1781  Other / Archival / Re: [POLL] What to expect from Bitcoin in 2022? on: October 10, 2021, 11:59:24 PM
In history, Bitcoin was immature as far as its retail community is considered to be those making markets and then crashing it, then whether we talk about 2013 or 2017, it's every 4 years btc shows some big moves. While it is 2021, btc has not yet started to show any big gains compared to the last 2 quad years in regards to percentage which opens more room for btc to move upwards. We are still waiting for an ETF to be approved by SEC and if it happens, we cannot imagine where will btc stop and I think history will not repeat itself through a market crash in the later period, but this run will continue to grow.
Do you believe that Bitcoin price will create a double ATH on this year if we remember the last ATH was in April this month and the price was in the $60k range and then suddenly dropped by mid of July?  I think it is, many speculations that there will be a new ATH this year before or after the Q4 will end.

Though the FUD of China continued spreading Bitcoin wasn't affected.  We still reached the $54k range yesterday and that was a good sign that right after correction it will pump again until it will break the previous and considering a new ATH will come.

Anyway, as a majority vote wins, there will be a new ATH.
1782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am new to Bitcoin and have been using Coinbase only. on: October 10, 2021, 11:54:51 PM

Everyone talks about keys, what exactly is a key. Where can I purchase one and how does it work.

My answer is that you don't need to buy a key, it's randomly generated when you create a wallet to use. I recommend you need to learn how to use the wallet as well as store the wallet code, the seed code. That's the key to help you get into the current wallet, I think you still don't know how to own it. If you don't know how to use it and don't have the keys, chances are your assets will be locked and you won't be able to use them, move them or sell them.
It's better to purchase a hardware wallet than using the free Bitcoin wallet if Op can afford it.  There's a feature that has an advantage upon using a hardware wallet because HW can protect itself against malware infection from the computer.  Here's a thread of a [BIG LIST] Hardware wallets (80+) and I highly recommend Trezor or either Ledger Nano wallet.

As suggested by most users above, Electrum is the best since it's free to use but there's a crucial thing that you must understand first.  Watching this Youtube video might help you in advance.
1783  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to spot an investment scam on: October 10, 2021, 11:24:30 PM
It seems good to be true.

It's quite not easy to spot this kind of scam investment because it's good to be true and there are too many of them was a victim of this.  They give sweet promises of a high return on your investment which is not good to put money if you will hear this kind of offer.  Actually, sometimes we are only after with the possible profit that we could take, we didn't have research how legit they are and that should be the first step we must do before diving in and put your money.  But yet, there's a lot of ways that you can sense it's a scam or not.

Always be vigilant on having investment DYOR first before anything else.
1784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can China Ban on Bitcoin have any negative effect on Bitcoin in future? on: October 10, 2021, 02:36:29 PM
Slightly have an effect IMO.

I have been witnessed different FUD from China and banning isn't new to me.  They always do this, banning and then lifted, banned again and later on it will be lifted again and the process will always repeat as long as they can.   I have read somewhere that I can't remember that in the statistic shows China was a country that has a huge amount of Bitcoin that been hold.  It seems the whales are in that country and if they want it to dump, they will spread FUD and it begins to the social media which is a FUD that can easily spread.

In fact, China was nothing to do and only a small percentage that might have an effect on the price and this was proven and tested.  Just ignore what China did.
1785  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: LONG TERM INVESTMENT REMAINS THE BEST on: October 10, 2021, 02:16:46 PM
As long the coin or token has strong fundamentals, great use cases and how it’s adopted massively, they are absolutely the best for long term investments. Either if you are an early adopter or have bought the dip and it grow that big, I would say that certain coin or token is really worth the investment.

Yeah, Most of the time fundamentals will govern on crypto project especially with those project backed by huge and famous VC like Bluezilla, Almeda Research, Binance and many more. Project backed by this strong VC will surely get successful in the long term ni matter what happened on crypto space.
I tend to agree, I believe the fundamental analysis was far better compared to technical which is very hard to execute.
Sometimes fundamental have a sign when there's a very trend in the news which have an effect to the project that gives a boost to the price.  It seems like the same on the play-to-earn games like Axie, last few months it was very trendy and until now there are people who still believe that it is a great investment.

The real use of the project will give an assurance that you will earn in the long run, if someone who holds a BNB token since it was launched from the start, it might that holder will gain too much as of now.  But it depends on the research, there are some exchange platform has been launched with their own token and operating their project but unfortunately, they never existed.

Long term or short term we should keep in mind having short research.
1786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Idea] Cryptocurrency that rewards users for transacting - thoughts? on: October 09, 2021, 11:59:33 PM
Sounds very technical discussion for me.

But this idea will kill the supply and demand but if your project isn't based on this then, there should be an unlimited supply.

- Would you consider using such crypto should it become available on exchanges?
If it incentivizes through transactions it could be abuse if this is on the exchange.

1787  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hallo Meta on: October 09, 2021, 11:48:10 PM
I like newcomers being silent on how to rank up and how to get merit in the forum but instead, silently contributing good deeds in the forum and actively sharing technical and fundamental discussions.  In that way, we know that they are working hard to rank up and be an established member soon.

Being a forum manager isn't quite easy, you need to gain trust first so that you will have the credibility to manage a project and also there's a company that will trust you on how to handle that task.  Or else hire an escrow if you don't have this and manage a campaign, sounds easy but it's hard to find a potential project to promote.

Follow of what was suggested above, they are all good and I tend to agree with them, spend time reading on the forum it brings good benefits to you.
1788  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's sideways adjustment, can you still chase up and buy more now? on: October 09, 2021, 11:31:47 PM
All in all I would say it is definitely something I would not be worried about at all, it looked quite entertaining and I would definitely be fine with it. What I believe happened right now would be breaking over that 60k and then go down and go above again and down few times before we go up and stay there.
We're almost there.  Wink
We have already experienced a massive correction this year and that was in the month of July when the price lowered to the $30k range, compared to the all-time high that range above $60k in April, and now I think it's easy to break the previous ATH and create a new one.

We know the price of Bitcoin is very volatility so it doesn't mean if there's an infinite growth per month, there should be a corresponding correction right after a massive pump.  I think let's prepare for that now, I heard many experts says after this range of $50k will have again another correction.  But for me, I look after the price of Bitcoin in the long term.
1789  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Bitcoin stolen on: October 09, 2021, 11:16:35 PM
It's back up by the private key and seed phrase there's no email associated or phone numbers on Electrum because they aren't centralized wallet so, therefore, sorry for your loss, and since Bitcoin transfer into another wallet which is you didn't have a control to it are totally lost.

How should i proceed?
Is there a chance to retreive the money?
Contact Chainalysis service that has offered tracking the lost Bitcoin or hacked Bitcoin so that you can trace where your Bitcoin landed and possibly reveal the real hackers, but I think they had a huge service fee for this.  Unfortunately, it's an irreversible transaction which means a small percentage being recover.

Looks like my phone was hacked.
The phone is prone to hack you should aware of this from start.  It isn't a good idea to store Bitcoin on phone, we have a hardware wallet for you to store your large amount of Bitcoin hold.
1790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: satoshi symbol on: October 08, 2021, 03:50:50 PM
Satoshi still dont have yet an official symbol as a community or crypto enthusiast agreement and I like the concept that is being shown by the OP.
Most commonly I saw this sign on Twitter, " 丰 " and it's very close to the OP's idea.  I think that doesn't have relevant insight on the Satoshi, there should be a letter S in the symbol, or the $ sign is much better.

However, there are widely adopted symbols and it looks like the OP symbol is relatively the same as the number one on the list.

By the way, thank you for sharing this.
1791  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is "No one knows anything" a paradox in investing? on: October 08, 2021, 02:17:59 PM
I'm wondering how can somebody learn more ("do your own research") and invest better while also keeping in mind that no one actually knows anything.
Just basic information on how Bitcoin will work and its function as a cryptocurrency, how useful it is, and how your country threatens Bitcoin is.  If this is against your government's jurisdiction well maybe you can find another way to have it and use it but if you abide by the law in your country much better.  It could be better if you also understand the risk and the word "volatility" in crypto market price which gives the price fluctuate every now and then.

Regarding the price predictions, there's no one actually knows, and maybe this is what you mean I think.  Just invest and wait for the profit were there or set a target of profit before cutting it.  Because AFAIK, the longer you will hold, the more profit that you will gain.  Just "understand" it and you will be fine.
1792  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin / ETH / USDT Mixer on: October 08, 2021, 01:38:33 PM
Are there any mixers for usdt trc20 also ? I haven't heard any. It will be useful if anyone know about it.
I'm trying to have a legit source but I didn't find out, because I have doubted before that there are no legitimate USDT mixers around, they're all scams and most likely didn't exist.  Just use DEXs exchange for your USDT to cover or mask your identity if this is really what you want.

Be careful of USDT mixers and here are the threads that might help you to find scam websites and not fall as a victim.

Anyway, you can move this thread to altcoin service discussion or inn service discussion board.
1793  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.com - options not available on: October 05, 2021, 11:57:13 PM
Hi,

That's exactly what I did, after downloading the app, all problems disappeared. Virtual money appeared again on the account when using both: mobile application and desktop webpage. All the frozen buttons became functional again... strange but most important that all works correctly now.

Thanks
By any chance, I must suggest transferring your crypto asset to other wallets, not on the web wallet.  For free, open-source wallets are far better than you currently use.  Electrum (https://electrum.org/#download) wallet is the most suggested wallet for free, save and store private key separately on the computer or write it down on a sheet of paper and make some copies so that you won't forget.  The best of all the best wallet is a hardware wallet,m if you can afford to purchase it I must say, please get one for you.  Here is the [BIG LIST] Hardware wallets (80+).

You have been given a chance and you're still lucky enough you get your Bitcoin back and access your wallet.
1794  Other / Archival / Re: [POLL] What to expect from Bitcoin in 2022? on: October 05, 2021, 11:37:31 PM
I'm tired of technically guessing the market price in the future and instead of doing that, sometimes I think it's better to let the price where it goes.
And now, I'm following on this, Bitcoin Price Prediction For 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 And 2025, I've been following them for years and it seems they had an accurate result.

According to them, if Bitcoin price will break the new ATH this year until Q4.  That is the start that they will resist until the Q4 of the next year 2022 and it could be at that time, the anticipated price that anyone predicted the $100k of Bitcoin price will potentially be the next target.

IMO, it's possible that it will reach that price since there are too many factors and a lot that has happened now.  Country's legalization and big company's adoption will most likely be the main reason we will reach even $100k by the next year 2022.
1795  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Benefits Of Using Trading Signal Services And Tools on: October 05, 2021, 11:19:07 PM
Therefore, it's probably only worth considering trade signals with a regulated provider.
Who are they?  Are they able to predict the crypto market and why they called you a regulated provider?
AFAIK, crypto price is unpredictable so no one knows exactly the direction of the coins, not unless if they do have a pump and dump so that the coin will move independently towards Bitcoin price movement.  I think there's no such kind of group that gives an accurate result, they might pump and dump group that you should stay away while they didn't have milking you yet.

..that's how they'll milk with the users and not with trading.
That is how I exactly thinking, they are just fooling people by giving inaccurate results.
1796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla and Dogecoin on: October 05, 2021, 10:59:46 PM
So, without Elon, Doge and other related meme coins don't make a single move, and the recent pump caused by another tweet of Elon is the proof, but there's something that is blowing my mind: the remote possibility that Tesla could accept Doge as a payment method, and that could cause a massive rise.
I doubt it when there's no one listen to him on shilling this meme coin on Twitter, the last option to him so that makes his Dogecoin pump and make hype will possible announcing it publicly that his Tesla company accept Dogecoin.  Like Bitcoin when he announced that his company accepted Bitcoin and Bitcoin price begun to raise up.

IMO, I don't care.
I know Dogecoin will not make any move without him, and the time comes people will learn his trick, and nobody listens to him anymore.
Let him be, until such time people will realize that they are under influenced by him and start ignoring all of what he said.
1797  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Basic Types of Trading on: October 05, 2021, 02:34:10 PM
i have never tried futures trading, i just found out now. so future trading is very risk to trade if we are not experts in that field. but i see on binance there is p2p, what is p2p? i have never tried trading on the biggest market (binance).  Grin
I rather say, margin trading is quite risky than the future trading in Binance, it seems like they have been the same faces that are profitable but they had different types of the risk level.  Trading isn't an easy job and might newbies here will mislead that it's easy to gain profit in trading, I never spot trading but margin and future are quite opposite to me.

However, I'm didn't have much technical idea about this.  In Binance FAQ there's a video that explains you much better than me.
What Are the Differences between Margin and Futures Trading
1798  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Basics things to note before venturing into crypto on: October 05, 2021, 02:07:20 PM
First, welcome to the forum, and sorry to hear your losses, it might you didn't understand yet how crypto works.
I won't answer the first one because it's unclear and I don't understand what you meant.  It's about the dollar or your local currency.

2) Trading Cryptos need PATIENCE, I once lost over $10000 just because of lack of patience, the coin wasn't moving well so I sold it, 5days later, the coin did exceptionally well that I would have made 5Million if I had left it for a bit longer, so Patience is very necessary.
It's unclear again, but I assumed that you're holding altcoins, not Bitcoin.  IMO, it depends on the coin if that is worth it to hold and have patience on it.  Not all coins deserve to have patience and wait, I rather invest in Bitcoin and hold until my profit were there because I know I have an assurance that I will be able to gain profit when the bull trend comes.  Otherwise, have good research of what coin that you hold will probably reduce risk on your side.

Quote
3) You need a mentor, mentors helps to analyze the market and tell you what coin to buy, when to buy it, what coin would pump in the nearest future and the coin that'll delay in pumping.....
As a newbie, if you decide to do all this on your own, you may be running at a lose.
No, I doubt that possible this you called mentor might belong to the pump and dump group which leads you to a massive loss if you missed them.  It's your money to risk, don't ask other people regarding your financial investment.  Do your own research instead and might help you to boost your knowledge in the future.

Quote
4) You need to be obedient and humble, it's one thing to have a mentor and another thing to give here to their Instructions and advice.
Most times we just want to act differently from what the ask you to do thereby running into unnecessary loses.
It's not necessary when you yourself have been already oriented, because I'm worried that someday the one who called you a mentor will abuse your kindness.  We shouldn't trust anyone when it comes to financial status.

Basic knowledge is very important in crypto and it's better not to rely upon others' opinions nor having them on your own.
1799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your experience on fork coins this year on: October 04, 2021, 11:59:13 PM
Forked coins are trying to have a separate code just to improve the existent one but the fact no one has been proved.  From Bitcoin down to the Ethereum and other different blockchain networks that have forked.  All of them are nonsense and others become shitcoins.

Though not all of them become successful at least there are some who had able to get profit during the project's run.  And others were pumped just because of the mass hype that becomes investors profitable but in fact, there's no real use as a forked one.
1800  Economy / Economics / Re: Will we see new ATH this year? on: October 04, 2021, 11:53:01 PM
There's a possible big impact when ETFs have been approving by the U.S. SEC and possible someone says we are on the road to a $100k Bitcoin price.  So it means there's another possible ATH will come.  As I heard, there are over 30 applications of base Bitcoin ETF waiting to be approved and for sure that will make Bitcoin skyrocketing the price.

Maybe the market now was struggled with the China FUD when it will recover and ETFs approval will come, the FUD will completely forget IMO.

For now, let's just wait for what will happen next and hoping that there is good news in Bitcoin, not all FUDs.
