The password is emailed to the address you specify, we do not have access to the passwords

The password is emailed to us, from your mail-server, which you have access to the "SENT" Folder >_<

I apologize if this concerns you  and we will fix this issue ASAP, but as I said we do not have access to this information, it is 100% automated and we can only monitor accounts not access them.
1) You have access to your own mail server
2) You send passwords in plaintext over email. Email is not secure and anyone snooping on the network can intercept emails.

1806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Will this allow me to sleep peacefully at night? on: February 26, 2014, 03:30:36 AM
I did the same thing, and I laminated the paper wallets. I can attest to the fact that if you split up your bitcoins into smaller even amounts in more paper wallets, it makes you feel more rich. But you took more security precautions than most people I know, you should be just fine.

1810  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mt Gox is bankrupt, and Mark Karpeles is a thief! on: February 26, 2014, 03:01:07 AM
I wouldn't be surprised if a year later my computer freezes and the screen is forever showing a picture of him holding a frappichino. It'll be a new kind of troll virus.
1811  Economy / Gambling / Re: EveryDice.com | 0.99% Edge - Invest - Referral - Mobile - Fair - Instant on: February 26, 2014, 02:59:02 AM
Has anyone here bothered to take the time to check and make sure they're actually provably fair?

It's waiting to be verified by iram3130: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=481137.0
That's crazy, i'll test it right now.

Starting out, the hash of my server seed is
Code:
c975ac0a72c56c2f2274b99da9e0573fc07f5a449b324622754fab6350f4ffc135f67216b6da8c5a9f5dc5dd6d16fd59e86271a886249420510266a2319063b6
And I have changed my client seed to
Code:
LolClientSeedForTesting
I did two rolls, one high and one low.

Roll 1: <50
Site seed:
Code:
iAdcmXA3uCxA0ECHuJWE8h6YhkkYwm5EHmOCdUTOJHqHmaKpwx
Nonce:
Code:
0
User seed:
Code:
LolClientSeedForTesting

That makes the string I need to hash:
Code:
0-iAdcmXA3uCxA0ECHuJWE8h6YhkkYwm5EHmOCdUTOJHqHmaKpwxLolClientSeedForTesting-0
The SHA-512 of that string is
Code:
39e0dd0409c442a28475ab352dcbda22d0d84b7fd470d107fe21287cce5422bd80120fd4a7b116b7d4da188cce17c31f165cfff93610c0c17679cd701b19bc81
Converting the first 5 characters, "39e0d", to decimal yields the number 237069, well under the max of 1,000,000. This checks out with my roll of 23.7069. I'll save you the wall of text and just say that my second roll checked out too.

1812  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] My steam account. [JUST $35] on: February 26, 2014, 02:47:51 AM
If it gets banned, I'll refund your money. Chances are I'm going to spend the bitcoin in the summer, so I'll almost definitely have the bitcoin still. If I don't have the bitcoin, I'll gladly repay with paypal.
Unless you put it in escrow, it's not guaranteed you'll refund anyone and paypal is even worse. Most of us hate paypal with a passion and wouldn't even consider using it.
1813  Economy / Gambling / Re: MODS: WE NEED A PONZI SECTION NOW! on: February 26, 2014, 02:46:29 AM
It seems the only thing that is happening is that the ponzis are getting moved to the games/rounds section, which is just taking the same problem and pushing it somewhere else. They need a sub or a rule against them.
1814  Other / Meta / When are we going to be able to choose avatars again? on: February 26, 2014, 02:40:43 AM
I haven't gotten to put an avatar on my profile and frankly it's pretty disturbing that it's taking theymos this long to sort out the forum.
1815  Other / Meta / Re: Ponzi world taking over gambling section on: February 26, 2014, 02:40:02 AM
The continued presence of all of these is quite disturbing, although I see half of them are being moved to games/rounds.
1816  Other / Meta / Re: It's Time For Theymos To Kill The Alt Section on: February 26, 2014, 02:38:08 AM
If bitcointalk were to shut down the altcoin sub and subsequently endorse another altcoin forum, then most people would probably flock there.
1817  Economy / Gambling / Re: Win 2.50000000 BTC on: February 26, 2014, 02:34:55 AM
If you use gmail and you ever feel the crazy need to sign up for free email spam, change your gmail address. For example, if your gmail address is example@gmail.com, add a plus sign and more letters like example+spam@gmail.com. This way, if they start sending you spam (when, not if) instead of trying to block each sending address, you can just make a filter that deletes all email sent to example+spam@gmail.com but not example@gmail.com.

Shoutout to the owner, one of the very first BTC games I found when I discovered bitcoin. Nicely made website for being one of the first.
1819  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] My steam account. [JUST $35] on: February 26, 2014, 02:27:47 AM
Isn't it against Steam's TOS to sell accounts? If steam finds out you bought this account, it will get banned.
1820  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: I have been toying with the idea of an open marketplace, input wanted on: February 26, 2014, 02:26:54 AM
If you manage to get another bitmit up, that's awesome. If you can even get close, that's great. Any effort is good, there really isn't an ebay-like crypto site out there anymore.
