Nope this is  science and math nothing to do with luck Shocked

Cryptography is also maths, but it's also all about randomization. You can't have random factors in a math problem and don't expect luck to come into play.
I'd suggest anyone who wants to try a pool or miner, to use it for at least 30 hours and then check the earnings of the last 24 hours.

It is not false !

does it still work with the claymore 11.7 version?

It stooped working a few versions before that, so I wouldn't expect it to work on any newer versions. I haven't try 11.7 since I've stooped mining ETH but I'm pretty sure it won't work.

TL;DR
SO WHY DOES THE PERCEPTION/RUMOR THAT THE ETN TEAM HAVE A LACK OF KNOWLEDGE IN BLOCKCHIAN TECH CONTINUE TO BE CIRCULATED?

Because it takes more than a few words to prove and explain, and people call any detailed explanation a "o wall of text" he he ha ha, not funny IMO.

So what happens?

A.  People are just lazy and would rather go with the quick one line opinion of some idiot who hasnt read up on the subject either

B.  They are purposefully spreading FUD because they are paid to do so by a competitor.

C.  They own coins in a competing project, and they believe their FUD is strong enough to actually lower the price.  Roll Eyes

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER, AND IN THIS CASE, PROFITABLE BECAUSE ETN SITS UNDER 3 CENTS RIGHT NOW.

Very well said my man! Grin Too bad I'm out of sMerits !

I was wondering until when will the campaign run, but I couldn't find the info. Did I miss something or you have not decided on that yet?

Quick question,

I have been running 5 cards, and today added a sixth.  I reset benchmarks and am in the process of re-running them.  The issue is in the miner windows its only using 5 cards.  I see in the main window its using the command -d 0,1,2,3,4 (so only 5 cards).  Is this normal?  I used the detect GPUs and it pulls all six cards.  Its showing 6 active but only 5 are being used in the miner window.

Any ideas?

FWIW these are my usual troubleshooting steps:

1. Quit Nemos
2. Delete the miners folder
3. Restart the machine
4. Run Nemos
5. Detect cards
6. Save config
7. Start mining

It's a bit of a hassle but that should definitely get it going.

I've noticed that if I change the GPU count. I must click "save config" exit out of nemosminer and re-open for it to fully update and use the new GPU count.

You could also change the "config" file inside the "config" folder. Scroll down in this file and you'll see something like "0,1,2,3,4" etc. If you need any strange combination of cards like "3,4,5" then your only option at the moment is to go edit this config file. Oh and you need to change both the entries (the comma separated and the space separated), they are next to each other in the same file.

Devnet within a few weeks, v2 mainnet a month after that
https://www.reddit.com/r/ArkEcosystem/comments/8jpi0z/a_ton_of_cool_technical_stuff_proof_of_ownership

Very exciting time.
Ark rules them all!

Thanks for the info!
But what is "Proof of Ownership"? I tried to google and read this: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Proof_of_Ownership and what I understood is that you can trace (for example) from where did the address that sent you a payment received the coins in the first place. But is this just that? It doesn't sound too useful if it's just that.
1850  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much does an Airdrop cost? on: May 16, 2018, 11:55:54 AM
I'm using a different email account for airdrops and I never bother to join one if they require real life data.
If they give some free ERC20 token by just providing them your Ethereum public address, so then be it.
I kinda feel like a collector who gathers different tokens, this has is a joy in itself and one of my collected token might end up having a value one day!

I noticed that my payment through my voted delegate has been falling the last 3 days. How does that work?
Could it be that if a delegate gets many voters, everyone of his voters get smaller rewards?

And it fell again... with 223.66 ARK balance how should I calculate my returns? I've noticed that the last 5 consecutive days I had lower and lower payments even though my balance was not reduced. My delegate hasn't miss any blocks either (99.73% productivity) so I'm wondering how does that work! Undecided

The payments are probably lower because your delegate is getting more votes. The forging of a single delegate is more or less a constant with some small daily variance because of luck. But if the forged Ark has to be distributed among more and more voters, then you get less and less.

Damn! I though about it a little too late, I won't advertise my delegate ever again! Lips sealed
SENPAI- I mean... THE DELEGATE IS MINE

I don't understand why am I getting a little less than 4€ / day when the calculators and NemosMiner shows about 7€ to 8€.
I've also added another pool into NemosMiner list which I will not name here, could there be a penalty if my miner is "pool hopping" between two pools? I've even increased the minimum time between changes to 3 minutes from the default 2 minutes, it usually changes every 20-30 minutes though.
I'm using 3 cards btw, is there any other small miner with similar issues like mine? Maybe someone knows why the actual earnings are so far from the calculations?
http://whattomine.com/coins
Yes, one of the calculators I've used and it says I should be getting about 6€ per day.
what video cards do you have and how many. and what script

1 x 1070 , 1 x 1070ti , 1 x 1080ti
I've checked the payment of a non-yiimp-like pool and it provides me with what it should, it's just that the other pool doesn't offer many coins for mining, that's why I prefer Zpool.

What about all the XVG stolen from on CCEX. Can someone from the development team reply. I had 620K  XVG on CCEX. Supposedly CCEX lost over 200M XVG. Please HELP

What should devs do about that now? Why do you store your coins on an exchange?

What @kokayne said and also... 620k XVG is like 31.000€ or 37.000$, I find it hard to believe a newbie like you would have obtained such a huge amount. You're either trolling or you're rich.

For those who have problem with the mobile miner stoping, check your settings under battery policies. Allow the app to "auto-start" and disable the app cleaning when screen is locked. Depending on the Android version you run, those settings might be different though.

I used to mine with 4 phones and with 2 tablets (6 devices simultaneously)  for around 5 weeks but my pending balance just disappeared, basically earned zero ETN so far.
Btw guys, anything I can do to increase my has rate? Do I need to buy a better phone?

After the gaming GPUs, let's not skyrocket the phone prices now!!

If my experience with the stock market and forex trading is any guide, ARK's is gathering momentum for big brake out. Buy while it's still cheap mates but don't advertise it too much, we stand to gain more while it's increasing slowly! Grin
