Lend a guy some money to make a bet - nice

heh... Think what you wish!  I'm always good on my debts though Smiley

Also, I'm not going to be betting ALL of it!
1842  Economy / Lending / Re: I am willing to loan 0.1 BTC to a member with good rep. on: July 10, 2013, 10:22:32 PM

I know you have good rep from others for paying back loans, so ok. What's your address?

Send 0.1 BTC to:
16cTWkJdgnmF9mp6VmTBAWnbV2nufKJjFj

Repay 0.12 on or before 17-Jul-13.

Sound good?

Sounds good, the payment might be a bit, because I accidentally sent some transactions w/ out fees, but as soon as that clears, I will send it to you. Regardless, you will get 7 days from the time of payment.

Sounds good.  Hopefully it gets here in time for me to bet on the Rangers game tonight Smiley

FYI

I believe the owner of that site stated in another thread that it is "earnest money" listed there... meaning you have to pay that much if you intend on buying it, but the current price in Chinese yuan is 5000/10000

Its an LLC.

And ya..im not fond of this at all. But I really dont have the capital to take this to what it could be. I need to come up with something...something legit.

I believe in cryptocurrencies...I want to be able to get new people into it. I think Hostedmining offers that but unless I can expand and offer a real hosting solution I am just spinning my wheels.

You need to read up on how to issue memberships/share certificates for your LLC in your state.

Or pay someone to that knows how... I only have done this in Texas, but I am sure it is easy in all states.

You could easily split the company up into 1000 shares representing 0.1% of the company, and hold on to 600 shares, and sell 400.

Then you just have to have a clear accounting trail, and anytime you take a profit you issue dividends to all the share holders... assuming you are profitable?  If not, then I don't think you will be able to sell those shares very easily Tongue

Any preferences for a name?  How's SantaCoin?

It's for miners, why not something to go with that?

RockCoin (ROK)
StoneCoin (STN)
AxeCoin (AXE)
PickCoin (PIK)

1848  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: 1 year loan on: July 10, 2013, 08:07:24 PM
ewwww you don't want to do an IPO... that's a horrible way to sell shares for small companies - unless you want to create a shell company and invade the OTC boards with a scam lol

Keep the company private.

Do you have an LLC or a S/C Corp?

1849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Coin Made Especially for Miners. on: July 10, 2013, 07:57:48 PM
Sounds cool.  I'll definitely follow it's release.  Good luck Smiley

1850  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The price of New Blade and Mini Blade was announced by rockxie on: July 10, 2013, 07:53:36 PM
I can't believe people still do this despite all the scammers that have been charging back and using stolen credit cards to buy them.  Good luck with that.

I assume that is all through Paypal?

Maybe I will just sell on CL or bitmit for a smaller profit.
1851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Coin Made Especially for Miners. on: July 10, 2013, 07:38:07 PM
Rewarding smaller investors is actually the basis of capitalism... otherwise you just end up with Microsoft and nothing else, because microsoft own everything. Then again, decentralized currencies are the bane of Marxist ideology...so that'd be a bad idea.

Sounds like this is pooling all the blocks and giving people a percentage... that is going to make people destroy the coin by their own greed.  Sounds like Marxism and why it will never work, to me...
1852  Economy / Lending / Re: I am willing to loan 0.1 BTC to a member with good rep. on: July 10, 2013, 07:31:07 PM
I might even let you caress my tail.

Mmmmmm I might need to make a new account to get this offer.

That's a sexy tail... <3
1853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Coin Made Especially for Miners. on: July 10, 2013, 07:30:02 PM
I'd be interested in hearing more about this... going to call it the MarxistCoin?

Humanity is awful to one another. Sad

The Big Lebowski (just fun to watch for some reason... many good scenes, but its just fun watching Jesus bowl and hearing a spanish version of hotel california - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6z0Zay9itk)

You said it man.  Nobody fucks with teh Jesus.

1856  Economy / Lending / Re: I am willing to loan 0.1 BTC to a member with good rep. on: July 10, 2013, 07:19:14 PM

You just made yourself an enemy. Not sure why the heck anyone would go out of their way to discredit someone.. Seems to be a lot of dickheads on this forum. -_-

They do have good intentions (mostly)

You have to understand a lot of scammers lurk these boards, and they don't care if it's 10BTC or 0.01 BTC... they just want to steal something.

Not saying that describes you at all, though..
1857  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This Is How You Can Earn Bitcoins From Dice Games on: July 10, 2013, 07:14:06 PM
The method the op is describing has the bet doubled after each loss, even though the payout is 3x. The eventual win will pay back more than the total bet.  However, it also means the bet will increase faster which leads to an increased risk of going bust.

Right, but it is still a fun way to gamble.

Just a disclaimer for anyone who is going to try this:

YOU CAN NOT BEAT THE HOUSE.  EVER.  YOU WILL ALWAYS LOSE.
1858  Economy / Lending / Re: I am willing to loan 0.1 BTC to a member with good rep. on: July 10, 2013, 07:09:47 PM
I'll take it if you want.  Pick me!  Pick me!

Took a few "micro loans" and repaid both.

Will just be using it to bet on sports throughout the week and hopefully I won't lose it all.  But if I do, I have more than enough LTC and CAP to cover it by exchanging it on Cryptsy.

Edit: lol... looks like "I'll take it" was already taken.  Cheesy
1859  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: PPS vs PPLNS for GPU Mining on: July 10, 2013, 06:57:33 PM
CAP = BottleCaps... they are new.  I'm mining them right now because they are just as profitable (if not moreso) than LTC and FTC at the moment... and I'm a Fallout franchise junkie Tongue

All three are relatively the same, but you can go to this site and it will give you a breakdown.  Not sure how accurate it all is, but from my own experience, CAP > FTC > LTC right now.  That could change.

http://dustcoin.com/

With my rig, I get around 1 LTC or 40 FTC or 200 CAP a day.

Per Cryptsy.com
1 LTC = 0.03448900 BTC
1 FTC = 0.00096998 BTC * 40 = 0.0387992 BTC
1 CAP = 0.00017443* BTC * 200 = 0.034886 BTC

* this was at 0.0002 earlier today and is volatile... FTC and LTC are more stable as CAP is about 2 weeks old.

Conversely, I can mine ~0.015 BTC a day... so it's definitely more worth it to mine alt-coins and trade them for BTC if you aren't mining with an ASIC.

I'd point the GPUs to LTC/FTC/CAP and just mine BTC with the USB.

You can exchange LTC/FTC/CAP on Cryptsy for BTC and you will end up with a larger return that way.

Thanks. I actually was considering doing LiteCoin with my GPUs because of some articles I read.

I assume LTC = LiteCoin, FTC  = FeatherCoin, CAP = Huh. Which of the three would you recommend?
1860  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoins annomously on: July 10, 2013, 06:19:25 PM
You trying to get some drugs on Silk Road?  Just buy some from localbitcoins.com

It's safer than a drug dealer!

Hello fellas

I was wondering the best possible way to get bitcoins annomously. Would meeting with somebody in person and exchanging via blockchain as in wallet to wallet be the best way? If this true, why couldn't I just have a friend go get bitcoins via moneygram and deposit them through bitinstant and then exchange with him through blockchain? That way my identity would remain unknown? I am not sure though. I am trying to gain as much insight as I can before following through.
