So...what should someone like me that's been gone for a year expect to be new or changed? I have a level 3 account if I remember correctly.
1282  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory won't initialize bitcoind (Windows 10, bitcoin core version 0.11.0) on: August 16, 2015, 09:07:52 PM
After not allowing armory to manage bitcoind itself and running it, it appears to be working.
1283  Bitcoin / Armory / Armory not recognizing that bitcoind is still catching up on: August 16, 2015, 08:46:00 PM
It always gets stuck on 70% of "Initializing Bitcoin Engine" when I try to start it. How can I fix this?
1284  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: [ANN] Bither - simple&secure Bitcoin wallet.(Android v1.3.8 released) on: August 16, 2015, 06:09:37 PM
Have you considered asking mods or whoever to move this to the alternative client subforum? I think it belongs there more than here.
1285  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Safe.Cash BETA - GET a FREE wallet PLUS $5 USD to redeem for Bitcoins! on: August 16, 2015, 06:06:19 PM

1287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Whats your favorite game? on: August 16, 2015, 05:10:13 AM
The unique games are the best kind, the new ideas that aren't just dice. Things like the plinko games and minesweeper games when they first came out.
1288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you read this? This is crazy shit. on: August 16, 2015, 02:26:30 AM
You guys are overreacting, big time. This isn't the end of the world. Bitcoin will be fine.

Honestly, Bitcoin will be just fine I agree.

Indeed but bitcoin seems addicted to drama...

Not bitcoin, just the idiot shills on this forum. Not sure why, but they are drawn to controversy like moths to a flame.
1289  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Best BTC wallet? on: August 16, 2015, 02:08:05 AM
Personally my favorite is armory. The security is fantastic and it's jam-packed full of amazing features. I highly recommend it.
1290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brain wallet - "used" and "unused" adress on: August 16, 2015, 02:02:32 AM
People say that an address that has sent coins is less secure because you have exposed your public key. Before then, you have not exposed your public key. If people don't have your public key, it's much harder than it already is to crack your private key. Keep in mind that cracking a private key is already a near impossibility.
1291  Economy / Gambling / Re: [JS] Primedice3 - Bot w/GUI, Verifier, Dark Theme & Hotkeys [Upd: 01/11/2015] on: August 16, 2015, 01:31:12 AM
You should edit the script to store the seeds and info related to provable fairness before rolling, doing that work for the player. If the information isn't recorded before the roll, what's the point of being provably fair?

1293  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Safe.Cash BETA - GET a FREE wallet PLUS $5 USD to redeem for Bitcoins! on: August 16, 2015, 12:04:36 AM
I sent a request from the desktop site, it said it was successful, but nothing shows up under pending outgoing still. Can you tell me if you received a request?

what is your Safe.Cash username?
Nevermind, I figured out what I was doing wrong. I didn't actually select the firstcoins user, just typed the name into the box. It should have worked now I think.
1294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh - you think the blockchain is getting too big? on: August 15, 2015, 11:45:01 PM
It's not so much a storage problem.

It's the matter of downloading it.

Some of us are not so blessed with fast internet speeds.

Internet speeds will follow the same path as disks and pretty much everything in technology...
Tell that to companies like Time Warner Cable, and Comcast. They're not going to give you fast internet until more people take action.
1295  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mining contracts - the new ponzi on: August 15, 2015, 10:53:59 PM
So, it it actually possible to make a profit using a cloud mining service?
Possibly by mining certain altcoins, I would think?
I highly, highly doubt it. Mining at most points is incredibly not-profitable unless you're coming out with state-of-the-art hardware yourself.
1296  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: August 15, 2015, 10:47:49 PM
Never say impossible, everything is possible, improbable maybe, but never impossible.

I think its quite impossible . Unless you ban MAC adresses . There is no way of stopping people making more accounts. And i don't see a reason other than this abusing giveaway but i think its that is not solutiponn.

...how do you plan on finding people's MAC addresses in the first place? Layer 2 addresses change every hop, so unless the person is directly connected to PD's LAN, you can't see it.
well he did not actually tell that he was going to ban people Mac addresses he just said that it is the only way to solve that problem
But it can't be the only way to solve the problem....because it's impossible

Primedice's server is completely blind to MAC addresses. The only MAC address that server ever sees is any on the same LAN as it.
1297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Speaks. Real? Hoax? on: August 15, 2015, 10:44:59 PM
The real satoshi would have signed a message, no questions asked. This has to be a fake.

It said I sent one when I did but nothing shows up under pending outgoing? I'm using the mobile site.

Please try to use this on desktop browser as we have not finished working on the mobile version yet.

Okay, I'll do that when I can. I wasn't aware that there were issues with the mobile site, you should put that in the OP.
