why you dont like the MSI Z270-A Pro? i have this and is perfect
6 gpu is working with no problems?

Z97 anniversary is not good for 6 GPU, I heart that 4 or 5 are fine. That Asus H81 propably won't run 4 GPU without bios edit or hardly. The Asus Prime K is good it can run 9 gpu I think if it's that version or at least 8 gpu. I've bought Prime P version didn't tested yet, but it can run up to 8 gpus.

I don't think so. But you can try. Better search some info.

i find ASUS P8P67 EVO, Gigabyte GA-B150-HD3 they are really cheap and cpu for them is cheap and i have ram for them so is super, but they are good ? someone can tell me ?? i think also about MSI Z270-A PRO, ASRock B250 Pro4 but if i buy it I can not afford for next GPU so it little lame
Well maybe, try to find if it has bios settings for TOLUD set it to lower than 4G or above 4G. B150 chipset will not run more than 4 max out is 5 and it will run only on Biostar TB150 I think. Maybe try one of these it's all Asrock. I think the used Z170 (MSI, ASUS) would be best low budget mobo if you can't get BTC ones, Z170 can run 6 gpu with some troubles. http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/motherboard-for-ethereum-mining/

So maybe someone of you guys have or see somewhere mobo for 1150, 1155 with ddr3 to sell minimum 4 cards very nice will be for 6 because this is my goal 6 gpu mobo aren't cheap, oh well they are but only in US or CN. The Biostar TB250 is pretty cheap but it's out of stock everywhere, you can get one on Ebay or Aliexpress but it cost like 200 USD + shipping. I've just bought the Asus Z270 Prime P Guys here testing the A version, but it's little bit more expensive and you can run same ammount of cards. https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=news&id=155Only cheap mobo for 4+ gpus are the Asrock H81 Pro or H97 you can get them on Amazon but prices are different on different Amazon stock locations. Also Z170 chipset should go with 4 gpu with bios changes.

For me mobo with ddr3 will be better because i have in my house 8gb free of ddr3 so i will save 50euro for next card
Yeah that's right then. i can buy ddr3 for 40-60 euro 8gb, i can't find for the same price ddr4
I can buy in Czech republic Crucial DDR4 2133MHz 1x 8GB for 56 EUR and 2400MHz for 59 EUR. I've just bought 4GB 2400MHz Crucial Ballistix with heatsink for 35 EUR. I think for Win 10 is pretty enough 4GB I had some problems with Win 7 but 10 use only about 1.5-3 GB in normal usage.

Thx, yeah, I didn't know it's working with PCIe 3.0 in videos they use 2.0.

|
|
So I've bought Asus Z270 Prime P together with G3930 and Corsair HX1200. Will post how this mobo is working. I have got just 3 GPU right now so it will took some time than I got more of them.

would be good to have something with m2 so i cna get rid of some cables
...oh just noticed that the biostar have an m2 that's great better than the asrock
the problem with this MB versus the h81 pro btc, is the cost of the memory, it cost much more than the old ddr3 8gb...
You mean DDR4? In EU you could buy DDR4 with better price than DDR3 i mean new one not used.

asrock h81 pro btc seems good but i cant get in my country. maybe something on 1151 ?
As I wrote Asus Z270 Prime and Biostar TB250 are both LGA1151.

Yeah those BTC are best, but they are expensive. I didn't find Biostar TB250-BTC selling in EU. Asrock H1 is on Amazon but pretty bad priced and not selling by Asrock... I've found Asus Z270 Prime P could run up to 9 GPUs. I wrote about it here. There is also video how to do that. Right now this is probably the best mobo for this price. I will buy it soon. You need to use powered riser.

|
could be a possibility if one can't find the h81 pro btc or the tb250, but be aware because that motherboard is not designed for six card and if you put 6 card with high wattage without the double molex you might screw something, fot this reason i only trust asrock or biostar If you use powered riser, it should be fine. I think I will use 1x PCIE x16 and up to 5x powered riser. I will buy 1000W Gold PSU so more than 5-6 gpu will not run anyway. Those BTC are hard to find for good prices on ebay... and TB250 is not selling at all in CZ sadly Only some low cost Biostar are here. AsRock is popular here but not the BTC versions... I found lot of videos from russians on youtube they all use Asus Z270 mobo some even used H270. They even set up 9 GPUs on Z270.

And here I am sitting on three boards that wont fire up due to bent pins. GRRRR
You mean PCI pins? Or CPU? I'm not sure if this still work but on old PCI you could just hang the card without screwing it that put some pressure and boom card was working CPU pin just gently bend back

I figure it out it's FBS problem! After crash from OC or whatever OC setting is gone. FSB is 266MHz. Max supported is 333MHz. If I overclock to 320MHz (If I could lower RAM clocks it could goes at least to 333MHz) and reboot PC, CPU-Z detect changed FSB but other utilities didn't without reboot... I run XMR STAK with OC and gets 700h/s. On my primary PC I can get better OC (Memory goes to 2039MHz, on the lower only 2009MHz) and I have 730h/s it's about 4% difference and same for the FSB! 320MHz is 4% lower than 333MHz. So I could upgrade CPU tu 333Mhz and even overclock that and maybe get better results, but I think I will buy new mobo. 6+ gpus is supported on Asus Z270 Prime it seems pretty good for the price for me.
Again thx guys for help. I didn't expect it would be FSB issue.

I found this topicIt looks like Z270 should support 6 gpus or at least 5. But H270 also? I found some youtube videos with russians mining with 8 gpus with Asus Z270 PrimeSo I think I will go for this mobo.

Since my old HP is acting weird and hashes low -> this topic I need new HW. So the new LGA 1151 are cheap with DDR4. I was looking on this Gigabyte H2701x PCIE 16x, 2x PCIE 4x, 2x PCIE and 1x PCI all 3.0 I've read that MSI B250 only support 4 gpu. Does H270 support 6 PCIE devices? I can't figure it out. Gigabytes B250 uses pcie lines with m.2 so I guess it won't run 6 gpus. CPU Celeron G3930 and 4GB 2400MHz DDR4. Or any tips for good mobo for reasonable price? DDR4 and LGA 1151 would be nice. Thanks guys for tips and advices.

Solved! I've update drivers to 17.5.1 and now it's mining almost same only about 30h/s lower, so I guess there is some HW problem still, but it was main SW problem... bad drivers install maybe? It seems like power problem of the PCIE... MSI Afterburner showing few watts lower power. I think I will still buy new HW. Any suggestions? I was looking on this Gigabyte H270I've read that MSI B250 only support 4 gpu. Is H270 support 6 PCIE devices? Thank you guys for support. I really appreciate it. Edit: 1 restart and I'm back in low hasrates... it makes no sense! Edit2: another restart and mining fast again, it's like lottery!
