annoying for people who are not used to it or do not want the feature at all.

1699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 05, 2022, 05:08:48 PM
Well, Croats certainly have experience in this from the last championship. Croatia was the ultimate surprise of the World Cup 2018. They played a total of 90 minutes in extra time during the tournament. Tthey played two penalty shootouts, and they won both the games. I think it could be the same here.

Not Bitcoin.

It depends on what people mean in the context of crypto. Crypto is not the same thing as Bitcoin.
But in my experience, most people don't know what crypto is, nor have they ever heard of it. This is not the case with Bitcoin.

Mods deleting ANY threads talking about this.
