For now ICC doesn't have any other go other than increasing the number of teams. Till date ICC tries to keep everything under control, and having more teams might affect the persons who are in the top authority. Real cricket lovers always stays with the test cricket, but the revenue making and time constraints have moved people to watch T20 and T10 matches more than the test and ODI matches.
The number of teams is being increased. But the problem is that most of the teams that qualify are "fake" national teams without any native players. And that is not going to do anything towards increasing the popularity of cricket. And in order to waste resources, the ICC need to cut down the number of test matches. Test cricket is dying, and there is no point in diverting the resources to a losing cause when it can be better utilized elsewhere. 3-4 test matches a year should be enough, and remaining time should be devoted to T20 cricket.

I have to say that if there are absolutely no native players in a team, it is certain that the team and also the board are just trying to make some business through cricket. Eventually, that is not going to do any help for cricket in the long run. The only thing that is going to be done is those teams are going to beat the other teams which actually have native players and destroy any chances of them growing. ICC tries to do a lot of things to improve the current situation of cricket. But behind those decisions the main priority is money. Improvement of Cricket should not be the second priority of the sports body that controls cricket.

You are right, statistically PSG controlled the game with 57% ball possession.
meaning that PSG dominated, especially in the first half, PSG really dominated the game. unfortunately, there are many people who hope PSG will score a lot of goals in this match. including myself at first, but after seeing the starting eleven and the formation used by Galtier.
looks like Galtier is saving Mbappe energy for the champions league, as a result he sits on the bench.
but often we don't see the opponent's strategy, Nice really play defensively with a 5-4-1 formation pattern.
but as you said, if Galtier had included Mbappe as a starter from the start, maybe the result would have been different. despite all that, the fact is that SPG performed very well even though it was only a thin goal difference.
PSG dominated this match. There is no doubt about that. Lionel Messi's free kick was one of the highlights of the game for me. Obviously, PSG was supposed to win this match. And I really feel like the goal that they conceded was unlucky.

But anyway, Mbappe came on the pitch as a sub and won it for PSG. PSG is obviously going to win the Ligue 1 title. The question is how are they going to perform in the Champions League? Their opponent in the Champions League is going to be Benfica. Considering the fact that it isn't a very challenging match for PSG, I expect them to win this match as well.
Even a thin goal difference gives you the three points and they were the main objective of PSG to get them.Their coach is thinking of course more about the Champions League as there they have failed every year while in the Ligue 1 they have no real opponents,we all know they will win it easily because having Messi and Mbappe on the same team gives you this assurance.I agree it is because of the Champions League that the coach saved Mbappe and did not make him play the full 90 minutes of the game.

From ICC and the broadcaster's point of view, 70% of revenue loss is not so little and it comes from just 1 source.
We've discussed many times here and everyone is very critical on how unfair is to organize only 10-12 team WC, including the qualification process. But at the same time we have to be practical as well, after all, this money subsidizes cricket in smaller cricketing nations.
If the ICC want to limit the number of teams to 10 or 12, it is OK. But then there should be a fair qualification pathway. What happens now is that ODI ranking decides the 8 slots (where associate nations are not included), and the qualification tournament decides only the last two slots. In other sports, direct qualification is provided to only one team (hosts). Even giving direct entry to 2-3 teams is OK. But doing so for 80% of the participants is a sham. In FIFA World Cup, even teams like Brazil and Germany needs to play the qualifying tournament.
Right now cricket is not played by majority of countries as compare to football. ICC should introduce cricket in different countries to make it qualifying process more diverse and fair. Cricket is for now limited to few countries that's y we have lesser teams and unfair competition, with diversity there comes fair rankings.
ICC is trying to do that even though it is late. Maybe it could have been done more strongly. If you look at the ICC ranking list, there are 20 countries named included. Cricket has just started in those countries. Matches with good teams may seem boring to many. Because those matches will be one sided. It will take a long time to resolve all this.

I agree with @Sithara007 because I really think that the qualification process is not fair in the ICC in almost any competition. And not only talking about the men's competition. We have recently seen how unfair it was for Thailand women not to get qualified. Instead, ICC decided to give the spot to Pakistani women.

@BobK71 you are right, that even though ICC is actually trying to do better it probably seems too late. The era of test cricket and One-Day Internationals are going to be dead very soon. The era of T20 and t10 is going to start very soon as well and ICC will not have any options other than increasing the number of teams in the tournaments.

hello all, I have some problems about testnets.

what is a testnet?? why Ethereum has  more than one test net??  could anyone give me a clear answer and offer me some resources for more education??

Thank you!

Before launching into the market and reaching consumers, each product goes through many stages of research and production, in which it is important to prove that the product is safe and of good quality, called testing. Testnet is that you participate in the process of testing and evaluating the quality of a certain blockchain and you are called a tester.

These days, serious and quality projects before the product launch eventually they find users to test their product and they will often have a reward to thank those who have shown interest in the project early stages of their project. Must say these days testnet is becoming more popular than airdorp or bounty and the rewards from testnet are well worth your efforts.

If however, hypothetically speaking, we lived in a world where exchanges were perfectly safe and you didn't need to move your crypto to a wallet...

No, it's not what you think. Hold your money on centralized exchanges like you are depositing your savings in a bank, they can freeze your account any time or worse, the exchange crashes and you lose your assets. Money on a centralized exchange is not yours.
Unlike exchanges, non-custodial wallets like trustwallet or metamask, you are the only one who holds the keys and only you can access and use your property.

Looks like you need to learn more basics to get ahead in the market. I recommend equipping you with more knowledge before looking at investments or trades you are making, such as spot or derivatives...

I think it makes more sense if James Maddison and Youri Tielemans leave the club. The reason being that at this point it feels like Leicester City are not being able to take advantage of the potential of both of these players. Both of these players are very much capable of playing quite well when they are given the chance. I think the club is going to try to keep them in the squad because they know how big of a potential these two players have.
There was lot of interest in both the players. With Tielemans, player actually wants a new challenge but the club denied the offers as manager really wants the player as he is crucial in midfield. It's same with Maddison when a PL club showed interest in him if I recall things correctly. Now as long as Rodgers is there, I think it will be hard to bring players unless an irresistible bid arrives but with Foxes not performing its possible that he might be sacked and maybe bringing these players might become easier perhaps.
Quote
But at the same time, I don't believe the players are going to stay even though they are offered a good amount of money.
Honestly, its hard to say as you don't know what a player wants. But I also don't think these are kind of players who will choose money over growth.

I am someone who always wants to see players choose growth over money. I would really not appreciate it if they do the opposite. Every time chooses money over his growth and legacy I absolutely despise that decision but at the same time, I also understand that there are certain situations in a player's life when he might need to make these types of decisions. Tielemans is a great player and if he concentrates on improving I am quite sure that he is going to be one of the best players in the world. And the same goes for Maddison. But the players are going to need to decide which path they choose to walk.
1707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 01, 2022, 05:17:37 PM
James Maddison and Youri Tielemans both are under their radar at the moment. As Leicester are having a terrible season and under the threat of relegation, Newcastle must be thinking that it would be easier for them to convince them. However I'm pretty confident that there would be some bigger teams to try to sign them as well.
Those are two very talented players, and with the current situation in their club it would make sense to believe that sooner rather than later they might prolly leave for another club, if true then it is smart for Newcastle to be monitoring their situation, like you said there would prolly be other clubs doing the same thing, but Newcastle can prolly give them a big contract to further convince them to make the switch to the St James' park, we'd see how things pan out.

Having said that, another thing is that even if these players would leave, i doubt it'd be in January, it would prolly be by the next summer transfer window, but despite that, it still makes sense to start putting plans in place, that's how club's with a vision operate, they look at the long term and start making purposeful plans.

I think it makes more sense if James Maddison and Youri Tielemans leave the club. The reason being that at this point it feels like Leicester City are not being able to take advantage of the potential of both of these players. The release of 100k bitcoin will be giving a big damage to the market. I can sure not all of creditors will be liquidating their bitcoin to the market but the problem is if even 50k bitcoin will drive market to go down once such amounts dumped instantly without thinking about the liquidity in the market. Remember the case that happened after tesla was dumping all of its bitcoin. Market goes to the bottom and panic selling everywhere.

Exactly Mt.Gox will issue 137kBTC not 100kBTC, but I don't see it will cause any damage to the market. They put on the market such a large amount of bitcoin but it doesn't increase or change the bitcoin supply how can it cause damage? Like the case you describe about Tesla, I don't see it having too much of an impact on the market, just investors' reaction to the market, some panic sell for fear of loss but there are always some other investors waiting to buy at lower price.

Depending on people's reaction to that news, for me that is good because there will be more buying opportunities for bitcoin and once the bad news is over it will be time for the bulls to come.

after the rumor came up a few days ago that real madrid will try very hard to sign Jude Bellingham (dortmund) next summer, today João Cancelo (man city) is the next player to be linked to the spanish record champion - the full back player is also expected to move from england to spain next season

As a right back for Real Madrid, Joao Cancelo has the potential to be a great player. It is my opinion that he would be worth €60 million on the transfer market at the moment. There is a possibility that Real Madrid might have to pay a lot more than that. It is because he is a world-class defender. Moreover, if he moves to Real Madrid, I am sure he will be given the opportunity to start on the first team. Currently, I think that the decision is up to the player as to where he wants to play. Manchester City is also playing well and at the same time, Real Madrid can also be a viable option.

The first match in ICC Under-19 World Cup Qualifier Asia Division Two has been won by Oman by a massive margin of 201 runs. It was disappointing since Bhutan playing XI was 100% native, while the Oman team was 100% comprised of foreigners. Aryan Bisht scored 60, and Oman reached a total of 255/9 in 50 overs. Karma Dorji picked up 3 wickets, while Rigser Namgyel and Anand Mongar picked 2 wickets each. In return, Bhutan was bowled out for a total of 54 runs in 20.5 overs. The scorecard is here:

https://www.icc-cricket.com/match/101256#scorecard

This is a really massive win for the Oman under-19 team. Honestly, I have to say that I expected a lot more from Bhutan's under-19 team. At the very least, it was expected that they would play the entire 50 overs. It is my belief that there is a very important reason why Oman did so well against Bhutan, and that is that they have a team that is made up of 100 percent expatriates.

Unless ICC takes any kind of action against this I don't think this problem is going to be solved. The fact that other teams are also going to make their first 11 out of foreign players is going to push them to do the same thing.
1711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin should I invest in other than bitcoin? on: September 29, 2022, 08:56:03 AM
There are many options other than bitcoin for investing in crypto, especially in popular altcoins such as ethereum, bnb, xrp, or other popular altcoins. you just need to adjust to what you are looking for. if you are looking for an investment with a high enough price, then ethereum is a great choice besides bitcoin. however, if you want a price that is still quite cheap for now, you can choose BNB. Well, there are also many popular altcoin investments under $1 or $10. you just have to look at the CMC in the top 10 coins, or the top 20 coins. I'm pretty sure that the coins will have a pretty good price when the bull market or its development has advanced further.

In the crypto market, in addition to bitcoin, we also have more than 20,000 different altcoins, it can be said that there are thousands of choices to invest. But my question is which coin will be as safe as bitcoin and what is the guarantee when you invest in altcoins those coins will go further in the future? The whole market still depends on the movement of bitcoin, bitcoin drops 1 then most altcoins drop 10 and what happens when bitcoin drops more? Let's go back to 2018 and see where the top altcoins are now when bear season arrives. Investing in altcoins is very risky, especially low cap altcoins, my advice is not to be stubborn about investing in altcoins during a bear market, just focus on bitcoin to minimize risk before thinking about making profit.
1712  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My thoughts and now my experience. on: September 29, 2022, 08:32:12 AM
If you want to mature in the market, most people go through the stages that you go through, no newbie realizes that knowledge is the key to entering the market until they lose. Your advice is really helpful but in my opinion, the best way for newbies to grow up is to let them experience the same things that the market offers them. There is no better lesson or knowledge than your own experience in the market.

All 3 are good advice but the 4th I slightly disagree, just like in this bear market, diversification doesn't work when the altcoin market depends on the movement of bitcoin. When Bitcoin drops in price, the whole market is in the red so diversifying into altcoins is not necessary when you invest in bitcoin.

Because people knew that Bayern Munich was going to win the league title, I believe people began to lose interest in the Bundesliga. It seems that suddenly there is a possibility that this is not going to be the case. It is for this reason that I believe people are becoming more interested in the Bundesliga again. Nevertheless, the problem with Bayern Munich is that they have enough money to quickly fix any problems that they may have. I think that this time it is going to be either a change of authority or the addition of Cristiano Ronaldo to the team. My opinion is that either one of these options will be able to solve the problem. Even so, I agree with you that the Bundesliga is once again interesting to watch.
Honestly what comes to my mind is people are interested in the Bundesliga or are they just interested in the performance of Bayern Munich who got a negative result in their 4 matches? Because to be honest I also think a little about the Bundesliga. Changes in position in the standings, at the top of the standings precisely because Bayern Munich is in a negative trend. If they come back then the situation will change soon and I'm sure of that.

It is understandable that people are just tired of watching the same team win the Bundesliga title year after year. I think it has come to a point where people actually would be happy if Bayern Munich did not win the title of the Bundesliga this season. It basically just does not matter to them which team wins the Bundesliga title except for Bayern Munich. I think that's why people are so excited about the fact that they are performing poorly in the Bundesliga this year. Although it is too early to make any predictions, I think Dortmund will have a good chance of winning this season if they can be consistent throughout the whole season.

Messi will never return to Barca as a player or as someone in the board! He will be club history and the most respected player from Barca but Messi has nothing to do with coaching or having any skills towards management so yea ...he is good with the ball and that's it. ERA of Messi in Barcelona has ended 2 years ago.
Yes, it can't be either. He left because Barcelona wanted to cut his salary because Barcelona was experiencing financial difficulties. Indeed Messi may feel unhappy, and it can make him unwilling to return to Barcelona. But so far I have not found an official leveling from Messi. So maybe there's a chance of a comeback or not it's a mystery. If he's going to retire we don't know. At the moment he looks comfortable at PSG he has also found the best game. I think Xavi also doesn't need Messi's figure anymore at the moment.

The fact that Lionel Messi is not going to return to Barcelona in any form at all makes me so sad, but it is true that he is not going to return in any way. It is obvious that he was one of the best things to happen to Barcelona in its history. However, every good thing has to come to an end at some point. Lionel Messi is a player everyone wishes he would stay at Barcelona for a long period of time and he should end his career in Barcelona as a 'one club player'. It wasn't meant to be that way, as Barcelona has some rubbish management at the helm.
1715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 28, 2022, 04:40:29 PM
We are tired of watching Bayern Munich dominate every season in the Bundesliga. Before the start of the season, we were sure that Bayern Munich would win the Champions League title. But this season teams like Union Berlin, Dortmund, and Freiburg are doing well. At the same time, Bayern Munich's performance has been somewhat weak. Bayern Munich is now the fifth team on the table. And they are 5 points behind Union Berlin. So it is likely that we will see the Union Berlin team at the top of the points table for several more weeks. Bayern Munich will try their best to finish top of the table. But since their attacking performance is a bit weak now, it is a bit difficult for Bayern to achieve the top spot in the table.
Bayern is going not where near the top this season. And this makes me super excited not for them though but for the other teams because it shows that there is hope and that they too can beat Bayern. I like said before, the Bunglesliga is now interesting to watch because the dominance by Bayern Munich has been destroyed. Now we can actually see them struggle to get to the top. They would need more that 5points to get there and stay there.

Because people knew that Bayern Munich was going to win the league title, I believe people began to lose interest in the Bundesliga. It seems that suddenly there is a possibility that this is not going to be the case. It is for this reason that I believe people are becoming more interested in the Bundesliga again. 1716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 27, 2022, 12:55:29 AM
The Bundesliga is obviously a lot more interesting this season. There is no longer a huge difference between Bayern Munich and its closest rivals in terms of points. The Bayern Munich team is currently ranked 5th in the table and despite the fact that only seven matches have been played so far, I am genuinely starting to believe that the Bundesliga will likely be decided by a different team this time around.

There is no guarantee that Union Berlin will win the Bundesliga, but I think as long as Bayern Munich is not going to be the league winner, the competition is going to be interesting in this league in the future.

I don't understand how you can call Union Berlin (a team with the lowest budgets of all Bundesliga teams) a serious competitor of FC Bayern. Union will never ever win the Bundesliga this season, I promise you that. If FC Bayern can be stopped, then only by Borussia Dortmund or RB Leipzig. And so far, it looks like only Dortmund is a serious competitor. RB Leipzig has sadly enough problems of its own.

Despite Bayern playing its weakest season in years, none of the Bundesliga "top teams" can put themselves in a promising position. That's worrying and makes me doubt whether any other team than Bayern should really succeed in winning the Bundesliga at the end of the season. But we will see, miracles happen from time to time.

Actually, I am not saying that Union Berlin is going to win the Bundesliga but my point is that as long as Bayern Munich is not going to win the title, the competition is going to be interesting in this League. Moreover, there is no way I can believe that Union Berlin is going to win the title, despite the fact that they are sitting on top of the table with the highest point total in the league.

In fact, Dortmund has the potential to be the best competitor for the title of the Bundesliga in this session. The only problem is that they keep losing at the most crucial moments of the game. To be honest, I am a bit skeptical about them.
1717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 26, 2022, 01:16:29 PM

I surely agree but even though Bayern Munich is not effective in the Bundesliga they are doing well in the UEFA Championship League, in fact, they are currently at the top of Group C with 2 wins, 0 draws, and 0 losses, I think if this keeps up they can not have a championship for the club, but in term of the Bundesliga championship that will be the problem I don't know if Nagelsmann is focusing more with the UEFA Championship but maybe he's got a plan with the Bundesliga aswell they surely just needs time to prepare,

Obviously, I get the fact that they are performing quite well in the Champions League, however, it is quite concerning that they are not able to perform at the same level in the German league as they do in the Champions League. Basically, they have a problem that they are not able to finish in the D-Box because they don't have enough players for that part. Despite playing well in the group stage of the Champions League, I do believe that their lack of a dynamic striker is going to hurt them more than anything else in the playoffs, which was actually the case for Manchester City in the last Champions League.
1718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 26, 2022, 11:37:32 AM
Conte's team are thriving fine this season, the currently sit at third position with few points below the league leaders Arsenal. They showed good character and resilience against Leicester City last weekend with previous seasons golden boot winner Son scored three goals in the game. Tottenham will face a tough challenge in their next game against Arsenal. This will show how much both teams are prepared to face tough competition this season.

There is no doubt that Tottenham Hotspurs are playing really well this season and will continue to do so. Nevertheless, I would really like to see them be very consistent in their performance. It is true that they are at the top of the table at the moment. Despite this, a single mistake could be very problematic for them going forward in this season if they make it.

Next up for them is a match against Arsenal on the first of October. Having won this match, they have a really good chance of being the first team on the table. If however, they are not able to win this match, Arsenal will go further ahead in terms of points on the table. Therefore, if Tottenham is able to win this match there will just make this table a lot more interesting for the rest of the season.

I don't carelessly post here, I read news about injured Barca players here;
https://www.malaymail.com/news/sports/2022/09/23/barca-duo-kounde-and-depay-suffer-injuries-in-nations-league/29780
in this article what is called the "FIFA virus". and we know that kounde has become one of barca's mainstays in the back line, he is a defender that xavi really needs in the el Clasico match later.
But losing Kounde isn't a very big problem for Barcelona, they still have Piqué, Eric García, and Christensen. I think Piqué-Christensen will be a good duo for the center-defenders in the upcoming El Classico. About Depay's injury, it won't impact anything for Barcelona attacking line since the main CF is Lewandowski. Depay is only a substitution player on Barcelona squad now, the absence of Depay shouldn't be a serious problem. You don't need to be so worried because most of Barcelona key players are still availbale.
In addition to Kounde who suffered an injury while defending his country, Barcelona also confirmed that Ronald Araujo also suffered a thigh injury, this condition is increasingly difficult for Barcelona because these two players have always been Xavi's choice to strengthen the Barcelona back line. Although Barcelona still have Pique, Eric Garcia and Christensen who can replace Kounde and Araujo, this condition remains a disaster for Barcelona because El Clasico is only three weeks away.
Depay's injury did not bother Xavi too much, because he was not the first choice in the Barcelona squad. De Jong also has problems with his legs, Xavi still has a strong midfielder in his squad. Franck Kessie, Sergio Busquets, Pedri, Sergi Roberto and Gavi who can be relied on in every match.

There is already a lot of uncertainty surrounding the defense of Barcelona. In addition, all these injuries are not going to help at all in any way. Barca is going to face a lot of problems in the defense with Koundé and Ara'jo out with injuries.

In my opinion, Pique can no longer be trusted with the defense anymore, he is very old and he does not have the pace required to play at a high level. From the beginning of this season, the defense of the team was already weak. In the area of attacking and midfield, I believe Barcelona have an excellent backup plan. It seems to me that they are going to have some real problems in the defensive lineup as a result of all these injuries.
1720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 26, 2022, 10:39:26 AM
For this season, the Bundesliga is no longer boring with several teams starting to show their good performances at the beginning of this season where Bayern Munich, which used to dominate the Bundesliga, has started to decline in consistency. Although that is not the end of Bayern Munich at this point because Bayern Munich still has time to perform well and occupy the top of the Bundesliga standings. But Bayern Munich actually have to fight first to win some games and also beat opponents who are already in the top position at this time.
It would be much more interesting to see not a "competitive" Bundesliga (due to the fact that Bayern fell into a losing streak) but the success of the German teams in the Champions League. At the moment, nothing has changed - Leipzig is in last place in the group with zero points, Bayer shares 2-3 place with Atlético (both teams are 3 points behind Brugge lol), Eintracht shares 2-3 place with Tottenham (3 points behind Sporting), Borussia in a clear second place (3 points behind City). It is very likely that again, apart from Bayern, no one will reach the playoffs or will be destroyed there in the first round.
