Thank you for your reply.
I want to stay on vega i think there is more space on hashrate for vega 64 in the future. Could you tell me which Pentium CPU would be enaugh? Maybe this one? Intel Pentium G4560, 2x 3.50GHz, boxed And could you tell me which Server PSU would you recommend?
Yeah it should be good, but I haven't seen Vega in action, so I can't really tell. I would say every Kaby Lake Pentium should be good enough. I don't use server PSU, all my rigs running with Corsair HX series. It has 10 years warranty. But EVGA is good too. Well probably with tuned miners yes, but it uses HBM2, I don't know changes from HBM, but that was pretty slow memory and for memory algos like ETH or XMR it's pretty bad. For core intensive algos there are NVIDIA much better.

What is your opinion, what is the maximum ETH hashrate with solid power consumption/solid temperature for a Sapphire RX470 4GB Hynix?
I can do max around 30MH/s, but Wolf0 might do it a lot better like 31-32MH/s maybe... or Eliovp.

Thanks for guide! I got this xmr stak running too, I just need to figure out why my computer randomly reboots and if i can improve on hashrate. Currently running (2) MSI 470 (1) ASUS 480 (1) XPX 480 and (2) XPX 580.
Too low voltages or you got memory errors. You can mod the bios: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1954245.0According to your latest message, I switched to 17.6.2 and changed the clock to 2050. Now, I get around 715.
I adjust power limit just not to throttle GPU.
Anyway, thanks for the help.
If you don't have any HW errors you can OC more.

Download different Polaris Bios Editor. I think you need version 1.5. search for it, you will find on github.
OMG! :-) Thank you! So simple. The easiest way is to use SRB Polaris. I've recently updated my guide with this editor. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1954245.0BTW that timing strap from Eliovp is for Elpida... it might work with Hynix, but I'm pretty sure he made it from Elpida strap.

Even if 13 gpus works on windows 10 you will have to have both AMD and Nvidia cards as i understand it meanwhile in SMOS, Ethos, Pimp you can run 12-13? of AMD cards. And for psus well, 13x2=26 8 pin pcie cables, so hmm you could buy 2x delta 2400 watt psus but if server psus not an option maybe 2x evga 1600 g2 + 1 coolermaster v1200 platinum but it will cost ya cpu wise i would think a cheap celeron g3900 would be ok. 8 gb of ram should also be enough For this many GPU I would say he will need at least Pentium, if Celeron so G3930 would be minimum. Still I don't get why buy Vega for mining... if you want mine ETH like I think you want... For the price of Vega you can have 2x R570 even if they are overpriced like they are now (normal price RX 580) even if you had bad luck in silicon lottery and use stock bios you would have higher hashrate than on Vega... Server PSU is for server obviously and PC PSU is for PC. Server PSU are meant to be run 24/7.

I don't have AMD mining cards, but I've mod bios for a lot of them and they are bad. They not using good chips even memory are not that good as on gaming GPUs. What I saw NVIDIA mining cards are pretty good.

lbry is too hard for solo mining i think. With 2 1080ti's it will take 15 days to find a block.
You don't need to find block.

Antminer L3 + will not be able to mine Monero. It is designed to extract coins on the script algorithm To mine Monero, I advise you to use a video card! I hope soon will create Asic specifically for Monero)
Well that explains why I couldn't find any mine to Asic in google I might try to mine minero with a RX 480 but I will first keep looking for more profitable alternatives More proftable is RX 470/570 it has almost same hashrate but cost a lot less. I've post my results here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2126975.0

Why VEGA 64? What you want to mine with that? Poor hashrate for every coin I know for that price.

LBRY (LBC) or ZEC would be great for this GPU.

If you are using ANTMINER you don't need to use MOBO and ANTMINER has faster ROI than 1 RIG or 7 GPU which you won't believe because they have the same price but the ROI is faster for ANTMINER in just 1 month your ROI is back.
If you are interested you can PM me for Philippines only.
Yeah, buy an ASIC from Newbie...

Hi everyone, newbie here, i really need some help GPU: MSI RX570 Gaming X 4GB, Hynix vram Using official AMD blockchain aug 23 drivers MSI afterburner beta 15 BIOS Modded, copied 2:1500 strap to above, did not change 1:xxxx straps I could get 24.9 mh/s for ETH after BIOS MOD however I could not get to 28mh/s or above I tried overclocking in MSI AB, increased the memory clock from 1750mhz to 2000mhz, but the hashing rate actually dropped from 25mh/s to 24.8mh/s any help is greatly appreciated!! With this kind of bios mod you won't be able to increase hashrate much. You need custom performance timing. You can search some of them. I've post where to find performance timing for Samsung: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1954245.0

Yep, Monero is ASIC resistant

You need mobo with enough PCI-E lanes if you want 6 or more GPUs. Personaly I don't like these mining mobos, like TB-250, I had problem set one of this and there are no leds, so I had no idea what is wrong... It was CPU. Stock bios doesn't support G3900 CPU... Almost 2 years old CPU is not supported on this year new mobo -_-
I'm now using only Z270 chipset. Mix of Asus Z270-P and MSI Z270A-PRO. I like them both. Asus had some troubles but bios updates make it work like a charm.

Does anybody here have GPU with Hynix H5GC8H24MJ memory? I need test timings. The only card I know using this is MSI RX 580 Gaming X 8GB Hynix. Thanks.
I have this memory in an MSI 470 8gb armor OC. Great, send me an e-mail monerobiosedit@gmail.com, I will give you the timing strap for testing.

sorry, but can you know what this uber mix is? if i'd know why i should post a question about that? )) i just want more speed that's all, can you help me out ? )) Sure, send me an e-mail.

This is an amazing guide. Thank you very much for sharing all this.
As I see, no one shared detailed configuration settings for their rigs and I wanted to share what I achieved.
According to your guide, I modded bios of my 4 x Sapphire 4GB Hynix RX470 OC cards with easy way. After that, I tried XMR-STAK-AMD miner and my rig reached 2787.7 H/s. Eash card is getting around 695 - 698 H/s
I'm using Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition Beta for Blockchain drivers.
My Msi Afterburner settings are :
-84mV GPU Voltage +50 Power Limit 1100 MHz Core 2000 Mhz Memory
My rig is drawing 500W directly from the wall. (The whole system.) I hope these stats help someone on this forum.
The question that I would like to ask is;
Am I using the right driver version for XMR? Do you have any driver suggestions? Can driver affect performance for XMR? Can these cards achieve 800 H/s with another configuration?
I have 30 RX cards and I just tried these settings on 4 of them. Rest of my cards are mining ETH. If I can get more 100 H/s per card, that would be amazing.
Best wishes,
You don't need to use blockchain drivers, I have 17.6.2 and WattTool is working like a charm. You may need better timings, but also conf file would help you get better hashrate. Why you adjust power limit when you undervolting? Also you will have better hashrate when you OC memory more, but check for memory errors.
