Should settle about 10.4 now, if we go through the weekend with more than 10.2 it is a confirmed move – expect 11+ next week.
Weekends tend down, for sure, but don't ignore that Mondays do as well. So do Tuesdays. Is this accurate? It's based on all Mt. Gox USD historical data up until July 30, 2012. It therefore cannot be used as a predictive indicator (because it uses historical data), but would be accurate if used for hindcasting. Close enough...

I thought the site had ads, but then I realized it where people being clever with their SIGs.
So what does this mean now? If the site has ads then people can't link to their projects anymore? Fuck that.

Don't forget about AES encryption too!

Apparently they revoke it if you miss a payment.
Interesting, most CAs that I have met require a payment for the full validity period, but maybe Verisign has a payment plan because they are so damn expensive for EV certs. Also, epic fail not paying bills. A bank not paying their bills? Wow! Good thing I am going with direct ACH payments when I can!

I don't know how helpful this is, but since no one else replied, try online legal advice sites like legalzoom.com to make sure your collection practices are within law, and see if you can't contract a lawyer to contact the people directly. There are bid/contract sites for lawyers as well. Intimidation seems to be the only real weapon debtors have against those owing cash and a lawyer might be more prevalent then any person or company.
Oh Jesus Christ do NOT go to LegalZoom. If you want to be fucked in the ass and enjoy it then fine, but I wouldn't recommend these hacks to anyone. They are not lawyers! They are high priced legal secretaries! And yes I am talking through experience. Fuck that!

Could you use a DVD burner to "draw" a QR code by burning it with the right pattern? What about write text?
I would guess a semi-destructive process affecting only the center layer but leaving the polycarbonate coating would be pretty durable.
Is it possible to "burn through" with a DVD burner?
see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LightscribeVery cool, but unfortunately, it looks like its not very durable. Special storage precautions are necessary to prevent LightScribe discs from fading. HP's LightScribe website warns users to "keep discs away from extreme heat, humidity and direct sunlight", "store them in a cool, dark place", "use polypropylene disc sleeves rather than PVC sleeves", and also notes that "residual chemicals on your fingers could cause discoloration of the label image". Such chemicals include common hand lotions and hair care products. What shocks me is that people are putting these types of chemicals in their hair! Same thing as Coca Cola eats away at battery corrosion as well as refreshing your thirst!

In 20-30 years you'll be able to photograph the DVD on your hi-resolution digital camera, then use an app to decode the DVD pits from the photo.
Unlikely. At first optics make it an issue, any conventional camera cannot maintain a decent enough focus across the entire surface. Currently you cannot even do that with LPs, you need a flatbed scanner to do that, and it doesn't even work particularly good. It might be possible we might have nanoscale microlens cameras one day which might be able to do it. Then there is the issue of wavelength. No I don't think that method would work very well. Then again, for digital data it's best to just copy it to a new media in time. Last but not least I would be surprised if bitcoin lasts that long. I wonder how many Forks we will go through? 5?

I am currently working on a BitBonds solution that uses paper and encrypted keys. Trying to figure out if i should store a shit ton on one private address or limit it to just ONE BTC per private address.
I have found out there is a limitation to the size of text you can store on a QR code. Somewhere around 2000 characters. So probably have BitBonds of 1, 5 and 10 using up to 10 private keys should be enough.
Don't mine me. I am paranoid as fuck! LOL. Somehow need to put a pass phrase HINT on the thing too but without giving out too much of a clue to help with a brute force. Perhaps a "As uncle tony" or some shit. But then if tony die's the bitcoin go along with it!

OK people. I think it is about time to create 2 keys to access API shit! If this thing was brute forced then we need to ramp up security.
BTW. If it was brute forced, how did they confirm if it was valid or not without triggering a flag in log reports on either website?

It looks like it produces a disc in the same fashion as a disc manufacturer by a master disc for retail DVDs and CDS. No die, just pits and valleys.
The discs are about 3 bucks each but hey, I remember when DVD-R was the same amount. Give it time and the price will go down. I don't think this is ready for the PRIME TIME but if you are an early adopter type and obviously you are if you are using Bitcoin, I would say give it a shot.
I am not sure how relevant this would be to storing private keys but who knows.

Who would have guessed that BTC-E was more secure than Bitcoinica?
I am not like most people. I DON"T judge the security of a website based on AWESOME WEB DESIGN.
