Assuming the forum still exists, I'll re-post in 4-5 years and see if I've made it yet. lol

So, as mentioned, I was taken a bit off-guard by the timing of this question, the ASCII patterns & characters matching my newer signature (when the words are removed from the sample text), etc.. but it seems this may be a good example of how common ASCII patterns like this can be.

I really don't see how one line of ASCII like this could ever be considered plagiarism or warrant any feedback, the amount of free generators out there that spit out characters in one-line with various patterns make it seem nearly impossible to say anyone was the original author of a simple ASCII string of characters. More complex ASCII would be a different story.

This is what I had used (with some minor modifications to make it fit), but the same pattern(s) can be found in many places when googling. The dude on eBay probably used a similar site/generator originally.. even if he didn't, it seems unnecessary to even give him credit.

edit: Random thought - someone needs to create a parody of "I'm bringin' sexy back" as "I'm bringin' ASCII back". 

Probably to fix the broken table/view Philip [inadvertently] created with the original title which skewed the main 'meta' board... because it was so long (with no spaces), and would not wrap in the column. You should be able to use word-wrap or word-break in CSS to avoid the issue, but maybe it was just easier to edit the title.

owlcatz is a good dude. He's done plenty of successful trades and has always represented himself consistently throughout the years.. I'd trust him.

I don't want to get into too much negativity here towards Og by digging back into the lies & false narratives he still seems to carry on about me, I've said my piece(s) already. BPIP and the parsers are running well, I just wish I could find more time to devote on all of the future improvements we have lined up. If the real world can ever settle down, I might not have to keep shifting large personal priorities around so much.. but I digress.

EDIT #2: I could see this being implemented as a new type of trivia-style thread type where the user/OP inputs their own trivia Q/A, not sure how the IQ/score would work into something like that though, maybe something similar to poll results but with users listed based on the score. (definitely not getting this question right on this edit lol - anatomical term for the midline groove connecting upper lip to nose? wtf.. ok I looked it up.  )

OK some of the answers are not accurate, I know I've gotten a few correct and been penalized, most recently 'what state is known as the mother of presidents'... I selected Ohio, and WRONG.. so I give up, too annoying seeing my score drop so much on a CORRECT answer! stupid trivia! lol

Seems to be happening already.. and he's been using scatter bombs and vacuum bombs (assuming the flamethrower..).
I'm not sure when people will realize you can't negotiate with this man.

My ultimate fears still revolve around the true mental stability of Putin, and whether he's mentally capable of standing down, at this point in his political, and mortal, life... or if he sees this as his 'final hurrah'.

Putin's approval ratings in Russia seem to have been declining somewhat quickly the past 4-5 years, and I don't think the invasion will help those ratings, and he probably knows that. He's getting older. He has weapons he hasn't used yet, which are deployed. He's not a guy who appears he is going to walk away and accept a loss at this point.

I do hope I'm wrong, because if he begins to use some of the weapons, like the "flamethrower", we are probably heading towards an eventual deployment of a nuclear weapon on some level, probably one the world has never seen, and probably the end of life as we know it.. and ya, that's depressing.

That said, it is inspiring to see Ukrainians putting up this type of fight.. Russia is definitely not getting what they expected, and I'm starting to see support from all over the world for Ukranians, more closed airspaces, additional sanctions (finally), companies speaking out and cutting ties with Russia, etc.. which is good stuff, they need every bit of help they can get.
Even Klitschko got in on the action.

While I do realize it is a sensitive situation, from a NATO/US perspective, if someone like Putin is allowed to take another country such as Ukraine, with its unique strategic location for further conflict, it seems equivalent to [militarily] shooting one's self in the foot before getting into an eventual boxing match with someone who just put on a new pair of loaded gloves.. this is of course assuming Putin succeeds in taking Ukraine.. which I really hope he does not.

Hasn't he already reached hitler status by invading Ukraine in this fashion?  He has said he is seeking to "denazify" the country. He's inhumane, and his actions do resemble hitler.. a narcissistic psychopath, a mad man.

No country should be allowed to walk into another country (especially one that appears to have close/family ties between their citizens) and tell his soldiers to annihilate anyone who opposes them. For nobody to really be helping defend Ukranians, human beings, feels as bad as when people turned their heads while Jews were being slaughtered by hitler.

Seems like Ukranians get a choice to fight (and likely die), flee the country (best choice at this point IMO, if you even can), or [eventually] join Russia's federation (making it bigger).. but hey, for any struggling with the changes, I'm sure Putin will offer denatzifying education facilities, a.k.a modern day concentration camps to "help" those struggling.

 How is the power going out? EMP?.. I would think Putin has more incentive to detonate a nuclear EMP on western countries than western countries would have detonating it on themselves.

You think Biden is picking this path to help the stock market?  Either way, for me, I can't see the stock market being a good reason to let Ukranians be terrorized while we sit around for a month watching.. I think the long-term effects/consequences of this decision is worse than a [likely temporary] dip in the stock market.

What's the plan IF he threatens the same thing to any other country he wants to take over after Ukraine?  

We should do whatever we can to avoid WWIII... but, ya, feels like the match has been lit.  

It appears the "strategy" from NATO & US's actions are going to be allowing Russia to walk in and take over Ukraine / the government, through force, and then will start negotiating to protect the NATO countries around them..?  Why in the hell are the citizens of the Ukraine being sacrificed while we freeze some bank accounts?

Do we really think Putin cares about the sanctions right now..?  Maybe he cares about them in a month from now, but by then how many innocent people would have died?  How much destruction will be caused? How much momentum will a mad man gain by such a minimal response to an invasion?.. is a precedent being set?  How different will (worse) could this situation be in 1 month?

When Biden was asked today by a reporter: "You're confident that these "devastating" sanctions are going to be as devastating as Russian missiles, bullets & tanks?"
Biden: "Yyes, Russian bullets, missiles, and tanks in Ukraine. Yes, I am."  

We aren't even using the full force and capability of the sanctions.. Biden wouldn't answer when asked why he won't sanction Putin today.

He did however respond to:
Reporter: "Respectfully, Sir.. what more are you waiting for?" (relating to SWIFT/Putin not sanctioned)
Biden: "The sanctions we imposed exceed SWIFT.".... "Let's have another conversation in a month or so and see how they've worked out"

I'm disappointed. I feel very bad for the citizens of Ukraine and the soldiers of Russia, and it's truly sad to think how many lives are already lost, and how many future one's are at stake. God speed.

IMO his guts started back with Obama, when everyone downplayed the threat that Russia poses, and everyone allowed Russia to keep building up their military & nuclear programs.. his guts, and finances, were further pumped up with Trump.. and then slow Joe combined with the fallout of a politicized pandemic is the icing on the cake.

I hate conflict, but I do hope NATO gets bigger balls.. but ya, Putin has been dangerous for a long time, and if Joe and/or NATO haven't been doing what they're supposed to be doing in preparing, and being willing to pull the trigger, to shut down those nuclear & military facilities, then we're all probably going to be fucked one way or the other.

I couldn't foresee the possibility of a full scale invasion up until Putin's recent hour long speech a day or so ago, no clue why NATO or someone didn't start doing something more then, seems like Russia & Belarus are coming right in.. but it's cool, Biden & NATO are gonna get some of their peeps on those sanctions any day now, while Ukrainians fight off the Russian military.

Ukraine is now under martial law.

The people working their asses off in hospitals get a smaller picture at their local hospital(s) of what is happening, but even then, the small amount of medical professionals I have talked to locally, who are friends (mainly nurses & 2 doctors), seem well aware of what the CDC does and how politically-driven they are, so they take most of what the CDC says and does with a grain of salt. Yet, IMO, everyone else seems to be treating these guys like God's and allowing decisions that potentially have long-term consequences.

Unless you are extremely high risk and willing to accept the mRNA experimentation, IMO, the best solution for most is going to be vitamins C, D, and Zinc, and practice proper hygiene. I personally don't mind masks and would encourage their use at times of high spread and close environments, but I dislike mandates in general.

This has been feeling more like when the CDC created a 5th vital sign (pain) in 1996, and big pharma rolled out their "very tested, non-addictive" opioid "solution" (Oxy) to it the same year.. which has killed millions and gotten many millions more addicted to them, and it isn't over yet. Every doctor under the sun defended and distributed this for many many years, and the majority ignored the addictive behaviors simply because they were told by the "experts" it wasn't addictive.

It's cool though, they have more medications for the addictions they created.  

I have a difficult time believing the guys you all tout as 'experts' are truly looking out for our health or our best interests. While many of the local ground-level guys, doctors/nurses, believe they are doing good, and a lot of them actually are doing good things, the people above them are playing games, motivated by finances, and seemingly just want to get as many dependents on the medical industry & pharmaceuticals as possible.
