182  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Focus on Bitcoin this year or sa ibang bagay?+ Qs about trading ad sa YT on: April 22, 2021, 02:11:17 AM

I think what you need is flexible plan. For example, mag time management ka.

3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, pinagsasabay ko yung crypto, trading, or ano mang gusto kong gawin.

183  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Nosedive from $60K to $52K in 15 Minutes on: April 20, 2021, 01:53:47 AM

Hello GOLD_official,

I sent you a PM regarding my participation in the campaign.

Edit: 20/04/2021

Hello GOLD_official,

As we have discussed yesterday, I am now leaving the GOLD Bounty campaign as of today. I would like to thank you for giving me a chance to participate in this wonderful campaign for 1 and a half year. This is by far the best Bounty Campaign I've had.

Best of luck to GOLD Stablecoin Project.

PS: I'd like to keep wearing the signature and the Avatar for now if it's okay with you until I've found something to wear again.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Going to buy 5000$ of tokens at their pre-sale on: April 15, 2021, 04:22:41 PM
Even the most "legal" thing that you could buy in the market some of the time eventually turns into a scam so I wouldn't really vouch in the legality of a project. Also, take note that cryptocurrency market moves so fast that you wouldn't know that happened in just a few weeks so an ICO like that, that takes several months to finish (that's just phase I might add) is really not worth it. You would have gotten more investing in older coin that investing in the ICO.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think bear market will come? on: April 14, 2021, 07:33:09 AM
The way market is behaving right now? it's going to take a long time for that. We just achieve a new all-time high which means people are still accumulating and there's no sign of stopping. And with coinbase going public with the IPO, we might not see the bear this year.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Binance Coin ( BNB) failing investors? on: April 12, 2021, 01:25:13 PM

To me, Bnb is doing well. You did not profit like 10x to 20x does not means that a coin is failing. It is just that the hype is not there.

I agree. Though it's not like the hype is not there. The hype is there, it's just that the marketcap is too big to profit 10-20x. I think that's what's most people is misunderstanding. I don't know why OP said Binance is failing when in fact is still in the top 3 and I don't see it falling in the top 10 anytime soon.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is altsignals on telegram legit? on: April 11, 2021, 05:20:42 PM
Of course no. It's a massive scam. You're basically paying for something that you guys are actually pumping yourself. The one who's reaping the rewards are always the admins of the group by buying massive coins then dump them after signaling the members of the said altcoin. Just stay away from this groups even if it's free, it's not worth your time. Heck I'd even stay away from telegram as it's a breeding ground for all this scams.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC losing its dominance big time on: April 10, 2021, 03:54:04 PM

I don't know man. It seems still pretty high to me. The only altcoins who are competing in the dominance are those in the top 20. Other altcoins are simply too little to compete with Bitcoin. "BTC losing its dominance big time" is kind of a stretched in my opinion.
190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bloomberg predicting BTC reaching $400K in 2021 on: April 09, 2021, 02:25:54 PM
I think that's stupid. They expect Bitcoin to gain SIX TRILLION DOLLARS more in marketcap in just a year? that's way more than the top leading companies in the world. Well, to be fair, Bitcoin is different from those companies but still, it's really unrealistic for me. I know that Bitcoin can grow that big someday but I don't really think it can just suddenly attract that much money in just a year.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs everywhere ! on: April 08, 2021, 06:50:00 AM
Well, anything new or innovative gets hype so I'd say it's pretty normal in the crypto space that the attention is on NFTs. I think it's the profits that's matter to them that's why there's so much attention to it.

NFT is basically like a place to record the ownership of a digital art and I don't really see much to it since we know digital arts can be copied thousands of times for free. For an average owner of NFT, they can't do anything much with plagiarism, especially in the internet (that's what I've understood so I might be wrong). Unless you can totally own something physically by buying the NFT of it, then that's going to be good.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does the high gas fee make the altcoin make less volatile from bounty hunters on: March 31, 2021, 02:32:15 PM
A few years back people always said bounty hunters were responsible for some alts crashing because whenever they got paid their bounty tokens they cashed in for eth or btc forcing price to go down sometimes lower than ico price.

Now with current high transaction fees we experiencing sending tokens of a value of $10 or so is expensive as this could cost you twice the value of your reward which has seen less micro transactions of erc20 tokens, with this development is the high transaction fee good for crypto as micro transactions have reduced on the ethereum blockchain?

Let me make this clear, it wasn't only the bounty hunters who are responsible for the crashing of the initial price because most of the time, bounty hunters are only given more or less 1% of the supply of the coin which is pretty insignificant. It's the combination of the investors and bounty hunters, probably the dev team too but mostly the fault of the project itself.

Anyway, I don't think the gas fee will help with the dumping of the coin as long as people still gets profit from it. $10 is still insignificant if the price of the tokens they got is valued at $100 or more, that's still $90 gain.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC was a lifetime chance and I don't think we will see a similar opportunity on: March 31, 2021, 02:26:10 PM
I don't imagine anything else that you'll be able to get for free or pennies and then value million times more. I just can't. No lottery will ever give you that. I admire the early adopters and wish I've been one of them, unfortunately no "friend" told me about it and I only joined in 2013 when I've found about it alone, still not bad but could have been better.

2013 was still a super great year to start investing in Bitcoin. The price is super cheap compared today and even knowing Bitcoin that year would trigger you to also know altcoins that would be the tops in the ranking. I started in early 2017 so you're really fortunate to know Bitcoin at that year. But still, the fact that we are here, knowing what Bitcoin is, is still a fortune for all of us. Those who don't know Bitcoin are the unfortunates.
194  Economy / Economics / Re: More bullish news: Paypal will alllow crypto checkout on: March 30, 2021, 03:45:23 PM
A fantastic news for those who wants to spend cryptocurrencies without converting it to fiat first, well because paypal is doing the job for you  Grin. Access to 29 million merchants using your cryptocurrency is a huge to adoption. Though It's not particularly new to me since a third-party wallet app here already does this in our country.

Anyway, I wish they allow withdrawal of Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency next.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB still undervalue on: March 30, 2021, 03:21:25 PM
I don't think BNB is undervalued or overvalued. Its value came from the fact that it is owned by the largest exchange to date and that it is associated with multiple features (like BSC, launchpads, etc.) so its current value is justified. If you look at the marketcap, it's 5x less than ETH so it still has more room to grow in the future, as long as they keep doing a good job.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal created crypto checkout service!! on: March 30, 2021, 01:34:26 PM
Also, paypal is legally accepted in countries where cryptocurrecy was banned as a medium of transactions, how it will works?

That's a bit of a concern. They will probably try to prohibit this service to countries that banned Bitcoin, like a separate app for a specific country. It's not like they can anything about it except to comply with the legalities. Nonetheless, it's a great news since they are actually making more ways for cryptocurrency to get recognize across different merchants.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous a red flag? on: March 30, 2021, 05:42:23 AM
Nowadays, anything new with anonymous team is always a red flag, especially when they are conducting ICO/IEO. The only think that makes anonymous team as a pass for me is when the project is self-funded and of course no huge premines. Anyway, even self-funded projects isn't 100% safe.
198  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing only for the rich? Think again on: March 30, 2021, 01:49:41 AM
I think the problem here is that the majority of people wasn't taught how to handle finance and investment. Our school doesn't do that which is why most are ignorant in this topic and thus created the mentality of "Investing is only for the rich". Imagine, rich people have the access to every resources they want and they are taught how to handle finance at a young age to preserve wealth.

Anyway, I think that mentality is starting to go away because we are at the era of information where resources are everywhere.
199  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Quantum on: March 29, 2021, 01:26:19 PM
I've never heard of this trading site before so I can't give much but I saw some red flags about.

https://scambroker.com/quantom-capital/

https://www.personal-reviews.com/2021/01/quantum-capitals-review-quantum-capitals-com-scam/

Is this site what you are talking about? it seems like a scam so you should stay away.
200  Economy / Economics / Re: donating 50% of the vaccines purchased to the government. on: March 29, 2021, 11:11:53 AM
Now, some private companies are attempting to vaccinate their employees by importing vaccines that are much cheaper but there is a protocol requiring them to donate 50% of the vaccine purchased to the government.

Their target is most likely big companies who has more than enough to pay for the vaccination of their employees. It's those companies who can afford vaccinations anyway. Most companies will likely wait for free vaccination. Maybe $400 million still isn't enough for the whole population? so that's probably why they are still demanding more from large companies.

I also discovered that vaccines sold in this country are twice as expensive as those sold in other nations

Are you talking about AstraZeneca? I think it's not only the Philippines who is suffering from double the price, other countries are too (like bangladesh, south africa, etc). Probably because richer countries are hoarding them. AstraZeneca is being made in the UK so it's much cheaper in there.

We are falling behind in the SEA since other countries' vaccine programs began a long time ago, while ours, not implemented and resulted in a slew of nonsense conditions that will keep the country behind in vaccination. Take notice that daily cases are approaching 10,000, placing us in the top two categories for most cases in Southeast Asia, and we are currently under ECQ (Enhanced Community Quarantine) for the third time, I believe.

I think we already passed 10k already. I don't know what's happening but it also doesn't make sense for me that the covid cases are increasing daily instead of decreasing even though we already have vaccines available. Why are out government so slow in rolling it out? We're basically evolving, just backwards.
