I really thought I'd place better. I feel like micro judging has something to do with it. It's ok, I know Stunna would've put me higher, so for that, I appreciate you, and the contest you offered.

MICRO is very judgemental, and for some reason he hates me too. Oh well, it's a giveaway after all.

First of all i only VOTED , i wasn't the only "judge" . We all had ours own list , then we overplayed it with each other and we all agreed on top 6 .

My logic was that would be good to have 1 best promo video , 1 funny video and 1 tutorial in top 6 . So something from everything.

And list from 7-16 isn't arranged by best to worst , its just people that did make the cut arranged by the time they posted. Since prize is same for all.

Top 6 videos are rly top 6 , i hardly believe somebody will find more than 1 or 2 video that shoulda been in top 6 and if so what videos shoulda been out ?

Its rly fucking hard to do this stuff , there was a lot of good videos and they can't all be first place (i wish they could) .

So would be nice if u guys can be grateful for this great opportunity to win some coins , and wait for the next one Smiley .

Every bully has an excuse. You could've just said sorry and not made any. I do forgive you anyway though, but please be nicer to me.
On a more positive note, good luck to everyone tonight!

Yeah, i never say sorry, i am evil, im a bully ... What i can do , its in my nature Smiley .

On a more positive note , good luck to everybody tonight. Ur video is also pretty good , im sure it will be pretty high up on the list. Smiley

WARNING-WARNING-WARNING-WARNING-WARNING-WARNING-WARNING-WARNING-WARNING-WARNING-WARNING-

The response from the developer you quoted is hard to understand, but it sounds as if they're saying that after the incorrectly settled bets you went on to double one or two more times before winning, and that at no point did the incorrectly settled bet cause you to bust a martingale sequence.

So by refunding you 0.14 rounded up to 0.2, they're giving you more than they needed to.

You could argue that if you bet like this:

0.01 (incorrectly settled as loss)
0.02 (loss)
0.04 (loss)
0.08 (win)

Then your profit should have been 0.01, and it actually WAS 0.01, and so they don't owe you anything. Or could you argue that if the first bet was settled correctly, your bets would have gone:

0.01 (win)
0.01 (loss)
0.02 (loss)
0.04 (win)

and so your profit would have been 0.01 + 0.01 = 0.02, and so their error cost you 0.01 which they now owe you. It's hard to say what the right thing to do is.

But your main point (other than the delay in resolving this whole mess) seems to be that they can't prove that you didn't go:

-0.01 (incorrectly settled)
-0.02
...
-1
-2
-4

at some point.

I don't see how they can prove that to you now. You don't have a record of your bets, and they could in theory make up anything they want. What if they give you a list of all your bets, with betids, and just edit the bit where you busted? You wouldn't be able to tell the difference, because you don't have a record to compare it to.

If it was me, I would just give you a database dump of all your bets, with betid, stake, roll, seeds etc. and let you look through it for yourself and verify everything. That seems like the simplest solution here.

That's what i was trying to argue with him long time ago. They paid him the bets even thou he won't that later. That's why i said he shouldn't get any refund but they decided to refund him and much more than he actually lost.

Now i just don't even read that long post coz i know that its so unfair from his side.

Its rly difficult situation to handle and they done it the way that costs them more than it should . And he is posting like they scammed him.

So this time i will just stay out of it , and not get into argument with players .

Anybody can fire off the same tired "It's all random!" bullshit tripe which is technically true, but the point is that patterns do exist within the randomness and it's much more rewarding for me to play on guessing where those patterns will land

Patterns exist in random numbers in the same way that patterns exist in the decimal digits of pi or in the clouds.

The thing about them is that you can only spot them after they happen, and they have no predictive power.

You can look at the clouds and say "that one looks like a dog", but you can't go on to justifiably say "therefore tomorrow there will be a cloud that looks like a big mac". Maybe you'll say it anyway, and maybe you'll be right, but the dog cloud had nothing to do with it.

Maybe you'll see the dog cloud followed by the big mac cloud a few times, and you'll start to believe in the predictive power of the dog cloud, but you would be fooling yourself.

Dooglus are u like 100years old man ? So much wisdom in ur posts Cheesy .

I think I'll still show up for a weekly 0.1 5-20x YOLO on Fridays but I will no longer be hanging out in the chat room or betting regularly.

So it's Friday, and I'm keeping my word.  I was pretty nervous doing this one and don't like showing up on high rollers.  Shocked

Woww... Cyyy nicely done !!! Smiley That's going to fb page if u don't mind Smiley

Math can give u some estimate but it doesn't mean much in real life. As proven by Hufflepuff . He wagered 60k btc and is in profit of 2000 when he should be in about -600 .

For that stuff i don't rely on math to much.

What Hufflepuff did was something like a 2% chance. Unlikely, but not unreasonable. He had a 1 in 50 chance of doing what he did.

The screenshot that was posted was something like a 1 in a quadrillion chance. Unreasonably unlikely.

We can say that it's plausible that Hufflepuff wasn't cheating, and that it's incredibly likely that the screenshot of 9 losing 98% bets in a row was fake.

A 1 in 50 shot is many orders of magnitude more likely to happen than 1 in 2 quadrillion.

We rely on math and probability for Bitcoin itself. There's a small but non-zero chance that I can guess the PD cold storage private key, but math tells us that's very unlikely, and so we trust that it won't happen.

Hehe... Well that is true . Smiley .
