1821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is a Bitcoin Millionaire on: May 03, 2019, 09:51:19 AM
Almost half a million of BTC in the circulation belongs from 4 addresses or let's say 4 holders only? That was insane Shocked! For sure they are now sitting on front of their PCs and watching their money to rise while on the other hand I'm hodling few fractions, feel scared of the market's fluctuations and thinking whether I could get profits or not (I know most of you can relate).

Those big investors out there are surely called "whales" because of their strong influence. Also, I think they are the early adopters of btc, there's no doubt about it. I wish i could become a btc millionaire someday (well, dreaming is free lol).
1822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is favourite bounty in 2019?? on: May 03, 2019, 05:22:44 AM
Most of Good Users in here using BITBLENDER Signature.
So true. And the most interesting part here is that most of them are able to ranked up and jump into a higher position on that campaign. That's a clear indication that their participants are really high quality posters and some of them are Filipinos (proud Filipino here Grin).

I don't know if its bounty or not. But i think that project is good.
No it's not. It is a sig campaign, here's the link.
1823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is favourite bounty in 2019?? on: May 03, 2019, 02:34:51 AM
2018-2019 isn't the year for bounty anymore. People should start looking for a better way to spend their times.
With those people that haven't paid with their bounty, still they are trying out their luck.
I've been a victim of a scam bounty that told us to pay in btc but they didn't.
Wait a minute, so you joined a bounty campaign before but it pays you in terms of btc? I thought from the very beginning that bounties give their tokens as a reward for their participants, why is that?

Anyway, I agree to you 100%. So for those bounty hunters out there, here's my advice. Try switching to btc — sig campaign, investing, hodling trading — and you will never regret Smiley.
1824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting site restriction on: May 01, 2019, 06:57:39 AM

5. Should clear cach and cookies  everytime before login
What's the essence of deleting those things? I don't get it, besides why you need to log in multiple times on the same device where in the first place you can click "always log in" or let your browser always remember your account?

8.multipal device
Is this really invalid? What if you accidentally misplaced the device (either laptop or phone) you are using for such gambling site or broke it, so it means that you can't access your account any longer? Nah, I don't think so.
1825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No more time to waste on: May 01, 2019, 03:57:25 AM
That's the wisest choice you'll ever do my friend Smiley. That's what I'm always talking about, actually it is one of the major reasons why until now I haven't join any bounty campaigns, the other one is the fact that there are high chances for those coins to become shitcoin in the future Grin.

Let's admit it or not, bounties are not really worth of our time and effort anymore simply because of such uncertainties thus I can't blame bounty hunters now start backing out. Hmm, I think it is much safer to invest to coin forks rather than this, what do you think?
1826  Economy / Economics / Re: IMF and World Bank explore crypto merits with blockchain project on: April 30, 2019, 04:50:10 PM
It's great that they are starting to study and created a simulation to be able to better understand and educate themselves about blockchain technology.
Yup! There's a saying, "It's better late than never". Although this is only a simulation or a test of familiariing the concept of crypto, it was still good because at least they are now open to the new technologies this world can offer. However, it's very ironic that a centralized institution is now trying the decentralized way Grin but nonetheless everything looks well. I hope theh will be enlightened after such test and later got a more positive perspective to the issue of using crypto unlike before.

If they found that their study really works then there's a tendency that they will release their official coin and let it circulate in the market, who knows? Smiley. (Just my own perspective lol)
1827  Other / Meta / Re: Should this be considered as plagiarism? on: April 30, 2019, 12:29:06 PM
<snip>.
Which forum is that? Is there another forum more prestigious than Bticointalk in terms of bitcoin discussion?
Reddit? Altcoinstalks? Yeah, btctalk quitr more popular among them but they still got a good content and also got huge subscribers Grin.

I'm glad crwth already explained his side and for me his reason is understandable, i just hope all things are settled now.

Maybe we should engage in more of corrections instead of reporting at every given opportunity we see especially when the users have some pass record of decency.
<snip>
And of course more especially to newbies out here who really need some piece of guidance from us Smiley.
1828  Other / Meta / Re: Should this be considered as plagiarism? on: April 30, 2019, 10:26:19 AM
At first look it seems that your post was just copied and pasted but I still see minimal differences. Anyway, I won't give emphasis on such thing because it is a clear proof of plagiarism (IMHO), the big catch here is that how crwth would do this kind of thing? I can't believe it! He is a reputable member of our local board and also applying to become on of the merit source there so I'm pretty sure that he is aware of this basic rule. Hmm, I doubt that real crwth will do such thing, maybe his account was hacked (I have a strong gut feeling for that).
1829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have learnt to cash out on: April 28, 2019, 05:34:24 AM
Based on which one coins we are holding because not all of coins is better and have potential to hold, some time many coins have lower price after holding for long time and keep it become lower price coins.
I agree with this one, it all depends on the coin you are invesing with. If you are holding a new releases token in the market then it's not advisable to make long-term holding because there is no assurance that it will grow further. Most of the ICOs are just made for pump and dump (based on my own experience). But when you are hodling strong coins such as eth, xrp, doge and the remaining within top 10 then I think it is okay to hodl. They are as competitive as bitcoin (somehow), they more stable and trustworthy than the others so there's no need for sudden exits in the market.
1830  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will Hit 6000$ Before april last date ? on: April 28, 2019, 03:40:53 AM
Oops! You are a little bit over assuming Grin. We're now 2 days before April ends and yet we're still very far from $6k. Nevertheless, not bad at all because even though that btc drops to 5.2k, at least the momentum is still there, expect that it will continue to rise. Hmm, I guess May is the time to reach $6k or even further (IMO) so let's keep an eye on the market and see what happens Smiley.
1831  Economy / Speculation / Re: Realistic Predictions for Bitcoin? on: April 28, 2019, 12:51:34 AM
We all know that all speculations doesn't mean anything.
Yeah right! For me, there is no word such "realistic" predictions because there is nothing real in it. All are just assumptions of possible outcomes and it will only become real the moment it happens.
But would love that BTC reaches 8-9k $ until end of the year.
That's not impossible mate where just in the last quarter of April but we are already heading to $6k. There are still plenty of months to deal with so I think it's still even achievable to reach $10k+ only if the good trend continues.
1832  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hits A Golden Cross on: April 27, 2019, 02:58:11 AM
Quote
On the mid-morning of 23 April 2019, the 50-day moving average at $4,489 while the 200-day moving average was at $4,478 as stated in the bullish indicator reading.
Ahh, so this is called the golden cross, now I know. A 50-day equalizing a 200-day moving average? That was so impressive because it means that btc growth is now 4x faster Shocked.

Actually, I haven't take a look in the market these past few days and now it surprised me a lot knowing that btc's price is now stable (at least for now) in the $5.5K mark. That was good for us because not only of the uptrend itself but also because it brings hope for every crypto investors and aspiring ones. I can feel the positivity in the air, I hope this continues, I'm not yet concluding that it is a bull run but I'm now more looking forward into it Smiley.
1833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops still favors on: April 26, 2019, 01:15:25 PM
Am I just lucky or was it because I'm more careful when picking airdrops? Many are complaining about airdrops been shitcoins or worthless but my own story is plain different, even when I blindly joined airdrop in 2018 im still able to make few good money out of airdrops
Hmm, probably you are just meticulous in picking airdrops to join in that's why you are always ending up earning. Besides, for sure you know something about trading that's why you can make profits from either positive or negative fluctuations happening in the market. Anyway, whether you believe it or not, scam airdrops and shitcoins are real. I know that large portion of crypto investors out there experience it (including me as well). Nevertheless, congratulations to you mate for having a nice journey so far. I hope the success you are having right now continues and I also hope you can share your advice to our fellow members here regarding some tips and techniques for them to achieve the same thing Smiley.
Hello guys,

This isn't an airdrop but it's still free tokens Wink Nearly $1,000 in prizes.
<...>
Excuse me, I think this is not the right place for your little advertisement. Much better if you will move it on the right section (Service Announcement I guess). Thanks.
1834  Economy / Reputation / Re: Pilipinas' Reputation over Merit Distribution on: April 26, 2019, 03:42:36 AM
<snip>

That is the least solution that we can have right now. My fellow FMs and SMs are reaching the edge of having sMerits to spend with these new users, so I think it's time for us to make an appeal before we turn out empty handed.
You can count on me bro, you have my support Smiley. If me, a Full member, know the struggle of earning merits then what more for those beginners (newbie to jr. Members) out there who also make quality posts, share the most sensible things they could offer, maintain the obedience inside this forum and yet don't receive merits.

Actually, I oftenly see rants about merit system coming from our fellow Filipinos but I can't do anything aside from giving them advice that they should embrace it and comforting them somehow. Well, if a particular member is an optimistic one then there would be no problem, but how about the weak-hearted ones? Probably they may decide to left here or the worse thing is they might have a bad impression to cryptocurrency in general. I don't want it to happen (nobody wanted too, of course).

Hence, having a merit source would be a very big help. I hope they can see that we're improving now and not like the same way before. I also hope more and more quality posters sprout in our local board in order to prove to the rest of the forum that we really deserve to have a merit source in which sooner or later lead theymos to finally appoint crwth.
1835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let me introduce "Ending Game" on: April 26, 2019, 01:25:47 AM
Ah, the good old days! Ending game is one of the famous games here in our country since most of us are really die hard fans of basketball. But is this kind of game still running? Because nowadays, I haven't seen someone approaching the neighborhood and ask if they want to bet.

Anyway, IMO this game is only suitable for small bettors only thus it will mot perfectly work on a gambling site wherein millions of players are gathered. If we will insist to include this on gambling sites, chances for the gamblers to lose money is way big due to the wide range of combinations unlike to the usual sports betting where you only need to guess who will be the winner.
1836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A team of Indians created Bitcoin on: April 25, 2019, 02:52:53 PM
Now, a team of Indians are speculated to be Satoshi? What an interesting twist. Hmm, I think there still a chance that it might be true (but so tiny I think) because we knew thst Indians are good in math and engineering thus they could also be good in computer programming. Guys, who knows? Believe in India superpower by 2020 Grin (jk).

As I scroll down, I can't help myself but to laugh so hard due to those memes Grin.

Ps: I don't mean to offend at all. I'm just joking.
1837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Galaxy S10, next is Samsung Coin? on: April 25, 2019, 04:06:05 AM
But to be honest, if there are too many private blockchain, it will greatly affect the goals that blockchain set out from, which is an open source, a public blockchain that anyone can participate in and contribute.
Well, we can't do anything regarding that matter. Business is business my friend, you should open your eyes that big companies still choose profits over development. So if a particular company offers private blockchain you have two options: learn to deal with it or refuse at all, the choice is yours.
1838  Economy / Economics / Re: What currency shall human use when colonizing Mars on: April 25, 2019, 12:29:47 AM
Crypto no doubt about that but I can feel that there are still chances that fiat will also be implemented, here's my perspective. Assuming that we now already started a colony in Mars, of course currency is not yet necessary because there's no need for using it since it will only circulate to a small unit of people (nonsense  right?) and besides humanity will surely focus first on establishing basic needs such as food, shelter, etc. But as the colony expands, there should be now a means of tarding then that's the time I think crypto will enter. Why crypto? It is because fiat is made of paper and paper is a very vital resources on that planet, of course they surely  don't want to waste it just for making fiat because there are so many things more important than that. However,if mankind able to make Mars like our own planet, with forests and bodies of water — lots of resources — then they will  now probably consider fiat as an option to avoid congestion in the blockchain which helps them to maintain the fast quality transaction.

Ps: this is only my own opinion.
1839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have experience betting in a spider fight? on: April 24, 2019, 10:42:36 PM
Now, since spider do fights when meet, gamblers take this chance for.betting. Do you have experience on spider fight betting?
I have an experience of watching or even setting spider fights when I was a child because that one became a trend here in our country as well. But honestly, I haven't experienced betting on that kind of games because I always don't have plenty of money on my pocket that time (just exact daily school allowance).

Anyway, I think betting spider fights is very hard to attain because of the following:
1) There is no man who hunt spiders for a living, children most often do that just for fun only. Thus, finding spider matches are very rare.
2) Spiders, like other animals/insects, are seasonal. You can't make a bet even you want to because there's lack of opportunity.
3) Lack of interest coming from the gamblers (of course they are more interested with other sports betting, dice or poker).
4) This game is illegal (IMO) because we know that there's no organization who recognize tbis kind of game.

1840  Other / Meta / Re: Meriting people over 1k merit on: April 24, 2019, 11:38:58 AM
give the lil guys a lil taste for gods sake
You have a good point but it still depends on the situtation. I see no problem on giving merits to those "lil guys" you are pertaining as long as they are good and really a good quality poster but if they are not deserving to receive one then it's fair enough if others won't give them, right? Because if they will then it looks like that they (we) are tolerating them for doing poor deeds (you realized now?). Remember, privilege of receiving merit do not depends on whether you are a Newbie or a Staff, it depends on the contribution you made here.
