Yes I said it, and you won't get an apology.  It was said in private during a heated argument, the fact that he feels it necessary to have made it public is pathetic.

Whether you think Brit is dead or not doesn't matter, because the Britcoin network will carry on and will move forward, without me I must add.

So racist language is fine in private but exposing it is unforgivable?  It would be funny were it not so sad.  Only a moron would buy this at the auction now because if they read this thread they would run a mile.

I'm not going to speak to you about this here, once the new owner is confirmed this thread will be removed and they will have a chance at a fresh start, please keep your butthurt over a word to yourself.

Like I'm scared of you?  This is dead because you killed it.  Trying to delete things won't help.  Also I and many other people are hurt because we believed in you.  Just shows how stupid we were.

Not something I can truly say often: Speechless...

The most alarming thing is he thinks it is acceptable because he was angry with rghmodz.
1864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [♔] British Digital Currency | 5% annual PoS - Bittrex - Fiat to BritCoin [BRIT] on: December 07, 2014, 12:30:06 AM
So this is you little prick? And you have the gall to speak of hatred? Wow!

Yes I have hatred for rghmodz. For what he has done this evening is beyond, he has gone out of his way to lie to the community, post private discussions and slander me.. I can post equally 'nasty' things he has said to me privately too, but I'm not an arsehole.  As for "racism" I will say anything when I'm beyond pissed off, I have no idea or care what race he is.

And for the last time, Brit isn't dead, it's just getting started. Smiley

So you admit you said that then?  There really is no excuse or way back from that.  Brit wasn't dead but it is now because of you Angry
1865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]: [Mana] : SCRYPT coin designed for mining (LOW BLOCK REWARDS+HARD TO MINE) on: December 06, 2014, 09:22:15 PM
Been screwed by the latest scam coin?

MANA is still here and will be as long as I am.

Come on board - it might not make you rich, in fact, it probably won't but it is an honest coin that is designed to retain value.

Since I still have most of the bounty money left I will be giving a 5 MANA prize to the first 5 people to post their MANA address here or message me with it.
1866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [♔] British Digital Currency | 5% annual PoS - Bittrex - Fiat to BritCoin [BRIT] on: December 06, 2014, 09:13:52 PM
It's here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=760289.msg8572079#msg8572079

Unfortunately it's solo mining only right now as the two pools went off line when they realised this wasn't going to be another P&D coin for them to make a fast buck on.  I will send 5 coins to the first 5 people to send me their wallet addresses.  Message me if there are any issues/problems.
1867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [♔] British Digital Currency | 5% annual PoS - Bittrex - Fiat to BritCoin [BRIT] on: December 06, 2014, 09:04:33 PM
Why are you so racist?

Well if that is genuine then Brit truly is dead.  No need for that kind of behaviour and just to say RGHModz has consistently been one of the strongest supporters of Britcoin.

Anyway lets just let Britcoin die now because that comment will shoot down any revival that could have happened.

Also if anyone wants to help out with my Mana coin experiment I'm still on the lookout for other team members.
1868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: MANA: Seeking new team members prior to relaunch - bounties available on: December 01, 2014, 11:17:45 PM

No premine - but 120 blocks instamined during testing.  Coins to be used for bounties & 20 coins each for team members.

this is so funny from the original OP - just call a spade a spade - it was fricking pre-mined and there's nothing wrong with that - no one expects people to do all this work for free - I wouldn't...

Smiley

Well if I wrote premined someone would come on and say "why are you calling it a premine?" so whilst the end result is the same it was instamined but the end result is identical.  I still have all 120 for bounties:)

This coin was never abandoned.
1871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / MANA: Seeking new team members prior to relaunch - bounties available on: December 01, 2014, 11:05:55 PM
Mana is a SCRYPT coin designed to be stable, scarce, slowly mined and dump proof.  Prior to doing a full relaunch I am seeking new team members.  Each team member will receive a 20 MANA bounty (50% to be paid after 2 weeks - further 50% to be paid after 12 weeks).  The team roles which need to be fulfilled at present are:

1) PR/Social Media representative

2) Lead coder/programmer for further code development

3) Lead designer &/Artist for developing new artwork, aesthetics etc.

If you feel you could contribute please direct message me.

You can find the original MANA launch thread with further info here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=760289.msg8572079#msg8572079

Agreed but I think the utility will come when there are enough people that have BRIT right now it's just a small number.  I think the general state of the alt market means that people are holding off on investing in new coins.  It's kind of a catch-22.  More people will only invest if there's some utility, utility will only come if there are more people using it/holding it.  Right now I don't think people see any reason to invest in anything beyond Bitcoin.  As long as the Britcoin team sticks to their guns and keep supporting it then hopefully people will start to trust that it will have a long term future.

Anyway if anyone want's to get involved with MANA whilst we wait for something to happen please get in touch.  It may never amount to anything but it is at least different to the vast majority of alt coins and I'm sticking with it long term whatever happens.

I hope this picks up.  I still have quite a lot of Brit and am going to hold on for the long term.  Seems the whole market is pretty dead right now though.

While everyone is waiting I still need help with MANA (coin) if anyone is interested in a coin with scarcity/dump proofing/hard to mine/POW only etc.  Has big potential if people believe in it but I need help with it as the programming part of the team had to leave due to a change in work circumstances.

So what's up? Is this dead again?

Well just to say I'm keeping this alive.  I'm still here and not going anywhere.  Join me now and you can get a lot of MANA.  A year from now it will be very expensive to mine or to buy.

Been in and out of hospital due to health issues but am hoping to get the fifth star once I'm more easily available.

Great.  Look forward to seeing it:)

I agree it's too early to give up on this.  I just think it's better not to promise anything by a certain date if you can't deliver because people then don't take anything you say seriously (particularly if it isn't followed up by a reasonable explanation).  I think it is always best to under-promise and over-deliver.

Tomorrow has come and it's nearly gone.  Don't make promises you can't keep.  It just looks bad.
