1841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your wallet from hackers on: July 04, 2018, 05:55:35 AM
Yes, that is actually a nice idea to protect your wallet from getting hacked. I think another is to just stay away from phishing site as much as possible because that is the only way for a hacker to get into your wallet. The mistake of the people most of the time is that they are ignorant of what is really the thing that they should do and what to avoid. People are easily fooled because they lack the knowledge about protecting themselves from harm. I recommend that people should have multiple wallet and follow your tips in case something bad happen.
1842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the good way to earn with Altcoins? on: July 03, 2018, 12:08:30 PM
But base on your statement, it seems that you got your answers yourself. What they've told you so far is a good way for you to get some earnings when it comes to altcoins, well except for airdrops. Most of the time, airdrops are just scams and is just another way to steal a person's information, but there are some who are legit, you just have to find it. I would recommend that you do bounty hunting as the stakes there are very rewarding. Most bounties pays well as long as you follow the rules. But you should research first before you join and that the you one are going to join to is managed by older members here.
1843  Economy / Economics / Re: Tax on the crypto currency! What do you think? on: July 03, 2018, 11:23:42 AM
A tax would mean everything in the cryptocurrency. If one of the tax that you have mentioned in there where to be implement in the cryptocurrency space, it would mean that the government is recognizing the usage of it and that they are telling the people that it's safe to use. I think Taxes on goods and services would be a better choice for the masses because as of now, we know that there are a lot of ICOs out there that gives so many kinds of services to the public. Taxes on this would mean that this things are getting serious.
1844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do whales really control the market, or is that a myth on: July 02, 2018, 12:38:03 PM
We all know that investors who have large sums of capital is called a "whales". If someone have that much money, I think it's only logical that they would try to manipulate something for their own benefit. They are the reason why if not all, most of the markets of cryptocurrency are having pump and dumps. They can spread as much FOMO as they want to other people which affects the price where the same goes for FUD. They create fear and hope which manipulate the people and market in the process.
1845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto going strong! on: July 02, 2018, 12:29:59 PM
Yes, I agree with you that cryptocurrency is going strong during this times. Even though we are currently experiencing a bearish market this time around, my faith in cryptocurrency will never fade away. Even though I lost at least 90% of my portfolio, I know that it will be back and far more greater than the last run. About the situation of the market, I don't think we will see another Bull run Next month till September. Maybe a simple pump would occur and correct itself again, but I'm hoping and can see that a bull run would happen this late October.
1846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High Fees Gas ETH on: July 02, 2018, 12:03:17 PM
Having this kind of fees doesn't really have that much impact, in fact, it could mean that more and more people are currently joining the cryptocurrency space specifically Ethereum. 82 Gwei isn't even that high compared to Bitcoin. Paying that fee is fast and reliable. It doesn't really hurt that much in my opinion. Expect it to be a lot more cheaper when Ethereum implements POS in the future. Never worry though, I think some things are being updated in the network or that more people are using it.
1847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in an ICO? on: July 01, 2018, 01:08:11 PM
Investing into an ICOs is one of the many things you can do to make a lot of money. Even if it's not the best investment strategy, it's one of the most profitable investment that you could do if that project you invested to succeed. Base on an article that I've read, 1 out of 10 ICO are surely a scam and rest are either going to succeed or going to fail. I'm not going to recommend an ICO that you could invest to to avoid confusion, but I'm going tell you the means before you invest. One of the best thing that you could do is to read their entire whitepaper, never miss a single thing. The last one is to know the background of every people behind the project.
1848  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's suppose that Bitcoin became universal (used everywhere you go) on: July 01, 2018, 12:52:03 PM
That would actually be plausible though. Having Bitcoin in our daily lives would make it easier as using Bitcoin is a less hustle rather than using those fiat moneys that are easily manipulated. Imagine using a credit card that is made specifically for Bitcoin, that would be great. Regarding the taxes. We simply really cannot avoid the tax that the government will implement because there are a lot of ways for them to know more about you and that things that you are going to purchase when Bitcoin become a normal everyday thing and not as an investment.
1849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do when the market is weakening now on: July 01, 2018, 11:54:46 AM
As you can see, there's no FOMO happening right now and the market is currently in a stable manner which is why the market right now is either ups or downs. There are actually a lot that you could do make things at least a little bit better for you. You either sell your tokens to the market and prevent some losses if it dips even lower or you hold it if you thing that it will get up to its feet. It depends on your strategy if you are a long term holder or a day trader. Just analyze the past market history and make your own decision base on it. I'm sure it will help you.
1850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: YouTuber's using marketing schemes toward bitcoin on: July 01, 2018, 11:32:18 AM
Yes, there are a lot of these Youtubers who just shills in their own channels which is in fact are just a market strategy for them get newbie's money. Your point is right and very funny at the same time. Most of the youtubers flex their income and spread fake news to make investors jump into a train that will eventually crash in a moment. It's really not that harming but this kind of thing is bad for the cryptocurrency community. It was nice that a guy like you made a light for this kind of things. Keep up the good work man. You earned a sub.
1851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange it or Hold it on: June 30, 2018, 06:37:11 AM
This kind of things actually depends on your strategy. Most of the time, coins from airdrops doesn't really have that much value once it is distributed to the public. Some of them would take months, and some would just die in the process of distribution or advertising. I personally stopped participating into airdrops that doesn't catch my attention as I think it's just a waste of time and effort. If a coin from an airdrop got into an exchange, I just sell it as fast as I could if that project doesn't have any interesting things behind it and just pure hype.

1853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: possibilities for crypto on: June 29, 2018, 11:21:49 AM
As some of you all know. Cryptocurrency is built in a very decentralized way. I do not think that a control over it is plausible as it has it's own body or what we call Blockchain. But I am hoping for something like a regulation that would make cryptocurrency a little bit trusted as scams might get thin. Also, a legalization of cryptocurrency would mean everything in a country. Once the usage of it is legal, it would simply mean a signal go for investors who are afraid from it from the start.
1854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best altcoin to invest upon right now? on: June 28, 2018, 12:53:53 PM
Threads like this won't really help you much as people would suggest a bunch of coins to you. What I'm going to give is tips for a newbie like you that would I think help to make your decisions a little bit right. Investing into coins is not that easy. Without proper research, you could end up in a really bad situation. If someone recommend a coin to you, you first should research what's its background. Read its whitepaper because that's where the details are. Then next is know the background of the team. Team is very important as scam ICOs tend to just copy people's identity and without extensive research, you could end up getting scammed. By the way, I think the safest investment that you could do now is Bitcoin. I hope that helps you.
1855  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term argument for bitcoin on: June 28, 2018, 10:30:21 AM
Well as you can see, Bitcoin has been around more than all the altcoins which makes it a factor for it being more chose than the others. Also, Bitcoin has been the safest investment in the entire cryptocurrency space compared to other coins that have been created. Not only that, Bitcoin also has been use all over the world to transact money for all kinds of services or Bitcoin to fiat. It's easy to use Bitcoin and that it's not that complicated to understand which is why people prefers it.
1856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do Bounty Hunters Sell Immediately they receive reward? on: June 28, 2018, 02:39:21 AM
ICO project managers know that a bounty hunter would sell the reward tokens immediately but I think they really simply cannot avoid it as it is a reward and that hunters own it themselves. Most of the time, once a token gets into an exchange, bounty hunters just sells it and get instant profit. There are numerous reasons why they do it. I think the first one is to get a profit as soon as possible, because we know that ICOs takes a lot of time to get things done and bounty hunters work for them for like a month or even a year which is kind of frustrating. Second one is to sell the tokens and once the dip happened, they're just going to buy again at a lower price to accumulate and hold more.

1858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you deserve this? on: June 27, 2018, 10:53:12 AM
Yes, pumps and dumps has been around for quite some time now. It's kind of sad that a lot of people are hyping so much that newbies tend to get hyped and buy those scam coins. It's also kind of sad that the price of all altcoins are all connected to Bitcoin in terms of dollars which if Bitcoin falls, all altcoin falls too. I doubt that this kind of thing will stop though as the volatility of this market is high and that the price of coin cannot be stabilized as whales tend to hoard so much.
1859  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold & Silver are safe than bank deposits ?? on: June 27, 2018, 10:16:16 AM
I kind of agree that Gold and silver will give you the safest security when it comes to your money. We all know that most of the time, we really don't have our money and that the money that we give to the bank are not in our control once we deposited it. Gold and silver however, we can have a full control over it which is great. Also, as you just stated in your post, banks give more investment return more than the average bank annual interest. So I'd say Gold and Silver are safe rather than bank deposits.
1860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The fall of Ethereum on: June 27, 2018, 08:23:03 AM
I see that you are not paying much attention in what is going on. A lot of things happened this past couple of months which resulted into declining price of not just Ethereum, but almost all of the coins in the cryptocurrency space. A lot of events like Chinese new year, exchanges getting hacked, security problems, Scam ICO, ICO's getting banned from certain places, and many more. Ethereum is one of the most valued coins in the crypto space and having Ethereum fall is close to impossible in my opinion.
