1701  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitstamp, 3677BTC Volume in last 15 mins on: March 10, 2017, 02:37:31 PM
nah , that was one big dildo and it did trigger some panic buys and then some panic sells hahaaha

i do not think the buying that started it was a misstake.  It might be the  waiting for verdict buys,   there is a big chance that ETF is being approved by default today.

Maybe the buying up wasn't a mistake but the dump down? this seems to happen every few months in bitcoin, is it bots or another whale who doesn't understand the trading platform and just market sells ?
1702  Economy / Speculation / Re: from 1200 to 1350 took only 4 minutes and still rising on: March 10, 2017, 02:35:36 PM
Why would someone pump the price up but then dump down below what the price originally was, makes no sense, that whale cost themselves hundreds of K.
1703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 10, 2017, 02:11:55 PM
Very impressive comeback by Barcelona against poor PSG I didn't expect for that kind of result. I picked over 3.5 goals and Barcelona found it into 1st half easily there.

I expected Barcelona to win, that was safe bet, but 6 : 1 is surprise for me. More then impressive comeback I would say, and 7 + goals was great bet for brave people. After this amazing win I can say that Barcelona can go to the finals.
Dortmund won without much trouble, 4 goals for them and next stage is waiting for them. I didn't doubt in them for a second, they are much stronger team then Benfica.

I'm a Madrid fan, but I have to congratulate Barcelona on this victory. They never gave up, and literally fought until the last second, and this is why they are through to the next round. This is hierarchy in football.

As for PSG, they should be embarrassed. This result has hurt not only their team, but also French football. Absolutely horrible from them. Enjoy your victory, Barca fans!

Yeah having watched the highlights now im going to be controversial and say barca got the raf on their side as that wa a dive by suarez for 1 of the penalties.
1704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 08, 2017, 10:05:52 PM
Madness Barca did it 6-1,it is why we love football 3 goals in 5 min
What a drama

I cannot believe what happened i just checked the final score, this must be the greatest comeback of all time? cant wait to watch highlights in a bit.
1705  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price after ETF 2500$? on: March 08, 2017, 01:31:28 PM
2500-3000$ each BTC?

Throwing around arbitrary figures won't get us anywhere.  Numbers of where Bitcoin could go after the ETF are generally based on weak speculation.  Frankly, it could go nearly anywhere.

If tons of new big time players enter the market it could get silly for a while. Hopefully just doubling the price over the next year would be a more true organic growth rate. But yeah why not up to 10k and back to 2k, who knows.
1706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoins is now same as paypal(and worst) on: March 08, 2017, 01:24:53 PM
I never spent a cent in transaction fees with Paypal...
Paypal is known for the highest transaction fee but i am quite surprised that you have never paid fees in paypal  Shocked

Personally i don't think bitcoin current fees should be compared with paypal fees, using paypal include lots of risk of chargebacks and account lockdown. And talking about fees yes if you are only trying to move less than 1$ in one transaction you have to pay a lot in fees but bitcoin fee structure is not designed on % basis so it will be almost same for transaction with both 1$ and 1000$ (if the transaction size remain same).

If you never sell anything you dont pay fees right.  It depends on what country you are from and what type of account you have.  Bitcoin does not change anywhere.
1707  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Booking hotels online throgu bitcoin on: March 08, 2017, 10:44:17 AM
Hi guys!

what do you think on my site ? http://isradown.biz/
soon you'll be able to book hotels with bitcoins and altcoins and NOW you can search your favorite hotel on the search. isn't it amazing ?

Not tried that one out i know you can use bitcoin right now @ expedia.  Also a few sites accept bitcoin for gift vouchers which can be used for hotel/travel.
1708  Economy / Gambling / Re: ►►DiceBack.com: Play as usual, get a % back! 5 sites, 6 games, 9 coins on: March 08, 2017, 10:40:53 AM
Can i use seuntjes bot with my account created with you?

In fact they're just registering you as an affiliate and giving back to you part of affiliate commission Wink

Nothing very complicated.
That means there is 0 additional rule.

Yeah thats the problem i pointed out.  Unless they can negotiate higher % back from the sites which might be possible for big affiliates. PD does 20% back for some affiliates and only 10% back for average joe, so you could give back anything over 10% and it makes sense for average joe to sign up through you.

As I wrote few times - in most of the Offered Dice Sites you are getting more than if you try 'self-referral' or other cheats. Others affiliates are giving you 0%. We are also working and over Global Leaderboard.

Ok yeah but not for me because i am on the 20% affiliate deal with PD, usually i pay any sign ups 12% but in the end its very hard to get anyone interested.
1709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoins is now same as paypal(and worst) on: March 07, 2017, 04:57:02 PM
Well, we have now to send transactions with a fee $1-$10 otherwise the transaction will never get confirmed

Just telling you, don't waste your time posting a thread on tech problems section

Even now transactions with less than 0.01 BTC will never get confirmed(or it will take longer)

You delvs didn't trough this could happend if the bitcoins went up the market?

Yeah, but good thing that I cashed out my bitcoins earlier haha.

Yeah its not the same as paypal for many reasons. BTW you can actually send fiat to friends and familty for free on paypal as long as you dont abuse the system.
1710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: March 06, 2017, 04:10:30 PM
I wonder how you do your research if a gambling site is scam or not?

Use your gut. Stick with established sites and remember there is strength in numbers so go where everyone else is going unless you are using small amounts you dont care about.
1711  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here is my trading strategy in case that the ETF will be approved or rejected: on: March 06, 2017, 12:21:37 PM
SODL.

-30% chance of aproval : hmm i must hold because some dudes are telling me so.
-chinese exchanges opening again : hmm i must hold because some dudes are telling me so.
- bitcoin in overbought : hmm i must hold because some dudes are telling me so.

ALWAYS check the stats, charts and technical data yourself. Dont lissen to some dudes that only say HODL.

Been hodling since I bought my stash at an average of 80 $ per BTC. The strategy has worked splendidly.

Listen to those dudes.

Nice, i remember i got some $80 mtgox coin but mtgox had a big chunk in the end so my average buy in was wayyy higher.  Even have some bought @ $900.

I don't think the Fans care about what Pep thinks of Aguero, if he wants to stay they will demand it. Pep was in a similar situation regarding Messi lack of pressing. We all know who won that battle. It would be wise not to make the same mistake Mr. Pep.

Yeah but messi is like the greatest player ever and cant be replaced. Aguero can be replaced by a few options in the world and they have the money.
1714  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here is my trading strategy in case that the ETF will be approved or rejected: on: March 06, 2017, 11:45:15 AM

If ETF rejected isn't that just 1 application anyway? aren't there others to come.  Maybe we'd see a $200 drop on the day followed by recovery.
1715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will storing bitcoin kill it? on: March 06, 2017, 11:43:07 AM
If everyone start storing bitcoin and there is no single transaction for days, all miners will quite mining as without transaction there would be no reward.
Will it not kill bitcoin and make it useless?

People would only store it if it has value. If the value dropped because to many people are storing it they are then storing something with little value so doesn't make much sense storing it.  Idk people have been hodling for 8 years and hasn't been a problem yet.
1716  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: March 05, 2017, 01:21:20 PM
I rarely use this payment system and no problem I have not encountered. I am sure that it is a reliable service. Many of my friends use PayPal for payments

It is definitely a reliable service, but some of there actions are too much problematic. The fees are still acceptable but the sudden freeze of funds, not letting to withdraw are some major issues faced by me.  But if this issues are away, then it is quiet easy for me to transact.

I'm using Paypal for a very long time around ten over the years, but my funds were never frozen. It looks like they may be suspecting the source of your funds. If you can able to prove that those are your funds then they will release those funds for sure. For online payments PayPal is very convenient and it is not a scam.

Its not a scam but just because of using fiat it lacks flexibility and is expensive. 3.4% + 20p to get paid for a product as a business for me, thats probably twice as high as i would like.
1717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 05, 2017, 01:19:28 PM
Big disappointment from Manchester United yesterday, an they messed up my parlay with Leicester :/
Today I'm going for Tottenham v Everton. Although first place is quite far, the fight for the rest top places is very strong. Tottenham will have a hard game, but is doing well at home and need to win this one, keep continue on a good spot for a champions league position. My bet is on a win for them.
It wont be hard, since Everton will try to benefit from United draw, and try to get close to them, or at least keep the same distance.

Tottenham v Everton
Tottenham @ 1.55

Leciester now won last 2 league games, dam its looking like the dressing room really fell out with CR.

Going for a tottenham win with kane scoring myself.
1718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Anyone Ever Tried Selling Bitcoin on a Market Stall? on: March 04, 2017, 07:04:19 PM
I haven't tried to sell bitcoin in a market stall. It is not that common to be sold in a market stall. In future, situations might prevail to give us such an opportunity to sell bitcoin.

I doubt its a trend that would grow tbh.  Bitcoin is a digital product its most likely people access it online with ease from their banks/paypal whatever.
1719  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What features would you like to see in a chat? on: March 04, 2017, 09:46:12 AM

Make it easy to sign up, just name, password and optional email.  Have extra security for people who want it (2FA etc).  Ability to PM users with notification sound on PM is a must.
1720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Anyone Ever Tried Selling Bitcoin on a Market Stall? on: March 04, 2017, 09:41:30 AM
I just wondered if anyone here had set up at a market and tried to sell Bitcoin to the public/tourists?

I think it's be a bit of advertising for Bitcoin for people that walk past and people may buy as novelty gift etc. (if done as fancy paper wallet).

I'm considering trying this in London, what do you guys think?

I'd always be worried about being targetted. It only takes 1 nutter to follow you home after and mug you.  I reckon it works better if you can own a shop with an ATM, even if you are funding the ATM trades.
