For a mobile phone to run well, its chipset plays a greater role than RAM.  So if you are using an iphone which is made by A bionic chip, then in this case even if you are using a iphone with 2 GB RAM you will not be able to slow it down in any way
While this is true for any phone with a decent chipset, you still have to keep in mind that you won't able to multitask as easily as if your phone has a big RAM. I don't think Android and iOS have the same RAM management system too, which is why even on an 8GB phone sometimes Android can feel slow because some apps are still loaded on their memory. CMIIW.

I always play more than anything on PC, I don't really like to play on android because sometimes when I go out the data from my phone is not so fast and that can make me lose, however the apps are very good,
Any decent Android app should never feel slow if you run on a decent phone. I can clearly tell a difference if the app is developed properly or not on my phone at least. It can run Genshin with no problem but if a random gaming app always stutters then it is very likely that the app itself is terrible. By "out of data", do you mean accessing your internet from a mobile phone network instead of wifi/LAN? If that's the case, the issue is probably the ping itself and not necessary the app.

It is true that any site will run smoothly with a good Fluxip phone, all types of websites and all types of applications will run very smoothly on that phone.
What is this Fluxip phone you mentioned? I tried to search for it on Google but it shows me a medicine instead.
1842  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trouble with Trezor model T on: January 06, 2023, 01:43:50 PM
The funny thing about the article I read on Reddit is that the support isn't good enough and they make ridiculous requests:
I tried to search for that proof of destruction thing mentioned by one of the users but I could not find one from Trezor. The only reason I can think of is what has been mentioned privacy above. You should be able to return the device securely after resetting it though. I never heard any wallet company request your private key to process a replacement. I think that the user misunderstood something from the support, or the support is just extremely terrible at explaining things. If that was not the case, then damn, you'll probably feel safer buying a new wallet instead.

I also have a model T, and there are problems with incorrect PIN entry, especially when I have not used the device for a long time. What is the reason, I have not yet found out
If it is similar to what OP or others on the threads mentioned above, one of the likely reasons is a faulty screen. I doubt you can get a replacement for free in this case since it sounds like you bought the device long ago. CMIIW.

https://www.reddit.com/r/VPN/comments/551zsq/got_a_threatening_notice_from_my_vpn_provider/
https://www.reddit.com/r/VPN/comments/1pf3vz/do_not_buy_from_hidemyass/
https://www.reddit.com/r/VPN/comments/15ns47/thinking_of_using_hidemyass_as_a_vpn_think_again/

Referensi:

1846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: wallets that work with bet365 on: January 06, 2023, 11:37:09 AM
Debit card in my country is for only withdrawing and not for depositing money.
Does that mean regardless of what platform you use, you can't use a debit card to pay your bills? That sounds a bit outdated. That means the usage of your debit card is very limited such as withdrawing money from ATM or something similar.

but i had no problems in my bank until i made wire transfer, after that they asked a huge volume of information about all my transactions.
But if there is no choice - we have to use it.
It might have to do with the volume of your transaction, or they have some policy regarding gambling-related transactions so they need more info just in case they need to monitor you further. I think it is unavoidable if you use fiat, I won't be surprised if you use another bank and try to do the same thing and get flagged too. Ultimately, you'll have to deal with it if fiat is the only way to make your purchase.

The strange time we live in - huge quantity of ways to deposit/withdraw money, but the only way is to use wire transfer.
In your case, that might be true, but most of the time you can use your card as usual without giving any detailed KYC if you just transfer in low amounts (assuming privacy is not a big deal on that transaction). Whether it is for gambling or other transactions, due to the AML policy, the bank will always monitor your transactions anyway. CMIIW.
1847  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that this AI is good for trading? on: January 05, 2023, 09:07:06 AM
Despite their intelligence, these machines are incapable of making good trades. Additionally, despite the potential of these machines, I would invest my time and effort in learning how to trade rather than rely on it.
If I understand them correctly, how good/bad they depend on what data the developer feeds them. Not sure how reliable they are but it is definitely easy to get trading history data if they just scrap them from exchanges. CMIIW.

In a perfect world where technology always works, then it is definitely a great tool to use. Since the real market does not always follow that, then nobody should treat them as the gospel to make a profitable trade. I personally view them as an advanced tool from your usual bot trading tools.

But the bot can ease the learning process for you by getting most accurate or accurate information from the web for you.
I won't be surprised if these bots just paraphrase the top 10 results from Google or something similar. OP or anyone should learn further by doing demos or real trading with limited funds. Knowledge about technical terms won't be enough to make them a good trader, regardless if they use AI/bot or not.
1848  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto Exchange Business on: January 05, 2023, 04:47:59 AM
My plan is to create an app like paypal for people to make online transactions with venders. The app would only host one main coin that I would like to create as a  safecoin for people to use as currency for the venders.
Why the need to limit the app to one coin? I don't think there's enough appeal for that since users and vendors would be forced to use your coin and need to swap if they want to use your platform. Why don't you allow anyone to use any crypto they like, but provide an incentive to use your own token instead? For example, if they use/stake your token, then they'll get a 10% discount for every transaction.

This idea is not new btw, lots of decentralized exchanges/marketplaces use the same incentive to encourage users to use their own tokens. But they don't limit the usage of other cryptos, so they can still earn from other sources. Btw, what your project does is act as a payment gateway for marijuana vendors, which will probably compete with other payment gateways such as BTCPay server. Have you seen them before, and find what makes your project stand out other than the support for other cryptos other than Bitcoin? CMIIW.
1849  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin prepaid visa card, no kyc on: January 04, 2023, 01:51:42 PM
I've checked the Whois and since there's not much feedback about this platform I expect the project to be a year older but to my surprise, they are already in their 6th year of operation and they are extending their domain to 2031.
Is it possible that they simply bought the domain from somebody else? From the Crunchbase link, it is stated that they were founded in 2021, so the year does not check out (CMIIW, I'm not familiar with how DNS registration work). Their Twitter was also registered in 2021, so that's that.

They lacked proper marketing to get maximum exposure for their project they only have a few followers on their social media account. Just look at their FB account https://www.facebook.com/thebtcco only 11 followers
They have a decent amount of followers on Twitter though, but it is hard to tell whether they bought it or not. But anyway the app itself has been downloaded at least a thousand times. If they started in 2016 and just managed to get at least 1k users, that's not really successful IMO. I'd definitely check them out if there is no need to download an app to buy a gift card, just like how most of their competitor works.
1850  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Advice wanted for blockchain game opening up to ERC-20 tokens on: January 04, 2023, 01:37:07 PM
Are you referring to this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.platinumegg.crosslink ?

How did you contact them and what is your proposition? Based on the reviews I can see that some users are not happy with the game itself, hence if you charge them a lot to put their token there they won't be interested. There are other media where new projects can easily do their marketing, I think it will be difficult to compete with them because they can provide awareness for 'free' (Twitter, for example).

What if you just add support for every new token launch, but take fees if anyone uses the token? That way you don't have to wait for another party to start collecting fees. But I think the urgent issue is to improve the game if the feedback from the users is to be trusted.
1851  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you don't get the merit, the ranking won't go up? on: January 04, 2023, 12:30:30 PM
Merit is not a benchmark to judge members who are active in forums with good and useful content or posts.
While merit is not always an objective metric to judge whether someone is posting useful and interesting content, it is definitely a good one to filter out spammer. Like it or not, if we try to compare members with a 10 earned merit and 100 earned merit over the span of 120 days, we'll likely see the later post more interesting post.

I think rome is trying to post it from the POV of a campaign manager since they need to choose the best poster for their campaign. If you're just a regular user then there is obviously no incentive to 'monitor' users. That being said, we have multiple tools to check the merit history for each member, so there is obviously a demand for something like that. OP can also follow them if he wants to 'learn' how to make a post that is interesting if his goal is to rank up and participate in an engaging forum discussion.
1852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which exchanger do you recommend to convert btc to eth? on: January 04, 2023, 06:16:20 AM
I prefer Atomic Wallet, you can exchange your bitcoins for Ethereum with good fees and you do not need KYC, also the Godex.io platform and Letsexchange.io are the best for me as you can do many transactions anonymously
I'm not familiar with Godex or Letsexchange but as far as I know, Atomic Wallet uses Changenow to process the transaction. So, the KYC policy might change and get complicated even if you don't use Changenow directly. There have been many negative discussions about Changenow in the past iirc, so anyone interested in using them is recommended to research more about them.

Changenow aside, so many of these instant exchanges don't offer their own exchange but connect to other services like Changelly, Changenow, etc. I've seen so many KYC complaints in the past even if the transaction amount is allegedly low. So be careful when using them. If you don't want to risk it, you better use Bisq or something similar if converting to BTC is the only thing that you need.
1853  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: January 04, 2023, 05:45:40 AM
I think that we are talking about RAM. It is not a problem to free space in modern phones. But it can become a problem if you use an old phone and not only for gambling. In such a way you can have big apps you can`t remove.
I see. IIRC, even old phones have RAM cleaning features if your RAM is running out, you can also simply force close some apps to get more memory. Rooting your phone might help if the app you want to stop is system protected, but even then as far as I know those memory-hungry apps are not likely system exclusive. If the issue is a lack of RAM memory, then the only solution would be to buy a new phone. However, if I use a gaming app that takes a lot of memory (for example, because they use WebGL which is poorly coded, CMIIW), I'd use a different app instead.

My last 3 phones worked for 4 years each. But i buy a good phone with big storage and RAM. It is quite expensive but i don`t have any problems with it for 3-4 years. And after change phone the old one can work several years but no so easily.
We more or less did the same thing. Most of the time battery is the issue for me. And since I live far away from the manufacturer, it is hard to get an official replacement. Fortunately, I managed to buy a new one from a reputable brand that has an official store near my area, so I hope this phone can last longer than 5 years.
1854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: DogeChain Password Recovery Help on: January 03, 2023, 11:10:05 AM
I have the wallet ID and access to 2FA but I don't have a password. Tried all probable passwords which I used since 2012, but failed to retrieve them.
If that is the case, then what keychain mentioned above won't help you that much. You'll need to bruteforce your password since block.io doesn't support any recovery for that. CMIIW.

The wallet recovery service mentioned by vv above might be able to help you. They have a decent reputation both in and outside of the forum, as long as you don't mind the flat 20% fee when they managed to crack your password. If you don't want that, then either brute force it on your own or try to restore the data from your laptop. Btw, have you managed to recover it? If that fails then brute force is the only way to go.
1855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: will this damage the device? on: January 03, 2023, 10:59:25 AM
Actually, I'm still new to Bitcoin mining so I decided to try using NiceHash cloud mining through CPU, I thought the mechanism would be the same and I just studied it first before I bought ASIC as the main mining equipment which is more effective and efficient.
Cloud mining is different from running your own rig afaik. Btw, do you have access to cheap electricity before you decide to buy an ASIC? If you don't have them, I doubt you'll make a decent profit, even reaching a break-even might take some time. You can probably start another thread asking about profitability with your setup if you still have a difficult time calculating how long you need to mine before you can make a profit.

If you decide to research more into altcoin mining, then browse the Altcoin board for further info. I don't recall seeing a general guide there, but you can search or post a new thread if you found something that you don't understand. Most of the time you'll find a dedicated guide for each software/pool so just see if one of them is suitable for you.
1856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [Tutorial] Earn Gaga Tokens Just By Running Node on: January 03, 2023, 06:48:26 AM
So, anyone can install the apk and start mining without any cost? How will they prevent attacks like the 51% attack then?

I think you need to explain more about profitability and the cost. For example, how profitable is it to run this on a mid-range Android phone, how much you can earn per day, how much electricity is required etc. One of the most obvious issues is whether our phones can sustain the heat or not. I don't believe phone mining is sustainable and profitable regardless of what we mine, and I think I'm not the only one who believes this.
1857  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: 1.6 BTC locked on Blockchain.com on: January 03, 2023, 06:24:22 AM
Since you've logged in to most of the browsers then I think it's time for you to test and use their app and maybe that will change the result. I've just also read it somewhere years ago and tried that solution and it worked, hopefully it will work to you.
Did the app bypass the IP verification procedure? If it doesn't then I don't think it can solve OP's problem. OP can't log in because he uses a new IP, so the client he uses doesn't really matter afaik. CMIIW.
I also sent them +10 DM on twitter...
That's really weird. Have you tried mentioning them in one of your tweets before you sent a DM? Maybe they never check DMs unless you ping them first. But if you don't have a ticket ID, I think it will be a bit difficult for them to follow up since they always ask for it. It's horrible customer support for sure. I also suggest checking the Reddit account posted above. They don't seem that active but they respond in a timely manner if there's a new thread about them.
1858  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: January 03, 2023, 05:59:58 AM
It is a good decision but not for all users. I don`t see any problem to root phone, but it is not standard.
I don't think rooting a phone is necessary just to remove some apps. Unless you want to remove system-protected apps, which in most cases will likely brick your phone even if you use a custom from. Not to mention those big apps are mostly web browsers, games, and so on. Chrome for example takes around 1 GB (IIRC) just for the installation files and necessary data, so if you have multiple web browsers removing some of them will give you a decent amount of free space.

But nowadays it is normal practice - change phone every 2-3 years.
That's so short IMO. Personally, I change my phone every 5 years. Even that is not always the case since some of my phones still run great. If it's not because of the limited storage I'd probably never change my phone. I miss the time when SD cards is always supported on new phones so I don't have to resort to self-hosted cloud storage to store some of my data.
1859  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Fryx Finance - An open-source Monero/Bitcoin exchange with %0 trading fees. on: January 02, 2023, 12:46:49 PM
I don't see an exchange rate on your website. How would you determine how much 1 BTC is worth, or how will the user knows if their order will go through or not if the exchange rate, open order/order history etc is not visible? Do they have to wait until their transaction gets confirmed on the blockchain?

If that's the case, then the risk for them will greatly increase since they need to depend on you to be trustworthy. I don't think this is the right choice to make since you'll never get any customers by doing so. You should rework this a bit, at least make it so that users can see the liquidity of your market.

Also, what does the 0.00001 BTC/XMR at the bottom of the page mean? Is it the fee you take for every withdrawal and refund when a user can't buy/sell their coins? I understand that you want to take profit from every withdrawal, but why would you request additional funds when a refund is issued (assuming the cause is the inability to fulfill the order)? That would discourage traders instead. CMIIW.
1860  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hackers steal $8 million from users running trojanized BitKeep apps on: January 02, 2023, 12:05:09 PM
I don't know where users download the virus-infected hijacked APK from?
It would be great if the reports mention detailed information about this. But then if this is not what happened I'm pretty sure people will post on social media rebutting their statement. I'm not sure how APK update work in detail but Android should add something like an update will be rejected if the apk is not signed by the same publisher. This should help prevent installing a fake app on top of the real one. However, no one should rely on this and download/verify the apk themselves.

With that being said, the only place where anyone should download the app is from the official website, but even then you may end up being victim if you click on a phishing website.
Another option would be to build it on your own. I don't think this would become mainstream since a lot of people are using closed-source app nowadays. At the end of the day, every method has its own risk. We just gotta deal with it.

it's negligence on their part they are lucky if Bitkeep reimburses them its not their part anyway.
IMO some people still don't understand what decentralized means. Whether the app is terrible/secure or not, expecting reimbursement from a decentralized wallet app when things go south should not be the guarantee for the security of their funds.
