This explains some of the hate towards eth and the love of etc trying to destroy eth credibility.
ETHF destroys ETHC credibility.

Crickets.....may as well get used to it, these geniuses have bigger problems now than rolling back bail outs lol!

What problems:

The next 2 Forks are on the schedule for the Ethereum Foundation:

1) Metropolis

and

2) Serenity

Therefore, whilst you lot moan and groan on this ANN about history, everyone else is continuing with Network development.

That is planned fork and is essential for the development of the Ethereum. I have no problem with that. Maybe the ETC will not fork.

Ethereum Foundation should make those Scheduled Forks difficult for Clone-Crap-Coins to implement Grin

The ETC is independent now. So it shall not copy and past the codes from Ethereum. It might employ its own developers.

ETHC has always been independent and can do whatever is reasonable including copy and paste code from the cloned ETHF. The only thing ETHC will never do is bail out forks.

As already said now the bail out ETHF is a test net for ETHC.

That means there is no need for the active developer/development for just the ETC. It can do copy and past.

How many times shall I explain what does it mean for users and developers?

The essential problem is that unless you own DAO tokens, you have no reason to choose Ethereum over Ethereum Classic. They are basically the same thing with different recorded versions of history. The entire thing is open source, so if the Ethereum developers come out with new features, Ethereum classic will adopt them almost immediately (unless they’re similarly controversial). Any Ethereum developer with DAO tokens now works against himself.

Also, as update on the "White Hats" trying to stop SUPER-HACK on the pre-fork blockchain.

They've pretty much failed: there Counter-Hack initially saved 7 million ETC, but the SUPER-HACKER responded and re-hacked there Counter-Hack.

Consequently, on August 31 2016, 6-7 million ETC will become available to the SUPER-HACKER.

Isn't everyone glad: the Ethereum Foundation did the Hard Fork now!

what a bunch of nonsense you're spouting.

It is very obvious there are posters on this forum that are hell bent on continuing to put Ethereum down anyway possible. They are not here to simple discuss things related to Ethereum. They can easily go to or create their own thread. These posters are going out of their way on purpose. This shows their malice. The arguments they bring up are so ridiculous, implausible, historical contradictory, and without any kind of credibility that they are not worth the time to bother about replying to. This may very well be the continuous co-ordinated effort by very few to try to keep etc alive in all ways possible. They are trying anything and everything.

The simple consideration that they could be trying to build there own community in there own space getting on with their own thing instead of doing this shows the psychology intent behind them and what they are all about.

The way things have and are historically playing out, continually enforces that the hackers and now any affiliates have alot to lose in this, and their whole world will be to extract as much out of this as possible. They are dealing with life changing amounts of money for themselves. Coupled to some peoples want to destroy Ethereum that will only be allayed by them trying to take control of it.

Amen.

Forkers tried very hard to destroy Ethereum but they couldn't.  They should move on to some other space to whine. This thread is for Ethereum.

The Ethereum Classic has already declared its independence, so it should create a thread for its own.

Ethereum Classic has never been dependent in the first place. This is why there is no point to declare its independence.

The Ethereum Forked has already declared its dependence, so it should create a thread for its own.

Which fork now, has the same principals as when Ethereum was created? ETH or ETC?
Isn't it obvious?
ETHC changed nothing and has same principals as when Ethereum was created. ETHF mutated to bail out greedy DAO speculators.

The Theft of a $1 Billion Dollar Blockchain -Ethereum/Slock.it Facing Legal Action

We have decided to launch legal action against the Ethereum foundation and the Slock.it development team. Please join us if you feel you have been effected in any way through the actions of the Ethereum foundation or Slock.it.

We are motivated by our crypto morals, ethics and the unspoken law within our culture. We are backed by the real word legal system and the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Not only do we challenge the foundation but we demand a full public Audit of the funds and transactions related to the Ethereum Foundation and developers.

Has there been a crime here?

Most certainly.
"We are backed by the real word legal system and the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Not only do we challenge the foundation but we demand a full public Audit of the funds and transactions related to the Ethereum Foundation and developers."

Oh now you are backed by the very institutions that you despised. The problem with these people is that they have double standards. They themselves do not have solid base principles and just sway wherever it is advantageous for them. What is the matter with people today?

THANK YOU!  Hit the nail on the head with this post.. There is a lack of morals when it comes to money .. EtC sure takes the cake on this one.!

etc wouldn't have survived if they wouldn't have paid hundreds of coins for its support, at least not this far and not this way.
You just forget how many coins have been paid from the beggining for the Ethereum bubble to survive this far! ETHC price is just a fair assessment of the potential. ETHF price is a bubble that is going to burst.
1790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 11, 2016, 02:46:28 PM

Obviously, a crime prevention implementation for a new businesses built on a New Crypto Network is a Noteworthy Deed
Obviously, what is crime and what isn't must be decided by court of law and not by Ethereum central bankers.

Solo mining ETH....

What would be a good hashrate to have to see at least 1 block found daily?

I'm just curious...

Short answer:
If you mine ETHC you have x7 better chance of finding a block than mining ETHF.

The problem of mining ETC is that the ETC price is dropping fast. It is better to mine ETH and sell ETH for ETC, you will get more ETC.
Actually ETHC price is pretty stable.

The future of Ethereum mining pools is to automatically switch mining between ETHC and ETHF depending on price and difficulty. I'll personally invest in such a mining pool.

Coinotron.com already has this man, although etc has been most profitable over the last 2 days
They have added ETHC/ETHF 'profit switch' just 2 days ago. Thanks for letting me know about that pool.
Do they automatically switch or miner has to manually do it?

ETHF trolls gone hysteric = ETHF dump time comes again
lol dude ETH is going to the moon, theres no reason to dump...
we got...Raiden 100k txps test in 3weeks
we got Augur very soon
we got Devcon2
ALL of the above will happpen within 4-5weeks
+ we got Metropolis   Wink

 Smiley

lol, pumpy.
We got all this x7 cheaper.

Yes.. the best selling point for ETC is sadly exactly that.

ETHC has all best selling points ETHF has PLUS it sells all this x7 cheaper.
Still have questions?

What if the new functions require the hf signature from the fork block?  OPPS....
I don't see any problem.
The new functions will require the classic signature from the classic block?  OPPS....

pumpy and frosty... I'm sorry for you guys. You still don't get it!
Everything developed for ETHF can be copied by whoever wants to copy it and deployed on ETHC chain and offered to their customers at a price x7 less than will be offered on ETHF chain. It is obvious which chain will win at the end. That's it. Simple. Moreover, original devs will prefer to use ETHC chain because offering same thing x7 cheaper has better chances of being sold.

I told you, guys. ETHF will be the test net for ETHC.

Please, convey my gratitude to all ETHF devs for making me rich.
