1042  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does anyone know where to get a btc loan? on: September 11, 2015, 02:47:31 AM
BTCJam.com does loans I believe, there's also a lending subforum somewhere on here that I've never bothered to look at.
1043  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Comcast rolling out higher charge for home internet users on: September 11, 2015, 02:45:56 AM
Fuck comcast. Seriously. All of their monopolistic bullshit has to be put to an end sometime or the internet can never grow.
1044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wtf is happening in the last days? Funding to da mooon! on: September 11, 2015, 02:38:20 AM
I wonder when we will see the price reflect this kind of data...it's been sitting around the same for a long time now.
1045  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitRich The fastest earning bitcoin app on: September 11, 2015, 02:25:40 AM
What kind of permissions does the app use and why does the app require them?
1046  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the 1MB limit will centralize bitcoin on: September 11, 2015, 02:24:33 AM
This is a possible scenario, but it's something I don't see happening for a long time still.
1047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fiat commodities, we need to make sure no paper Bitcoin is issued on: September 10, 2015, 12:20:35 PM
This is why people need to own the private keys to their bitcoin and not trust any third party with any amount of money for a non-trivial amount of time.
1048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best long term storage. on: September 10, 2015, 12:17:51 PM
The most secure place is the blockchain, but since it is publicly available, how to hide a key in the blockchain is tricky
The only way to do something like that would be to think of a completely unique way to obfuscate and store they key that nobody is going to figure out.

What is a good link to monitor any developing backlog in the mempool and so forth?

https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC

Also try this one Smiley

Edit: Just took a look at tradeblock. Looks nice

There appears to be around 60 Mb at the time of writing, of unconfirmed transactions. I wonder how many are from these shennanigans.
1050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin XT - Officially #REKT (also goes for BIP101 fraud) on: September 10, 2015, 02:59:35 AM
A hard fork would be bad for bitcoin, I would agree to that.
I don't think it will come to that.
I agree with you here, if we see a hard fork, or really any drastic change, I think that the market will almost certainly reflect that negatively.
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: September 10, 2015, 02:58:51 AM
Gambling is not wrong, however if gambling becomes an addiction and hurts you or the people around you, it is wrong.

I think it is completely wrong because after starting slowly most of them will be addicted to this and will loose money in the end. So just avoid it if possible.

True, but if you can manage keeping yourself in check and not play for a profit and only for fun, and only play once in a while, gambling not wrong However, if you know you cannot be controlled, stay away from gambling.
That's the hard part though, a lot of people have trouble once they get started. It's a slippery slope, and it's one that I'd rather people not try to walk on.
1052  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best long term storage. on: September 10, 2015, 02:56:38 AM
Some simple googling tells me that https://bitkee.com/ seems to sell metal cards with engraved information, this seems like a good choice if you're looking for something hard, fire and water proof.
1053  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info banned my IP :) on: September 10, 2015, 02:55:10 AM
You should probably check their API rate limits to make sure you're not going over, then send support a message explaining the situation.
1054  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why are there so many new dice sites popping up? on: September 10, 2015, 02:54:12 AM
People see sites like just-dice that have made a lot of money in profit off of gamblers and they want to cash in on that. It's the gold rush, except the smart people sell the shovels.
1055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gift card on: September 10, 2015, 02:53:22 AM
I just remembered, BCTip has been in service for a very long time and doesn't seem to have any problems. https://www.bctip.org/en/
1056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gift card on: September 10, 2015, 02:50:26 AM
I can't really think of anything that you could use as a card...maybe you could print a nicer looking paper wallet on heavier paper, and cut it to size? You could always make your own, an image editor and QR codes aren't that difficult to master.
1057  Economy / Services / Re: Coinoindex.com - Signature Campaign! [FULL] on: September 10, 2015, 02:48:40 AM
Got my full payment on time again, thanks for another week, I will continue with the program.

Are there any plans to up the max post limit?
1058  Economy / Services / Re: Coinoindex.com - Signature Campaign! [FULL] on: September 06, 2015, 11:24:35 PM
Yeah, just since there seems to be a few people talking about not receiving correct payments, I've never had a problem with mine, 3 in a row without any trouble.
1059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting Bitcoin on Agar.io like a true hero! on: September 06, 2015, 06:34:13 PM
Well even if they don't go and buy $100 worth, its still getting the name out there a bit more.
1060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: September 06, 2015, 05:43:08 PM
Seems you have faced many problems by gambling in your past. Well I dont think to get out from gambling since it never ruin my life, but your decision to stop gambling is a great choice. You have chosen best option in your life Wink Good luck

It was a problem itself inside, you think that it doesnt ruin your life
But in fact it does, but slowly and gradually since you understand that.
If you think that I made a good choice then think also for yourself i think you need too Wink
Thanks, but I said its the best decision for your life, not mine Wink
The only thing that ruining people's life in gambling is the main motivation by them. If they really thinking that gambling is a source of money, well surely it will ruin their life. It can grow your bitcoin, but mostly cant make you be rich.

I like that you keep your opinion real about gambling even if you are promoting a gambling site. Some people change their opinion and start saying how gambling is awesome when they change their signature to some gambling website lol. Personally I think gambling should only be done with 5% of less of a monthly salary. And maybe, sometimes you can risk more if you are feeling lucky but never try to gamble again and again after lossing in a mad frenzy.
I wouldn't even put it at a percentage, just what you are okay with losing. Gambling shouldn't be a source of income.
