881  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Inputs.io Is Gone I'm Calling It A Scam on: November 08, 2013, 03:35:20 PM
I think bitcoiners finally will learn the lesson - NEVER trust your Bitcoins to the online wallet!

Sadly, I don't think they will.

If there is one thing that I learned this year, it is that people are careless with their Bitcoins.

Not sure why naive people are drawn to this community but scams are clearly going to continue to pile up.
882  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ACCUSATION: TradeFortress + Inputs.io + theymos + Kluge on: November 08, 2013, 03:01:40 PM
Who is Kluge and why is he being accused?
883  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Inputs.io Security on: November 08, 2013, 02:55:36 PM
Maybe TradeFortress will be back making similar posts in 6 months.
he'll be running another lucrative long con within a year. i have completely lost faith in this community's resolve to root out scammers.

Bitcoin is perfect for criminals.  I really thought this community would have more umm... enforcers.
884  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ACCUSATION: TradeFortress + Inputs.io on: November 08, 2013, 02:53:04 PM
OP Updated awaiting my ban now for stating theymos was in on it  Cry

I wouldn't be surprised.  Isn't he the one who added TF to the default trust list?

I'm sure there are more than a couple n00bs who blindly trusted him because his trust is was green

885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting Picks (NEW) group skype chat ( RECORD 360-105-30) on: November 08, 2013, 02:47:56 PM

Hi!  BTW, I loaned boelens, can I get on your trust list?  Grin
Do you speak proper english?  I want a yes or no, not an insult.
Besides, nobody is addressing to you, I feel like you're just jealous... Of what?
I have no idea, maybe you can answer that.

You need to learn proper grammar.

stick to the ones most girls understand

"i trade international currencies" - no cheese required

"I want to slip my inputs into your io and penetrate that TradeFortress, baby"
888  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Inputs.io Security on: November 07, 2013, 09:24:38 PM
TradeFortress, you seem very very calm about losing a significant amount of the people's Bitcoins. Acting as if nothing has happened.

Because he just became BTC4100 richer.

No kidding!

Still not sure what the appeal of that website was anyways.  I'd never want to keep my bitcoins on the internet.
889  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: TradeFortress stole 30 of my BTC on: November 07, 2013, 08:58:11 PM
Why would you think it's safer to store your bitcoins in someone else's wallet?

Would you hide your cash in someone else's mattress?

If so, I have a savings account that you can store your savings in...
890  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Will India Explode? on: November 07, 2013, 08:55:24 PM
3. A lot of Indians work in high-tech jobs, so the understanding of computers and encryption won't be a big turnoff for them.

IT Customer Service isn't exactly "high-tech" Tongue
891  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: November 07, 2013, 08:20:40 PM
Seriously, though,  why do any of you imagine the gender of the other bitcoin users might matter?

I've been working on some ASIC pick up lines, and I can only use them on Bitcoin girls.

"Hey baby, do you work for Avalon?  Cuz I would hash that shit a gigaton."

892  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ACCUSATION: TradeFortress + Inputs.io on: November 07, 2013, 07:54:44 PM

He is Australian, so he probably is sleeping now. He has responded to lots of emails today, and quite a few people were sent a (partial) refund.

I can't imagine he is getting much sleep right now.

He is either celebrating with all of the money he made off the heist, or he is feverishly working to try and figure out what the hell happened and how he can repay all of his customers.

You be the decide.
893  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ACCUSATION: TradeFortress + Inputs.io on: November 07, 2013, 07:36:27 PM

pls go look @ TradeFortress trust rating

ttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=67058

This could be the stupidest post ever.  I don't think trust rating really matters at this point, but sadly that is probably why so many people blindly trusted putting their money into someone else's wallet.

If John K (arguably the most trusted person on this board) suddenly had an escrow get "hacked" that was worth $1,000,000.00 USD no one should give a shit about his trust for previous escrows.  They should care about the evidence that he provides that proves he was, in fact, hacked, and listen to the explanations laid out regarding that specific incidence.

To put it another way, if a man slept with 499 women consensually, but the 500th claimed he raped her, would you discredit the rape as saying, “well he didn’t rape the other women!” Huh
894  Economy / Services / Re: The oldest sig ad campaign - get 0.3 BTC/month for free! No need to keep posting on: November 07, 2013, 07:22:15 PM

Sad So are we going to mark TradeFortress as a SCAMMER:!(  Huh

Feel free to.  I have never dealt with him or his websites.

I'm just saying that an inside job seems more likely than a hacker considering most people are claiming TF promised that he stored the majority of the bitcoins offline.  No way a hacker could get to those unless he is holding back information and his personal/business residence was broken into.
895  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: November 07, 2013, 07:14:34 PM
At least the one I gave 50 BTC to at $5 .... she still has them, probably gonna pay off her student loans with it.

You gave $250 to a stranger?  Did you at least get a cam show or something?

50 BTC bro.. 50
50x300=15000$

Reading is hard, bro.

896  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Will India Explode? on: November 07, 2013, 07:13:30 PM
I thought this was going to be a nuclear topic.
897  Economy / Services / Re: The oldest sig ad campaign - get 0.3 BTC/month for free! No need to keep posting on: November 07, 2013, 07:09:51 PM
was this an inside job  Huh

That certainly makes the most sense.  Claim site was hacked, establish a protocol for people to get partial refunds.  Refund many people as they make requests to make it look like an actual attack.   Then pocket all of the lower balances of people who either forgot they had small amounts stored there or simply don't care enough about a small amount of their bitcoins.

898  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: November 07, 2013, 06:43:40 PM
No. Shes a friend, and I kinda liked her at the time, and it was her birthday.

Groovy.  Want to be my friend?  I have perky tits and my birthday is next month.
899  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ACCUSATION: TradeFortress + Inputs.io on: November 07, 2013, 06:42:46 PM
Ouch.  Glad I never trusted an online wallet to begin with!  Sad
