I'll see what we can do.
I do have to say the Firstlady0542 has been communicating through out.
We'll see if I receive additional payments this week before we take action on Monday.

hmmm gmail DOES NOT report local ip.
|
|
|
if you are sending from you isp's email then yes your ip would be reported but if you are using webmail the webmail server would be the originating ip.

how did he contact you and how did you know it was coming from North Carolina?
he replied to an email that i sent to his PayPal-listed email address -- from the PayPal account he used to scam me. i knew it came from NC because i looked up the IP from his email: 68.119.34.71 ... which is Boone, NC. what email address? Wouldn't the IP be from the location of the mail server and not necessarily his physical location?? Most mail servers send the real IP along side the server IP. Sometimes it will show a LAN IP instead of the WAN IP, depending on how the router is setup ahhh Google does not.

|
|
It would be his actual IP address that would be attached to the email C0dex received.
ahhh negative ghost rider

can you post the raw email with header info.
thx.

I'd like to know what was the evidence or the specific issue that resulted in the SCAMMER tag. There was way too much debating and defining terms and splitting hairs for me to keep track.
Hopefully this could be applied in other lending/investment cases (ie Usnagi) - if there are any similarities - that will certainly keep popping up.
Thanks.

well something is not right here.
Either give Usagi the scammer tag or lock the thread.
The relentless MOE-PR/JoelKatz debate paid off in getting PH a scammer tag. Maybe there is relevance here??
But unless theymos is closely monitoring this, I have no idea what third parties could be keeping up with the quote upon quote of the he said/she said.
If he's scammed please tag him.
I don't think investors should be able to request a scammer tag for making the mistake of investing with a bad business/business man.

and what was his response? (sorry I need a better scammer tracker! too f***ing many of them)

Hey, did you ever get any money back from this guy?
Nope. Not a cent. :\ did you ever confirm you were talking to the right guy.
