1781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which old coin do you prefer? Litecoin or Dogecoin? on: October 21, 2023, 12:07:32 PM
I use both depending on circumstances, whichever coin has better rate on local exchange I trade on, I go with it.

Tron, just because I have had bad experience with Tron blockchain and I didn't forget the Justin Sun's hostile takeover of Steem [1]. Although, things eventually turned out fine as it gave birth to Hive.

1783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find new meme coins early? on: October 21, 2023, 11:45:34 AM
I only know from Twitter as well, although I didn't came across pepe, I did came across Shiba and several others which were not meme coins, was rewarded well too. However, if something becomes famous, Twitter scammers will create similar sounding trash and will try to lure you for it, better be careful, not all is gold out there, but for discriminative minds it's relatively easy to find gold in trash.

Netherlands managed to score 262,which is decent target to defend. I liked how they managed to keep score running with singles and doubles than relying on boundaries, they probably would not have made this target had they tried to hit hard and would have gotten all out much sooner.

Regarding SL, if there was ranking for worst fielding, the top contenders would be Pakistan and SL  Tongue

I like tasks where rewards are definitive and this is one of them. To get highest $2k USD reward, you have to make derivative trades with volume worth $10M.

Pakistan, Bangladesh users eligible too. Good luck!

Allows you to give network permission whenever you install an app. That means if an app is malicious and doesn't get network and storage permission, it can't harm you. Not sure if Lineage lacked that feature, but it definitely didn't prompt me for network permission during installation.

Those looking for similar functionality on non-graphene android can use Netguard [1], set default setting as block mobile/wi-fi and no installed or to be installed app will have Internet access by default, works on all system/user apps.

Regarding storage permission, all recent android versions are coded to ask for user permission before app can access storage, Lineage would have been no exception.

1788  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Smashy.gg - Decentralized Solana Casino on: October 21, 2023, 02:24:04 AM
Welcome to the forum, when I saw the title I thought: your casino only has a deposit option for Solana only. I hope I'm wrong, now if I'm right that your casino only has the option to deposit solana, I highly doubt that this will cause many people who have other cryptocurrencies to exchange for solana to go play at your casino when they can play at other casinos that have the option to deposit the cryptocurrencies they have in their wallet. Another point is what your casino has to offer that other casinos don't yet have and that is what would make you have many customers or no customers.

For some, being on-chain and open source is enough reason to use the casino. Using those centralized 'licensed' casinos where your can't withdraw your own funds before you wager your deposit 1x? no thanks.
1789  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is there any safe ways out there to get 10-15 % ANY return rate ? on: October 21, 2023, 02:11:42 AM
I know of two coins which are Atom and Dot. You can stake them to earn. The APY for atom is 18% while the APY for dot is 15%. For the dot, the minimum amount that you can stake is 270 DOT. You can stake this two coins on noncustodial wallet that support their staking. There are other coins but which I can not advise anyone to go for.

crypto exchanges upto 15 %   - but are they safe to put money there ? like nexo , kucoin ?
Not your key not your coin.

I understand op didn't specify if he wanted apy on usd or whatever but I wouldn't consider staking alts to be a safe investment. One of my friend invested in $DOT during last bull run and put into staking and now his staking amount although has increased but dollar value is marvelously lower from what he invested.

Okay, this is game over for Pakistan, The 8th wicket is down and the run rate is climbing up.

It was turning out to be a perfect chase, almost but Aussie kept chipping wickets in intervals. Now I can understand why Pakistani fans use the word "Zimbabar" every now n then.

Going forward Australia needs to work on their catching, they also dropped a few catches and gave good competition to Pakistan's fielders. Today they were saved but against top teams, it'll cost them a match.

Australia was saved today only with the excellent score they could muster up, all thanks to openers. They can't expect such inning each time. Aussies might make it to semis but not further. I feel we will see India vs NZ in finals, only these two appear worthy teams to me.

On a side note, neither Australia or Pakistan could capitalize on foundation openers had created.
1792  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much money can you make by investing in Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2023, 01:29:37 PM
Profit depends on how much and when you make your purchase, . Although, everyone expects Bitcoin to go up only (As in sooner or later), speculation remains speculation, do not invest what you can not afford to lose.

Regarding where to purchase, I'm sure every country has their own local crypto exchanges otherwise get to reputed exchange like Binance and make purchase.

1794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digital Real Estate: Is it worth it? on: October 20, 2023, 12:55:47 PM
I've seen digital property being sold for thousands of dollars (USD) in Decentraland. I'm yet to understand why digital real estate is appalling to mainstream investors. Owning a virtual property is not the same as owning a real one. It's just like NFTs (through the form of digital art, items, etc.). It may be all hype that will eventually fade away into oblivion. Or maybe I'm wrong?

Do you think digital real estate has a future? Is it worth it? If not, why? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley

I haven't used decentraland myself but have read about it and I am planning to dive in when I have got spare funds. It has value because it works pretty much like real one, and there is also aspect of profit that people speculate on. Being based on ethereum, it gives people sense of security on their assets.

I found this post information explaining decentraland informative, you might too:  https://influencermarketinghub.com/decentraland-real-estate/

I am sorry to say this that this Pakistani side has zero idea how to stop the Australian batters.

If you drop the catch, it's not the bowlers but the fielding is to be blamed. I'm sure bowlers lose their confidence when their mates can't catch. Taking catch of Warner at 10 would have completely changed the game.

Yeah after one drop catch the bowlers lost all thier confidence that Warner scored 163 runs. Blaming the fielding doesn't look good when Pakistan has some of best bowlers in thier side. Just look at the bowling figures of Rauf and Afridi, they were hammered by both Warner and Marsh all over the stadium. Things have gone from bad to worst for Pakistan and it will reflect when they come to bat.

Ah, Warner was dropped before making century as well. Rauf was smashed hard but not Afridi, his economy rate was under 5 before he closed his early overs quota and when he came back he took two important wickets (Marsh, Maxwell), he's the reason Aussies probably won't even cross 400 now.

I feel you don't realize how much difference wicket makes (in getting other wickets), 46 overs completed as of writing and openers are the only reason Aussie got the score they have.

i won't mind meme level fielding for some fun.

This I agree Tongue
1797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much do you Value your Privacy in Gambling? on: October 20, 2023, 11:26:43 AM
A lot. That's why I mostly gamble only at on-chain casinos, and crypto only. never ever have used fiat. Some require phone number as basic personal info, I find that excessive as well.

So, let's assume you luckily won anything as from $70,000 and above with a total bet below $100, and to withdraw this money, or even part of it, the casino requires you to pass all levels of verification in their system, which means that you will have to provide them all your personally information down to the most private of them all, and this casino is relatively new and you are not sure about their reputation.

Will you go ahead and provide them all they require from you for account verification, so they can process your withdrawal request, or will you willingly forfeit such amount of money back to the casino on the account that your private information is more expensive than that amount of money you have own from them?

I love to read your thoughts on this.

Will do some research about casino (in irl scenario, research would be prior to using casino itself), if reviews say fraudent there is no point in doing kyc, plus I wouldn't be surprised if your winning was due to casino's trick to make you give up personal info. If that's not the case, I'd wait until casino builds up some reputation and do kyc.

Since no one talked about security aspect, I'll plough my tent here. It's one thing to make investment and completely different one to secure that investment, here government won't take care of your fund's security, you are on your own. Teach him security lessons first, cryptocurrency space is plagued with scams/hacks, newbies are easy prey.

Using hardware wallet, keeping seed phrase offline, being wary of scams, staying anonymous — not blowing trumpet of your investment whether online or offline — are some security tips top of my head.

Not knowing the stuff and diving in is stupid and will likely make you lose your money.

1800  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaign Vs review campaign on: October 20, 2023, 06:15:02 AM
we can say that upto 5% of signature campaign participants doesn't use the project they promote.

It's not about signature participants using the product, it's more about bringing people through signature participants that may use your product. In advertising industry, we see popular people advertising the products, they don't use the products they promote but through them product gets known to the masses.
