I believe it is DigiShield.

It would be a big deal if you actually had evidence.

"r0ach said so" does not make it big deal.

Yeah... too much conspiracy. Cheesy
1863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: It is time to question Poloniex market manipulation on: May 16, 2016, 08:35:46 AM
In terms of Polo, I don't know if they offer any discounts or rebates privately beyond what they give everyone, but it is not unusual, or even improper, to give incentive discounts or rebates to high volume market makers. I've been offered this in the past by other crypto exchanges (not Polo).

I am not using Polo lately since I have stopped trading for a while, but I do believe that they are offering some discounts to like you called them "high volume market makers". Of course that this is not something, which we can call improper... its just doing good business. Smiley
1864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: It is time to question Poloniex market manipulation on: May 16, 2016, 08:21:45 AM
You can call it "fake" trading (i.e. buying and selling something, pay just the fee for the trade and create artificial volume).

Or in the case of zero fee exchanges (not Poloniex according to their posted fee rates, but who knows what private discounts/rebates may exist), you don't even have to pay the fee to do it.

I'm not sure about that. A lot of people are following Ethereum, and I believe that the volume is genuine. If I was part of the Poloniex exchange, I would not risk my reputation like that. They have become a leading (not only altcoin) exchange in the world and they are making a lot of money anyways. Smiley
1865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: It is time to question Poloniex market manipulation on: May 16, 2016, 08:07:46 AM
This is quite normal. A lot of people are expecting a rise in price when a coin is listed on Poloniex.

Yes I understand. But do you think that Polo uses this to their advantage?
Do you think they fill their bags with that coin before listing it?

Of course they can do that, because they will surely make some profit on it, but I don't believe that they are doing it.

can you guys help me understand what wash trade means and how they benefit from it?

Also, they just added 2 coins in 2 days.
Decred & Voxels.

Both of them pumped up.
What do you think about this?  Roll Eyes

I am the one who sold about 6k coins, but this has nothing to do with losing faith in coin or something else. I just needed the money...

Ah well at least you owned up hehe..Does anyone know the total supply what it will be? I can't see it on the OP lol.  Smiley

Check post #6 or #16  Wink

I did not dumped the price! I'm sure I will be sorry for selling part of my coins (I still have a good portion of the coin) for such a low price, but like I already said - I needed money!

What's the marketcap of this coin? Seems like it's less than 10 btc?  Shocked

If you are calculating it by using buy orders, then it is more like ~7 BTC.

... I am interested on how they will they market a project or a coin which connotes negativism on it's name..

Hello,

Are you still asking this question? Bitcoin has close to 129 million transactions to date, which in my opinion means that less than 1 million (probably a lot less) people are using it. FAIL (or failure) is part of the life of more than 7.4 billion people. Even one FAIL-related YouTube channel (you can see it in the screenshot) has at least 10 times more subscribers, than Bitcoin users. Of course we are not even close to compare FailCoin with Bitcoin. What we want to do is to help for the adoption of the cryptocurrencies. I cannot agree that FAIL as a currency (or name) brings negativism. People here on the forum are used to call useless cryptocurrencies failcoins or s*itcoins, but how many are they? Bitcointalk has close to 825k members (which is indeed a big number), half of them probably inactive. Do you think that they are "setting the rules"?

This is no joke and you should have already understand that.

Cheers,
Spartak

Stay FAILed!

Of course I don't want to stay failed I want to succeed and remain on top, anyone of your members or holders have asked I think we are struggling because our name alone is the one pulling us down? In my observation and my first impression  this is a community of people who fail in life you can correct me of course..

Hello,

Personally by saying "Stay FAILed" I mean "Stay tuned". We all think that the name of the coin is unique and nobody from our Team members have ever said anything against it. Is DOGE for example a better name?

So you think that we fail in real life? OK!

Adam is married with 3 children and he is running several businesses, which soon will be extremely successful.
Androidicus is experienced IT and his real life job is actually pretty good.
Kostas and yogg are IT's as well.
Isaac is almost 23-years old, but he will be PhD in Biotechnology in 6 years.
Leon is from South Korea, but he is currently mastering Public Relations in Australia, and he is only 23 years old as well. He, as Adam, also runs several businesses.
Sigit is married with 2 children, it has BEAUTIFUL family and he is working in the indonesian Banking sector for over 10 years.
Moshe has his own company, which makes marketing researches.
Vitalik has a strong background in Telecommunications sector and also runs his own business.
Devvie, our only woman, also runs his own business and she is also an IT.
Panoch, our Lead developer is one of the best you can find. I can point out to at least 5 developers to whom he helped, but I don't think its necessary. I will only say that he is working for a BIG company and one of the Bitcoin Core developers said: "This is THE guy!".

Basically, more than half of the team are IT's and you should know that people working in that sector are well paid.

I am also a FAILer in real life. I am 35-years old now, but back in 2003 I was one of the first ISP's in Bulgaria and by 2007 nobody in the country have offered faster speeds than me, no matter that I was working alone. I have a Bachelor degree in Marketing, I am IT for close to 20 years now and I am certified broker on Sofia Commodity Exchange.

We know very well what we are doing.

Thank you for your interest in FAIL!

Cheers,
Spartak

Hello,

Yesterday was our first meeting on slack. You can read details about it at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1014145.msg14801234#msg14801234
We are still looking for members from around the world!

Cheers,
Spartak
1875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FailCommunity's FailCoin | New wallets and features soon | on: May 09, 2016, 08:12:46 PM
Dear FAILers,

Yesterday was the first slack discussion of the FailCommunity team.
Three of our members couldn't make it for the meeting, but the participants were:

aizzaku (Isaac Nandgavkar, India)
batesresearch (Adam Rizvi, England)
btcsharehub (Leon Song, South Korea/Australia)
devvienuis (Devvie, Netherlands)
killerjoegreece (Kostas, Greece)
mellon (Vitalik, Russia)
pnoch (Panoch, Thailand, Lead FAIL developer)
retnods (Sigit Chow, Indonesia)
spartak_t (Spartak Tomanov, Bulgaria)

On this meeting we have decided as follows:

1. Most likely there will be no hard fork on FailCoin! As of now, about 902,000 block are mined and FAIL current supply is ~20 million coins. Some of the team members wanted to give a chance for the miners to get some coins and we also want to push some of the features, which we feel as more important to our development. In this way the PoW phase will continue for at least 2 more years (depends on the diff.)...
NOTE: Keep in mind that this decision is not final!

2. Our Website, Social accounts and this thread will be completely redesigned.
NOTE: You can see that we already made minor changes on our Twitter and Facebook accounts. More to follow!

3. Team members, which are mentioned with both of their names will reveal their identity and they will be presented on our website.

Now something about our development as a cryptocurrency. Here is where we are so far:

NOTE: The design of the wallet is not final!

We intend to use the latest QT 5.6, but we are experiencing issues with the webkit so we are fixing the things one at the time. Panoch knows more about this, since I'm not the coder here.

ETA for the release of our new wallet is by the end of the month, but we are not promising anything! We have also talked about other features of the wallet and Fail as a cryptocurrency, but those will be revealed in future.

P.S. FAIL team will also release a whitepaper, roadmap and a video/s (note: we will do our best to narrate it on as many languages as we can) to explain everything we have in mind and most importantly, how the wallet can be used and what is the purpose of FAIL as a cryptocurrency.

Feel free to ask your questions.

Stay FAILed!

Best regards,
Spartak Tomanov

Hello,

Our meeting on slack was very productive! Details from it will be announced tomorrow. You probably already know that we are going to develop FailCoin as part of the FailCommunity (a community with its own cryptocurrency). What do you guys think about this logo? Any inputs will be well appreciated!

P.S. PLEASE do not quote the logo!

Cheers,
Spartak

Since we have looked on this coin and thought that this could be a good investment for investors and holders we would like to request that all your plan be posted it here of course it is up to you to lay your new plans for this coin project..

Hello,

No worries. Bad thing is that half of the team is already online (6 members + 1 guest), but our developer is still not available. Grin
