In other news we've hit 5 billion bets! There is a giveaway going on @ facebook.com/officialprimedice

Well this must be a joke  Huh

Quote
In the normal spirit of Primedice, we'll be giving away 0.001 BTC to everyone who comments their Primedice username in the comments.

Limited to the first 500 people so get in quick! All accounts will be credited within 72 hours.

That is what you call spirit?

That's disappointing for a giveaway. For such a milestone hand out at least 5BTC and not the tiny sniff of small change.

LOL ... Disappointing giveaway ? Never knew there is such thing .

Now we should decide how much money they will giveaway to us FOR FREE ?

I think it's hilarious that PD blocks US players, then advertises on US-based sites like Twitter and Facebook and Snapchat.

Twitter HQ
1355 Market Street Suite 900
San Francisco, CA 94103

Facebook HQ
1 Hacker Way
Menlo Park, CA 94025

Snapchat HQ
63 Market Street
Venice, CA 90291

HILARIOUS I TELL YA.

This giveaways are not advertising . Its just giveaways . U dont need to share post , or like it or anything u just need to post ur username.

Stole your state of the mind artwork. Bummer!

Slow down, take a deep breath, and see if you can somehow string a sentence together. It's worth the effort because then maybe people will understand whatever it is you are trying to communicate with us.

I doubt people fall for those kind of application downloads or exe downloads. Even if something like that existed, primedice would shutdown the site the instant they find out something like that.

If people didn't fall for it he wouldn't keep posting that link. It has been going on for months now. You're underestimating just how dumb some people are.

People do fall for it . This guy was spamming it all over primedice chat now we have some automute to prevent most of it but still he is posting it everywhere . Its unbelievable how people fall for it , but they do.

Maybe to avoid any such problems, and the previous problem that happened, you can just block any links to any external websites.

That would be so much of a overkill . And would ruin it for all the other people that know better than to fall for such a cheep scams.

Why people are saying good bye ? Smiley U can use simple VPN , like hola extension for chrome u can set it to go over vpn only on primedice so when u are on other sites it doesnt go over vpn.

I used it for netflix it works like a charm.

If we use free VPN, they could steal our data / add some ads to every site we visit
But, we don't waste our money by purchasing premium VPN too Sad

Well yeah that is true u would need to trust that vpn .

But u could use it only for pd. And they dont add ads to sites.

Friends,

Effective immediately Primedice will no longer accept deposits from visitors located within certain jurisdictions including the US. While Primedice is neither operated nor based in the USA, we've chosen to take proactive measures to mitigate long term risk for our users and service. The legal landscape is quickly shifting and we are choosing to completely block deposits from users located in what we've deemed as higher risk jurisdictions.

Primedice does not make use of US currency nor banking, and this block is not recognition that bitcoin gambling is illegal. This decision has been solely based off of discussions between Primedice and our legal counsel.

I know this news will disappoint many of you, however we're strong believers in Bitcoin and are playing defensively to secure our long term position at the top of this rapidly growing industry.  We're confident that every major online casino will accept Bitcoin within the next five years and we're determined to compete directly with them by continuing to create new disruptive experiences. We've been lucky enough to see the transformative power of Bitcoin with regards to gambling from a first hand perspective and are confident this is the right decision moving forward.

Thank You,

Primedice Team

Can you list the other certain jurisdictions that you mentioned apart from the US? any issue with playing there again by using vpn or other ip changer application? Even if you make this announcement im afraid that many people from US will still play there by using vpn or the other ip changer

I don't think there will be an issue using a VPN or a proxy unless PrimeDice decides to block those too.

You are right there is no announcement about using VPN , but still it is not clear enough for me that is why Im asking for confirmation, because I dont want them to block my account and dont allow me to withdraw if they knew that I access it from VPN.

Not gonna happen . Im 100% sure u can use VPN and there is no way for primedice to tell u come from US or whatever. And there is not much will to know that to so u will be good Smiley .

In bitcoin world and gambling , we should all use VPN's anyways privacy is the big thing lately Smiley .

Oh my this will be upsetting to many, it could be worse though.  At least with primedice they dont take your details to gamble like fiat sites.

Use VPN's and never care about stuff like that Wink

Well sometimes new users get tips but not most likely since we dont know if they are just alts of the same person . So usualy when u stick around a bit u get it.

is Hui going on i see his profit has fallen a bit more :O its -20.56 now Sad this is painful to watch Sad

he will soon end up having no money in my opinion if he will keep on betting those 9900x

yeah, but hes a mod so he gets paid btc as well.

Mods dont get paid, but of course sometimes we get tips from the community.

Yeah only hui gets paid but just 2 btc per week so its almost like nothing Cheesy .

2BTC/week is almost nothing ? Roll Eyes

Its ours internal joke Cheesy

JK JK dont spam hui for tips now pls Cheesy .

Now on a serious note. Mods dont get paid on any site, its volunteer job , we do it coz we love the community and being able to help.
And pd community is surely the best there is . Im sure i got probably like just under 10btc in tips in just over 1 year . So yeah its huge. And i probably sent like 1/3 or more off it back to the community.

Idk any other site with such a great and generous community. Maybe luckybit is close but they have chat loto and mods have 1 addy for them and they share what they get.

edit:

I even had a job as a mod on luckynumber . They offered me 1btc per month to be mod there and i accepted. And what was funny about it , i still spent much more time on primedice than on LN even thou i was getting paid from them to do the same thing i do on PD . So i quit after 1 month . Smiley
1415  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: April 26, 2015, 03:11:47 PM
Hui might have hit 9900x a couple of times but his luck seems to have run out. Last night he was at -18.5BTC profit and now according to http://pd3.co/u/hui at -20.34BTC. I'm guessing that this try to hit it isn't going so well.

yeah, he is at almost 95k lose streak now...

He should stop betting for now. I think the house still take over it. If he keep continue...he will go to depth.
Lossing about more BTC2 makes me no spirit to life anymore. How could he withstand  Sad

He knew the risks when he started betting, i guess tahts how he is dealing with it. Afaik, he stopped for good now, as he is busted all his btc.

I always told him to keep all his btc with me and when he ask for them i wouldn't give to him so there wouldn't be any risk of him losing it Smiley . But he didn't listen . Sad

No, from https://primedice.com/faq the maximum payout on any bet is 20BTC. That means that the maximum bet on 50% odds is 10BTC since that means a 20BTC payout. Micro has explained this a couple of times in this thread.

What will happen on the bet if it mistaken on calculation of payout amount more than 20btc?

I think they wont allow you to place bigger bet that may draw more payout.

hmm. I accidentally made a 0.01 bet on 9900x some time ago. Thats why i ask if wgat will happen xD

that's odd. The system normally tells you that the bet is over the limit and you can't place it.
just tried it a few times and i wasnt able to place the same bet that he did i dont know how he did that

That's impossible . U cant place 0.01 btc bet on 9900x .

If u done that some how u should post bet id. But im sure if we ask support to check it , they wont find any bet that was 0.01 on 9900x

A lot of people actually fall for that malware and i rly cant understand why.

I mean even if somebody did find a way to "hack" pd or any site THEY WOULD NEVER SHARE IT WITH ANYBODY let alone spam it everywhere Cheesy .

Don't fall for that shit , don't look at it , don't test it , that's the only way to be safe.

Btw , lots of people are complaining about begging and spaming on chat when mods are not around . I find it rly strange how its easier to complain about it than just be mod by yourself .

On primedice everybody can mod its own chat . Use that /ignore command to the maximum instead of just complaining .

1420  Economy / Economics / Re: New rebublic Liberland to accept BTC as currency on: April 20, 2015, 08:19:59 PM
Ahmm...why is the official language of this "country" Czech although it is located between Croatia and Serbia, hundreds of kilometers away from the Czech Republic?  Grin

Because the state's founder Vít Jedlička is from Czech Republic.

Nice experiment this Liberland thing. Even tho im afraid it's going to turn out as some sort of place where the rich store their assets to avoid any taxes, and not much else.

I think that so. I think they are trying to build an utopia. Who knows maybe it comes true. Smiley
It's going to become a resort for rich families to store their wealth with low taxes as some pointed, thats what I personally see this project turning into. The country is in between of pretty conflicting areas to both. I wouldn't feel safe there. It would have been cooler if they did it on some island.

Serbia and Croatia wont touch it without permission from European union and NATO .

And also its conflicted aria coz neither Serbia or Croatia wants that piece of land . Serbia says its Croatian and Croatia says its Serbian Cheesy
