Yeah option to turn them off would be useful . There are no pm notifications in vip chatroom thou, so if u are there u won't see pm's . But yeah for now, if its not to much of a hassle , best thing to do is send ss of that activity to some of mods and it will be sorted out. |

Newbies couldnt chat.  I am no troll. Just gamble 0.001 btc with deposit or faucet (takes a much longer time) and you can use the chat.  what he mean is the visitors that want to ask questions. He will wonder why he/she can't chat You get a pop up telling you you need to wager 0.001 btc in order to be able to chat. I guess if the newbie doesnt want to deposit and cant find the faucet it could be a small barrier. Yeah, im actually not a fan of that requirement . But it did stop spam bots rly well. Most of them won't bother to deposit so they give up. But i guess it could be frustrating for rly new people to dice, so they can't ask questions about how to play/deposit and so on on chat. That's why i don't rly like it. It would be maybe good idea that mods can turn that on and off , so when we are on chat we turn that off and everybody can chat, and when we leave chat we turn it on so chat is somewhat protected. |

People complain about everything, and the only thing they will reach that there will be no more giveaways no more free coins... There was no possibility for mistake . I sorted out comments by recent activity and copied 300 from the bottom, that is first 300 posters. If u ware in there and did not credited, possibility is that u edited ur post so it went near the top . Or that u misspelled ur username. There was 4 useranames that couldn't be found when my script was tipping. Now i added more code to it so it shows me which usernames didn't exist so i know if its typo. That 4 tips went to rainbot. edit: Oh btw some people posted theirs username double , idk if that was by accident or intentionally trying to get double , this time i credited them once, but from the next time they will be disqualified. And there was no promise to pay 300 people it was only said that giveaway will close in 48h and not how many people will be credited. But yeah 300 people got credited. |

Why not just do it fix rate based on activity? and 30 post minimum per month...
Why 30? 30 seems to little really. I think even a minimum of 50 would be too small for a campaign like Primedice, especially if they're wanting a max exposure. I'd recommend maybe even doing a minimum of 100 posts at a fixed rate. Guys we don't know yet if that campaign will even run and we for sure don't know how it will run . There is no point in arguing about it till we hear Stunna's final decision about it. |

Yes its community funded, i think 50k min is pretty reasonable. That rule is not individual so it would be hard to change the min tip for only 1 user. |

Ok, but the majority of your video is still other people's work, the only bit you really did was the screen recording lol. Make your own content xD Else it's not playing fair for the guys who are spending hours working on editing videos (ahem me...). And Yeardley Diamond is dead. Died of cardiac arrest about 2 months ago. EDIT: This is what I have so far after about 2-3 hours of work and learning. And that is why this video and sini's one , are by far my favorites here. . I hope we will see much better videos thou . Yeah, its rly hard to reward people for being on site , for chating and all that, and not make some other people abuse it. There is no perfect system sadly .
The trick is to reward the behaviours that you actually want. You think you want people chatting, because that makes the site look busy and attracts players, but what you really want is for people to bet. If you reward people for chatting, they'll find a way of automating it, so you achieve your intermediate goal: "get people chatting", but not the real goal: "get people betting". You need the incentive to target "get people betting". So you base your level system on the amount they wagered, not the amount they chatted, and "pay" them when they reach various goals. Maybe they get a PD mug, T-shirt, read access to the VIP room, write access to the VIP room, etc. as they climb the levels. Maybe they get a slightly lower house edge depending on their level, whatever. You just need to make sure that you're rewarding the right behaviour. Also, be precise in what you're targetting. You could have the goal of "get people betting" and so reward people based on the number of bets they make. But they you get an army of bots all betting 0 BTC over and over, and so a more precise goal would be "increase betting volume". Hehe... How do u find time to post , posts like this . Just amazing . Btw , i did made pd teacups but will just give them away to people here locally, coz i don't rly want to ask people for theirs home addresses just go give them a teacup . |

Chat will no longer provide experience, any prior messages will be rolled back as well in terms of experience.
Spammers have flooded the website attempting to game the level system and this in effect has been effecting sockets/rest of the chats (VIP/Main) not just PVP.
This is a great example of how incentives work. If you pay people according to how much they chat, they will chat more. Not better, just more. It's tricky to work out what incentives to offer, but you can be sure that people will work out what works best for them and act accordingly. See also: the faucet. Edit: also, see how people post content-free one-liners on the forum just to get their post count up so they can earn more from signature campaigns... that's another example of an incentive having undesirable consequences. Faucet is not slashed. Just all faucet earned with chating is no longer counted towards faucet amount. Its done that way so it doesn't encourage chating (spaming) anymore. |
