I don't think so. Why ? I think it's not a big deal because Op mentioned that he was his old friend so there's no issue with the physical attacks as there some such cases already exist. You never really know, I'd prefer to not tell anything sensitive to anyone tbh. Also, I don't think there was real reason to show accumulated amounts to his friend, it could be avoided. He met his old friend after 10 years, people completely change in this much time. |

I've never won anything from an airdrop, I have no idea how to know which ones can give coins.
Can anyone give a tip on where to search? Is there any place that reports on this?
The golden years are over. A couple of years ago you had pretty huge airdrops that gave a lot of people a nice extra (i.e. bitcoincash) but nowadays it is hard to find real good ones. Don't get me wrong, if you google around, you will find hundreds of airdrops but none of them are really worth anything. The requirements to join one are real easy though. Ah c'mon, that's quite ignorant statement. Bitcoin cash was long ago, there have been plenty significant airdrops since then and you didn't require holding btc to earn them. The requirements to join one are real easy though. If there is already requirement published, that airdrop won't be worth good. You've been hunting for airdrops at wrong place. |

Even a newbie can survive and make decent profits in the bull run, the point is that survival should be analyzed by the performance of the trader in the bear market, and in the bull market we can differentiate between an expert and newbies with his existing plans. Becasue a good trader always stay conscious about the exit plan, to save profits.
Absolutely correct, it's easy to make money in bull market or in crypto, if I should say so myself. But, rare are the ones who manage to secure it. I was zero knowledge with crypto trading but Belive me my 90% trade was successfully profit gainer with just maintenance following technique.
Hitting winners 9 times out of 10? That kind of hot streak definitely can't last. At some point, your luck will run dry. Maybe it already has. That happens in bull market to many people, and this makes them consider themselves better than they are, and then bears strike and everything goes into the drain. Don't worry op, I'm not offending you, I have been there. You'll learn. |

You can use optimism/polygon/bsc/celo/base, significantly cheaper than ethereum and you will find most ethereum based dapps there but If you have token on ethereum, you can only swap it on ethereum.

Sometimes, social media can be very deceiving. Even if you know their intention is to create hype and FOMO, but still a lot of people still fall on their traps. And they will only come to realize that once they end up suffering from losses. I guess people will never stop committing mistakes, knowing a lot of beginner traders are also entering the market trying to ride with the hype every now and then. Yea, one learns influencers preying techniques and gets out of it, then new fishes come in the pond that these influencers can prey for. It's never ending cycle. However, if you see the market is really in bullish, then selling your coins could be the best option. But never sell all in, as there are still chances that the market will get even more bullish in the next days or months.
Yea, DCA in to purchase, and DCA out to sell is perfect strategy, since no one can perfectly time the market. |

It's always nice to get some free coins when you don't even expect them) This is exactly the case when it was not necessary to specifically demonstrate any activity on the network, in the hope of getting a retro airdrop. Something similar happened earlier with the Celestia project and there is hope that this airdrop will bring us a financial bonus. Yea, I like this kinda airdrop. If you farm projects and they don't give airdrop, you get disappointed. Here you don't care since you didn't make effort in first place. You wouldn't care even if token value turns out nothing. |

This is what it showed when I try to check it out. I think something is wrong with the link or something else   It's because Loyce forgot to put link in there. You can go manually as mentioned, it'll work. I have used both, whatever my mind felt inclined to that particular moment. However, I feel BTCT would be better, it somehow flows in tongue better (only me?), and makes sense:
BTC for BTC and T for Talk.
To be honest, it's hard for me to pronounce BTCT, I was referring to the flow of tongue thing you mentioned. It's the opposite for me. Even at the moment of the writing, I had to recheck the spelling. On the other hand BTT is just fine. Don't you think? Most of us are used to BTT not BTCT or BCT.  You will get used to pronunciation, it's that you are used to BTT right now, so it may take a while. Regarding spelling, BTC+T, dunno why would that be hard. |

I personally find BUSD unreliable, better stick with usdt/usdc, bsc/polygon/optimism have cheapest transfer fees. BTW, imagine if Bitcointalk went to use dogecoin for signature bounty payments, do you think it would make to the news headlines? "Bitcointalk starts using dogecoin for bounty payments, dogecoin surges". Lol. |

Staking atom, inj, tia, osmo (and also lp on osmosis in popular pool such as atom/osmo) — I'd say $100 in each minimum but more the better, should make you eligible for most cosmos ecosystem airdrops.
