1741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUD Has Finally Taken Its Toll on Me on: July 18, 2022, 02:29:56 AM
Three weeks ago, I liquidated 10k from my stock portfolio into my bank account. My plan was to dump it into Bitcoin as soon as it dipped under 17k. But now, for the first time since I got into crypto investing in 2017, I'm having major doubts.

I'm beginning to wonder whether Bitcoin has a long-term future, now that much of the world's nations are caught up in this 'climate' hysteria, and want to ban proof-of-work protocols, like Bitcoin, which they claim is harmful to the environment.

For example, the EU recently held a vote to ban proof-of-work mining across member nations*. Thankfully, the vote failed, but this wasn't the first time they attempted it, and I don't think it'll be the last. Eventually, as younger and more 'progressive' individuals enter positions of political power in Europe, my guess is that they'll succeed. And, once they do, the other chimpanzees in countries around the world will follow them, potentially causing the demise of our beloved cryptocurrency.

Thoughts?

Assuming bitcoin will be banned from mining in EU it doesn't mean bitcoin will also be banned from mining in other countries. EU is only part of the world not the world is part of EU, you are overestimating EU.

Like China before, once the country with the largest number of miners in the world, after the ban was issued, the miners moved to other countries and the mining did not stop. There will always be countries that see the potential of bitcoin and they are ready to welcome it like El Salvador.
1742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to be a blockchain based developer ?? on: July 18, 2022, 02:19:28 AM
Hello All! i would like to Become a blockchain developer But i have no any basic knowledge of coding or blockchain  . i was encouraged to be a blockchain developer by searching about bitcoin . show me the way to achieve my goal . completely a newbie To coding. how should i begin ??

To start my dream of becoming a blockchain developer, I think it's best to sign up for a class at the center or an online course in programming languages. From the basics as a programmer, you can develop yourself on the path you choose as a blockchain developer.

You will have a hard time becoming a blockchain developer if you start with bitcoin and blockchain while you do not know anything about programming languages such as C, Python...

It's hard to understand Sterling's departure from City. I'm talking about a football player who has won four League titles, an FA Cup Cup and a Champions League runner-up. These are from City time. Just when he's approaching the top of his game. City got a good transfer fee with one year left on the player's contract. But that cannot be reason enough. Because they lost a very good football player. I admit he has been unhappy lately but he would have stayed with the team if he had been given more time. I hope his new team gets a good career at Chelsea.
Rahim Sterling has served his purpose at Manchester City, and now is the time to leave and accept a new challenge since there is no point in remaining in a place where your service is no longer valued. Sterling departed for a fresh challenge because Manchester City had recently made new signings and all of those players needed playing time. I wish him nothing but success in his career.

I am thinking the same way. Rahim Sterling has been at Manchester City for 7 seasons. And he won several titles with Manchester City. And he is now 27 years old. This is the perfect time to take on new challenges. If he was older, he could not have gone to any good team. I hope he will adapt quickly to the new team Chelsea. And will improve his performance with the experienced Tuchel.
1744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: July 17, 2022, 08:17:44 PM
Barcelona are probably trending everywhere. Its still a shock to me personally as the Bluagrana president, Joan Laporta have bring in vital players despite their pending debts. The team is currently down with financial instability and it's a censorious problem for the team. However, the president is proving beyond doubt that he's capable to manage the club and the Coach, Xavi is still fighting for a place to retain Frankie De Jong in his squad. Nevertheless, United have already reached agreement with the price tag but the former Ajax Midfielder might as well be staying in the team for another season.

It was really surprising to see Barcelona pulling off this transfer come true. No one in their right mind thought that Barcelona was able to get Robert Lewandowski especially after they had just executed a transfer worth probably 60 million for Raphinha. So Barcelona has spent 110 million euros on the transfer window in a matter of days. That's a luxury a lot of clubs with healthy financial situations cannot afford. Barcelona is making these transfers despite having debts worth billions of dollars. Now the only way Barcelona is able to make a substantial amount of money is they will have to win almost everything that there is to be won in the next season.
1745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 17, 2022, 04:49:27 PM
How can you forget Nepal who is another good cricket side but never received icc attention just because they can't buy expats players ? ICC clearly is giving more preference to teams like Oman and UAE rather then focusing on such teams that are build completely from native players.
There is no doubt ICC current policies are killing teams which are going with their native countries, and they are completely failure to bring any solid policy for them which is never been ideal for spots authority like ICC they need to encourage these countries which are surely having better future in this game instead of favouring those are coming in game with adopted players and have no better infrastructure.

If they want to favour them then surely allow nearly five or six players but going with all 11 players from other countries and having status of adopted country is never been ideal situation which is surely bringing bad image and having negative impact on countries like PNG, Nepal and Kenya. In last few years now players from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh are enjoying good in these adopted countries because they have good benefits from them just because of their better resources and native country players are going down.

Does Nepal hold talent hunts quite frequently? I don't think they do. Otherwise, they should have had a lot more players. A lot of young talented players in the pipeline. Nepal was a team that had a lot of potential if we just looked at it a few years ago. Nepal was playing quite competitively and it also was giving a lot of trouble to teams like Bangladesh, West Indies, Ireland, etc. But suddenly they just got lost in time.

I think they will have to show a good performance again if they want to get noticed by the ICC and also have a little more funding. And they will not be able to perform well as long as they don't have good players of their own. And let's be honest, the people of the country are not going to let their kids play cricket as a profession if the money is not good.
1746  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022? on: July 17, 2022, 02:43:01 PM
seeing the movement from the beginning of the year only once in March bitcoin can and is able to increase more, after that it doesn't look at all that bitcoin can increase and I am pessimistic that it will improve quickly especially to be able to reach $100K.
It's too hard $100K will be reached in 2022, I wouldn't really believe in that but always feel optimistic that good things will still happen for the bitcoin price this year. I have no doubts about bitcoin's future potential over the long term, but for the rest of the year I seriously doubt $50K or anywhere near the previous ATH will be achieved.

So $100K in 2022 still doesn't make much sense to me, but really no one knows for sure when $100K will be reached. I'm sure the next halving will have an impact on price increases, but at the moment the selling pressure is still very strong making it difficult to break the new resistance.

As far as we can tell, there is nothing we can do to predict when bitcoin will reach $100k, but we are only certain that bitcoin will reach 100k$ in the future. Honestly, I'm not optimistic at the moment, bitcoin won't rise anytime soon as bitcoin shows the possibility of a drop still happening this year. What I am waiting for will be a new bitcoin bottom rather than a bull run this year, I am waiting for bitcoin to drop in price to accumulate more of my bitcoin.
1747  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do we spot the crypto bottom? on: July 17, 2022, 02:34:07 PM
Where will be the bottom and where will be the highest, everyone wants to know this, but unfortunately no one can know. All are just predictions based on each investor's experience and knowledge. You shouldn't waste time looking for the bottom of bitcoin,  it will not give accurate results but just waste your time and miss the opportunity to buy bitcoins at a good price. Buy when you feel it's the right price for you and your goals.
1748  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Bitcoin soon returns to $25K - $30K on: July 17, 2022, 02:20:48 PM
My vote goes for "More buyers will step in" because right now, everyone is looking out for a bottom.

We know about Bitcoin's cycles.
When we reach a certain amount of $ per Bitcoin, people are getting FOMO and we can enter a new bull market.
But we need to reach a certain price above our current low for people to get enough trust.

I also predict there will be more buyers if bitcoin price hits 30k.  There are many people waiting for bitcoin to fall further before purchasing, but if bitcoin rises to 30k, then they will jump in to buy as they think their prediction is wrong, and they do not want to miss the opportunity to buy cheap bitcoin. Many will say that the bear season is over and the bull season has come when bitcoin hits 30k, there will be a certain Fomo at that point.
1749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 16, 2022, 03:30:23 PM
To be honest, I didn't expect this to finally become a reality, because so far the Lewandowski transfer saga has been quite complicated and long-winded to take up a lot of time even though Lewandowski actually wanted the move, Bayern Munich, who kept charging high prices for Lewandowski, forced Barcelona to fail again and again to finalizing the deal and it looked like a move would be impossible when Lewandowski started his return to training camp with Bayern Munich, but now Barcelona fans should be relieved and grateful that Barcelona has managed to land one of the best strikers in the world.
The signing of Lewandowski was quite time-consuming for Barcelona because their offer was rejected several times but in the end Bayern agreed to Barcelona offer. Lewandowski is very interested in joining Barcelona because maybe he wants to experience the Ballon d'or with Barcelona in the future. It will be interesting to enter the LaLiga competition next season because the arrival of Lewandowski will increase the prestige of LaLiga as it used to be because there is already fierce competition in the title race next season.
Because it was Lewandowski's wish for Barcelona and in the end they managed to play in LaLiga and compete with Real Madrid to be Barcelona's toughest opponent.
Lewandowski seems to have a good plan and he is a very good player even though he is 33 years old but for the next two seasons he will be fine and I would not expect his performance to drop with age but this is the love he wants to play at Barcelona.

Although Lewandowski is 33 years old, he is expected to be able to continue his impressive performances for at least 2 more seasons. He has played very well in the last few years with Bayern Munich. And now he has taken on a new challenge in La Liga. Having played in the Bundesliga for a long time, it may take some time to adapt to the La Liga gameplay. Lewandowski is talented and experienced, he will be able to adapt to the players of the Barcelona team very quickly.

West Indies VS Bangladesh

Like the first two ODIs, West Indies are likely to lose the last match as well. Bangladesh won the toss and allowed West Indies to bat first. But their collection was 28/3 in 13 overs and West Indies lost 3 wickets for just 16 runs. Like today we are seeing West Indies' batting weakness. West Indies will lose all wickets before 200 runs.

After losing 3 wickets for just 16 runs, they managed to collect 79 runs in 25 overs without losing any more wickets. Nicholas pooran collected 30 and Keacy Carty is able to collect 32 runs. Although their run rate is now only 3.15. But now it is more important for them to survive at the crease than to score runs. Pooran and Carty are batting well.
1751  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the Mt. Gox coins affect Bitcoin’s price in August? on: July 15, 2022, 01:53:01 PM
It is difficult to predict what will happen in this case, it is more likely that those who need money will sell their bitcoins as soon as they receive them. Those who don't need cash urgently may not be in a hurry to sell bitcoin because they already know that bitcoin is in a bear market and has lost more than 60% of its value against ATH. They have waited almost 8 years to get their bitcoin back and they may be willing to wait a little longer to be able to sell bitcoins at the best price they expect.
1752  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret buying before the dip on: July 15, 2022, 01:41:36 PM
We never know whether the current price has dipped or not, if we compare it with ATH that has happened of course we have already gotten a discount of more than 70%, and this fact makes me have to buy bitcoin immediately before it skyrockets again.
Bitcoin is not going to skyrocket sny Time soon because the bearish market is still having long strong effect this time. This is nice time ro buy Bitcoin because we should expect it increment from the year next upper not now Bitcoin still going down couple with the brother Ethereum and othe associates, for me i will buy Bitcoin when the price reached below ten thousand dollars and thirteen thousand but i know that price will take time before it will reach such level because of how people is bumping the market to come up, when you observe cryptocurrency you see that many people is buying because of profit of bullish market

Bitcoin will not recover anytime soon, but waiting for 10k-13k is not a price I believe will be achievable. Bitcoin would be worth a very low price if it were to happen.  I also think bitcoin will still drop and my target is 15k but I also start buying when bitcoin price hits 19k because I think market is very unpredictable it wont be what we think and I don't want to regret if it goes back up instead of going down. I bought at $19k and will keep buying if bitcoin falls below $17k.
1753  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can the price Hit back $50k this month? on: July 15, 2022, 01:29:33 PM
I think it's very difficult to break through at 50k. we have to be realistic looking at the current state of the world, many countries are in trouble so surely people will put aside in terms of investing, especially investing in the crypto world. people will definitely be more concerned with the state of food than investing. maybe For now, especially in June, bitcoin's movement will stagnate.

50k is a far-fetched goal this month or even the end of the year. Well, with the current economic situation, food crisis, energy crisis, people will not invest during this time but will focus on finding ways to get through this difficult period first. Therefore, investment channels still have a difficult period and cash flow will continuously withdraw from the market. With the Fed about to raise interest rates, I think the market will continue to withdraw and the bearish season will last.
1754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: July 14, 2022, 10:29:08 PM
At least Real Madrid are kings and lucky because their key players last season can maintain good fitness, so they can consistently play with discipline. Speaking of competition next season, I personally can still believe that Real Madrid will still be able to be ranked at the top of the La Liga standings. But the competition will probably be tougher, as Barcelona continue to make efforts to build a team with a better squad but that doesn't mean Barcelona have a guarantee of winning the title.
Real Madrid are unpredictable, so we are always amazed by what they have achieved. Even next season, Real Madrid is still a worthy candidate as a trophy winner. doesn't rule out the possibility right? based on what has been passed and achieved so far Real Madrid shows that their quality can still be at stake. Even though in the Champions League and La Liga, Real Madrid has competing clubs that strengthen its attacking line, but that doesn't make Real Madrid easy to beat.

I have to admit that Karim Benzema was the most valuable player for Real Madrid last season. Obviously, he had a big impact on the results that Real Madrid achieved. However, I do agree that Real Madrid had successful teamwork. We can say that because Real Madrid did not have a reliable defensive lineup last season. Whenever they lost the ball they rushed back to defend in large numbers to ensure that no gaps were left in the defense. But I have to say the most impressive part was the management. Otherwise, I don't think they could have won the Champions League title.
1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 14, 2022, 08:04:19 PM
Jann-Fiete Arp was a young player with a lot of hope at Hamburger SV. However he went to Bayern Munich in 2019 and has only been allowed to play in the second team in the season 2020/21. He was then loaned to Kiel in 2021. Now he has signed a contract there until 30 June 2024.
It's a shame I think when Jann-Fiete Arp came to Bayern Munich his career was not smooth because he was often plagued with injuries and also, while playing for Hamburger Jann-Fiete Arp basically did not have a high contribution to the team. I'm just surprised, Bayern Munich actually signed him and in the end just to play in Bayern 2 it was a bad career because he only played in the Bayern Regionalliga and we can say it was the fourth division. But finally Jann-Fiete Arp can continue to play at Holstein Kiel, at least it will be good to shape his career better because he plays in the 2. Bundesliga at the age of 22 years.

Fiete Arp is only 22 years of age, he has a lot of time ahead of him. So, there is no need for him to worry about anything. He should just concentrate on playing and how to get better. He will surely be recognized by teams from the Bundesliga if he can show his abilities in the second Bundesliga.

If he can move to a team that is in the Bundesliga and performs really well he will surely be targeted by a lot of big teams. I just feel like he was never given the chance of reaching his full potential. Now he has to work really hard to get recognized once again.
1756  Other / Archival / Re: What do you expect from bitcoin in the second half of 2022? on: July 13, 2022, 03:08:16 PM
Yes, Bitcoins have already tortured very badly to all of us in the first half.
So atleast we expect something better at the second half.
If not the best, then atleast recover to it’s original price.
In this bear market, the whole crypto market has become red, so in the later half atleast there should be a good graph.
We need to just wait and watch. Many have already predicted that this half won’t be very bad.
We need to also show some support by buying as much Bitcoins as we can in this cheaper price.

What is the original price you would like to refer to? , As of right now, the price is still around 19k$-20k$, 60% below its all-time high. The world economy is struggling and volatile assets like bitcoin will not benefit. As a prediction, I still predict the rest of the year we will continue to see new lows for bitcoin and can't wait for a market surprise. I will still focus on collecting bitcoin until the end of the year, I hope we will be better in early 2023.
1757  Economy / Speculation / Re: [2022-07-11] Bloomberg UK - Bitcoin Is More Likely to Hit $10,000 Than $30,000 on: July 13, 2022, 02:57:44 PM
I do not have to care if bitcoin will hit $10000 or not, but I think bitcoin can not be that low. The price of bitcoin has decreased from $69000 to $20000, that is a huge drop. There is nothing bad to start using dollar cost average to invest in bitcoin. This is bear time, it is normal that some analysts will only want to create panic and overestimate just like when some analysts created fomo during bull market by saying bitcoin will hit $100k, but which actually didn't happen.

Today, the US announced CPI and inflation increased to a record 9.1% higher than expected, which makes the FED will certainly raise interest rates sharply in the next months of the year. I think the bitcoin price will suffer and will continue to fall but 10k is really an unlikely price for bitcoin.

They're just like us, they're all just predictions, they're just trying to get attention by predicting bitcoin prices like that, which happens often with analysts.
1758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 13, 2022, 02:38:56 PM
Right, I already said it above. Friendly matches don't really mean anything to these teams because maybe they don't play seriously the whole game. So I wouldn't really believe it was a bad start for Liverpool, but it's a good sign for Manchester United.
This is match is just to see the opponent's strength and entertain people in Bangkok. So the scenario could be if there are most MU fans inside then Liverpool will be a bit slow to make how MU wins. So, I believe win or lose, both will receive the money whatever the result. I also see Klopp just sitting on a bench, this is different from when Liverpool playing in the premier league, where he never had time to sit or just drink water.
This is make sense about the entertaining part, and the team might not give their 100%, but it's unlikely that the match or score is fixed. And both coaches will absolutely trying their new actual strategy that they will use in League, Indeed the win does not matter, but how the play does matter, it will give a glance at how they will play for main season.

In these friendly matches the teams form teams with their second-row or third-row players. Even if there is a star player on the team, he does not give full effort for a good game. And so it is foolish to check the strength of the teams by looking at the results of these friendly matches. I watched some parts of the match between Liverpool vs Manchester United. Liverpool have attacked a lot but failed to score a single goal. On the other hand, Manchester United made few attacks, but every attack was strong.
1759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 13, 2022, 02:26:03 PM
West Indies vs Bangladesh

The second ODI match between West Indies and Bangladesh is going to be held today. Since this is an ODI match, I think the Bangladesh team is the favourite. Though weak in T20 and Test formats, Bangladesh is strong enough in ODI format. Proof of this they gave in the first ODI match. They dominate the whole match and won. My guess is that Bangladesh will win today's match and they will ensure the series win.
I also think Bangladesh will win today's game.  Bangladesh player Shakib Al Hasan I like his game very much.  I think he will play much better today.
Like the first ODI, I expect the same thing to happen here and they will win the series. Now that Bangladesh have won the toss, they will decide to bowl first. You may be interested to know that Shakib Al Hasan has opted out of the West Indies three-match ODI series.

I am very surprised to see the performance of the West Indies. They have collected only 28 runs in 12 overs. They have averaged 2.6 runs per over. Shai Hope has scored 9 runs off 28 balls. Shamarh Brooks collected 1 run off 8 balls. I don't understand why they are batting like this. Is the pitch completely bowling-friendly? Or do West Indies players want to not lose wickets? But they already lost Kyle Mayers's wicket.
1760  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You should not worry about BTC price action on: July 13, 2022, 02:20:45 PM
They will never make big profits if they stay that way because they can't hold their coins until the price increases again. But most people will behave like that, selling their coins when the price drops instead of selling at the highest price because they always expect the price to continue to increase. Maybe sometimes it can happen but we also have to know that the price can't always be like that so we have to be prepared if another decline occurs.
At first glance, this is the behavior of newbies who do not care about their own assets (including assets such as Bitcoin) so they prefer to sell them when prices are falling because they think that prices will continue to decline. Even though the best coins like Bitcoin can always stay in a good position and are also in demand by many people so selling them at low prices is a mistake because they don't defend themselves.

It's not that they don't care about their assets, it's that they have no expertise and are afraid of losing money. As they have never experienced a bitcoin drop before, they will be panicking when they see a 60-70% drop in bitcoin, even though this is a completely normal thing for us to experience on a regular basis. Bitcoin has always held its position as the most valuable coin in the market and bitcoin in the long term is a consistently good growing asset.
