From others I know you can only put timings to 1500MHz and it will work even above 2000MHz. But timing for these type of Hynix are pretty bad... max what they could have with my timings is around 30MH/s, but I have much better results with strap for Monero it gets even above 900H/s with really great power consumption.

Looking to try any new straps for Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580 (11265-01-20G) with HYNIX memory.
Using PE 1.6.1 Good Hynix Mining strap at 2000 and 2250 only gets 765 (stable, no mem errors ever) at 1250/2250 for XMR.
What Hynix type do you have?... H5GQ8H24MJ Ok, that's not the one I need. Have you used the timing strap from PBE 1.6? Send me PM I will give you improved version.

In about ten days the Byzantium Hard Fork will take place, let's hope that it will have a positive effect on the difficulty
Why do you say it would have positive effect on difficulty? You should read this thread or Google it. I've already posted it here.

I changed BIOS with new memory settings, and OC memory to 1550MHz
I call fake news. Just modded my 380's and no where near close to 600 H/s. Pics? I had 650H/s with Nitro R9 380. I've used NerdRalph bios for that. My result is also on Monerobenchmarks.

Sure it's not STOCK. This card default run at ~23.x Mh/s. For 28.x Mh/s you have to modify the BIOS as I mentioned above.
For your concern about part/build quality I have to say : Slightly yes.
I got my hand on 2 mining cards : ASUS MINING-RX470-4GB (Hynix) and ZOTAC P106-100-6GB (Samsung) and they both "look cheaper" than normal gaming card.
BUT they ran flawlessly for over past 3 months like my other rigs ( gaming card ) so ...maybe just "look cheaper"
PWC is a good choice, many of my friends choose PWC and run at 30 Mh/s (Samsung)
The mining cards can do 28-29MH/s mostly, only Samsung can have more. They are still pretty overpriced, most gaming cards can have same or even better results for lower price.

as for 470 570 and 580
470 and 480 produce better hashrate than 570 but it will all rely much on the memory and manufacturer if its sapphire 470 it will take u to 28-29 respectively 570 sapphire not that much as for my own experience 580 will rely much on memory but hynix can be push to 29mhz without shutting down and stable\ for modding you can email me or contact me i can help you,
What? RX 580 Hynix can do 32MH/s, well not every card, but 30MH/s with almost all of them, I would say Wolf0 can push it even more. RX 470/570 29-30MH/s is almost no problem. Depends on exact Hynix memory type and quality.

What Hynix type do you have? dear all, i have power color 470 4gb mining edition with elpida memory, i mod bios same like what i did to my 470 4gb gaming edition. but why this mining edition draw more watt when i check in GPUZ? mining edition brown box draw 85watt, and gaming only 65 watt. is there any how i can mod my mining edition so at least 65 watt in gpuz? i mod only strap 1500 up. that is.
thanks, hope somebody might help my. regards
If you only want lower power consumption you can just undervolt the core.

I would love to know what the hash rate is of this card against epoch 144 for example. I just get 23 mh/s on my powercolor RX 470 with 4gb of ram using a mem speed of 2100 and core clock of 1126.
I expect this card mines the same? I want to make sure i dont buy something and i am not happy with it because it mines much slower.
Almost all the mining cards are bad. They don't use top quality chips.

I have two identical cards, Asus Strix rx580 oc 8gb Samsung memory modded bios with Ubermix 3.1 straps on 2000 and 1750. One is working perfectly fine on stock speeds. Other one getting some memory errors, and after about 1h, hashrate on it slowly begins to drop. When i downclock memory from 2000 to 1950, it works fine, without memory errors, but hashrate is 1 mhs lower compared to the other one without problems. I did try to copy 1750 to 2000 strap, Ubermix less extreme 2.3, same thing happens.
Is there any other way to do something about it? Their memory quality is just different or i'm missing something?
Didn't touched anything about power and voltage so far.
Yep, silicon lottery, you might try Uber-mix 3.2. Updated: Tools and drivers version
your Polaris Bios Editor 1.6.2 link, stinks. I know that You can always google it.

hi guys i am totally newbie i have 11256-35-10G card. sapphire 4gb elpida mining edition this is my gpu-z screen and i also attach the original bios rom it is completely diffrent in timing section my current hash with blockchain driver is 22Mh/s can anybody edit the rom? and expain why timing is not similar to usual thank you all ps. why i can not attach my rom to the forum link to download my original rom: https://uploadfiles.io/4spcnYou need to use other version of PBE, try PBE 1.6 or SRB Polaris. Links are in the first post.

Dont buy x10. Because delivery time is too late and until this time so many d3 and other strong asic x11 machine will add the system and diff will be very very high and your x10 will be bad for mine any coin.
I think none of us want this for Dash. I am waiting 2 unit, how do you think which currency do you used for this miner? thanks It support 2 or 3 other algos now and there will be total of 7.

Hey Matthev,
Good guide and I've been scrambling around trying to get my speeds over 25MH ETH + 730MH sia per card(dual mining with Claymore V10) but have struggled.
Currently running rig of 6X RX480 Sapphire Nitro+ Elpida. New blockchain driver and and using Anoraks Memshift Bios. When I tried using the Overclock Bios it would trip out my 1200w rig after it started dual mining but it achieved around 27MH.
Also is it important to DDU and reinstall blockchain driver every time? Can't I just run Pixel patcher?
Anorak's bios won't perform very well. You need better timings, you may try those here or I have better one. For Elpida Eliovp should have best timing from what guys telling here. It's better to use DDU, but if you don't change voltages it should be fine not to do that.

Have you tested an 8-GPU rig?
If so, is the hash rate per card (say 30.1) the same when all 8 GPUs are plugged in?
I've only saw problem with different hashrate on old Intel 900 series mobo. Or you mean like the difference between cards? It's pretty normal, every card is unique and for Hynix it applies two times. I have eight Gaming X 580 elpidas (4gb). Initially setting the cards up, I put them in pairs then tried the highest hash rate they could get. They easily give 30.1 up to 30.4 with <30 mem errors running +12 hrs. I did these 4 times and out of 8 cards, only one cannot do >30Mh. But when I put all 8 cards they only manage 29.5 up 29.9 with a total hash around 234ish. Mobo and CPU? CPU utilization?
