181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: February 13, 2021, 05:30:15 PM
Pacquiao Manny who we all know to be a fighter had sometimes said "i can fight anyone in the ring," so, with this offering of $10m to fight Terence Crawford definitely should be the fight of the year IMO. In Pacquiao Manny last fight he had wasn't a replicate of who he's or was, but with this fight in the month of May, 2021 in Dubai will be great and won't mise it for any reason.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion on SafePal project and Token future on: February 12, 2021, 07:20:33 PM
What are you think about SafePal (SFP) token, which is recently listed and tradable on Binance and some other exchanges. It's price sudden surge and given an amazing profit to their holders. Is it good to hold it for some more time or this is the time to quit from the market?
SafePal (SFP) token was one of the best project of this 2021 IMO becasue it was too kind to users during it airdrop time. I was fortunate to have made some tokens during the airdrop and as today made me worthy some bulks into my wallet. I think that any cryptocurrency project Binance exchnage choose to list should be seen as an opportunity for anyone who get in quick, though at present the price still moving between $2.7 and maybe it can be hype to made $10 soon.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If a project gets too complicated on: February 12, 2021, 07:02:57 PM
Sincerely speaking, any project that come along with complications will definitely have some side effect in adoption, although the said Bitcoin was the first on the list but was latter made simplified for everyone but those without simplification are the Urbit project which came after the Ethereum but becasue of it complications among some issue with the CEO controversial writings it never succeed, so, it disappear because of it complication and was never be adopted compare to Bitcoin and Ethereum. projects should be simplify for more adoption.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Online Education, the future of learning? on: February 12, 2021, 06:46:51 PM
<snip>

I am not new to crypto or blockchain but I don't have any extensive knowledge regarding the technicalities. Do you guys think that there is a use case for blockchain on online education?
There different case uses for Blockchain technology contrary to those who thought that it only useful for the in the financial sectors. Educational sector is where the Blockchain technology was meant to recreate becasue there are millions of illegal certificates. Student enrollments, fees payment transparency and student assessments can be made easy by this Blockchain technology. For more knowledge about the Blockchain you can visit YouTube for more lectures.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk changed the market circles on: February 12, 2021, 06:09:15 PM
we know that there is ups and downs in the market. But this time market correction not come yet.

Due to elon mask entering to this market so big bear market not come unlike 2018 jan ?

This market at present doesn't mean it won't have a crash as often from here onward but that there will be more difficulties to what we saw back in 2018(when the market was ups-and downs). The market will be more stable as time goes on, along corrections when need arise in the process. For Elon Musk to have come into the cryptocurrency market with all his wealth means good to the entire industry, so, we should expect more of these move from Bitcoin henceforth.

186  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigerian Bitcointalk Community Hangout. {Current topic: NIN & Local board} on: February 12, 2021, 05:36:02 PM

Even small pikin know sey dem our ogas at de top sold our kountry finish nd not dis deir accusations aganst Bitcoin, de question i dey ask som of my frinds be sey, wen Bitcoin came into Nigeria?, or how many years dis Bitcoin don dey spend with users? somtin wey neva reach 12years, why dem kountry don be 60+ years. Any pesi wey go or wey no go skool shuld know sey dem our leaders jakpa our kountry since b4 Bitcoin come, so, far-far-far-fowww, our leaders be our whahalas.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nigeria government did not ban bitcoin on: February 11, 2021, 07:59:14 PM
Why do some governments constantly change their minds about crypto? They ban them, then accept it again?
Due to government ignorance toward new technology they chose to confused themselves in this regards. Nigeria government thought they are wise with their financials but regretted their actions after the banned. The CBN Director of payment made it clear that many misunderstood this memo and they are working on strategies that will exhibit this new technology with the old financial system.

There were rumors that this action of the Federal Government of Nigeria has some reasons behind it; some said that there where money laundering which was likely executed by some strong group in the government, this operation gave them the means to laundered some money abroad, and i quite agreed with this rumors. In the history of Nigeria government, whenever this government want to execute anything bad they tend to create unpleasant atmosphere for citizens to succeed in their acts.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: isn't a crypto market really funny? on: February 11, 2021, 07:06:34 PM
<sniP>
I saw a big loss in this market, so I coveted it. I hope you all benefit.
Don't act funny, oh you are acting funny; don't you know that everything here is be driven by the community?, DOGE coin was just another pump and dump and those who failed to take the opportunity of cash-out for the dump should try understand this system, again. Crypto-platforms are community driving platforms and Elon Musk took this advantage to pump what he chose to pump, next time be more smart with profit when it's not Bitcoin in question.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we get another golden oppurtunity to buy? on: February 11, 2021, 06:54:28 PM
Like many bitcoiners im one of the people who didnt bought bitcoin at 6000$ or even 15k or 20k$ and i wonder if its possible to see bitcoin in at least 20k again
If no should i buy now or wait more to get lower price ?
Though nothing seem impossible in this industry as price of Bitcoin can crash at anytime but i doubt if there will be another disastrous event or news that will help bring the price of Bitcoin down to $20k. I wouldn't encourage you to wait for another time before buy Bitcoin rather than now becasue the possibility of Bitcoin to make $30k seem unrealizeable in my opinion. I would rather encourage you to buy Bitcoin now and hold for long-term.

My submissions were deduced from the possibility of more giants techns getting into Bitcoin as we have saw Elon Musk among other big investors coming into play in Bitcoin, also, there are rumors of Apple and Goggle joining soon.

191  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Bitcoin is going cross $50k? on: February 10, 2021, 05:02:12 PM
<snip>
Do you think the $50k will be exceeded in the next hours or will we have to wait a loooot longer for it?
The system of bitcoin market isn't just a system we can just imagine or guess about, mostly in it price. Yeah, we moved swiftly to get into the $40k+ zone but something tells me that it was because of some good news that filtered in through Elon Musk, so, we should expect more bigger news to see something bigger in future, if that doesn't come early there might be a correction before another move of bitcoin into $50k. Currently, the bitcoin market keep mute maybe the correction will take place soon or another good news to push up the price.
192  Economy / Speculation / Re: Apple is buying Bitcoin on: February 10, 2021, 04:46:40 PM
News are coming that Apple is going to buy cryptocurrency.

Apple can surge another 25% by adding cryptocurrency services to its Wallet app, RBC says :
https://www.businessinsider.in/stock-market/news/apple-can-surge-another-25-by-adding-cryptocurrency-services-to-its-wallet-app-rbc-says/articleshow/80757342.cms
Well, only if they the Apple have something big for the community then they might decide to buy some stash of Bitcoin, but, this is not likely to happen based on the information you shared above. The above link show that they are likely going to add crypto services to wallet and not buying bitcoin. Though in every rumor there is truth, hope to see more of their involvement into crypto in future which will help crypto spread like wide fire.
193  Economy / Speculation / Re: HOW LONG WILL THIS BULL RUN LAST ? on: February 10, 2021, 04:31:16 PM
The bull run right now, are influenced by Elon Musk. Not just in BTC or Doge, but anything that he will say to be good will suddenly goes bull. It feels like he is now in the control in the market, so if anything will change, Elon Musk might have said something in his twitter about it.
This has be one of my greatest surprise when discussing the current bull run, there were factors that help the last bull-run make something good in 2017 which was the help of retailers but what we had today as bull run is different from what we used to see in the past bull run. With this current market still marking waves on bullish momentum through the help of some notable bitcoin enthusiast like Elon M  and Binance advertisement should give a pure signal that this bull-run will last for longer period compare to the former, so, we should expect something bullish in 2021.

195  Other / Meta / Re: Request for Nigeria local board on: February 09, 2021, 06:29:22 PM
First and foremost, thanks to everyone who have contributed to this discussion of we Nigerians having a local board on this exalted Bitcoin museum platform. We're Nigerians, different from the rest of the world in terms of technology, though very slow to engage in new technologies doesn't mean we can't build a formidable force(sometimes the government does unusual to her citizens). Currently, the Nigeria Local Board (community hangout) has been in existence since March 17, 2019 and has more than 36+ active users and there are some who aren't interested to join until the local board be achieve.

Probably this discussion shouldn't pose difficulties before approve IMO becasue the Nigeria second largest language is the Pidgin English, meanwhile there are 9 major regional languages in Nigeria which are:- Yoruba, Edo, Kanuri, Ijaw Hausa, Igbo, Efik, Fulani, Idoma. Also, let not forget that there are 528 languages spoken in Nigeria, including some that have no known native speakers; and what bind us together is the Pidgin English which is the reason we are agitating for Local Board to harness the beauty of this great Africa Country withing the forum. Learn more about the Us.

I appeal to all necessary authorities saddling with the responsibility of local board approval to consider the request of the Nigerians and give us a local board now that the CBN has started their ranting on Bitcoin lovers, we need trusted individuals to trade with within the forum and good and trusted escrow within the local Board also, please!.

197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: January 31, 2021, 01:40:24 PM
Hopefully we all don't have heart disease, so there's no need to have a heart attack if we win the lottery. Because it is very sad if we die when
we win the lottery, the prizes we get cannot be enjoyed. Therefore, from now on, start living healthily, in order to avoid heart disease. Pay attention
to the food we eat, reduce fast food. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables, then drink lots of mineral water. And don't forget doing sports at least 3x a week.

That's only the physical part of our body. We should also be responsible and take care of our mental, spiritual and social health, as this may also become a factor for deteriorating our health overall. This 3 are most probably been set aside as people believes that exercise and proper diet are what we only need to stay healthy. Stay safe, and be healthy.
There are millions of gamblers out there that their body system is deteriorating without them noticing becasue of their "i don't care attitude". It's advisable that human health should be most prioritize among other things becasue there lays our wealth. Healthier living should be mostly encourage among gamblers becasue of winnings or losses.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler who manages to beat the casino through cheating on: January 31, 2021, 01:27:19 PM
I stop when get profit from gambling because have try many time if keep going on to betting all my fund loss, so better left and close all gambling site than withdraw fund before take back by gambling. Many people when reach much profit keep going on for gambling because they think can get much profit again, but when all in least profit earn before loss and have looking money again for deposit. Better manage with your profit maybe half to withdraw and half to use betting again if you can't stop for gambling.
There are those who don't have such mindset like yours, they will continue with their gambling even when the luck doesn't be with them. It's better to always be mindful of what we spend on gambling casino becasue lack of control won't bring something good into a gambler's life if he or she continue with gambling. Personally, whenever i gamble and come up with some good winnings then i will opted out immediately.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thailand government seeks measures to tackle the problems of illegal gambling. on: January 31, 2021, 01:09:58 PM
Basically if 70% adult are into illegal gambling should have made the government to raise eyebrow into it reform, there are indications that if the government of Thailand refuse to take this urgent action there will be more individuals at that age into gambling, which won't be good for the entire country. Having the necessary measurement "to tackle this problems of illegal gambling" will not only enhance government revenue generation but also making gamblers useful for themselves.
200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: January 31, 2021, 11:28:24 AM
Lucky indeed in gambling, winning that billion is okay but the way the taxers takes almost half of his winnings is not okay, even if his identity not revealed in the process.

Damn taxes.
The 60% taxation looks like a day robbing in my opinion becasue such amount is huge, if during ticketing tax was paid i wonder why should the winners be border to pay tax from his/her winning, though the government always love double taxation.
