Bitcore(btx) seems to be a familiar project to me but I haven't visited that link you have given. As an individual on this market, we should set boundaries for anyone who tells us anything.

We have to verify everything that anyone tells us and that's what you did.

As for that exchange, I do not think that's related to the actual btx project and it is not enticing at all. Although the project itself is low volumed.
1842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 17, 2022, 10:55:12 AM
They are going outside the meta and you could really see when it comes to draftings which it is really truly unpredictable.Take for example where Chen is been mostly picked
and mostly been banned.Whenever TS hero been banned then they do easily adjust and pick another one and this is where other teams messing up on banning against counterpicks.
One contributor that I can think of their greatness is Silent, their coach. I admire this guy since he has started playing competitive and with his experience and proper guidance to the whole team, they're doing it.

They can adapt to any situation with those bans and picks and that's what's good to them plus the great hero pool.

Is the current T1 roster or the news is real? I thought it was just a fan made or somewhat. Cant believe if that was true.
It's real.

Topson and ana is in for T1.
1843  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can making a wallet make you rich? on: August 17, 2022, 08:50:23 AM
I've forgot to say and add that it's mostly on the custodial wallets. I've used a handful of them in the past years and had a comparison to the current network fee and to those wallets that I've used before and there's really sort of an additional to the base fee.

Although the market wasn't really that bad at all during those times and those fees weren't that much. Eventually, I've stopped using them and sticked to the non-custodial ones.

Then sorry if I was too harsh; as I said the "equation" is much different in case of custodian services. Also those usually get together with other services offered, squeezing some more cents here and there (like maybe getting tx fee for transferring funds between addresses of the same platform, but nothing actually done on-chain, hence all the fee money kept).

Just nowadays we advise everybody move off custodial platforms. Now the trend seems to be to oppose as much as possible the KYC and also be aware that "not your keys, not your coins", which all mean going away from custodial wallets.

There are very few niches available imho for a new custodian wallet. Maybe LN. It will not be easy for OP to start such a platform. He may even need backing from a financial institution and then he may become employee, which is far from the "getting rich" idea.
No problem, it was my bad I haven't reviewed what I've said before that post.

The sad thing that I've noticed is that, there are still plenty of users with those custodial wallets and they're trusting it more than the non-custodial. I think the ratio compared to us that knew the differences of those isn't that big.

But still, we'll never know what can happen to those funds if something goes wrong with those wallets or services that these people are trusting. Especially these days, it seems becoming common to see exchanges halting withdrawals and it's possible to happen with these custodial wallets.
1844  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can making a wallet make you rich? on: August 17, 2022, 07:29:14 AM
Most wallets earn from commission through additional from the fee that they're asking to their users. It's aside from the network or transaction fee, they're adding a bit from there.

I have a feeling you have no idea what you're talking about. Unless it's a custodian service (which is not really a proper wallet, since it's not your keys it's working with), a wallet doesn't charge extra fees. So all the fees are miner fees and the wallet developer earns nothing off it.
Custodian services do ask you to overpay for the fee and many make money off that, but, as I said, those are not really wallets (although I know that many tend to use even exchanges as wallet services).
Yeah, thanks.

1845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins for this week on: August 16, 2022, 07:35:54 PM
LTC, LINK, BNB can surge high this week. Am I taking the correct names? Your thoughts guys?
Why ask us if you're correct with those? You should have some analysis on why you think that they'll be the highlights of this week. I'm optimistic about BNB and LTC as I hold them and also use them for transactions.

Also, I'm bullish for BNB and that's why I am holding it for long term so, I don't mind whether it's on the pick of others for their list of altcoins for this week or not.
1846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 16, 2022, 06:21:29 PM
That last pick of Axe was really a surprise. That's unexpected as they thought that Collapse would just be using the typical offlaners like what he has used for so many times.

But PSG.LGD have forgotten that Team Spirit is an unorthodox team and hard to read with its picking and strategy and they have a large hero pool.

Congrats to them, proven that they really are the champs.
Even myself didnt really expect for that Axe pick as offlane but it did really end up to be a good counter pick in the end and collapse made out crucial moves which makes things advantage for them and
it was a last pick which we didnt really expect it out considering that last pick of LGD was CK.This is what makes team spirit better than other teams which they had indeed that large hero pool
where it is really hard to predict when it comes to drafting times where banning certain heroes wont really be that much in effect since they could easily make adjustments basing on enemies draft.
Totally unpredictable and huge hero pool which did really a good job. Congrats to the team and hope they would really be that consistent on upcoming The international.
Although we knew that Axe has been played as an offlane a long time ago but it wasn't that on meta for this patch but still, everyone has been surprised with that, and mostly, LGD was.

The large hero pool for every role in a team is very important and this is what makes Team Spirit very versatile and a good team. Many don't like them but they're just proving how strong they are.
1847  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin bear market over? on: August 16, 2022, 04:58:47 PM
so many people that sold the bottom in the comments, so many that sold and thought btc will hit 10k. wonder what they going to do when btc hits new all-time highs, without reaching 10k.
now it is near 24,000, so it is the time to buy.
It doesn't matter if bitcoin won't hit a new low. It's their problem that they haven't bought bitcoin when it has reached $17k and if it's bound to get into a new ATH, they'll not miss it.

Because they're in between buying or waiting for some more. We're not yet out of the bear market and the bottom ain't that far from the current price that we've got.

The confidence isn't yet there that bear's totally out, still, it's around the corner and anytime the price could go below $20k again.

Is margin and future trading possible on those smart contract decentralized exchanges?
On pancakeswap, there is the perpetual/futures.

https://perp.pancakeswap.finance/en/futures/BTCUSDT?theme=dark

But on sushiswap and uniswap, it seems that they don't have futures. I think on pancakeswap, this feature was just recently added cmiiw.
1849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Describe what Bitcoin has done for you on: August 15, 2022, 11:33:10 PM
Too many things and I can't drop all of them in here since when we say too many or a lot, they certainly a lot of things. But to name a few, about the idea that we're getting to know how the market works not just particular in bitcoin but also had given us the idea about how other market works.

Had taught us to get the idea of economics and other certain knowledge that's reliant to the same topic. I'm no great into these fields but through bitcoin, it had given me that idea and knowledge despite admitting that I'm not great.

But bitcoin became the way to make me learn those things.

Most wallets earn from commission through additional from the fee that they're asking to their users. It's aside from the network or transaction fee, they're adding a bit from there.

Also, if a wallet has an integrated exchange, they're earning more from there the same with what I've said about the fees and commissions.

Let's say that wallet owners or developers are earning but they're also making sure that their wallet is tight in security and they invest there as well.

1851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 15, 2022, 09:28:13 PM
That is correct. Even OG's DPC points are off when compared to actual points. Fanatic still werent going to make it through points as team Outsiders would have been even more ahead of Fanatic if not for the roaster change etc. Fanatic will have to fight their way through regional quals for now.
I cannot fathom how the organization of Fnatic and its players are feeling after looking at the points. From the very since this DPC point has started, many didn't like the system but they have no choice but to adopt it as they can't do anything with it.

Too many contenders on the SEA while the slots are few for them.

Team spirit is the Arlington Major Champion. What a series they have against PSG.LGD.

I never expected that axe last pick on collapse, that was brilliant. LGD has a good start. They are dominating the lane and even stole the creep stack of miposhka, I really thought LGD will win Game 4 but after the first team wipe, team Spirit took the helm and never looked back. All the controls from rubick and axe, the heal and sustain from chen pushed team spirit to Arlington Major Championship.

PSG.LGD another defeat on a BO5 series. They are really good in group stages and playoff that I cannot believe they will lose in the most important series of the tournament. They have more defeat in the Finals than in group and playoff stage together. Choking much?
That last pick of Axe was really a surprise. That's unexpected as they thought that Collapse would just be using the typical offlaners like what he has used for so many times.

But PSG.LGD have forgotten that Team Spirit is an unorthodox team and hard to read with its picking and strategy and they have a large hero pool.

Congrats to them, proven that they really are the champs.

You just don't hand over your phone to your friend or any stranger if it contains all of your sensitive information like private keys. And why save your private keys on your phone or emails?

There could still be people saving all of their private keys and seeds on emails and they should stop doing that or they'll learn the lesson the hardest way.

Keep a low profile and don't intend to be the boastful type to your circle of friends or strangers because you'll never know whom you can trust.

I have the same bet, watching second map of the match and it is a wild one. We are getting to minute 70 and it is perfectly balanced on 50%-50% for last half an hour. This is a map well worth of the final. Problem is now I will not be able to go to sleep, I'll have to watch it all the way to the end and it is already past midnight here.
1-1 as the standing for this grand finals. You can watch the replay if you have to sleep but that doesn't have any thrill anymore as for sure you'll check your bets first before you watch the replay later.

As it's on the 3rd game right now.

This grand finals in the Arlington major are like the grand finals of the last year's The International. It was also TS versus PSG.LGD.
1854  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of BTC ever hit $40k again? on: August 14, 2022, 10:21:02 PM
I observed several changes in the price  within a few months. With these changes, I wish to ask do you think the price of Bitcoin will ever hit $40k again?
I'm just being curious as a new trader.
Yes.

Just like how it was easy for bitcoin that it has come back to $20k which was the ATH of 2017 and then now the sitting and floor price that we've got.

So, it's very possible to happen if that's the price that you're asking to see. The next bull run will be exciting and $40k might just even be a passable price if it comes again.

[Dota 2] Watching now the last game for the match of Entity and Boom Esports. I don't know if this is the final of Boom Esports for this major as the score isn't favorable for them.

12-3 kills in favor of Entity.

Next game is beascoast and Outsiders, two teams that are alread qualified for The Intertional 11.
BoomEsports was outdrafted on that game 3. They thought that Sven was the core but its not but rather that Necro by Saberlight  which had fucked them hard on late game.

Currently watching for Beast and Outsiders game 1. I would be putting my bet on Outsiders on this game but wont really be that simple unless if Ramzess would able to make some good farm.

What makes me excite is on the game where LGD against TS.  Cool
Well, they probably haven't picked IO on that last match. Too hard for them to kill each of those heroes on the game 3 as they're all thick and hard.

Well, Boom and Entity ended both of their journey and we're already on the semis, LGD waiting on the grand finals while Team Spirit is waiting for the battle for 3rd.

Meanwhile, OG and Aster are playing right now. Game 1 is won by Aster.

I still see the sad news within that another platform got hacked. It's better if most of these people's money won't be back there again after being retrieved.

Don't deposit it anymore and it's better to be held if you're just holding it and waiting for those rewards. Well, Binance did it again and they're good into this.

Let's see the good thing on this that they're able to recover the money of those affected people and they must learn that they shouldn't redeposit it there again.

1858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I started business many days ago. Now it's time to accept Crypto as a payment. on: August 12, 2022, 02:11:05 PM
It is a good start IMO.

You'll have the idea on who are those customers of yours that are also bitcoin holders. And if you assess that they're a lot, it's better to go with the idea of going with the better way of receiving it and Binance will be just like your 2nd option.

Like having your own qr code from a wallet like electrum or wasabi for which it's really under your wallet as you are the owner of the keys of it.

Overall, you're doing great and I wish the success for your business and as well as with crypto.
1859  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 WINZ.IO 🚀 WELCOME BONUS: 300 FREE SPINS 🎁 $50K MINING ADVENTURE ⛰️ on: August 12, 2022, 12:53:27 PM
and beginning to understand that the bonuses on the casino require some form of condition to be met before a withdrawal can be made and KYC will be required at some point even though it is mentioned on the term and condition when opening an account, and this practices familiar with most casinos.
Yes, that's how it works for most casinos and not only on winz.

And that's also the start where players are complaining if they're not accustomed to these requirements being asked by any casino. Ever since, those bonuses won't just come at the pleasure and advantage of players.

There will be conditions that has to be met by the players for them to enjoy those and as well as requirements that shall be asked.
1860  Economy / Economics / Re: Why aren't people utilising cryptocurrency payment methods? on: August 11, 2022, 10:29:16 AM
So, do you use cryptocurrency or crypto cards? What are your thoughts on it if you use it? If not, what's the deal?
I don't own a card yet and have no plans of getting one yet. I use crypto for my purchases online and good thing that there goes the integrated exchanges that online shops allow their customers to pay with bitcoin.

It is making our lives easier and those that want to spend bitcoin for purchases. While I'm holding for long term, I allocate some for spending for the things that I want to have and need.

Whilst we're using it for purchases and holding, people that don't have an idea on it will never use it and also those people who have doubts about bitcoin, they won't just come out and use it if they're hearing negative hearsays about it.
