I wonder if he's working on something that can be bigger and better than bitcoin? That would unleash a shitstorm.

Major Bytecoin update

Bytecoin source code has been largely updated.

1) The block chain has been moved out of RAM, which cut down the usage from 4 GB to 850 MB. In the next releases it is expected to become as low as 350 MB.
2) The block chain file is now unified across all platforms.

When you run the new binaries, the daemon will automatically convert your old block chain to the new format. Your "blockchain.bin" file will be split into 3 files: "blockindexes.dat", "blockscache.dat", "blocks.dat".

Next week there will be another significant update!

P.S. BCN devs would like to thank all the beta tester from the community that helped them launch this release.

Locking the poll now; seems like there are more trolls than honest answers.
1847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] How Many Bitcoins Do You Own? on: June 20, 2014, 01:14:54 PM
So out of 57 voters right now, 6 of them own 1000+ BTC   Shocked
1848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] How Many Bitcoins Do You Own? on: June 20, 2014, 10:26:07 AM
There are already few poll threads about similar question, most of them points that more than 70% people who are into bitcoin acquire <1btc.

Though there are only 26 votes currently, 65% of them own between 1 & 100 BTC

I guess people are constantly increasing their BTC holdings.
1849  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much you have BTC??? on: June 20, 2014, 05:52:42 AM
Most people will never answer honestly to such question, so instead I posted a poll here:

1850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / [POLL] How Many Bitcoins Do You Own? on: June 20, 2014, 05:50:14 AM
I'm sure I won't get honest replies if I ask for exact amounts you guys own.

So instead I'm asking everyone to vote on the range of Bitcoins they own.

In case there's anyone out there who hasn't watched:

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

The movie is one of my all-time favorite. It is long, but every moment is enjoyable, you wouldn't want it to be short.

Great website! The 'About' page does everything it can to make the coin mysterious as far as it can, to the extent of mentioning Cicada 3031 Grin

Notice how you do it? Never admit you were wrong, always gradually backpedal.

With that much of electricity being used for Bitcoin mining, I really wish mining analyzed some useful data, like protein folding or SETI data.

Indonesia. I am sure you must have heard it not?? : D
here work in government, agency or department of education can not make you rich. if you want to be rich, you must be an online business or open their own business in the field of services and goods. but apart from all that, I love my country;)

Indonesians are very competitive on online freelancing sites. That explains it.

1860  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: not receiving my two factor authentication at blockchain.info from SMS on: June 19, 2014, 10:47:00 AM
if anyone can help me on how to login my account without a backup,i would be glad, its my first time activating the my two factor authentication at blockchain.info from SMS and have not received any code so my account is blocked with my bitcoin stuck in Sad Sad Sad

You should opt for Google Authentication method and not SMS, but the train has left the station so lets not discuss that now.

This is from their FAQ:

I didn't receive a confirmation code?
The provided phone number must include the full international dialing code prefixed with a +. International SMS messaging can be unreliable some country codes and network providers may not be supported.

If nothing works, you can try their 2FA reset page:
