1701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 30, 2021, 03:45:03 PM
I had a prediction nightmare last weekend.
Everyone goes through these nightmare, even i had one bad card this month where most of my bets were lost.

He needs one big fight from a tough fighter to get back in the limelight I believe a trilogy between him and Poirier can get him back if he wins in their third match, the loss is very surprising, Connor is a known striker but was beaten on his game, I'm sure he'll keep his promise that he'll concentrate on rebuilding himself, one more loss and he is busted.
If he is aiming to get a title shot he needs to face Justin Gaethje which he avoided for the longest time, another top contender is Charles Oliveira who is a submission specialist and yet another tough opponent then you have the newly signed Michael Chandler who is a hard puncher with wrestling game and the other fighter he can face is Tony Ferguson.

Not sure McGregor will face anyone in the top of the table and he might go after Nate Diaz or ask for the Dustin Poirier trilogy.
1702  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTCs sudden rocket on: January 29, 2021, 11:11:21 PM
Just a single word "bitcoin" from one of the world's richest person changed the entire BTC market, I never expected such a big pump after dropping to 29k and again till 38k plus. I just want to know are people still buying because of a small hype?
Everyone is speculating that the market rallied because Elon Musk propelled without the help of his SpaceX and instead used social media to take the coin to rally once again Grin.
Month end and the market is crazy and surging once again and if Musk is the reason behind this rally then we will see a minor correction once again.
1703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About people that bought too early [and lost them] on: January 29, 2021, 10:15:39 PM
Secondly, it shows that, with the increasing worth of Bitcoin today, many of these stories will keep coming up, with people looking for ways to recover their wallet or access their abandoned harddrive etc. And lastly, there is every tendency that many people who had a lot, sold for a Penny and today would be regretting that decision.
It is literally impossible to recover the wallets if you forget the password, you can try with multiple combinations and try your luck and most of the users who abandoned their hard drives will remove the junk in due time and the possibility of regaining that is slim as well, there were many that got lucky after getting hard drives from dumpster and able to find bitcoin in the past i have these kind of stories and one thing is true that many of the early adopters had huge amount of coins but most of them booked their profit already.
1704  Economy / Economics / Re: Vaccination Started in India | Impact over Indian Economy & World? on: January 29, 2021, 07:48:40 PM
This has been my biggest worry the whole time, we do not have the means of production to vaccinate as many people, for the most part production facilities are not built until there is a demand for a specific product and the vaccines are going to take a lot of time to make, to distribute and to apply, we are already seeing supply issues with many countries receiving less than half of what they were promised and it does not seem as if this is going to improve anytime soon.
I have a doubt, India does have a billion population and i understand that the medical people will have the priority in getting the vaccines and there were reports that they will be exporting the vaccines as well, is it logically to export the medicine if they are not having the desired production to vaccinate their citizens before exporting them. I am not keen on taking the vaccination just yet but lets see the results and then i will consider.
1705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE To The Moon on: January 29, 2021, 06:33:29 PM
Yeah right, famous  people influenced the market.

It's expected to have more since Elon Musk really making a huge noise for this coin knowing his influenced to the entire business industries
he really provide opportunities to those who have a quick mindset riding with the fame and taking advantages of this trend.
I understand Elon Musk might have influenced the bitcoin market today but what is driving the doge coin market, in the past Elon Musk was instrumental in driving the dogecoin price as he used to mock everyone with his social media page about the doge coin and whenever he does the price usually rallies but who is this reddit group who is influencing the price which i am hearing for the past one week.
1706  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that a new ATH is coming or a crash? on: January 29, 2021, 04:34:25 PM
Although there is nothing wrong to be positive and be hopeful for something positive to happen this year.
I think that we should all just watch and wait for it to actually come instead of expecting too much and breaking our hearts.
Just monitor the market and if you are holding the coins make sure you have a target to book the profit, after a week of weak market today the market started to rise again and the situation is credited to Elon Musk for his tweet and i am wondering how come he is having this much influence with the entire market or there is some other reason for the rally is yet unknown.
1707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: January 29, 2021, 09:34:19 AM
I heard there was multiple people that were offered money to fight Jake Paul. Bisping said on a podcast that he was offered a contract, and countered the offer for more, and never heard back. That's a fight I can get behind, just because I believe Jake Paul really needs a reality check. Although, I'm not sure how much of his personality is for the cameras, but it seems that a lot of people within that space has claimed he's also very much the same off camera.
Michael Bisping could easily defeat Jake Paul but he is having a problem with the eye sight and it is not a secret anymore and the opponents can come up with a game plan that could hit him around his weaker eye. Jake Paul and Logan Paul made a career with social media presence and his brother became notorious when he posted the video of a dead body and i wont be surprised if they are crazy in real life as well Grin
1708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 29, 2021, 06:58:09 AM
After a terribly poor performance against New Zealand, it looks like Pakistan will win against South Africa. South Africa is leading by 76 runs, but they have lost 6 wickets. They don't seem to be able to give more than 150 targets. Pakistan should win this match easily
New Zealand is a really difficult team to beat in their home turf and the issue is that Pakistan never showed any signs of fight back while India with a depleted team was able to defeat Australia. Pakistan is playing in their turf and they should win the match as Pakistan just need 88 runs to win the match. The spinners bowled really well in this match and hopefully Pakistan will cross the finishing line without loosing much wickets.
1709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: January 28, 2021, 11:54:10 PM
Why is this a "Pro Boxing Match"? I know that Jake Paul is making his way into boxing, still, I don't see him lasting in that path but his opponent is an MMA fighter whose punching skills is not that great even inside the octagon. I don't know who will win here but even though Ben had a lot of matches than Jake, I think Jake has a higher chance of winning this match.
Jake Paul is not looking to be world champion in the sport of boxing, he only does celebrity fights that attracts a big crowd and that is the same path his brother is following as well and they are making millions by putting together these fights.
Not sure whether this will be a sanctioned bout, as long as people like these kind of spectacles we will see these match ups.
1710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 28, 2021, 04:59:22 PM
They even had Starc in their squad but it didn't change any changes in their history. Currently, RCB is loaded with young Indian talents like Sundar, Chahal, Siraj, Saini, etc but the one pace bowler is certainly missing who can clock 150kmph but due to the small ground it also end up bad for RCB. I think this year they need to invest on a good opening player which is the one lacking for them and Kohli and ABD come to the crease too early which shattered their entire plan.
RCB plays in small grounds, i have no idea about that. If that is the case they need to acquire spinners like Ashwin who have variety in their arsenal and having pace bowlers who can hit 150 kmph will not help them if the ground is small as any miss hit will go above the boundary, they need a bowler who could hit the yorkers and mix up the pace and their weakest link is quality bowlers.
1711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: January 27, 2021, 05:52:22 PM
Come on Ben, dont be a joke. This is not yours. There are more different ways to earn. Dont copy/paste Mayweather vs Logan Paul fight (even copy/pasted opponent name lol).
Jake Paul is the younger brother of Logan Paul if you are not aware of that and both the brothers were high school amateur  wrestlers and they were good at it and it would be great if Jake Paul and Ben Askren wrestled or did submission wrestling rather than box because Jake Paul is boxing along with his brother for big money and Ben Askren was never known as a good boxer in his MMA career.

Ben, if Jake Paul sends you to sleep, you will be humiliated till the end of your life.
Not sure what Ben Askren is thinking but the risk of getting humiliated once again is a possibility.
1712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH where BTC was in early 2017? on: January 27, 2021, 03:48:50 PM
There is argument to be made about this, that Ethereum is where BTC was in 2017 but the issue is that all these Dapps is making it difficult to onboard new users to Ethereum, if Billionaires can raise this issue that the gas price on Ethereum is very high, if Ethereum can sort itself out and come out with good scaling solution then Ethereum $10k here we come.
Do you think that billionaires should intervene so that the ETH developers should understand the real issue, hope you are aware of the update and hopefully the situation will be sorted when it is completely activated. I am not expecting the price to reach $10k anytime soon but what i am thinking is that what happens if the SEC comes out with a lawsuit against them as it is a real possibility in the near future considering the amount of scams that took place using the platform and they raised money just like Ripple during the initial stages for the project.

In another series Afghanistan whitewash Ireland even they was also in good position but sadly fail to handle every time and lost this serious very badly.
It was a great match, Ireland were in the match till Paul Stirling was in the crease, unfortunately once he was dismissed i jumped on to place a bet on Afghanistan to win the match as i knew they will use their bowlers smartly and Rashid Khan as always was the main bowler picking crucial wickets and i was impressed with the captaincy how they managed their bowlers.
1714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 26, 2021, 05:17:28 PM
SA vs Pakistan test match is also quite interesting on bowling friendly pitch. SA were wrapped under 220 and Pakistan have lost quick 4 wickets on just 33 runs. Pakistan bowled well to maintain them under 220 as opener Elgar played well for 58 and still not able to score big. But SA came back strongly by picking openers quickly and game is balanced now.
Pakistan bowled well especially their spinners and i thought their batsman will take advantage of the situation and take a lead but they already lost 4 wickets but one wicket was their night watchman but their star player Babar Azam is back in the pavilion and they need to build partnership to be competitive in the match. I am not familiar with the Pakistan batsman but what surprised me is that the South African fast bowlers picked the top order wickets and Maharaj will play a crucial role in the match.

Recently he got another huge win. At current bitcion rate it's more than 5 million dollars! He have wagered more than 10k btc in daily race today. Still 3 hours left for this race and Bitcoinerz continuously making big bets. Maybe he will reach the newest VIP rank soon. I have no words left to say anything about this huge win. It's just amazing Shocked
He is crazy and this by far the biggest win i have seen this year and i wonder how much he lost as he was rolling with over 3BTC as base bet and i have seen him loosing a lot as well but to win $5 million in one roll is just amazing and during that time the entire site was slow and the chat was crazy and hope he will find peace and stop wagging rather than busting everything  Grin.

Lack of experience and not ready to stay on pitch for longer time results in this. Like considering the first innings played by SL many of us were impressed and hoping to continue and put a good fight in the match.
Sri Lanka is playing in their own grounds and they cannot field a competitive team to face England while the England spinners took advantage and took all the wickets while Sri Lanka struggled in the trap they set for England is a much bigger shame and England proved they are a world class team and could defeat teams in Asia.

The biggest challenge is the tour to India and it will be really competitive.

12 members from West Indian squad withdraw due to Covid-19 and now this B team is struggling very badly as in last two ODI's they completely fail to give any impression today its same story very good batting from Bangla Tigers they can manage to win this series by 3 - 0 which is good for them as Shakib is also back and doing very good for team but West Indies is very long and same story goind down day by day even with few very talented players we have no positive hopes.
I missed out in the match, but once i saw the West Indies squad i was confused on what to take of it as i could not identify a single player and i should have place a full house bet on Bangladesh to win the match. Will look forward for the next match to place the bet, the odds were low but against a strong Bangladesh team and in their own ground it is hard for the new West Indies players to compete.
1718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua on: January 25, 2021, 01:00:47 PM
I'll consider myself betting on draw, it's likely possible since this is a first fight, promoters are sometimes corrupt, they want to make a controversy so they can again make huge money in the next fight, it's not new actually, the boxing sport is corrupt so we have to be more careful in putting our bet.
Placing a small bet on a draw is fine, if you look at the history of these controversial draws there is a common theme, all the fights taking place in the US ends up in a draw if it is a big fight and i do not remember any high profile fight going for a draw in England but anything is possible.

I read that they agreed to a two-fight deal, even if there's a knock out they deserve to have a two-fight deal and there's a possibility of a trilogy if they have it one for each other, with two great fighters in the caliber of Joshua and Fury they need two fights so we'll know who really is the best fighter between the two.
The first fight will determine who is the superior talent, the boxing promoters usually goes for multiple fights to reap the maximum benefit and usually the rematch will have a much bigger audience and it is good for the fans as we are waiting for these battles for a long time.

Lasith Embuldeniya picked his 8th wicket of the match and if he can spin his magic we might see them win.
Lasith Embuldeniya is bowling well and picking up wickets but Sri Lanka is not having the score on board to win the match. England just need 51 more runs to win the Test with 6 wickets in hand, if he can spin his magic he needs to pick up an hat trick and expose the tail end players to win the match which is highly unlikely. If Muttiah Muralitharan was in the team they would have already won the match  Cheesy.
1720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bad will the bear market of 2021 get? How low will BTC go? on: January 25, 2021, 09:21:18 AM
keep in mind the increment this time looks like a big bubble. and you know what awaits. corrections or even changing trends are normal this year. I personally believe that at that time bitcoin will experience a big fall. 10k is not impossible, because in 2018 bitcoin fell to 5x. and imagine if there is a repeat, maybe bitcoin could fall below 10k.
Every rally in bitcoin looks like a big bubble, in the past rallies some of the wallet street investors were comparing the bitcoin rally to the tulip mania which means that the price of bitcoin will not ever rise again, but by now they have a clear understanding that they were wrong in judging the bitcoin market and so is the reason you see many institutional investors and businesses including bitcoin in their portfolio or in their business.

The fall might be big and i wont be surprised if the valuation goes below $10k, i was not fortunate enough to invest more like i wanted last year due to obvious reasons and next time around i will not miss the opportunity.
