1201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin? Call the police! on: August 27, 2015, 01:51:38 AM
Bitcoins largest strength is also it's biggest downfall, anonymity can be a blessing and a curse.
1202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: August 27, 2015, 01:50:15 AM
Anyone tried to invest in BitMixer to grow their coin ?
I haven't tried investing in Bitmixer, but if you're looking at investing in other sites take a look at Just-Dice as well. However, I think you'd probably be able to make more money if you offered out loans here on the site, that's a decent way to grow small amounts of bitcoin by 5 to 10% per week, depending on how many loans you hand out and the interest rates. I suspect investing in Bitmixer, Just-Dice or other bitcoin sites would grow your bitcoin very slowly, but fairly steadily.
You have to be careful giving out loans because people can be untrustworthy, but investing in established sites is usually a good idea. The thing is with Just-Dice you're not only investing in the site, but in CLAM as well.
1203  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: August 27, 2015, 01:46:00 AM
Honestly, Bitcoin is so incredibly unpredictable that I doubt anybody knows enough to say how an entire year will go. There are so many different factors.
1204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can people make their public keys location-enabled? on: August 27, 2015, 01:38:38 AM
Perfect for people that want to rob you! Find some nice decently filled wallets, locate the person and rob them.. Wink I wouldnt want this personally.
Seriously...if you have something like this, they have your address, which means they can possibly track your funds, unless you use a new address every time like you should.
1205  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I am out of the mining game :( on: August 26, 2015, 11:45:58 PM
It's sad that things like this happen to good people that want to help the network as much as they want to make money. We're leading ourselves towards centrilization.

I got my payment too, but it was for 52 posts, I thought the maximum was 50?

Seems that you missed the announcement that they have increased the max post limit to 75 posts.
Yeah I did, wish I would have known that before this end of the period, haha. Thanks for letting me know.
1207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: blockchain.info & BIP101 on: August 26, 2015, 11:38:41 PM
It is my opinion and that of security experts that you shouldn't keep your private keys online like that, but them being in blockchain shouldn't affect what happens with BIP 101

It's always good news to see more of these popping up, it gives us new people. They're a great way to get people interested and involved.
1209  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitgen 0.4 released on: August 26, 2015, 11:36:22 PM
Interesting, just another tool for generating addresses? Can it do vanity addresses? It would be nice to have a tool other than vanitygen.

1211  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: INVESTDICE 1 BTC VIP BONUS! on: August 24, 2015, 06:55:23 PM
So you're just using an API to make a dice site, you can't even be bothered to buy actual hosting, and the only way you will let people moderate your chat is if they wager >$100,000 USD, when while betting that long, chances are the reward will be just enough to make their house edge back?

Can you please explain for each permission why you require them? I don't understand why you need so many.
Can you let me know which permissions you would like information on?

Also, do you want the 0.002 BTC bonus described in the OP?
Yeah, I would like the bonus, I'm just talking about things like phone I remember it said, it seemed like a lot of permissions.
1213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This Is How To Kill XT… on: August 23, 2015, 05:37:20 AM
I strongly disagree with a blocksize increase, if it was needed core developers would've done it. It's not a blockstream conspiracy, it really isn't needed and actually hurts Bitcoin.

Biggest problem is block rewards will approach zero with time, transaction fees will be the only miner reward. If blocks are only partially filled then transactions can be sent for free, we need blocks to be full in the future so transaction fees increase enough to support miners.
You make a good point, but at this point I feel like there's already too many large companies making their own hardware, and not many other people are able to mine at all.
1214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why would a Core/XT Hard Fork be bad if both live on? on: August 23, 2015, 05:32:17 AM
Two bitcoins would be very bad, we already have enough trouble gaining traction as is, imagine if we had half as many people doing that and the same number trying to pull people away to their own version?

Also, do you need some help translating the site? The wording looks a bit broken to me and that can be offputting to people.

My username is RGBKey, I'll check out the site. Is it actually provably fair? What kind of a system do you have?

1219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's timezone on: August 23, 2015, 04:36:57 AM
Just because that's the timestamp doesn't mean that's where he lives, or was residing, it could be changed to literally anything.
1220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This Is How To Kill XT… on: August 23, 2015, 04:35:22 AM
We don't need or want XT, but we need the block size increase. Adopt BIP 101, but not XT.
