1821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Critique {ODI World Cup 2023 Prediction Pool🏆} & Discussion Thread on: October 18, 2023, 03:03:11 AM
Netherlands went from 140/7 to 245 thanks to Bavuma's bad captaincy. South Africa looks like they won't even reach 200. Crazy!

I always thought why he was the captain, he don't have that captain thing in him. Markram would have been a better choice, imo. SA team is top class tho, but they lack proper lead.

Netherlands win was surprise. Their bowling was already good, they did well with batting too yesterday and that with good bowling we have the result, I'd say there was underestimation from SA to Netherlands as well, which surely added to the opponents win.

1823  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINS.GAME | THE MOST REWARDING CRYPTO CASINO | SPORTSBOOK & CASINO on: October 17, 2023, 10:58:26 AM
@op

I'd suggest coins.game to accept protonmail email addresses and would be nice if they could remove phone number requirement as well especially when user only wants to play with crypto.
We received this recommendation from LM. We will consider this.

Thanks, there was no corresponding response so I wasn't sure.

That's actually good find and not troublesome at all even if it's not exactly as it's name implies. It's good as infinity in scope of it's use case— we change devices, change browser, clear browser data, format or something else far many times before 6 years.

Or

1826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ICC WORLD CUP 2023 ACTUAL DISCUSSION THREAD! on: October 17, 2023, 04:49:27 AM
Team's like SL, Aus don't seem to have passion for the world cup, in yesterday's match so many shots were left to reach the boundaries when they could have been easily been saved. Dunno if they do this because there is no crowd supporting them or what.

This WC we will see different champion than SL, AUS for sure. India is passionate as usual, aside from them I find NZ and SA to be top contenders who have thirst, plus means as well.

1828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arb below 1$ on: October 17, 2023, 04:12:55 AM
i don't know whats up with these L2 project but they seemed to just outright losing value after some listing.
maybe because they have too much airdrop distributed and the market demand couldn't contain it. therefore the dumping.
or maybe the project isn't actually that good?, i don't know.

I don't think arb is bad project, even if I did sell, I would have done so only to increase my holdings by purchasing at lower price later. I am sure arb will rebound to great heights in proper market conditions.

I think it evens out in the end. Even if you register here merely to earn money, without your interest in crypto, you won't fund your stay here pleasurable and sooner or later you will leave, do you reckon any account staying for long time without any interest?
1832  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Email From MetaMask Scam Alert on: October 16, 2023, 03:56:30 AM
I receive similar to this every few weeks, stellar and xrp airdrop ones are quite frequent as well. I don't fall for this anymore but I did couple years back for stellar airdrop one until the website asked me for seed phrase and my brain finally lightened up and realized it was a scam.
1833  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Without power, how many years can a hardware wallet retain data? on: October 16, 2023, 03:43:41 AM
I broke my previous hardware wallet by just not openly it for a year. Hardwallet needs to be open even once a month as per the general care description of the device.

So I figure this could this be a reason my ledger nano S is having screen malfunctioning. I got it years ago, but only started using it recently.

Who else finds this requirements from casinos BS?

It is a BS requirement and i really dont like it. It is widely used however.

Btw, depending on the location and local laws, the practice might also be illegal if you are deaing with a licensed casino. This style of a restriction can be imposed on "bonus" winnings but not necessarily for the initial deposit.

I'm talking about this restricting on initial deposit only, I understand and agree with such restrictions on bonuses.

Previous comments cite AML, I'd argue you can do same thing on cexes, deposit and withdraw instantly, they don't force you to trade.

Now again, if someone argues you are kyc'ed on cexes, I reply only recently most cexes are making kyc mandatory, it wasn't the case before.

Have created similar topic a while back, you can see it here.

Anyway, I have tried to use AI and sometimes sentences come out so perfect I find it off-putting. Better write without using such tools.
1839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs Ethereum VM to reach its full potential — Web3 exec on: October 15, 2023, 03:33:18 AM
I'd agree. There are already several threads here on bitcointalk asking if there is any way we could have real BTC on EVM, unfortunatley so far there is none or are in development. People have no trust in pegged aseets, and it's for right reasons, so things like WBTC are discarded automatically.

If we could get OG BTC to EVM, it'll be best of both worlds.
1840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Gold, land which better? on: October 15, 2023, 03:20:17 AM
Bitcoin because it doesn't have physical existence, requires relatively less physical security and to buy it also you usually need go through legal means. I understand why they recommend gold as it's worthy asset they are grew up with and understand why it has value and this conditioning has been so ingrained that they refuse to see further.

When we grow older, we will probably do same and dismiss other potentially better assets and stick to Bitcoin, members here on bitcointalk already refute other alts.
