The only cards I would buy in such a difficult situation are the ones who consumes the least amount of energy yet having a decent and substantial amount of hash rate.Based on such logic you can never go wrong with the used 3060 ti which are the ones that consumes the least amount of energy and you can find them used for like 300-350 USD at 60 Mhsh for me is the best buy for anyone who is looking to buy video cards.
The best result I expect to be 4060 ti when it comes out as it will probably further down the energy consumption and increase the hash rate but the down side to that is that they will only be new cards and as such being expensive does not justify such a purchase.

And in April there will be more information after the release of RTX 4070

YouTuber Moore’s Law is Dead uncovered the pictures of the new mid-range and entry-level gaming GPUs. We are just weeks away from a formal launch of first gaming laptops equipped with GeForce RTX 40 series, some of which are featuring yet unseen Ada Lovelace GPUs. MLID obtained two photos of said GPUs, the AD106 and AD107 to be precise. These are to launch as RTX 4070 and RTX 4060/4050 series respectively by the end of this month. https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-ada-ad107-ad106-gpus-pictured-much-smaller-than-ampere-predecessorsFinally something exciting in that field (at least from a gamer's point of view ) I'm always impressed how much power can be packed inside thin chassis like those, every since the GTX 10xx series, it was a huge leap forward in laptop GPUs performance. Nvidia has to sell new video chips, so laptops are a good way to increase sales. But the price of new laptops is dear to me, provided that now you can make a good gaming computer for $ 1000 from components if you buy a GPU from miners and a processor and memory in China. With today's pricing and performance, (gaming) laptops are becoming a truly good value compared to how it was before. Especially if you take into consider you'll be getting a decent high refresh rate screen, plus in some cases really good keyboard. Are the graphics of the new MacBook Pro really that powerful? GeForce RTX 4070 was 35% faster than the 38-core GPU platform Apple M2 Max https://gadgettendency.com/are-the-graphics-of-the-new-macbook-pro-really-that-powerful-geforce-rtx-4070-was-35-faster-than-the-38-core-gpu-platform-apple-m2-max/And here everything is not so rosy, at least if you focus on the data from the OpenCL test of the Geekbench benchmark. If the 38-core GPU of the Apple M2 Max platform scores 75,139 points in it, then the result of the GeForce RTX 4070 is just over 102,000 points. The difference is about 35%.It's a bit difficult to compare these two on paper. Yes, you could do it based on raw power, especially in synthetic benchmarks, but that's not too reflective of day-to-day usage. I think that the price of these laptops is expensive. MacBook lovers will certainly buy their new model and so on. GeForce RTX 4070 in April We have some exclusive information on RTX 4070 graphics card. https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-geforce-rtx-4070-expected-to-launch-in-aprilThe RTX 4070 is expected to feature 5888 CUDA Cores and 12 GB of GDDR6X memory. This model should basically be a cut-down RTX 4070 Ti with lower TDP (200W). Earlier plans have shown that NVIDIA wants to start mass production of the chips this month, so April seems to be within the typical launch schedule.

But if you can give away a problematic video card, then this is a good offer. Where does ASUS sell old video cards?
The only information I found in the terms is that the board is in perfect working condition. It could be to recondition and sell to more "poor" markets, I don't know. Or else to recycle the materials. Рerfect working condition is a very abstract statement I saw video card miners with holes in the video chip because the cooling system exploded, but the video card continues to mine perfectly. I have seen video cards with a non-working cooling system, where there is no gas, and repair is impossible. And some users may not know that this is a video card problem, and they will not receive a discount?

I have disconnected my old graphics cards from mining and have already sold about half. In January, sales were bad, but in February I sold a lot of video cards. If interested, I will write the sale prices GTX 1070 $150 GTX 1080 $210 RX 480 8 GB $100 I did the maintenance, cleaning, replacement of thermal pads and fans myself, so my expenses were minimal. I plan to sell the remaining GPUs in 30-45 days.
I still have the RTX 2070 and RX 5600, and while they are in the mining.
I keep thinking about what to buy. I definitely don't want an RTX 3080-3090 and I certainly don't want an RTX 4080-4090 because they are so hot. But I see that new coins require high performance of the video card core, so the 4xx series outperforms the 3x series on many coins by 50 percent or more.
If you make a decision on this logic, then my choice is the RTX4070 that should appear or the RTX 4070ti. Or buy used 3060-3070.
RTX 4070s are still expensive, I can buy a 3070 after mining in good condition for 400-420 dollars. Tell me your plans

I don't buy video cards from China, because in my country I can buy 3000 series video cards for the same price with a remaining warranty period of 1.5 years or more. But I will never look at the memory color of a purchased video card immediately after purchase. And after 1-2 years of mining, it will not matter.

Any eth algo will get destroyed by ASICs. E9 is now $1,299 no reason not to buy one if you mine ethw
The problem is that these asics were sold out in a few hours and now they are sold for 2-3 times more on the market. This is a very profitable mining. Look at the price of these asics in your country, I think you will be very disappointed when you find out the selling price of these asics.

lolMiner 1.67Changes Improved Nexa performance on Nvidia Turing based gpus by approximately 35%+. Improved Nexa performance on 8G Nvidia Ampere gpus by approximately 1.5% when memory is not locked and ~3% on locked memory (5000). 10G and higher gpus got an additional 5% performance increase. Improved Nexa performance on Nvidia Ada based gpus by approximately 25% on locked memory clock (5000) and about 8% on unlocked memory. Added Nexa echelon mining protocol to support pools using it, e.g. 137pool.org. The needed format will be automatically detected when connecting to a pool using it. Updated WebUI for Nexa mining and more pools to support. Flux Undergoes Second Halving Event, Price Hits Five-Month High https://beincrypto.com/flux-second-halving-event-price-five-month-high/Just like Bitcoin, Flux halves its block reward every 655,350 blocks. However, since one block is generated approximately every 2 minutes, the halving happens roughly every 2.5 years. The halving event has reduced the block reward from 75 to 37.5 FLUX. It should be noted that Flux only rewards miners with half of the block reward. The other half is split between Masternodes, which means the current mining reward is 18.75 FLUX.

ETC gave a good profit to miners who sold the coin for more than $100. But then the hashrate was small and most miners mined this coin on 4 GB video cards, so the hashrate was small. Now the hashrate is above 100 terahash, and if asics come to mining, then this coin will be for asics.

Radeon VII (£ 200) I don't know the price of graphics cards in the UK, but I recently sold my GTX 1070 for $150 and GTX 1080 for $210. I had to buy a cooler or lubricate and clean and replace thermal pads. But if you can give away a problematic video card, then this is a good offer. Where does ASUS sell old video cards?

Are these new units or old units.
These are not new ASICs, but a remake of the old version Bitmain Antminer E9 (2.4Gh) https://www.asicminervalue.com/miners/bitmain/antminer-e9-2-4ghThe manufacturer added more memory, more chips and a new firmware for Ethereum Classic mining. If a firmware appears that can mine Ethereum POW and other similar coins, then this is the end for mining on video cards. You need to monitor the hashrate of the coins.

It seems like they went against their interests and abandoned any support for it immediately.
I was seeing the large transactions in Ezil.me pool and many other pools and I was seeing transactions well over 20.000 ETHW coins, this to me looks like the big miners which I assume are big farms that have resumed their mining activity so far supporting it,we saw the spike in price for this coin from under 3 dollars to well over 5 dollars in the past couple of days.It looks like this coin is well alive and supported by miners,I am also one of the small miners that mine it for a hobby but if it happens to reach 300-500 dollars this coin those guys that mine over 20.000 coins in a month will be billionaires,so yes miners so far have this as the best choice to follow. I did not notice a big increase in profit when the price increased to $5. Even at a price of $10, mining will be unprofitable, because the number of mines will probably increase. Miners still have a lot of unsold video cards, and until these video cards are distributed on the market, there will be no coin price pump.
