He is very well past his prime. To be honest, his prime days are not coming back. Does not matter if he puts on weight to fight in another weight class. He is not going to be as good as he was before. If he actually gets any good opponent it is going to be because of his mouth.
I feel like he has changed a lot after the Floyd Mayweather fight. Money has changed him a lot. He was never the same after he got the 100 million from Floyd Mayweather's fight. It is absolutely true that he is just trying to stay active on social media so that he is still relevant to people. After all his fighting is not relevant anymore to people.
His career ended after a fight against Khabib. His last best fight was against Alvarez, when in a first round he has knocked down Eddie several times, but that 4 punch combo in second round, that TKOed Eddie was last best performance of Conor. When he got those two belts, he went crazy and fame+money combo destroyed him. He was no longer hungry. He has no motivation to win anymore. No matter if he wins or lose next fight, he will get millions anyway. He might even step inside octagon and surrender on first second of first round and still be rich and famous.

People already know that he is going to get a huge amount of money from the UFC just because of stepping in the octagon. He doesn't even have to win. If he just gets in and throws some punches he is going to generate good revenue.

Probably not as good as he could before. But certainly good enough. It is absolutely true that he is not hungry anymore. He has got what he had always wanted which is money. Now he is just talking too much on the internet to keep people reminded that he was once one of the best fighters in the UFC.

Conor McGregor saying yesterday that he will get the all time UFC knockouts record seems a little ambitious for a guy coming off an injury who hasn’t knocked anybody out in a while… Not to mention he isn’t getting any younger so he must be planning a massive comeback with a lot of fights if he thinks this is possible for him to obtain.
I think he is not gonna get into a fight again versus a champion because clearly, he cannot handle it anymore because of his injury. he cannot be the same guy again after that. now all he I doing is keeping his mouth open because if he is not active on social media, people will forget him, and a new champion will emerge and take his place. He just missed getting in the cage again and competing with the champions because this guy gets his popularity in UFC and to get back there again is to refresh his fame and merits.

He is very well past his prime. To be honest, his prime days are not coming back. Does not matter if he puts on weight to fight in another weight class. He is not going to be as good as he was before. If he actually gets any good opponent it is going to be because of his mouth.

1823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The World's First Kids Cartoon about Bitcoin on: May 18, 2023, 09:17:17 AM
Bitcoin cartoon? Very interesting to watch, I will watch it when I have free time. My question is, is there any guarantee or proof that bitcoin education for kids will be beneficial? I mean, recently there was a topic about 3rd graders being educated about bitcoin. For this age, when reading and writing skills are still difficult, is teaching about bitcoin and investing effectively? And is that knowledge appropriate at that age?

I'm not against bitcoin education for kids because I want my kids to invest in bitcoin like I am when they grow up. But we need to have an education that is appropriate for each age, not the sooner we teach, the sooner we will succeed, especially for children who are at the age of eating, sleeping, and playing.
1824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some people started their BTC journey when things were more hopeless on: May 18, 2023, 09:01:28 AM
You beginners have no excuses, it is safer to be in Bitcoin now than to be out of Bitcoin, just, Believe, you will lament to have 0.1BTC very soon, now is the time to believe in Bitcoin and HoDL.
0.1 BTC is very large amount for some people, I also heard in many podcasts people nowadays are very bad in manage their money, many people don't even save a dollar, how about Bitcoin investment? it's near impossible.

Many young generations are prefer to buy a branded stuff and have a luxury lifestyle to make them looks rich.

They need to learn how to save first, then they would think to invest their money. This make people not interested with Bitcoin because financial and investment education wasn't teached in school.
I don't know where you are from, but I dare you to come to my country, you will know that the younger generation in your country are the ones that decide to live a useless life. In my country, all the youths are hustling to become some great in life, for themselves and their families, look rich? Lol I have many friends and none of them are doing such stupid stuffs, some of them don't believe in Bitcoin and crypto but they don't joke around with their lives, they are damn serious about bringing a change to their lives.
The reason for such a difference is that each country's education system is not the same. In my country, young people are fully educated, they are always working hard, trying every day to become more useful in life. On the contrary, those who do not have adequate education become a burden on their families and society.

For how long can someone pretend to be rich? If you are born in a getto no one will teach you to save the heck up and try growing from there, it seems there at many spoilt brats in your country then, someone brings food to their tables maybe, if they see the ugly side of poverty they will sit the hell right.

I don't agree with your statement, children born into poor families save better because they know their family background. Even if they wanted to spend lavishly, there would be nothing to spend. Sometimes you don't need your family to teach you, society will teach you those things.
1825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing doesn't guarantee you to be rich on: May 18, 2023, 08:42:11 AM
You need to gain a lot of knowledge, that's what will determine your success with investment, you can easily mismanage your money in investment that could result in losing your money, risks available is why investments isn't guaranteed to make anyone rich, and you need time to learn and do research.

If you invest right you will get good results back, no knowledge is too small so don't always feel like you've learn enough, if I have to advise someone new in this space I will tell them to stay away from trading and altcoins investment first, if they are in haste to make money they should invest on Bitcoin and keep learning for the time being.

The fastest way to lose money in crypto is investing in altcoins, because altcoins consists of too many shitcoins, and take hype too.
I think knowledge is not enough, investment, like other professions, must have all the elements to succeed. Knowledge is a prerequisite to have, but skills and experience are also indispensable factors to help you succeed. And that is the difference between a newbie and a pro, a newbie still has knowledge if he prepares well but still loses because of lack of skills and experience.

Agreed, newbies should not invest in altcoins because the risk is quite large. But that doesn't mean altcoins are useless, if one is confident that he or she has enough knowledge and risk tolerance, investing in altcoins will yield much better returns than bitcoin.

He must have been looking at how Ngannou took the stage already while him Connor's career is fading daylight. But he wants to remind fans that once upon a time he was the best in MMA. Ngannou taking big offers from other promotions besides UFC is also making him bigger, it could be that the world will know him more than Connor.

Well the way he is approaching things now if he continues in this way the world is not going to remember him for his achievement in the UFC. Already I hear people say that Conor McGregor is just a Twitter warrior now. His impression is certainly not positive anymore. I would say that his image was starting to fall when he lost against Khabib. From that, he has not been a very good fighter, to be honest. I think we all know that from now on any fight that Corner McGregor is going to get, it is actually going to be because of his mouth and Dana White's love for him..
1827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 17, 2023, 07:18:20 PM
It turns out that Inter this season has been quite impressive too or at least not bad at all, because Inter still have a final match in the Coppa Italia and Inter will play against Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia final. I think, with Inter's performance and quality at this moment, at least Inter has a very good chance of being able to defend its Coppa Italia title this season as well.

Managed to finish in the top four in Serie A standings, a big chance to win the Coppa Italia title and also, Inter will play in the Champions League final. Wow, that's a great achievement I think for Inter this season, because even though Inter are still busy with a busy schedule. Also, Inter will still play against Napoli in the next match in Serie A but, Inter can still play with consistent gameplay so far, and surely it is a very good and impressive performance.

Inter performs really well. If we just look at the last 5 matches we will understand that they have certainly done very well and have been very consistent. They certainly deserve to finish in the top 4 in my opinion. And also playing in the Champions League final is a big achievement in itself. Their performance from them has been really unbelievable this season.

Personally, I would say that they have achieved more than what I certainly expected from them. I surely did not expect them to finish in the Champions League final. Well, actually there have not finished their Champions League journey yet. Let's see if we have any surprises to see in the Champions League and if Inter can actually win the trophy.

I think he is just talking to talk and trying to get the attention towards him. He is not going to have that kind of success when he does come back. He is obviously one of the best fighters in the UFC. There is no doubt about that. He has certainly become the old hat of the UFC. He is just trying to get attention so that probably he can divert that attention towards his whisky company and increase the sells.  Other than that if he is actually thinking that he will be able to do what he is saying I think he is just being delusional.

1829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IS an asset. Do you think it's bad? on: May 17, 2023, 12:47:18 PM
Just an asset? what about a currency as its stand by the name?  though many of us threat this as asset yet some are still use this as Currency so why ?
cannot we consider this as Asset at the same thing as currency?

Unfortunately, because of bitcoins' unstable price, it won't be accepted as a currency by the majority of people. Yu can say it about gold, but only because it's price doesn't go down or up 10% every week.

Admittedly, bitcoin's volatility is one barrier that keeps people from accepting it as a currency, but it's not the only cause. I think the main reason is because the government, they are the biggest barrier, they will never recognize any assets that are not under their control as currency. As long as they realize that, no matter how volatile bitcoin is, people will still use it as a currency.

But you also have to agree with me, it may not be the world currency, but it is the best investment due to its volatility. Tell me, what do you enter this market for? You love technology, do you want to spread bitcoin as a currency or for money and profit?
1830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: May 15, 2023, 08:55:28 PM
Sevilla's performance in the Round of 16 and Group Stage was not very good. However, the Sevilla team performed well in the second leg against Manchester United and in the first leg against Juventus. And now in La Liga, this team has been able to continue to perform well. And I think Sevilla will be able to perform better in the home match against Juventus. The Juventus team is very strong. But their performance is not regular. Juventus' performance against Sevilla in the home match was very poor. They attacked very little. If Juventus play the same strategy in the second leg, they will not win.
I see Sevilla's chances are much bigger than Juventus, playing 1-1 at Juventus opens up opportunities for Sevilla because they will face Juventus in the second leg at home. We saw this exactly when they faced Manchester United at Old Trafford and Sevilla crushed Manchester United's big dream at home. I won't jump to conclusions too quickly who will qualify for the final, but I want to see how Allegri and Mendilibar's strategy is first.
Playing at home is a very profitable thing, where Sevilla's motivation will be even greater, especially talking about Sevilla's Mentality in the Europa League and I have never doubted them so far. For Juventus it will be a difficult match and I'm sure they will find it difficult against Sevilla, because speaking of quality for me the two are not much different.

I think it is actually going to be 50-50. I don't think it is clear who the winner is going to be. The first leg was very interesting.  Juventus had possession of 60%. They could not form coordinated attacks in my opinion. Sevilla took advantage of that. Outside that Juventus did not deserve to lose that match. It was actually good to see Juventus getting a draw that they actually deserved in my opinion.

I just do not see a clear winner in this match. I believe it is going to be evenly matched and very competitive between both of them.
1831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: May 15, 2023, 08:24:06 PM
Lyon, on the other hand, lost 2-1 against Clermont, which has made an excellent start in recent weeks. We have seen an incredible performance from Clermont and Lens this year.We have seen teams trying to push the limits against PSG, which has really dominated the French league in recent years. Unfortunately, these teams do not have transfer budgets as much as PSG.Despite this, PSG cannot open the point difference enough and we can say that they are forced to be champions. We could expect PSG to dominate the league again because they have a team made up of a mix of stars, but they have 6 points difference to their closest rival with 3 weeks left.

Clermont Foot is actually performing really well in recent times. I actually would have given them a chance of finishing in the top 6 if the point difference was not so big. The consistency from them is actually better than most of the teams that are ahead of them. I actually would have given them a chance to finish in the top 6 if there were some more matches left. Sadly it is very unrealistic to think that it will happen.

PSG is the team which has the biggest budget in this league and that is a big reason why they are capable of stacking the squad with great players from all around the world. The other teams are not capable of doing that.

This is indeed quite possible for Lens, because from what they have shown and got this season, Lens is a very extraordinary team because they are able to be in second place in the Ligue1 standings with a point difference that is not so far from PSG. This proves that Lens is a team to pay attention to in Ligue1 every season including next season too, because Lens can really present a slightly more interesting competition in Ligue1 this season.
Yes indeed, I personally prefer Lens to win the Ligue 1 title this season, because Lens has managed to maintain its consistency very well. Because so far, Lens is the only team that has only gotten one defeat for the home match. At least that is a very extraordinary achievement that the Lens team was able to get, because basically Lens is not a big team with high finances.
So yes, I also hope Lens is able to keep up this form for next season. Because, if Lens can maintain this kind of performance from the start of the season, then it is very possible that Lens can win the Ligue 1 title next season. But yes, because Lens is not a wealthy team, it will be difficult for Lens to retain their key players in the transfer market later. Because of course, players who have high potential will be in demand by many rich clubs out there and that will make it difficult for Lens to maintain its performance.

All the clubs that are not very rich have to face the same problem. It is like if you do not want to sell the players you would not have a very good amount of money in the bank. And if you sell the players you will only find out that you are not getting a good replacement for him which is the thing that happens most of the time. And sometimes when big clubs are offering huge amounts of money for a player, often times the player also wants to leave to play for a better club.

Juventus team managed to win home against smcremonese which was expected against an opponent from the relegation zone who is already relegated, am not a big fan of juventus team performance this season but it is impressive that they are on the second spot and made it to the semi finals of the europa league and still competing for the trophy, i think considering their many issues we can say this was a successfull season.
They only won 2-0 against Cremonese, but on the other hand, they had a statistically rich match. Even though Juventus can't get the first place in the league, it looks like they won't give the second place to anyone. Although the difference of 3 points between them and Inter threatens the second place, in my opinion Juve will finish the league in second place.

Juventus is certainly not going to lose the second position. Not after having this 3 points lead. I would be really happy if they do not take any illegal actions against Juventus. They had already lost 15 points this season. But they still got themselves up to the second position of the table. And that performance was really one of a kind. This win was their third in a row.

Actually, it is going to be interesting to see how Juventus is going to perform in the Champions League next season. But this season Juventus has to be a little careful because the goal difference is not better than Inter. So Juventus will have to stay in the lead compared to Inter.
1833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: May 15, 2023, 07:11:42 PM
Exactly as I predicted before and Sevilla really didn't let any chance for Real Valladolid to score, their defense was quite consistent until the end and even though Real Valladolid got 6 shots on target but Marko Dmitrovic did very well in goal. This will be a big motivation for Sevilla to have the second leg in the Europa League and another advantage is that they are playing at home so the opportunities are getting bigger.
The match between Espanyol and Barcelona also ended in a big win, where Barcelona managed to beat Espanyol with a score of 2-4. Lewandowski appeared very impressive in this match and he managed to score two goals for Barcelona's victory, this victory also looked so perfect because Barcelona came out as La Liga champions this season.
Sevilla are slowly finding their way back and have been pretty consistent so far. I ignore their few defeats in the last few matches, but this team is much stronger compared to the start of the season. The great thing about Sevilla is that they have been stronger since beating Manchester United in the Europa League quarter-final second leg. Sevilla are more motivated and they have good confidence to qualify for the final.
About the success of Barcelona, I honestly can't hide my joy. I've been very optimistic about Barcelona since the start of the season even though some people seem to insult them for no apparent reason. The best proof is the two titles that Barcelona managed to secure this season and they managed to beat their arch-rivals with a high difference in points.

Sevilla does have a chance to finish in the top 7. It is going to be very interesting if they can actually achieve that. Considering the fact that they had started the season really badly and people started thinking they are actually going to get relegated this season I think they have done very well. I say they have a chance to finish in the top 7 mainly because the point difference is almost non-existent and the teams which are above them are also not very consistent currently.

Barcelona has achieved great results in La Liga this season. They have a state at the top of the table from the start. They have actually deserved to win the La Liga title. But there are also some things Barcelona will need to work on.
1834  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear Market Reaches $27605 - Will the Downtrend Continue?" on: May 15, 2023, 12:54:19 PM
Why are you panicking with these small drops? Aren’t you aware what are Bitcoins capable of? Bitcoins have risen from nothing to a valuable asset. If you still question on Bitcoin’s capabilities, then you don’t have the rights to be a Bitcoin investor. I mean took this downtrend as an opportunity, and try to buy as many coins as you can now. Hold the coins, till the demand among the members to buy Bitcoins increases, and hence sell the coins and make profits. Easy as that.

Not everyone in the market has as much knowledge as you, so there is no need to be too strict with them. Sometimes they're newbies who haven't been through the bear season yet, so it's normal for them to panic.
But as you said, relax and have fun every time the market drops because that's our chance, not something bad is happening. That is the difference between a successful investor and a failed investor. I mean, the people who make the most profits mostly keep quiet and focus on buying every time the price drops rather than panicking and whining all over the place.
Even if it is understandable that newbies were panicking over the downward movement we were experimenting and the high fees we had to pay, at the same time they need to sit down and look at how this market has moved on the past to understand it is not a big deal.

I am sure that if we really took the time to look for downward movements like this one we will find several examples like this every year, so they either get used to the way bitcoin moves or they will keep losing their money once the price of bitcoin drops for some reason.

If newcomers sat back and took the time to study the market, looking for past movements, we would never have seen questions that always annoy us like this. But I also agree we should not be too harsh on them because we were like them, panicking like they are now when we see bitcoin correcting. It also doesn't cost us anything to explain or give them advice, so if someone can't give advice, don't be too harsh on them. We should cheer up because this proves there are always newbies entering the market every day, and they are interested in bitcoin and should ask such questions.

Liverpool are still after the 24-year-old Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister now. They hope to finish the deal for £70m according to the source below. This would be one of the most sensible deals for Liverpool that's for sure. Because they really need to strengthen the midfield more to build a solid bridge between their defense and offense lines.
Mac Allister has been able to impress people a lot with a high level of effort. His being a World Cup winner has also added extra value in him too. He is just the player Liverpool would make a great use of in the midfield. These days Liverpool seem to be the only team interested in him but let's see.
Source: https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/liverpool-ready-sign-alexis-mac-29971876?_ga=2.193810280.412806156.1684011257-1191045342.1655647275
I wouldn't be surprised if Alexis Mac Allister would be in demand by many big clubs, including Liverpool. not only that, rumors of Mac Allister are also in the interest of Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea. some of the news I've read and one of them from Teamtalk reports, Chelsea are reportedly set to anger Liverpool with a cash-plus-players deal, which risks convincing De Zerbi. a cash plus player deal could see a player De Zerbi admires have been launched, and if successful, it could be Chelsea bringing Mac Allister to Stamford Bridge instead of Liverpool bringing Mac Allister to Anfield.
The argentinian outlet claims offers totaling at least £70m are needed before Brighton accept them. TyC Sport claims Liverpool are in the best position to sign the midfielder, there have even been reports of an oral agreement on personal terms already in place. however, according to a new report from the Daily Express, it could be Chelsea who emerge victorious for Mac Allister. to beat Liverpool, Express said the action plan that Chelsea can do. based on the rumours, centre-back Levi Colwill could hold the key to unlocking Mac Allister's transfer. well, we'll see which club Mac Allister goes to later. because as Fabrizio Romano said, it is very likely that Mac Allister will leave AMEX this summer.

Mac Allister can certainly be a very good player for the midfield of Liverpool right now. Liverpool is certainly very interested in him still. I also believe that they are very serious about him. And as you said, being the world cup winner certainly has its parks. That has certainly increased the value of him a lot.

I am a little doubtful about the 70 million pounds. I think they will need a little more than that if they want to finalize the deal. I don't think Liverpool should be a miser about this. They should spend and look forward to starting the next season as well as they can.
1836  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of bitcoin is not rising soon!. on: May 14, 2023, 04:16:51 PM
But it would be wiser with DCA instead of waiting, bitcoin is still unpredictable, and there is no guarantee that history will repeat itself.
If you said no guarantee the history repeat itself, what's the point of DCA-ing in the first place as you expect Bitcoin will not create new ATH on the upcoming bull run season.

Why don't you read everything I wrote? I'm comparing 2019 and 2023 history to find the right time to buy bitcoin, I didn't mention that ATH won't happen. But even if the 4-year history does not repeat, there will be no ATH after the halving, are you worried? As for me, I wouldn't be surprised. When things get too predictable, everyone expects ATH after the halving, and if that happens, everyone will get rich easily. So who will buy bitcoin for $100k for us to take profit? Sooner or later, the market will change the rules of the game.
1837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 14, 2023, 04:11:31 PM
Just a few hours and we will witness the Eastern Conference Semifinals - Game 7 between the Boston Celtics vs the Philadelphia 76ers! Which team do you think will step up their game?
Breaking News: Ja Morant is now trending on Twitter again because he was seen flexing a gun on his Instragram Live.
Ja Morant is trying to be a rapper rather than a NBA player. Shannon Sharpe was right in his claim that Ja was "hustling backwards."
Oh crap, not again. Let's wait for the confirmation if it's a real gun or not.

But assuming it is. The question of "Why?" will come out.
Why does he always bring a gun? Is America not that safe anymore? Are they back to being the Wild Wild West? Is he on drugs or did some screws come out? A lot of money is at stake in his name and he will be wasting it if ever the NBA decides to cut him from being a player due to this problem.
I want to hear what Jalen Rose will say about this. His last statement for Ja Morant and his father was an eye-opener not just for them but for all the players who are in the same state as him. But this is strike two and he should've learned his lesson from strike one. Also, his strike one is not like a flagrant foul in NBA but more of painting black on his image that is being idolized by kids.

We will see where this will go.
Well seems like Ja didn't learn from his suspension. Maybe he enjoyed the time off from basketball.

Wouldn't surprise if this time it will be a real suspension.
What are these people thinking anyway. Pretending to be a gangster even though he grew up in a normal family at a normal school and everything. Why does he want to be something he is not. He has everything anybody can wish for but still causes problems like this.

The Grizzlies will be the villain for years to come I guess.  Grin

@danherbias07, America is actually not safe for people. Anyone can own a gun. That gives anyone a chance to shoot someone that they don't like and say it was for self-defense. But that is for the average job living in America. As a basketball player, Ja Morant is already a part of the top one percent. So him having security or bodyguards already makes his life a lot safer. He probably needed some "extra extra" security I guess  Grin

@AHOYBRAUSE, I don't understand why these people want to portray themselves as gangsters. I am quite sure that they have not even met any real gangsters. Probably it's a status thing among the black community.

Arsenal have decided to extend with Bukayo Saka for 4 more years (until 2028) and he is okay for this deal also. This is absolutely one of the best actions Arsenal could have taken honestly. Saka is one of the most valuable players in the team now. He is only 21 years old maybe but the things he has done so far are amazing anyway. This season is also going great for him with 14 goals and 11 assists in total. Saka was speculated to be a candidate for Manchester City in next transfer window but now he wouldn't be anymore.

Look at the grow rate in Saka's market value in the recent 3 years:

I wouldn't be very optimistic about Arsenal renewing his contract - maybe they do it to sell him for a higher price in a year or two? Arsenal have been committed to this scheme for many years and they were only interested in profits and not titles, so it's too early to assume that anything has changed. Although I would be happy with such changes (and if they happened in Dortmund too).

Personally, I think it will be a better business for Arsenal to keep him right now and send him probably after 1.5 or 2 years for better money. He is only 21 years old. He is only going to get better from now on. So he will also be more valuable later. Who knows, probably he will also be approached by big clubs in future who would be willing to give a lot of money for him!

I understand that Arsenal might think they do not need him right now. But I believe it will be better for business if they keep him right now. Unless of course, the player wants out of the club. But as I said it is also understandable if Arsenal does not want to keep him.

I would agree with others that Denver is the favorite right now. Their team is pretty healthy and they’re playing great. Los Angeles is going to have to step it up to beat them. I think Los Angeles has a chance to beat them, but I think it will be obvious after game 1 on Tuesday if they’ll be able to pull it off or not.
A day of rest today… Get those chores done.
Yes mate Denver nuggets will be the favorite and as we all know that Denver nuggets played very good they are one of the best team this season and as I observe Lakers will be struggling in this unless they make and adjustment and for sure nuggets will take for care in game 1 and then LA Lakers will make an adjustment like what they do in Warriors. But for this series I'll pick Denver to be a champion.

The Denver Nuggets have successfully taken things away from Phoenix. This was kind of expected for almost everyone. They are performing really well right now. I also see the Lakers not being able to actually perform very well against the Nuggets. Jokic and Murray are going to be causing a lot of problems for the Lakers.

But I think the latest will have to be very careful about the Nuggets as a team because almost all of the players in the Nuggets are actually in good form.

First of all, Bitcoin is not a currency to be precise. Moreover people use Bitcoins as an asset and use it to make profits. You can take Bitcoins as gold, like in earlier days people used to trade things, like they give their golds, to get rations etc, similar thing happening with Bitcoins also. But this doesn’t make Bitcoins as currency. Moreover there are fixed amount of Bitcoins already broadcasted in the network, so this mean if people’s demand increases to acquire more Bitcoins, then the price will keep on increasing. So Bitcoins never settle at any fixed price.

But they used gold because its price was stable. Yes, it was growing over time, but it wasn't dropping like 5% in one day. So I don't think bitcoin is like a modern gold, the fluctuations are too severe.

And I don't think that Satoshi thought of bitcoin as a new asset to invest in. The idea is that you can't print bitcoin so it won't lose its value completely, but it doesn't save it from fluctuations.
Comparing the use of gold to bitcoin is incorrect because by the time people used gold as a method of exchange, fiat had not been created, and that is why gold did not become volatile. And you are also correct that Satoshi created bitcoin to be a currency, a P2P payment method, he did not intend to make bitcoin a speculative and volatile investment like we are seeing. But until now, for bitcoin to become stable and used as a currency has been almost impossible, as people are in demand for bitcoin as an investment rather than a currency.

Today, it doesn't matter what Bitcoin is called, the important thing is that it has been and is bringing many benefits to us, it was a great success. Moreover, you can also use it as a currency if you want, also a lot of people are using it as a currency despite its volatility.
