I only Open Bitcoin Core and ports and that's it ? and is there is any option on the Bitcoin Core to check if I'am running the node right or I should get a messag eor something ?
A Bitcoin node is nothing more than a Bitcoin-QT client that has a whole copy of blockchain and is connected to the internet 24x7 So no, you don't need to go any extra mile to become a Bitcoin node. Just make sure your wallet is fully synce and keep it open and online 24x7

How reliable are premium VPN services that let you fake your IP address? If TOR is not an option, I assume VPN would be the best choice for covering the real IP address?
Most paid VPN services do not log the IP addresses for more than 24 hours (a few don't log them at all), and they don't give away that information without a court order. And since local laws are different from country-to-country, it would be as hard as shutting down TPB.
As VPN stores your IP, it isn't that easy to get it once there is a hack. Even if they only release after a court order, you can tell your lawyer or yourself to them to save the IP data of that particular day. -MZ A survey of top VPN providers: http://torrentfreak.com/which-vpn-services-take-your-anonymity-seriously-2014-edition-140315/Out of some 25-ish services only 4 or 5 services keep ANY information about IP address. And most erase this log within 24 hours. So if I had a choice between TOR and VPN, you know what I'm going to choose.

My point being , there's so many other much more profitable ways to be earning bitcoins can someone explain to me who the people using these are ? and why.
The only people using faucets are the ones that don't understand the point you're making. Mostly noobs. More explanation for those who're still using faucets and are reading this topic: There are only 2 types of Bitcoin faucets: 1. Bad faucets 2. Worst faucets - Calculate the amount of time you spend for filling out CAPTCHAS on faucets. - See how much BTC you earned by spending that time. - Look for a job that you can do and see how much it pays for the same amount of time - See how many Bitcoins you can buy by earning that much of fiat. VOILA! A MOMENT OF LIBERATION !!

Start an exchange -> get lots of customer deposit -> claim to be hacked -> profit
Bitcoin lost is not in any protection of law, only fiat money, if they could just return the fiat money to users, they will get away leagally
Would be a real embarrassment and a lot of trouble for them if someone wins that 720 BTC bounty and the thief turns out to be BTER themselves.

So using Tor with Bitcoin Core or any other wallet is indeed safe and I have nothing to worry about ? Totally annonymus or still there is chance to my IP to get revealed ?

Read my post above. There is a link to a paper published about why it isn't good to use Tor with Bitcoin. How reliable are premium VPN services that let you fake your IP address? I personally prefer MultiBit, but Electrum is also good. Both of them are good for your purpose.
No matter which wallet you use, do not forget to make regular backup of your wallet and also keep substantial amount of your BTC in 'cold storage'. (Google for more on cold storage & paper wallets)

Well, it won't get past that screen until I let it have admin rights, so the folder choice was at later stage.
So I went ahead as admin, then in next steps I changed the installation location to C:/Neos... Then after installation I ran the launcher with standard user rights.
It is working but I don't know where it is fetching the wallet from, because when I launch wallet using new launcher, it still says v2.0.1b at the bottom. Since I have used many older versions, i have wallet data in 3 different locations now: C:/Users/username/app data/roaming/neos C:/Program Files (86)/Neos C:/Neos
Really confuse on how to uninstall the older versions
I think I've found the cause for this as well as some other issues some users noticed. Are you around by chance today to verify a new installer build I just put together that it doesn't request admin first? I'll be posting my updates and details after I've put this through a few trials. Best regards, syntaks I am at work now, but I'll definitely download the latest installer and report back once I get to home. Appreciate you acting as quick as possible on bug fixes!

So.. finally it reach $230 USD again. And I have a feeling that it will hit $260 USD pretty soon. Anyone have the same feeling? And posible $300 in two weeks.. Not pumping Bitcoin. Just telling how I'm feeling right now. Hopfully it wont drop back to $210 - $220 USD again..
Well.. you were right in saying it would hit $260 mark.. But it also came down to $220 again, as you had feared. This is the world of Bitcoin we live in. Everything is possible

This user gave me a bad rep... is there a way to erase that??? its unfair. My only feedback is from a scammer who tried to steal my money... great!
He gave me a negative feedback too, although it should be the other way round. I just told everyone to stay away from him because of his scam attempts. I didn't give him negative feedback, but he gave me one! LOL.. Now I would just return the favor and give him bad rap too...

Cool...! So many improvements over previous version.
I am currently using v2.0.1b on Windows Is the upgrade process as simple as downloading the latest executable and installing it?
More or less, but be sure you don't run/install the new Neos as administrator. That was one of the focal points with this new system was to avoid requiring admin at all. The launcher removes that necessity. Just let me know if you have any issues whatsoever and we'll straighten them out. Best regards, syntaks I am trying to install as standard user, but it asks me this every time: Should I go ahead and install it as administrator?
